As I find myself floating away from Enterprise. I look up and see a multicolored stream of light. She's still near-I can feel her- But there's someplace else for Enterprise to be. It seems as though I should be going somewhere else, too. inside my world.
There's no solid ground upon which to walk, So I make do with flying or at least trying to. I pass through streams of light and water, some like thin ribbons. other so broad and deep I could have mistaken them for rivers. Still, I continue with single-minded purpose. In here somewhere is Enterprise... and I won't leave until we finish our talk.
It doesn't take long to find Enterprise so much as she finds her way to me. I meet her in a place where the rivers of light and water are few, and where the background has turned into that of a purple horizon. with vector-like grids at the top and bottom that remind me of Neptunia.
Enterprise's waiting for me, though. For some reason. I suspect it might have to do with what was going on outside.
"Bogue." Enterprise says, and its her voice which lets me know its the real her... The grey ghost, There wouldn't be any other way:Enterprise's eyes are empty. but she's here, and I can feel her like the radiance of a star. I feel all the things I wanted to say to her try to go out at once, making me seize up. "Ever since you became what they called you... a Mage, I've been watching over you. You have no idea how happy I am for you."
I shook my head in surprise, my breath locking up along with everything else that I wanted to say to her. A memory comes to mind, and that is Enterprise picking me up during a battle and a voice that sounded a bit like Belfast... but during that time had turned out to be the Grey Ghost. "Y..You were in that cruiser, weren't you? You were aware. but like.. Almost as if you were in a dream-like state."
"Yes. The whole time, It felt like she had me trapped within a illusion. You managed to reach me, but at the cost of..."
"I am sorry..." I muttered.
"It's alright, Bogue. You've found me. We can catch up on everything-"
"No... Enterprise.. A world without you... is not worth living in at all."
"W-Wha!?" Enterprise stammered back in surprise.
"...Enterprise.. i am sorry I treated you that way... I am sorry I just never opened up to you much... But i did care. I really do love you."
"Y-You don't have to. When you were going though the same hardships as I-" She was able to finish but I cut her off as I shook my head.
"C-Can't we stay here? at all? I am not sure we can return once we leave..." I talk back, not caring about what was going on right now with my real body. I just wanted this moment.
"Bogue... If you stay here, Yorktown... Hornet. Akagi.. Kaga.. Shikikan... They will all... vanish."
"I DON'T CARE!" I scream, the force of my voice resonates throughout this strange mindscape. "If i can be with you. I don't care!"
"Bogue... Be happy, That's all I ever wanted for you.. as long as I am happy. I think i can be at peace..." Again I didn't want to hear that as my expression begins to crack.
"Enterprise! I don't want to-!"
"I don't want to lose you either, Bogue. But if this goes on, The world will be..." The grey ghost looks with a sad expression as I saw flashes of the sunk shipgirls all being lofted into the portal... Of the Seas being covered by a storm of energy and a massive Belkan spear symbol where I was...
I freak out as tears begin to glitter in my eyes as I hug her softly. "C-Can't you come with me? Back to the outside world?"
"I..." Enterprise isn't sure what to say as she thinks. "...As long as you are happy.. I am happy... Maybe in the future though, I can't imagine we stay together once they separate you and me."
"Enterprise..." I groan out unhappily.
I tighten my hold on her chest and from it comes a warmth, racing up the gem on my necklace and throughout my body. "Just.. remember that I love you most of all. take care out there, My baseballer carrier."
"Yes..." I mumbled. "I love you too... E..."
If Enterprise had said anything else, it's lost to me. A wind is rushing again through me;I am being lifted through that tunnel of multicolored light and streams of rainbow energy as I feel my body taking shape. The world again goes white, but this time its welcoming. Ushering me through into whatever world was saved from my unintentional apocalypse.
Magical Third Impact.
In the real world, the streams of energy from me faded away, The mix of Magic and Memory cube energy going back into my machinery. Then I held up a hand and I stabbed my necklace before crushing the silver jewel seed gem and the other memory cube. The rivers of the Heavens fading from view as I began to fall down and the portal above me began to close. The Midchildian magic circle losing its coherence and the floating ground and shipgirls all now crashing down as my machinery returned to normal.
Vestal looked on in shock. "She.. She stopped her own ascension?"
"Readings are coming back now... Her Resonance rate is rapidly dropping!" York said, looking at the shocked repair ship.
"We need to go help her!" Hood said as she commanded the fleet to head to where the Light carrier had fallen to the water.
As they arrived at where Bogue had fell to, The fleet looked on in shock and surprise. For there were three girls. A Hurt-looking Bogue who was still transformed and still had her darkened clothes and gray headband before turning into the Radiant girl. A injured Enterprise holding her head close to her chest as nearby was the Siren cruiser who was out cold.
However, they were soon alerted to a new enemy.. But one that wasn't attacking. It was another.. Siren cruiser. but in the same clothes and outfit that indicated she was the same type that had wrecked havoc on the Azur lane fleet just recently?
"I see.." The pink-haired Des Moines-class cruiser said. A stoic but worried expression on her face as she wore a black and golden minidress with a under suit, a black and white two-piece jacker over that complete with a white balmoral. Wings on her head, chest and legs. "So she broke her limits and would have became the next stage in evolution for all Shipgirls. Transcending her limits to become a near divine-like being, Weaving together the Collective consuciousness of all shipgirls. Humanity and us along with Magic to transform herself into a Super shipgirl of pure light. All fuelled by her drive to bring back the one she considered precious most."
Looking at the Azur lane shipgirls around her, guns warily aimed and ready to fire as she floated over the bodies of Bogue. Enterprise and Mitsue. She closed her eyes and placed a hand to her chest as if she was praying. She may have stopped her Awakening while she was in the midst of preparing to control Bogue's energy to make the Mirror seas a reality... but things were still going well, Comically too much. But she was not a stupid Pseudo-magical-girl. She would not assume the next backup phases would now go as well.
"In the end you had the choice of staying with Enterprise forever... Yet you decided to not do so. How Ironic... That I... the Second Pseudo Mahou Shoujo Siren girl rely on the First one." She commented with a soft smile as the Azur lane girls tried to understand what she was talking about. "Even so... Bogue.. I am sure we will meet, And i will find a way to save you and preserve.. The world."
