Hello everyone and welcome to the second chapter of the rose eva, now i'll hope you enjoy, let's begin.

Chapter 2

To say the months that flew by for Summer were strange would be an understatement.

It was about time for the new students to arrive at Beacon, the next day they will arrive.

She was surprised and worried when she was called by Ozpin to come to the police station in Vale, only to be happy and shocked when she found out Ruby was accepted into Beacon two years early.

They celebrated by eating cookies.

The reason the months were strange was because while she now has a job at Beacon to be close to Ryan, who is now going to attend the academy when his sisters arrive, was that her son was building things that he should not be able to at such a high speed and efficiency.

He built a motorcycle. A MASSIVE motorcycle that, to him, is like a normal sized one that's on the large side while to others it is absolutely massive while making weapons and other things for himself.

He built the motorcycle within 2 to 3 days, the frame, the engine, everything. There are some weird things on some of the things he builds, like on his motorcycle seat where he can lean back as the g forces push him back in the seat the was what looked like a plug of some kind around the mid back section of the seat.

It also doesn't help that he can't talk. Summer just knew he still can, it's probably because the helmet he has on won't allow him too.

She did everything she could to spend time with him, which she can tell he loved since when he shows her something he built, she gets excited and hugs him saying how proud she is, making him hug her back.

He showed her a weapon he made that was simple, yet effective.

A giant sword that looks like a greatsword on steroids.

He actually let her watch as he made the metal for it, while also adding something she had no idea what it was to the metal, he wrote that he mixed steel and titanium together with a few other things to make this sword incredibly durable and very deadly.

He also made other blade weapons, he has a few main ones he likes to use, ones that let him get up close and personal, yet let him have a good distance if needed.

Summer was with Ryan now in the private workshop he woke up in and reunited with his family, working on the motorcycle, doing final touches and adjustments to it.

"The engine in this thing is huge." Summer muttered in awe as she watched her son work on it, it was both impressive yet scary at the same time.

"Are you sure this motorcycle can handle this thing?" Summer asked while pointing at the engine, looking at her son who paused what he was doing and looked at her, then at the engine for a few seconds then the motorcycle itself before looking back at her and nodded.

"If you say so." Summer muttered worriedly, worried for him if anything happened. She looked over to a work table by the wall to see maintenance tools on it along with his weapons in specially designed lockers to his size against the wall next to it along with a few empty lockers, awaiting to hold new destructive and deadly weapons.

A few minutes pass before Ryan stands up after putting a couple of tools back in the tool box on a small moveable table next to him before his head perked up, like he remembered something.

"What? Remember someth-'' Summer was cut off as she was picked up and brought over to table in a hurry and set down gently as Ryan sat on the ground facing sideways from her.

"What was that for?" Summer asked with a raised brow as she stood there looking up at him, even with him sitting he is still taller than her and others except for some.

She watched as he gestured quickly, and what she can assume excitedly, with gestures to his head then what looked like digging and the next gesture pointing at his mouth before moving his hand like a puppet speaking.

It took Summer a minute or two of watching her son repeat the gestures before it clicked in her head.

"You found a way to talk!" Summer said excitedly as she hopped in place a bit, Ryan nodding quickly before he made more gestures, Summer being quiet and trying to figure them out.

"You want me to pull something off or out?" Summer said with worry, scared that there might be something that was harming her baby boy on the inside.

Ryan nodded before he turn his body away from the table they were next too and leaned back a little until he was resting on it a bit and gestured to the back of his head, making Summer squint a bit before she got on the table and was able to see what her son gestured to.

A metal plate that looked like a cover right on the back of his helmet, guarded by the parts of the helmet that encircled the back of it and curved.

"Is this what you were talking about?" Summer asked as she touched it, the moment she did, Ryan knew it and he opened it, the metal cover moved outwards toward her a bit and slid down, showing her multiple small plug chips with labels next to the plugs themselves.

"What am I looking fo-THERE YOU ARE!" Summer suddenly yelled in triumph as she grabbed the one she saw labeled 'voice lock' and pulled it out, unknowingly pulled another out that was labeled 'perma helmet locks'.

The moment they were pulled, sparks flew from the back of Ryan's helmeted head because of the sudden unplugging and speed of it, making him jolt forward into a standing position, stumbling around as he held his head in pain as the panel closed and sealed automatically back in place.

"RYAN! I'M SORRY I'M SORRY I'M SORRY!" Summer yelled in a panic as she ran up to him as he fell to his knees, she got in front of him and hugged him.

"That hurt." A voice said out of nowhere, startling Summer as she let go of Ryan and looked around for the source before she eyed him with a few tears building up.

"Was that…" Summer uttered quietly as a smile started to form, Ryan nodded.

"Yeah, I can finally talk again." Ryan said, is voice sounding like a normal 14 year old's, only having a slight robotic tone to it.

Summer hugged him again tightly while jumping with a big smile, him returning the hug. She let go and looked at him.

"I'm going to tell the others about this, they'll be so happy!" Summer said quickly and happily while she got her scroll out while bouncing lightly on the balls of her feet.

As she did that, Ryan stood up and looked over at some of the weapon lockers, a few were closed, meaning they already have a weapon inside, while a lot more were open showing nothing.

Now what he did to these lockers, besides make them big to be normal size to him, was install a couple of systems in them, a few that maintain the weapons inside them by cleaning them, sharpening them if needed, repairing them.

A couple of other systems was one that scans the weapon from top to bottom a couple of time's to get an accurate scan for the maintenance systems to work. The rocket system that all the lockers have is still there, but more powerful since he upgraded it a small bit.

The systems he added were not perfect, as he would need to add the parts that would need replacing on the weapon inside the locker to a compartment for the locker to do its magic, but he was working on a robotic system outside the lockers to help with that.

What his gaze was on is one of the closed lockers, what was inside is a secret to his family when they saw some of his weapons, but the one in the locker that he was looking at was a combination of a few weapons.

Whatever he fights with it better hope it dies within the first hit.

TIMESKIP

The start of new year at Beacon, the bullhead's that were carrying the potential first years were now approaching the landing pads where Ryan stood, he was allowed to go meet his sisters, who were told that he was found alive when he was taken to Beacon, they were told he was staying at the academy to keep an eye on him and to make sure is is alright along with he is different now.

They were given hints on what he looked like, such as his height, his armor color, but that was about it. They weren't told he could speak again, when they first heard he couldn't speak he was told they were ready to storm the academy to get to him to make sure he is alright.

"Ah, here they are." Ryan said to himself as he watched the bullheads land, in the one in front of him he saw with his enhanced vision a blond haired girl with lilac eyes and a black haired girl with red tips and silver eyes through one of the windows before they darted out of view, most likely heading to the ramp that was now opening.

When the ramp fully opened many potential students were walking to the academy, some were looking at him while others just walked by, thinking he was a statue or a robot.

"Rude much." Ryan muttered quietly to himself as he heard a few rude comments toward him, especially the stupid carrot top.

"RYAN!" Two voices yelled before he was knocked out of his thoughts of throwing the carrot boy threw a couple of walls.

He looked and saw Ruby flying at him after she jumped along with Yang and both hugged him, tackle style.

He was pushed back a bit, but not much, he hugged them back as they had a strong grip on him.

"It's alright, we're back together again." Ryan said soothingly as he patted their backs gently as he sat on his knees to let them hug each other better.

A FEW MINUTES LATER

After an explosive meeting with a Schnee, a small talk with a girl with a black bow, and a blonde haired boy named Jaune Arc accompanying them as they made it to the auditorium and finished listening to Ozpin's speech and now they were getting ready to sleep.

"It's just like a big slumber party." Yang said as she laid back on her sleeping bag in her sleepwear next to Ruby's sleeping bag as she was writing on a paper.

"I don't think dad would approve of all the boys though." Ruby said as she looked at her sister before their attention was brought to Ryan, who was on the ground on the other side of Ruby, who growled in his sleep as his eyes and the lines connected to them faintly glowed red before he stopped growling and the glowing faded to black.

"Apparently neither does Ryan." Ruby said, she and Yang staring at his sleeping form with surprised looks.

"Aww thats so sweet of him." Yang cooed as she got up with her sleeping bag before picking Ruby, who just put the paper and pencil away, up along with her sleeping bag and set them down next to Ryan so they can sleep with him like they used to when they were kids.

But before they could, the two saw the girl With the bow and decided to speak with her.

NEXT DAY

Everyone was getting ready as they headed to the cliffs just outside of the Emerald Forest to start their initiation, many trying to calm their nerves while others pumped themselves up.

Ryan saw one of his lockers next to Ozpin and Glynda, he looked closer and noticed it was the combination weapon locker. He looked closer and saw part of a white cloak behind the locker, making him realize that his mom must have brought it out to see the weapon in action.

"Now, prepare yourselves and good luck." Ozpin said as he took a sip of his hot chocolate while the potential students started getting launched into the air toward the forest.

Ryan prepared himself as he saw Yang pull aviator sunglasses from her cleavage and put them on as he shot a thumbs up toward him and Ruby before she was launched, hollering in excitement the whole way.

Ruby was sent next as she braced herself and went flying, a few seconds before Ryan heard her yell.

"BIRDY NO!" Ruby yelled in the distance, making Ryan chuckle as he saw Ozpin grin a little and the corners of Glynda's lips twitch upwards a bit, showing she was resisting a grin or a smile while he just saw Summer come out from behind the locker.

He gave them a thumbs up after he heard Jaune get launched, then he got launched, yelling something, but it was funny if Summer suddenly doubled over laughing while Ozpin grins more along with Glynda showing a smile of amusement.

"This is going to be an interesting year." Ozpin said as a crow and a raven fly over them.
