Authors Note:

Hello everyone, and Welcome to the first chapter of Ben 10 X Coraline, I hope you are all as excited as I am! Ok the first chapter is going to involve a few things. I am not going to get into the Beldam stuff quite yet, but there will be a few key things that happen that will show the presence of the Beldam and her effects starting up, especially what affect she and the other world will have on the Omnitrix. There needs to be some way to nerf Ben, as in reality Ben would have no trouble with the Beldam even at this point, as really he could just turn into Waybig and step on her, ending the whole thing. So here in this first chapter is what you are going to see:

First Interactions between Ben and Coraline, along with Wybie.

You'll see the first hints of something between Ben and Coraline, not so much Coraline, but more like Ben liking he, kind of like with Kai in the original series, except it will not be as strong at the start due to their personalities and they will but heads, kind of like Ben and Gwen do.

And finally, Ben will notice something weird with the Omnitrix at first, it will not be that noticeable at first but it will tip Ben off something is going on. He and the Beldam will not meet for a bit though.

Now, let's get this party started. Chapter 1 is going to begin now.

Ashland, Oregon USA, Pink Palace Apartments, 16 hours After Tennyson's Left Bellwood.

Ben's Pov

''Ben? Ben Honey it is take to wake up, we are here'' I heard my mom's voice as I opened my eyes. I opened my eyes to see we had arrived at our new home. I see a sign that says ''Pink Palace Apartments''. I could see that this place was really old. It seemed like it was once a big mansion or house that was divided into different apartments. I took one look at the building and I could just tell that this place was going to be boring. The place looked dirty, like it has not been cleaned in years! And looking around the area, there are no other houses that I can see. There is nothing but trees for what seem to go on for miles in all directions. I sighed, but then I saw something interesting. I saw another moving van just across from us. It seems like another family was moving in to one of the other apartments just next door. I was called by my mom and dad to come help them bring some furniture in. I sighed even further and went to go help unload our car and the van.

An hour later

I put the final box down in the living room and sat down, a bit tired. Even with the movers help, it was still was tiring to get everything inside the apartment. I looked up and saw the movers were now leaving. I got up and decided to take a look around my new home. I will say that the inside was not as bad as the outside. I thought this place would be falling apart and look crummy, but it was pretty nice on the inside. The kitchen and living room were pretty big for an apartment and looked nice enough. I then made my way upstairs to check out my new room. Opening the door, I see my new room. It is about the same size of my room back in Bellwood, but I would say the paint in my room is ugly. The paint is an ugly gray color. It makes this place look even more dead and boring than it already is. I will have to paint my room the same as my old one back in Bellwood. These thoughts make me sigh in sadness a little, thinking of my old hometown. I may have just left but I miss it already. I miss my house, friends, Grandpa, even Gwen. Once my internet is up, I'll have to message my friends online and text Gwen to talk with them.

'' I wish we didn't have to leave Bellwood'' I thought kind of sad, ''But my dad got a new job and I have to be happy for him, as this is something he has been wanting for a long time and I can't just be selfish and ruin this for him''. '' I could always visit Bellwood again in the future, maybe stay at Gwen's house for the summer, where we can hang out and have fun, or even go on another road trip with Grandpa Max'' I said to myself. I walked out of my room and decided to head outside to check out the area around the apartments. I looked outside and saw it was cloudy, meaning it might rain. I decided to go get my hoodie (This hoodie for Ben is combination; picture his hoodie from omniverse, but with the colors of his jacket from Alien Force/Ultimate Alien). I got my hoodie and put it on while heading for the door.

''Mom, Dad I'm heading outside to see what is around here'' I shouted into the house. ''Ok honey, be careful '' my Mom yelled. ''Yeah son, be safe, I heard there is an old well around here, watch where you step so you don't fall in'' my Dad shouted back. I rolled my eyes, as why should I be worried about some dumb old well. I am a super hero who has defeated all kinds of enemies over the last year; I'm not scared of some dumb old well. I head out the door and make my way outside. I walk and I see what is in the area. After walking for a few minutes, I come across a garden, or at least what was a garden. It looked dead and abandoned, like nothing had grown there for years. I walked through the garden and it all looked the same, dead and abandoned with nothing but dirt patches and dead bushes everywhere. I suddenly hear a noise. I look around and see something yellow quickly run by on the path on the hill.

''What the heck was that''? I said to myself. I look up even further and I see something moving along the rocks. Looking at it closer, it appears to be a cat? The cat seems to be following something I thought.

''Probably whatever that yellow thing was that just ran by'' I thought. I then looked back and it seems the cat was now staring at me? It looked at me for about a minute, until I decided to move on and get away from there. That had to be the weirdest cat I have ever seen. I continue on the path trying to ignore the cat and the yellow thing I saw before. I finally come up a hill, where the well is supposed to be. But when I look around, I do not see anything. Where could the well be, I doubt it would be that hard to find it. I heard a noise behind me. I turn around in a panic. There is a bush moving and moving violently at that .I start to back away, not wanting to know what is behind that bush. As I am backing away, I suddenly crash into something, or actually someone, because as soon as I hit what's behind me, I fall and here a loud…

''Owww! , what the heck!?'' I heard someone say. It sounded like a girl. I turn around and I see a girl getting up from the ground. She wore a yellow raincoat with yellow rain boots. She had a clip of a bug in her hair. Her hair was the strangest thing about her. It was a dark blue color. Looking at her, I could see she was kind of pretty.

''Whoa where did that come from? I thought. ''I don't even know this girl and I'm thinking stuff like this''? I cannot even finish my thought as the girl gets up and notices me and her face doesn't look like she is very happy.

''Aww man'' I whispered, knowing I was in trouble.

Coraline's Pov

I was just walking out to check out the well that is supposedly up here. My family and I have just moved here from Michigan due to their job working on garden catalogues. I wasn't a big fan of the move, as I had to leave my friends behind in Michigan. After unpacking, I wanted to go out and check out the area outside. I walked through the garden and up the trail, when I got the feeling of being watched. I shrugged it off and ran further down the trail up the hill to where the well is supposed to be. When I get up there I find nothing but mushrooms and a plain dirt ground. I sigh in annoyance and kick the ground.

''Where is the well, I better not have come up here for nothing!'' I said angrily, as I started looking around for the well. I suddenly hear a noise behind me from the bushes that cause me to jump a little. I am looking around, seeing if I can find out what is making the noise. All of the sudden I fall down as something crashes into me from behind. I tumble to the ground hard, shouting in a bit of pain.

'' Owww! , What the heck was that!?'' I shouted in shock and a bit of anger. I get up and turn around. I see what crashed into me, or rather WHO crashed into me. It was a boy, looking to be around my age. He looked up at me and I looked at him with anger in my face. I noticed he had brown hair, green eyes, had a green hoodie with a large white number 10 in the center of it, cargo pants, black and white sneakers, and weirdest of all, a big black and grey watch with an hourglass symbol that seemed to glow green. He started speaking to me.

'' I'm sorry, I didn't see you there'' the boy started to say, but I cut him off by yelling at him.

'' Watch where you're going weirdo, were you the one following me your creep! I shouted at him, very sure he was the one in the bushes. The boy did not like this response and fired back angrily.

'' Me! following you? Why would I follow you, I didn't even know you were here. I just came up to look for the well''. The boy shouted at me. I fired back, as I was not going to buy into this boy's lies.

'' Sure, likely story. I felt like I was being watched on the way here and there was rustling in the bushes and then you just show up? It is pretty clear you were following me you creep!'' I shouted at him, very angry. He shouted back saying,

''If I was following you like you say I was, why would I walk backwards into you and give away my position!?'' the boy shouted out. I stood there questioning his question. I decided to shrug it off as I knew this boy had to be following me, it just all adds up. I said back to him

''Maybe your just dumb? I don't know and I don't care, you're the stalker here and are going to answer for being a creep!'' I shouted back at him. He then looks at me for a minute and I am getting weirded by it. I shout

'' Stop looking at me you weirdo! , you are just proving to me more that you are a creep'' I shouted at him. He looks and shouts

'' No! , look I was looking as I see you are wearing a yellow raincoat''. ''On my way up here, I saw on another trail a flash of yellow go by, and I didn't know what it was''.'' Now seeing you here, I am pretty sure it was you who I saw'' He says to me. This just makes me madder and I yell at him even more

''See! You admit it, you were following me this whole time you creepy weirdo!'' I shouted even louder at the top of my lungs, even getting in the boy's face. His face turns into a scowl and he gets in my face also. Shouting

''No! I wasn't following you. As I just said, all I said was yellow and that was it, I didn't even know it was you''. '' I also saw some weird cat on the rocks near that trail, where it seemed to be watching whatever was going up the trail, which means it was following you'' The boy said. I looked at him with a look of disbelief. I say

'' A cat? Really you expect me to believe it was a cat that was following me the whole time? Get real, you're just trying to get out of the fact you were following me. It is not going to work, you're not getting out of this''.

The boy looked like he was about to say something back, but then a noise interrupted him. We turn around and sitting on top of a rock is a black cat, just sitting there, staring at us. I looked back at the boy behind me and gave me a look that said ''I told you so''. I gave him a hard look and then turn back to the cat. I look at it and say

'' Look I'm just looking for an old well, until Mr. creeper here crashed into me'' pointing at the boy, who gave me an annoyed look and stuck his tongue out, which I also did in response. I turned back, the cat not looking amused. I then ask

'' So do you know where the well is?'' I ask the cat. The cat just shrugged at me.

''Not talking eh?'' I said to the cat. The boy next to me then says with sarcasm

''Oh yeah, I'm sure the cat is a real chatterbox'' The boy says with obvious sarcasm and smugness. I turn to look at him, annoyed

''Shut up, why are you still here? Shouldn't you be leaving?'' I asked him, annoyed that he is still here. He responds

''No way, I came here to look for the well like you did and I'm not leaving till I find it.'' The boy says. I sigh and just pull up my stick I'm using as a dowser rod. The boy asked

''What's with the stick'' He asks. I look back at him annoyed and said

''It is not a stick, it is a magic dowser rod, now be quiet'' I said. He looked annoyed but remained silent. I proceeded to hold up the dowser in the air and say

''Magic dowser, magic dowser show me the well!'' I shout out. All of a sudden I hear a lout horn. Me and the boy look up the hill to see someone on a bike with a weird mask. The bike started coming down the hill pretty fast. I screamed and got my stick ready to swing, while the boy just stood there shocked. When the bike got close, I swung my stick at them, shouting

''GET AWAY FROM ME!'' I shout as I swing the stick, but the rider is quick and grabs it, as I fall to the ground. I then hear shouting, then a loud crash happen. I look up and see the bike crashed on to the ground, with the rider having crashed into the boy, who was now crushed under the rider. The boy starts shouting at the rider,

''Get off me!'', the boy shouts, kicking the rider off of him. He gets up and wipes himself off. The rider gets up, and we see them mess with the goggles on their mask before taking them off. Upon the masks removal, I see it is a boy, about the same age as me and the other boy. He seems to slouch a bit. He looks at us and speaks up

''Hey, sorry about that didn't mean to crash into you'' he says to the other boy. ''I was just trying to come down the hill and I lost a bit of control''. ''Now where are you guys from, the guy I figure is from New York, and as for you'' he points at me '' I figure your from Texas or Utah, someplace dried out and barren, right?'' He asks me. ''I've heard about water witching before, but it doesn't make any sense I mean it's just an ordinary branch.'' He says, inspecting my dowsing rod. I get annoyed and take the rod away from him saying,

''It's a dowsing rod!'' I shout at him, hitting him in the leg, causing him to jump in pain and release my rod. I take it back into my hands. The cat from before jumps beside him. I look at him and ask,

''So that's your cat? Well let me tell you I don't like being stalked by psycho nerds or their cats!'' I yell, tilting my head at them. The other boy just laughs, which I turn and stare at him to shut up. The boy with the bike proceeds to continue talking saying

''He is not really my cat, he is more wild, feral, though he does come to me every night to feed him, and he brings me little dead things'' He says. I am a little freaked out, as is the boy next to me. I just move on and say

''Look I'm from Michigan, and if I'm a water witch, then where is the secret well?'' I say while stomping my foot down. He looks at me and says

''Stomp too hard and you'll fall in it'' he says. I look down and jump from where I'm standing. The boy with the bike jumps down and grabs a branch. He digs up the dirt, revealing a trap door.

''See? He says, and then proceeds to use the branch to open the door, ''they say it is so deep, that if you fell down you could see a sky full of stars during the day.'' he says as soon as he props open the door.

''Huh?'' I reply, finding that a bit interesting. I proceed to the door and wipe it a bit, just as the same boy continues speaking.

''I'm surprised that she let you guys move in, my grandma , she owns the Pink Palace, wont rent to anyone with kids.'' The other Boy and I are a little surprised at this.

Ben's POV

''What do you mean?'' I asked the boy, as I was curious as to why his grandma wouldn't rent to anyone with kids. The girl seemed just as curious about that.

''We-well I'm not supposed to talk about it.'' He stutters. He then sticks out his hand to the girl and shakes her hand.

''I'm Wybie, Wybie Lovat.'' He says. The girl looks at him curiously\

''Wybie?'' She asks him, confused. I was also. What kind of name is Wybie?

''It's short for Wyborn, not my idea of course, so what did you get saddled with? 'He asks the girl. She replies a bit snarky

''I wasn't saddled with anything!'' she said, being quiet for a second before saying ''It's Coraline'' She says. I think, ''Coraline? What kind of name is that?'' I think to myself. Wybie then says her name wrong

''Caroline what? He asks. This annoys Coraline

''Coraline, Coraline Jones'' she says to Wybie, hitting her foot hard on the ground. Wybie replies as he goes over to pet the cat.

''It's not real scientific, but I heard an ordinary name like Caroline can lead people to have ordinary expectations about a person.'' Says Wybie as he pets his cat. Coraline just growls annoyed that he keeps getting her name wrong. He then looks at me and asks.

''What about you? what's your name'' Wybie asks me.

'I'm Ben, Ben Tennyson, I just moved here from Bellwood, California (Note: We aren't given an exact location of Bellwood in the Ben 10 universe, so I picked California for the heck of it). Wybie and Coraline both look at me, With Corlaine looking like she wants to laugh.

''Tennyson, you mean like the number 10? Which you have on your hoodie?'' she says while laughing. I look at her and say back

''At least my name doesn't sound like someone misspelled it.'' This quickly shut her up as she looked at me a bit angry.

''Well Ben it's nice to meet you, sorry about crashing into you.'' Wybie says as he shakes my hand.

''No problem.'' I said, as I was cool with it as it was an accident. Wybie looks at my wrist.

''Hey cool watch, where did you get it?'' he says, asking about the omnitrix. I just gave the same excuse I gave everyone.

''I just one it at an arcade last summer'' I said. I always use this excuse and it always worked.

''That's cool, What does it''- Before he could finish, We hear someone shout

''WYBORN'' a voice, that of a lady shouted. It caused us all to stop. Wybie stops petting his cat, who froze and rolls on the ground. Coraline then says

''I think I heard someone calling you, Wyborn'' she says in a very accusing voice. Wybie freezes up.

''Wh-wh-what? I didn't hear anything'' Wybie says, though I could tell he was lying and so could Coraline.

''Oh I definitely heard someone, why-were-you born'' Coraline said to him, stepping closer to him.I see the look on Wybie's face, he is nervous.

''WYBORN!'' the voice calls again.

''Grandma'' Wybie whispered. So it was his grandma calling him.

''Well great to meet a Michigan water witch'' and a boy with some hi-tech looking watch'' Wybie says as he picks up his motor bike. As he gets on, He says one more thing to Coraline.

''But I'd wear gloves next time'' He tells Coraline.

''Why?'' Coraline asks, a little annoyed, smacking the stick in her hand.

''Cause that dowsing rod of yours, it's poison oak'' Wybie tells her, and just as he says this Coraline drops the stick to the ground. Wybie then flips his mask on and rides away on his sticks her tongue out at him as he rides away. She then looks at the cat, who just shakes his head and runs in the direction Wybie left in. This just left me and Coraline alone. She turns and looks at the well. I go up to it also. She turns to look at me.

''Your still here?'' she says, kind of annoyed. I reply back

''Yeah I am, as I was looking for the well also and now that we found it I am going to check it out also'' I told her. She just rolled her eyes. We went up to the well. Corlaine decided to peak through the hole. She took a rock and dropped it down. We listened and it took a bit, but we heard a faint splash.

''That is one deep well'' I said. Then all of a sudden it started raining, Coraline looks at me and I look at her. She just looks at me annoyed.

''Watch where you're going next time and do not follow me home, ok ten boy'' she says to me.

''Right back at you Caroline'' saying her name wrong on purpose. She looks at me and sticks her tongue out. I do the same and take off running as it starts raining harder. By the time I got home, I was nearly soaked. I took my shoes and hoodie off. My mom was in the kitchen, and saw me.

''Ben honey your all soaked, get out of those clothes before you get sick'' my mom said.

''Ok mom, by the way I met two kids today, one who is the grandson of the owner of the Pink Palace, and another who just moved in like us'' I told her as I made my way to the stairs.

''Really were they nice?'' my mom asked.

''The boy was, the other who is a girl was just so rude and annoying, and very sarcastic.'' I told my mom.

''Just like you can be sometimes'' my mom said, laughing.

''MOM!'' I said as I ran upstairs embarrassed. There is no way that girl and I are anything alike. I started to change into my usual regular clothes. When I was done I started unpacking a few of my things like my computer, game console, sumo slammers posters. After a bit of doing this, I heard my mom call me down.

''Ben Dinner time'' my mom called. I shouted back.

''Coming mom!'' I shouted. I was about to head out the door when I noticed something about the omnitirx that was strange. The look of it was still green but the green was a very dark green, not like the normal bright green that the watch usually has when in active mode. This green was dull and dark. The dial was also rotating on it's own.

''What is going on with this thing?'' I slammed on the dial to get it to stop, which worked but it was still dark green. I was interrupted when I heard my mom again.

''Ben are you coming, your dinner is on the table and it will get cold if you don't come get it.'' My mom called. I looked back down at the omnitrix and saw it was back to normal. I was weirded out but I just shrugged.

''Must just have been another glitch, nothing new about that.'' As I have had plenty of those happen before.

I just decided to ignore it and went downstairs to have dinner, thinking about the crazy day I just had. I have a new home and I may have made new friends, though I'm not sure if I would call Coraline a friend as she has just been rude and a complete jerk. I decided not to worry about it right now and headed downstairs for dinner, after my crazy first day here.

End of Chapter

Ok,that is the end of the first chapter of Ben 10 X Coraline. Ben has met both Wybie and Coraline, and while he gets along with Wybie just fine, His first encounter with Coraline does not go so well, and it seems like they will be at each others throats. I've got a few odeas to make the plot more interesting. And it's a question I would like you guys to answer.

I may make a Resident(s) of one of the apartments a Plumber? Should I do this and if So who?

It's between Mr. B upstairs and Ms. Spink and Ms. Forciable downstairs. Let me know your choices in your reviews.

Also should maybe Carl and Sandra have known Mel and Charlie from their past, maybe causing Coraline and Ben to interact even more or should they just stay two families that never met before. Let me know in your reviews.
