A/n ok I have seen the review and just gonna clear things up Alec and Bella are soulmates. They will be together at some point in the story. I won't be mentioning them until later on in the timeline. Also you will see more of Crystal background as times go on.

Warning there is abuse in this, if you feel uncomfortable reading it you can always skip the flashbacks.

~ Crystal PoV ~

The boardwalk is much more lively at night than in the day but I will be honest why is so hard to find legal jobs?! There was so many unique styles and the boardwalk was a lot of fun.

'I wonder how Bella getting along with Alec?'

I miss them but the thought of being around him is terrifying.

- flashback -

"For the last time Edward, I am not gonna marry you! Ever, you hear me!" I hissed out through my teethe.

"Crystal love, you have no choice in the matter. You are my mate and that final, I do not want to hear it. Now let's go tell your father the good news!" He said scowling at my attitude towards him.

Who the hell does he think he is? "No! I have had it Edward. We are not together, I am not your mate and I ammost definitely not marrying you! I would rather marry a rock than marry you!" I stood my ground against him which would make my dad very proud of me.

* smack *

I was shocked that he actually physically hurt me. I felt tears come to my eyes in pain and him grabbing my arm harshly, dragging me to his car. I never been more terrified than when James tried to kill me and Bella.

- End of Flashback -

I was brought of my mind when I bumped into someone.

"Oh I'm so, so sorry I wasn't looking where I was going! Are you alright?" God this is embarrassing! The person I bumped into was a boy with long curly blonde hair, wearing jacket with patches. It was a very interesting jacket if you ask me.

"I'm alright sweetheart, you must be new around here, move or vacation?" The guy asked grinning at me. 'Damn he hot and cute!'

"Um, yeah... I just came to town today. I just moved here...I'm Crystal by the way." I said quietly, this is awkward. 'I'm gonna be alone for the rest of my life...'

"Well cutie, I'm Marko. Do you want to come hang with me and my brothers?" He asked. He looked so hopeful and innocent that I couldn't say no to him. "Okay, sure" I spoke nodding my head with a slight smile.

He lead me to where his brothers where hanging out but damn those bikes look awesome! The three guys looked over towards us.

"Marko who's this?" The platinum blonde said sitting on his bike leaning forward a bit. He seemed to be the leader of the group, I think.

"Guys this is Crystal! Isn't she a cutie! Crystal this is David, Paul, Dwayne and that Laddie. We are known as The Lost Boys around here. David our leader." Marko introduced pointing to each of his brothers.

"Hi" I said waving a little nervously. I flinched when Paul decided to pick me up, which brought back unwanted memories.

"Sorry I got to go. It was nice meeting you all" I said quickly before speed walking it back to the hotel I'm staying at.

~ Marko PoV ~

"I wish she could of stayed longer..." I pouted a bit sadly that she was gone. I finally find my mate and I only get a few minutes with her.

"Hate to say this but did you all notice that she flinched when Paul touched her or this case picked her up?" Dwayne spoke from his bike. He only speaks when needed to.

I looked towards David to see what he said about it. I noticed to but I know Paul would never hurt her. But it had me worried.

"I think someone has hurt her either physically or emotionally. Maybe both. Find out Marko, she your mate but gain her trust first and let her open up to you." David said "I don't want another Star around!"

The rest of the night I messed around with Paul like usual but I was worried about Crystal and it made me angry thinking that someone might be hurting her.

"I don't know what to tell you man. But I really want... need to find out what happened so I can kill the guy or something" I spoke irritated at everything.

"Don't bring her in this world Marko, if you really like her then you would leave her human! And not let her become a monster like you." Star butted in. 'Seriously! When will Max kill this bitch! No one here likes her'

"Star" David spoke warningly towards Star who coward away frightened. What a wimp.

"Dude once you find out then you can go all out ripping the guy to shreds! Heck we will all join in if it more than one! And maybe I can get her high as a kite!" Paul spoke listening to his music with a smile, I felt myself growling at him for once.

"Like hell am I gonna let you get her high as a kite! You pothead" I growled out he can get his own mate and make them high as a kite but he never doing that to her!

"I resent that!" Paul spoke insulted, I smirked. The sun eventually started to come up forcing us to go sleep for the day. One thing for sure once I find out what happened to her, the fucker is gonna pay!
