Hi guys! So you should kinda know that most of the time I don't have inspiration. It's mostly all in my head and it's hard for me to put it on paper.
In the mean while, I have come up with another story line. A more happy storyline. That will maybe be 4/5 chapters. I'm writing that as the same time as this story. Please let me know if I should put it up on here too.
So now on to the story, sorry again for the long wait!
Eli was driving in his dad car to search for Clare. He know he was speeding but he didn't care. As long as he had Clare in his arms again. He saw a familiar car in the parking lot. He drove as fast as he could to the car. He saw Clare sitting in driver seat. Once he got out of the car he walked straight up to her door, opening it and grabbed her as soon as he could. She already put down here sleeves to hide the cuts she just made. When she felt Eli's arms around her she started to cry. "Shh..." Eli said. "It's going to be okay."
Clare wanted to scream at him, but instead the tears keep falling from her face. "How are things going to be fine? Everybody is just moving on, excited to go to university and I'm just worrying about everything."
Eli let go of the hug and puts his hands on her cheeks. He didn't know what to say so he puts his lips on her. "Let's go home and try to relax okay? And I know you don't want to talk, so let's not talk but just relax." He said while when wiped away the tears. She nodded and started the car. Eli driving up front and Clare following him.
Once the got home they went to her bedroom, put on a movie and just cuddle. Clare was trying to hide the cuts she just made. Hoping Eli would never see them. Slowly she felt her eyelids getting heavy. Eli looked at her while her head was lying on his chest. Why did she has to feel like this? What can I do to make her feel better? He thought.
Clare woke up from Eli his movement. The tv was off and she saw that sleep had got the best of Eli. She moved his arm slowly and walked up to the bathroom, locking the door behind her. She stared at the mirror, seeing herself with greasy hair and dark rings under her eyes. 'What are you doing to yourself Clare. You should me strong, not weak. And even not weak enough to cut yourself. Go and take care of yourself and be happy again. You can do this, you have to do this!' She talked to herself while still staring at her reflection. She looked at the time and saw it was already 11pm. She decided to get changed into her pyjamas, but then remembered the cuts on her arm. Since Eli was sleeping over tonight, she needed something to hide it. She picked up this sweater and put it on, even tough it was almost summer she would make up an excuses tomorrow that she was cold. She walked back to her bedroom and closed the door. She stopped for a moment and looked at Eli sleeping in her bed. She smiled a little. That's still the person you love Clare. At least try to be happy for him so he doesn't see you sad all of the time. She hoped in to bed next to him and give him a little peck on the cheek. She soon felt arms holding her and pulling in even closer. She smiled a little while closing her eyes and try to go to sleep.
The next morning
Clare woke up in an empty bed. She looked over to her alarm clock. It was already 10 am. She quickly got up, putting on a pair of jeans and a sweater vest. She hurried down the stairs and someone standing in the kitchen. "Why the hell didn't you woke me! I'm gonna be so late!" She screamed at the person not even worrying about who it was.
"Calm down. I already called school that you were sick. I thought you need a day off." She looked over and saw Eli standing there.
"Are you stupid? I have my exams next week. I need ever lesson, Eli!" She turned around, crabbing an apple from the table, and walked quickly near the door. Eli grabbed her by the wrist, she hist in pain and sook him off.
"Clare, I know you need it, but I think you need a day off even more. Just stay home, you need it." There eyes met and Clare knew Eli was right. She needed a day off, just to relax and keep everything on track. One day off couldn't hurt, right?
