(part 2)

Irving's long work week, even though he worked from his

computer at home... was too long. And very, very... boring.

He was so bored (and quite lonely) that he almost texted his ex-wife.

They were still 'friendly' - in a fashion - but the romance was gone... forever.

He soon programmed a Sci-Fi like dream, with the help of the rented 'I-god' device.

How it worked was still a mystery... but how it did it all was not that important after all.

That it indeed did function, in an almost magical way, made the high cost well worth the effort!

Like a true life-like adventure, as from a Philip K. Dick story/novel... Irving entered a wild & wooly Dream World.

He met aliens... Robots... Androids... Odd creatures like no Sci-Fi movie had ever illustrated. They all were... so Real!

So seemingly 'Real' that after the adventure had ended (and he soon awoke, from the 'Dream'), he noticed a tiny scar on

his right hand, just an inch past his index finger knuckle, on the backside of the hand. It was a triangle shape... reddish. Yikes!

A week later... The next weekend off of work... He finally tried that 'Wedding Night' scenario, in a new Dream. His real nuptials were

just humdrum, as he always had recalled it. He had let his wife decide what they'd try out. Of course, they had sex a few times before

they decided on marriage... But it was very 'Vanilla' in the early days... And, sadly, had never gotten any more interesting later on. Nope...

(To be continued? Oh, yes!)
