Goku floats Maria down to a small shack in a woods, he then puts Maria down before Maria starts asking questions.
"You can fly?" "That must be one powerful semblance!" says Maria smiling at Goku who look are her confusedly.
"Semblance?" "Oh no, that wasn't my semblance." says Goku.
Maria looks at Goku likes he's grown two heads.
"It isn't?" "Is it magic then?" says Maria, who only learned of magic through her father.
"Nope, I manipulate my Ki to fly." says Goku.
"Ki?" "What's that?"
Goku smiles before explaining, "Ki is the energy that allows us to do our daily tasks." "It's also called Life Energy."
"Hold on wouldn't you die if you'd use it like that?" says Maria, as Goku shakes his head.
"No if you're trained right, then that won't happen to you." says Goku before leading Maria into the house.
"I'm going to teach you, my grand daughter...how to use Ki." says Goku flicking on a light.
"Wait, really?!" says Maria as her eyes sparkle, she's always wanted to fly as a kid. And she might actually do it now!
"Of course, the reason you lost to Tock was because you let that title of "The Grimm Reaper" to go to your head." says Goku as Maria hung her head like a scolded dog.
"I know.." "Sorry.." says Maria quietly, but Goku just laughs and lifts her head up.
"Don't be, we've all made mistakes." "It's what makes us Saiyans, or Human, or both in your case." says Goku nonchalantly.
"Wait, what's a Saiyan?" asks Maria as Goku stiffs up for a second.
"hehe, uh I was gonna wait till later." "But I can tell you, you have to be calm thought." "What I am about to tell you will be freaky for you." says Goku, Maria nods in reponse.
"You see I'm not human, and you aren't either." "Well...I mean you are PART human." explains Goku, as Maria raises an eyebrow.
"You and I are what are known as Saiyans, they're similar to faunus because they all have a brown monkeys tail." "But in other terms, you are distantly related to aliens." Goku explains further.
"So I'm an...A-ALIEN?!" yells Maria shaking her head.
"Well, 1/16th alien...but yeah" "What is your favorite thing to do?" says Goku.
Maria stops before remembering back to when she was a kid, "Fighting, and it's still my favorite thing to do."
Goku nods, "Yes, thats a Saiyan trait right there."
"So...what am I supposed to do with this knowledge?" "Surely this has some importance if you're telling me this." says Maria looking back up at Goku.
"Well, I can tell you what you can aim for...you see all Saiyans have the abililty to transform into a Super Saiyan." says Goku.
"Super...Saiyan?" asks Maria.
"What is that?"
"Well, it's easier to demonsrate rather than explain." says Goku before he goes into a stance.
"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" screams Goku as the ground starts to rumble and lightining sparks, his hair flashes blonde before fully turning Super Saiyan.
"Woah!" says Maria with stars in her eyes.
Goku's yellow aura disappears.
"Teach me!" "It's so powerful!" says Maria shaking Goku.
"Ok! Ok!" Goku says putting his hand out.
"look I doubt you'd be able to do it, but lets try it with charging aura first." "You see Super Saiyan is triggered by feelings of anger." says Goku as Maria nods.
"I want you to remember the helplessness you felt while battling Tock, combine that with increasing the aura in your back."
Maria nods before going into a stance while closing her eyes.
"HAAAAAAAAAAAA!" yells Maria opening her eyes, the ground starts to rumble as Goku looks on in awe.
"no way..." Goku says shaking his head.
Maria's hair sticks up and turns green for a split second as lightning fills the area.
Suddenly her hair turns from green to yellow as she transforms into a Super Saiyan.
"Wow, I didn't expect this!" says Goku, Maria wasn't even close to Goten and Trunks when they went Super Saiyan. She should've been too weak to transform, but she did! What was going on here?!
Maria however struggles to keep this form, before losing it.
"Whew, that was some workout!" says Maria wiping sweat of her forhead, "I don't think ill be putting that off anytime soon..."
Goku grins, "Thats more than ok, you did great!"
"now than, I have some place we can go to get you the other forms quickly..."
-Portable HBTC- (5 years after start) (The HBTC doesn't make the character age in this, Maria will be the same age when she went in despite being in there for 40 years.)
Maria who is now wearing a black and blue tank top with black sweat pants bottoms is Sparing against Goku.
"Now Maria, lets bring this up a notch!" says Goku as he transforms into a Super Saiyan 2.
"You asked for it!" says Maria turning into a Super Saiyan 2.
"Hey Grampa Goku!" says Maria with a smirk.
"huh?"
"behind you!" says Maria suddenly teleporting behind Goku.
"Wait wha-WAUGH!" says Goku, who gets kicked in the side.
"oh grampa!" "Are you ok?!" says Maria, "I didn't mean to.."
Suddenly Goku appears infront of her and nails her in the stomach, as Maria goes flying backwards detransforming in the process.
"That was pretty good Maria, you caught me off guard." laughs Goku while he helps Maria up.
"Thanks gramps, gotta remember that one whenever I'm in a pinch." laughs Maria as she gets back up.
Goku looks at her, "wanna take a break?"
Maria shakes her head, "Are you kidding, I'm nowhere close to done yet!" she says going back into a fighting pose.
"Hah, that my girl!" laughs Goku while getting back into his fighting pose.

Next chapter will be a time-skip to when Ruby's Group meets Maria for the first time, the reason for this is that I'm impatience and I don't like staying in one place at a time, until then. Bye!
