Chapter 2: Sacred Oaths

"Uah!" Izuku ducked, avoiding a Jack-o'-lantern lunging to his head, but that bought time for the other two of the identical Shadows to cast their spells, "Agi!" Fireballs flew at Izuku, and he didn't have time to dodge now. Bracing himself for the pain, Izuku was surprised when a mirrored barrier appeared, sending the flames back to the aggressors.

"What?" Izuku didn't know exactly what happened, but he took the chance, while the Jack-o'-lanterns weren't too bothered by the flames, they were still surprised. Izuku slashed the pumpkin head of the first one, making it burst in sludge. Using the remains as ink, Izuku cast his spell, "Sukukaja!".

Speeding up he batted his other two enemies to the wall, ending the fight as they hit it and burst into the black substance that made them.

"What was that?" He asked his Persona.

Omoikane was quick to answer, "Shadows and Personas have their strengths and weaknesses. While some were Resistant, or can even Null certain elements, some can Repel them or Absorb it to heal themselves."

Izuku took one notebook from his backpack, entitled Shadow Analyses for the Present, Izuku noted it down, "So you can Repel Fire, anything else?" He opened Omoikane's page and started to write his resistances.

"I am also Resistant to Psychic attacks, and as Bless is my element, I can Absorb it."

"It seems pretty self-explanatory, but just to make sure, Resistant means you take less damage from an element, and Null that you are completely immune to it, right?"

"Precisely, beware, even if only Resistant, the damage suffered is tremendously reduced."

"Okay, any Weakness that I should be careful of?"

"Yes, Curse is my bane, be mindful of those who wield it."

Izuku made a warning on his entry and put the notebook on his backpack, "Okay, let's go."

Izuku headed out of the room he was in. Until now the Anomaly was a maze of hallways and empty rooms, and while some side ones led to dead ends, the path seemed pretty straightforward.

"Remind me to bring a watch next time, I don't have any idea of how long we've been here." The green light coming from every window didn't help Izuku's sense of time.

"Yes, I believe that keeping track of time will be useful if the Anomalies end being too extensive to traverse in one try."

For now, it should still be safe, he was sure that he was only there for a couple of hours, so he still had time to explore it. In the worst case, he would come back tomorrow, knowing his way around would drastically cut the time he needed to reach his current position.

Reaching a fork in the road, he saw that one door was much the same like all the others, a simple wooden door with a silver knob, but the other one was different, "Is that my bedroom door?" The All Might themed name plate in the door would make him believe that yes, that led to his bedroom, but being inside an Anomaly made him cautious of it.

"Yes, the Distortion is weaker here, must be a Weak Point on the Anomaly, consider it as a Safe Zone, in merity of your last analogies." Omoikane's assessment made Izuku relax.

He was thankful if that was the case, a chance to sit down and rest a little sounded heavenly to his tired body. Entering the bedroom, he saw it was a perfect copy of his real one, which meant that it was covered up and down with hero merch, especially All Might's, except for the toxic green light entering through the window, painting the room and its contents in a green hue.

Sitting on his bed, Izuku opened his backpack and fished out a granola bar and box of juice. Things worked differently in the Metaverse, as the point between Reality and the Sea of Souls, it was a middle point where the rules of the two sides combined, here a simple snack had an Effect, metaphysical propriety that affected its user, turning something that could stop hunger into something that would Nurture, helping heal Izuku body as few quirks could.

"This place isn't actually that bad," Izuku commented absentmindedly, what surprised him was the answer he got, or more specifically, from who he got.

"Yeah, the number of hero things you have here has some strange charm to it." Izuku turned his head aside to see Angela looking at his posters. The boy gave an embarrassed yelp, causing Angela to let out a startled one. Having a girl in his room made Izuku blush to dangerous shades of red, the fact it wasn't really his room notwithstanding.

"What are you doing here!" He said while trying to cover his collection of hero memorabilia with his body.

"I came here to help! I wasn't stalking you! I swear!" Angela entered an embarrassed panic of her own, which caused them to waste some minutes with excuses while being incapable of looking each other in the eye. After finally recovering from their little episode, Angela explained the reason for her visit, "I came here to take you to the Velvet Room, there are some things you can do now that you have gained more Power."

"Oh, okay, how are we getting there?"

"Just have to go through that door," Angela said pointing to the oak door with a velvet blue stained glass in its upper part that wasn't there a second ago.

"Where did that come from?!" Izuku asked while rubbing his eyes to make sure they were working.

"Don't worry about it, let's go!" Angela dragged Izuku through to the book-filled Velvet Room.

"Hero, it's good to see you again, and so soon at that," Igor said while motioning for Izuku to take a seat.

Back on the couch, he occupied the night before, Izuku went straight to the point, "You wanted to see me?"

"Yes, with your dive into an Anomaly, you started to accumulate Feats and Power, now you are ready to wield the greatest weapon of the Wild Card," Igor said joyfully, Izuku's quick progress and hard work mentality led him to be ahead of most Wild Cards before him.

"What is it?" Izuku asked expectantly, anything that could help him deal with the Anomaly in his house was welcome.

Angela hopped in front of him and excitedly answered his question, "You have the ability to wield multiple Personas! As the Wild Card, you are not bound by the rules of the World, so while normal people can only have one, you can have as many as you can handle!" The sheer possibilities and Angela's enthusiasm were enough to hype Izuku too. If he could find a Persona to cover every element, he could always have the upper hand in any battle.

"That is right, now Angela, why don't you guide the Hero in his first Summoning," Igor said while indicating a corner of the room that had a table, writing materials, and an open side space.

"Yes sir!" She once again dragged Izuku over and sat him on the table. She ran to one of the bookshelves and grabbed a book, almost tripping on the way back from her quick strides, she recovered with an embarrassed laugh before depositing the book on the table.

Izuku stared at the book for a long second before taking a deep breath and opening it, revealing… A blank book.

Angela giggled at Izuku deadpan at the empty pages, "You have to fill it silly! When you enter in contact with a Legend, by battling a Shadow that assimilated it or in some other way, it too becomes marked in your Record. You can use this echo to transcribe it to an empty Record and then assimilate it on your own, got it?" She ended up unsure of her explanation, but Izuku understood what he had to do.

"Okay, any suggestion of what one to do first?" Izuku asked her.

She pondered for a second, tilting her head and pacing, before snapping her fingers, "Why not a Pixie? It has some basic healing capabilities, which will help you in a tough spot, after that you can try a Jack-o'-lantern, as it has some offensive abilities, and you have enough Power to summon both, which covers the problem with you not being able to do it with your original Persona! Not that it is a problem!"

Before Angela could start a wave of apologies, Izuku nodded, "Okay, Pixie and Jack-o'-lantern."

He summoned his Record, the notebook appearing in a burst of blue flames on his hands, searching among the pages that described every action and thought of his, but never seemed to run out of pages, Izuku found the entries of his battle against the Shadows. First was his duel with the Pixie, it had a detailed sketch of the Shadow and an in-depth description of it. Izuku picked up a pen and the blank book and started writing. He kept going, entering the state of mind that let him break a hero fight down and study every single aspect of it, writing faster and faster, the Legend of the Pixie being transcribed, analyzed and Recorded. In a blink, Izuku filled the book, and made his own sketch on the last page,

"Wow, that was amazing! Now you just need to connect your Will to it and let your Rebellion ignite and bring it to life!" Angela had stars in her eyes, she was in awe at Izuku's ability to Record Legends, and being there to witness his first Persona Summoning also contributed to her excitement.

"Okay, here goes!" Izuku focused on the book in his hand and the feeling of his Rebellion. The pages started to fly and lit up in blue flames, they condensed in the middle of the open space beside him, taking form, "Hey Boss! Nice to meet you! Let's have lots of fun together!" The azure flames covered Pixie said in a bubbly voice while Angela and Izuku stared in amazement.

The Pixie then turned back into a storm of burning pages that fused with Izuku's Record. Picking it up, Izuku could feel that even if it hadn't changed physically, it was still… More.

"You did it!" Angela jumped up and brought Izuku in a hug, which made the boy develop an atomic blush. Then she realized what she was doing and released the boy, "N-not that I didn't believe you would!" She quickly tried to cover up.

"So! A Jack-o'-lantern now!" Izuku gave his own awkward contribution.

"Yes!"

After the same process, Izuku had one more Persona. Going back to Igor, he asked a question he had since the morning, "Can I ask you something? Why didn't I see the Anomaly in my house yesterday?"

Igor sighed, "Your powers were still settling, now you can see the manifestation of Anomalies freely."

"Then why did I enter one yesterday?" He asked, trying to puzzle the reason for the last day's events.

"Because they dragged you there, using your own Emotion to create an Anomaly in the hopes to end your Tale before you could end theirs," Igor said solemnly.

"Who are they?" Izuku's mind had already formulated various possibilities, but the weight behind Igor's words said that whoever they were, they were a lot worse than what he could come up with.

"They are the Enemy, they have ruled and trapped Humanity since the Dawn of the New Era. We have waited for the only one capable of opposing their tyranny. You, the Wild Card." Igor's words hit Izuku like a ton of bricks. The extent of the responsibility put on his shoulders almost overwhelmed him, but he refused to break.

He always said he would save everyone with a smile on his face, now it was time to see if he could live up to his words, "I will do it!" His outburst surprised the other two, "If I'm the only one who can, then that is what I'm going to do. All I ever wanted was to be a Hero and Save people. The World couldn't make me give up then, and I wouldn't do it now! I'll get stronger and Free Humanity from whoever the Enemy is!" His words echoed in the room, and beyond.

Feeling something stirring up in him, Izuku heard Angela's voice in his head, while in the empty wall with the tapestries, the leftmost started to glow.

You have acquired a new Oath.

With it Awakening the Fool Persona.

You have changed the Fate of a Life, turning Chains into Bonds that will become Power to attain Freedom.

With the voice and the light dying down, the once torn tapestry was now repaired and looking brand new.

It depicted a long-nosed man giving a book to a kneeling green figure.

"What?" Was all Izuku could say.

"My, my, it seems you always exceed my expectations!" Igor gave a surprised laugh, but who could judge him? The Hero had just shown him once again there was hope to Humanity, "You had just acquired an Oath, it is a Bond that connects you to one of the twenty-two Major Arcanas."

"Arcanas? Like those in tarot?" Izuku asked confused, he had a feeling it had a greater meaning, as everything in the metaphysical side of Existence normally had.

"Yes, they have the same meaning, however, while individuals had a connection to one Arcana, both their Real and Other Selves, they had a more special one to you." Igor pointed at the tapestries, "The Arcanas represent a journey, your journey as the Fool, to the World. While you used me as a conduit to create this Oath, it represents your Arcana."

Normally being called a fool would have hurt Izuku, but now he could understand what was behind the word, "Upright the Fool represents beginnings, innocence, spontaneity, and a free spirit, while reversed it means holding back, recklessness and risk-taking. The Fool is numbered 0, the number of unlimited potential, and so does not have a specific place in the sequence of the Tarot cards. The Fool can be placed either at the beginning of the Major Arcana or at the end. The Major Arcana is often considered the Fool's journey through life and as such, he is ever-present and therefore needs no number. That is why I'm the Fool, right? Because that is the Arcana of the Wild Card?" Izuku, by virtue of having an inexistent

social life, had time to study various subjects that caught his attention over the years, one of them was tarot, as it seemed like a way to see the future even without a quirk (and also because of an Tarot-themed hero that Izuku analyzed, but no one needed to know that), it was finally proving its worth now.

"Precisely. For every new Oath you forge, your connection with the other Arcanas will grow, and that will give you the Power to triumph against the World and Fate itself." Igor's words gave Izuku an idea of how he could progress forward, after all, he had a journey in front of him.

"How can I make new Oaths?" He asked.

"Unfortunately, it is not my place to say. Fret not, if you continue to surge past my expectations as you have, you will learn sooner rather than later." Izuku's cheeks reddened at the compliment, but he wouldn't disappoint. He now had people that believed in him, that counted on him, and he would not let their hopes be misplaced.

"Right, I'll make sure to go Plus Ultra and complete my journey!"

"We will help you every step of the way!" Angela too made her position known, Izuku nodded at her with a smile before standing up, "Well, I better get going, I have someone to save."

With some last goodbyes, Izuku exited the Velvet Room. The first thing he perceived was that there were more voices in his mind than what was considered normal, even for him.

"Woah! This place is cool!" The voice of Jack-o'-lantern sounded in his head.

"Yeah, all these hero things make it really colorful!" Pixie too gave her opinion of Izuku's room.

"Oh boy, I know my mind could never keep quiet, but things will get messy won't they?" Izuku weakly tried to joke, but he was silently dreading the idea of hearing multiple voices in his head.

"Worry not, I am still the ruler of the domain of your mind, and I will keep my word, you will not be plagued by inner chaos." Omoikane's commanding voice ceased the other Personas chatter, "If you do not have something helpful to say, then remain silent!"

"Okay!"

"Sure thing Boss!"

Pixie and Jack-o'-lantern quickly accented to Omoikane as the Leading Persona. Izuku had the mental image of two children being scolded by a teacher for misbehaving, which made him chuckle, "Okay, let's go!"

Exiting his bedroom counterpart, Izuku marched to the other door with renewed energy, confident he could now see this Anomaly till its end. Opening the door, he saw a lone Shadow occupying the room, it was a Bicorn, one of the Shadows Izuku had more difficulty facing.

"Hey Boss! Choose me! I can make that horse light up like a Christmas tree!" Pixie's overactive voice said. Izuku was curious what a Persona was capable of when Manifested, and what better test than his first Summoned Persona. His Record appearing in his hands in a burst of flames, Izuku let his Rebellion flare and bring his chosen Persona into being, "Pixie!"

The burning pages started to fly, from the blue fire an spectral figure Manifested. Pixie gave a euphoric laugh, "Let's have some fun!" Izuku felt himself being washed by a wave of joy coming from the fairy, giving in to the excitement he pointed at the Bicorn, who now had already noticed their presence and was coming straight at them, intending to trample his enemies.

"Zio!" They shouted in unison, Pixie casting a bolt of electricity right in the Bicorns head. The Shadow cried out in pain before crashing on the ground, "It's weak to Electric attacks!" Izuku noticed the spasms of the Shadow were too exaggerated for that amount of electricity. The Bicorn was almost limp on the ground, which gave Izuku time to follow up his offensive, "Pixie, one more time!"

The fae laughed while spiking an orb of lightning in the downed horse, which disintegrated into black particles after the spell connected.

Pixie high-fived a startled Izuku before disappearing in azure ambers, the sound of the other Personas congratulating her sounding in his mind, but the boy could only focus on how easy the battle was. Manifesting Pixie and having her use her spells drained him a little, he felt like someone had directly taken some of his energy from within him, but compared to how difficult the battle would be without exploiting the Bicorn's weakness, it was more than worth it.

If this was how he could progress through Anomalies with the help of his Personas, then he had to get better with his powers of the Wild Card fast. He was sure there would be countless Anomalies plaguing Humanity, and the faster he got rid of them, he could save more than people's lives, he could save their hearts.

With his Will to better himself shining brighter than ever before, Izuku started to march ahead, he would Save his mother today, Humanity tomorrow, that was his Oath to himself.

"That's the last one." Izuku stood in front of the only door left in the Anomaly, his mother's bedroom door. Izuku could recognize this door anywhere, the knob a little bent from when he was little and perched himself in it, the washed down drawing he did when he spread his "art" through the house walls, the small indentation when he ran into the door playing hero with his mom. It was all there, that's why the sobbing coming from the other side made his heart clench.

His logical side said that couldn't be his mom, she was safe and sound in Reality, but his emotional side shouted to him to enter there and comfort his mother, his body listened to it before his mind could make a decision.

Barging into the dark bedroom, Izuku saw Inko kneeled on the ground, crying while repeating "I'm sorry." Over and over.

The boy approached his mother, "Mom, what's wrong?" He said softly.

The woman turned her face to him, instead of the soft green that always welcomed him, two glowing yellow eyes, still full of love, but also so much sadness, gazed at him. She slowly stood, "Izuku? Izuku I'm so sorry!" She threw herself at him, hugging the boy close, "I'm sorry I couldn't give you a quirk, I'm sorry I didn't say what you needed to hear, I'm so sorry!" She sobbed into his chest.

Izuku slowly hugged his mother back, whispering to her while spilling tears himself, "It's okay mom, you don't have to cry, I'm over it. You make up for it by taking care of me all these years. Without you, I wouldn't be here now." She stopped her sobs at this point, just holding her son while silently letting tears fall, "You stayed with me even when everyone left, you loved me when everyone hated me. Don't cry mom, you deserve to smile after everything that you did." Izuku's voice was cracking with all the Emotion in it, he finally put into words what he always wanted to say to his mom.

His mother hugged him tighter before pulling back. Her golden eyes looked in his emerald ones, even while tears fell, she had a smile only a mother could give her son, "I love you too Izuku, and I promise to support you now, I won't make the same mistake again."

He smiled too, but before he could respond, slow claps started to sound, "Yes, lie to the kid. First, you can't see he is worthless, now you're going to feed his deluded fantasies?" An annoyed voice came from the far side of the now expanded room. Izuku whipped his head around to the voice's direction, only for his gaze to lock onto the yellow eyes of the man that gave up and abandoned him before anyone else.

Midoriya Hisashi looked exactly like Izuku remembered from all those years ago, the snarl of disgust that he showed when Izuku was diagnosed quirkless being perfectly copied by the Shadow. Izuku didn't feel anything from seeing the man, but his words made the flames of his Heart turn into an inferno.

"Shut up!" He shouted at the Shadow while standing, putting himself between the man and his mother, "You don't have the right to talk to her or me! Especially like that, the only one worthless here is you!" With the fire of his Rebellion burning, Izuku's Record appeared in his hand in a pillar of azure flames.

"You think you can speak to me like that boy?! Your own father?!" The Shadow shouted in rage, its form starting to twist.

"You are no one to me!" Izuku glared, pulling Gakushu, he pointed the spear to his enemy, "You've made mom suffer for long enough! I'll Free her from you here, then make her forget you out in Reality, I'll save her from the worthless man that left his family!" Izuku spat every word with conviction, he would free his family from the Shadow that loomed over them!

The Shadow exploded in black sludge before taking form, a crimson medieval knight with a yellow furred cape, his helm having long horns, in his hand a silvery spear. He was riding a black horse with a white mane. Omoikane voice sounded in his mind, a threatening edge to it, his Other Self as enraged as Izuku.

"Eligor, also known as Eligos, Abigor or the Great Duke of Hades, is the 15th demonic spirit of the Ars Goetia and a fallen angel. He governs over 60 legions of spirits. He is a great duke and appears in the form of a goodly knight carrying a lance, pennon, and a scepter. Alternatively, he is depicted as a ghostly specter, sometimes riding a semi-skeletal horse or the Steed of Abigor. That is a minion of Hell itself and was a gift from Beelzebub. It was created from the remains of one of the horses of the Garden of Eden. This Shadow has more Power than the original Legend, but that matters not, we will destroy this filth by its transgression!"

Izuku knew he could not defeat the horseman towering over him, not with the amount of Power it held, but his Other Self had a chance. Letting the flames of his heart feed his Record, Izuku called his Persona, "Omoikane!" The feeling of having every drop of energy drained out of him made Izuku stumble, barely holding himself up with his spear, Izuku held his ground while his Persona Materialized behind him.

"I will squash you like the vermin you are!" Eligor's war cry was accompanied by a thrust of his spear.

Omoikane dexterously opened his notebook with a flick of his wrist, capturing the enemy weapon by closing the book on the blade, he twisted it to the side. The Shadow lost his balance, which permitted Omoikane to strike. Thrusting Chishiki, the Persona pierced the shoulder of the hell knight, drawing black lifeblood.

Eligor counterattacked, a tackle from his horse sending Omoikane skidding back, his metallic sandals producing sparks.

Izuku hissed in pain, the connection with his Persona making him share in the suffering, what Inko's Shadow noticed, "Izuku, stop! You'll get hurt!"

"So what?" He asked her with a smile, "I'll get hurt a bunch of times in life, but that won't stop me from living it the way I want!" Izuku's determination showed in his voice, he once again commanded his Other Self to fight.

Inko's Shadow starred as her son fought for his beliefs with a bright smile on his face even while pain wracked his body. The mother being reminded of her earlier words, she would support her son and was not some old stain from their past that would make her watch while he struggled. With her golden eyes shining like the sun, the Shadow of Inko started to form, the mother taking arms to protect her child.

Izuku looked back after the flash of light he saw, his eyes widening at what he saw. Where once stood the kind woman he knew his whole life, a towering figure stood, a red-skinned amazon in a steel-colored armored dress, skulls hanging from ropes giving her a deadly visage, as much as the scimitars in the hands of every one of her six arms.

"I will not let you hurt my son!" The warrior's shout was followed by a magenta-colored wave of Psychic energy. While Izuku and Omoikane felt only a calming and comforting feeling wash over them, to the Eligor it seemed as every synapse of his body was on fire.

The horseman's cry of pain was cut short by the slashes that rained on him, the six-armed Shadow tearing the Eligor apart with brutal fury.

Izuku watched in awe, but his face grew pale when the Shadow turned to him and Omoikane. In a blink, he felt both his Selves being squished by six powerful arms, "My son! Are you hurt?!" Izuku felt a massive relief, his mom was her caring self didn't matter the form.

Omoikane gave a disbelieving chuckle, "Kali, the Hindu goddess associated with death, time, and destruction. Who could imagine our kind mother had such an imposing side to her?" The Persona said while their mother Shadow fussed over both with her six arms.

"Mom, I'm fine!" Izuku groaned, "I just hope you are as well. I cleared this place, so you, in Reality, will stop worrying too much, right?"

The soft smile was a contrast to the woman's new appearance, "I am your mother, it is my duty to be concerned for your wellbeing. However, I will not let it stop me to support you any longer, I will make sure my Real Self knows it as well." With a flash of light, Izuku was now alone with his Persona.

"She returned to her Real Self, now we better follow, this Anomaly will start to fall apart soon." Omoikane returned to Izuku. Not a second later, the room started to shake, the walls cracking, letting the fading green light enter the room.

Izuku quickly focused on his Record and made his escape, leaving the Anomaly behind, letting it and the painful Emotions contained within disappear into oblivion.

Izuku stumbled back into Reality. The midday sun shining through the window of his mother's bedroom, he must have stayed inside the Anomaly for at least four hours.

Heaving a sigh of relief, Izuku let his body relax. He had survived, no, he'd done more than that, he'd won. Exiting the room, Izuku left his backpack on his bed before walking into the living room, where he confirmed his success. No sign of the Anomaly remained. The feeling of achievement, of helping someone, someone important to him, made Izuku smile like the sun. The heavenly smell of his mother cooking reached him then and seemed to embrace him in a warm blanket, a well-deserved respite after his adventure on the other side.

"Hey, mom! What's the menu for today?"

She turned to him, her green eyes seemed clearer and she now had a tone of confidence in her voice, "I'm making katsudon, after everything that happened yesterday, you deserve something special." The smile he gave her could melt a glacier.

Izuku set the table and the small family of two had a pleasant meal, now without the weight of the past on their hearts. After Izuku devoured his third serving (he was a growing boy that had just spent the last hours fighting fantastic beings, he had the right to eat his fill), he helped his mother wash the dishes.

They worked in comfortable silence, a peaceful atmosphere settling in the small apartment. The feeling of safety was what gave Inko the courage to start speaking, "Izuku, we have to talk."

Izuku blinked and looked at her, his mind snapping back into focus from its haze, he could feel his Personas in the edge of his perception also paying attention, "What about?"

"I'm proud of you, what you did during that villain attack was dangerous, but it was the right thing, doesn't matter what others say." She stopped the mechanical movements of washing plates and gave her son her full attention, "I know you want to be a hero, and I didn't support you, but that changes now." Izuku quietly listened, he knew his mother needed to say that to him, for both of their sakes.

Inko held her son's shoulders, looked him in the eyes, and said the words she wanted to say years ago, "Izuku, you can be a hero."

The effect was instantaneous, a tidal wave of so much emotion broke through the last of their deeply rooted regrets. Izuku pulled his mom in a hug and they both let their tears fall freely, "Thanks mom, I'll make you proud, I'll be the best Hero I can be." He whispered to her, his voice cracking from all the feelings contained in it.

"I know you will, and I'll help you every step of the way." With those words sounding in the small home, the World slowed to a stop, the melodious voice of Angela filling the soundless void.

You have acquired a new Oath.

With it Awakening the Empress Persona.

You have changed the Fate of a Life, turning Chains into Bonds that will become Power to attain Freedom.

The World slowly started to move again. Izuku pulled away from his mother's embrace and gave her a wet smile that contained so much happiness that betrayed the waterworks falling from his emerald eyes.

After finishing with the dishes, and almost flooding the apartment again, Izuku walked to his room, set his backpack on the floor, and crashed on his bed face first, "I knew this day would be tiring when I saw the hole in the laws of physics in the living room, but not that it would be both physically and emotionally tiring." He groaned in his pillow.

His Personas laughed at the boy's misery, "C'mon Boss! It wasn't that bad!" Pixie giggling and Jack-o'-lantern full blow laughter only made Izuku groan more. Omoikane also chuckled, but his focus was on something else, "You formed another Oath, mother being the Empress does not surprise me."

"Yeah, I'll make sure to fulfill it," Izuku said with a determined voice. The Bond with his mom and her Arcana felt like a string connected to his heart, it gave a warmth that felt like her loving and encouraging words.

That feeling and Izuku's exhaustion were fast to pull the boy into a peaceful slumber.

"Izuku!" The sensation of being shaken awake made Izuku jump. Looking around, he saw he was back in the Velvet Room, Angela was at his side with a smile that made Izuku's still rebooting brain comment, 'Her name fits her really well, she looks like an angel when she smiles like that.' His mind cleared and he blushed up a storm.

The attendant didn't seem to notice, "Izuku look!" She turned him around, her excitement making her forget her reservations and basically manhandle the boy.

He was greeted with the tapestries wall once more, but one thing was different. The fourth tapestry from left to right was repaired, it depicted a woman sitting on a throne of flowers in a green valley. The connection with his mother appeared in the forefront of his mind, a smile spread on his face.

"It's perfect, I'm sure mom would like it." He said while turning to Angela, the two smiled at each other for a moment, before they realized what they were doing and snapped their heads in opposite directions, both blushing a bright red.

Igor chuckled, getting their attention, "You now have another Oath, Hero. It is still weak, but with time it will grow, gaining Power as the Bond between you and The Empress grows."

Izuku nodded before looking at the tapestries one more time, he still had a long journey ahead of him, but that only made his smile grow.

He would see it to the end.
