Episode 2: Enter Kazuchi!
Takumi, Kayako, Yuto, Totska, and Ms. Tamazuchi sit in the club room. Takumi and Yuto play each other in a strategy came over some handheld game systems. "Now I have you! Begone knave! My druid attacks-" says Yuto. "Wrong. Its you who can begone. My Shield Angels ability protects me, and now, my Gia Angel is ready, go Gia, RISING SOLAR FLARE SLASH" says Takumi. Yuto yells like he just took a bunch of damage, as Gia attacks, and ends the match in Takumi's favor. "A good match. I shall beat those angels someday" says Yuto. "You aren't a slouch with the dungeon deck either" says Takumi. "I knew you'd win Taki. You've always been good at this stuff" says Totska. Takumi sighs and spins around a chair. "Yeah. I honestly miss a challenge. Once you get to a certain point, you become tooooo powerful" says Takumi. He opens his laptop, and logs into Outland. "Hey, Rugi's on" he says as he sees Rugi's active light on. "He's still in a party with us. He must have forgotten to disband. That makes it easier to contact him though" says Takumi. He types in the party chat, and after a few back and forths, Takumi asks about him joining the club, and Rugi goes quiet. After about 5 minutes, Rugi's active status disappears. "Huh, he got off awefully fast" says Takumi. "Well, if he's in class, he probably got busy" says Kayako. Takumi does some typing on the laptop, and smiles. "Hell yeah, I was right. He does go to the school! He's here right now, I'm coming at you Rugi" Takumi says as he goes to rush out the door. He crashes straight into a guy right outside the door. He has spikey black hair, with slightly darker skin, and a shark tooth necklace on. He's wearing a white button up shirt, with a blue jacket over it, black pants, and black shoes. He's also got a black school bag. "Oops, sorry about that" says Takumi. Takumi helps him up. "Don't worry about it. Just watch where your going next time" he says as he goes to walk away. Suddenly, a basketball nails him in the back of the head, and he turns around to see 3 guys standing there. There's a guy with short black hair, and sunglasses, a guy with shaggy blonde hair, and a guy with shaggy black hair. "Kazuchi! You weren't at practice today. Figured we'd help you out, right boys" asks the guy in glasses. He nods to the other black haired guy, who nails Kazuchi in the head with another basketball. He grunts. "Why don't you just leave me alone" he asks. "You know why punk" the guy with the sunglasses says as he takes the last basketball, and nails Kazuchi in the back of the head again. "You done" he asks. The guy looks around, and grabs a school bag from the blonde guy. He throws it into Kazuchi's back, which knocks a picture out of his front shirt pocket. That seems to anger him, and he looks at a nearby trashcan. "Well boys, I'd say we took out the trash" says the guy with the sunglasses. "Not yet you haven't" Kazuchi says as he picks up the trashcan, and throws it with incredible force. It spears the sunglasses guy right in the face, and sends him flying back. The other black haired guy charges at him, and a single impactful kick to the stomach takes him down. "You want some too" he asks the blonde guy. The blonde guy shakes his head frantically, and runs away. A bunch of teachers rush around. "Buracka Kazuchi, how unexpected" one of the teachers says sarcastically. He grunts, and a teacher grabs his arm. "Come on big man. Back to the detention room you go" says the teacher that grabbed him. "What? That's not fair, they attacked him first" says Takumi. "Really? Because how it looks to me is, Kazuchi stands here right as rain, while we have 2 unconcious students laying in the hallway" says a teacher. "How do we know it wasn't 2 on 2" asks another teacher. "Because I don't need someone else to kick someone's ass" says Kazuchi. "Shush. Your in enough trouble" says the teacher holding on to him. "Hey! What's going on here" Ms. Tamazuchi asks as she walks out of her classroom. "Kazuchi's at it again, this time he dragged one of your clubs brats along too" says the male teacher from the last episode. "It was Kayako wasn't it? She's always been a better fighter than-TAKUMI? No way" she says. "I-I didn't do anything, well, I mean, I accidentally bumped into this guy-" starts Takumi. "He's innocent, I'm telling you. Takumi's too weak to get into a fight" says Ms. Tamazuchi. "Hey" says Takumi. "I'm sorry Ms. Tamazuchi, your relationship with the kids-" starts a teacher. Ms. Tamazuchi grabs him and throws him against a wall. "Listen here you little shit. My kids are roudy, weird, and excitable, but they aren't bad kids. Takumi is a writer, he likes telling stories. Yuto doesn't realize it yet, but he's really good at listening to people. I'd say he's got a counciling job in his future, and Kayako? She's always had a flair for over the top theatrics. I bet she's an actor. Don't treat them like they have no future just because they're a little different" she says. "Ms. Tamazuchi! Your behavior is way out of line. I'll let it slide for now because the student body seems to love you, but any more slip ups, and we'll be discussing alternative employment options" says a woman. Ms. Tamazuchi let's go of the teacher. "Please, I'm putting my own word on this. Takumi didn't have a part in the fight. Look at him, he's completely fine" she says. The woman nods. "Very well. I'll personally review security footage myself. Takumi, would you mind waiting with Kazuchi until I can confirm your innocence. You aren't in trouble, at least, as long as I find out you didn't do anything" she says. "Thank you ma'am" says Ms. Tamazuchi. "Oh it's no problem. I used to teach a computers class anyways. I believe that none of our students are bad kids. Not even Kazuchi. They just have more unique places they're going in life. Don't let it deter you boys. A little secret, it actually makes you special" the woman says with a wink. She leads Takumi and Kazuchi to a room, where she leaves them to review the footage. "So, while we're waiting, I'll introduce myself. I'm Takumi, nice to meet you" says Takumi as he holds out his hand. Kazuchi looks at the hand for a moment, before taking it and shaking it. "I'm Kazuchi. School bully I guess" he says. "Never heard of you, and I've met a lot of bullies" says Takumi. "Well, I didn't have any problems with you" says Kazuchi. "What's your problem with other people" asks Takumi. "They're all assholes" he says. "Fair point" says Takumi. "Your not gonna give me non of that "oh people aren't so bad" crap" asks Kazuchi. "Nope. Humanity itself I feel bad for. It used to be something great. Now it's all a bunch of assholes and sadness" says Takumi. "Well, that's new. Nobody talks to me, let along agrees with me" he says. "Well, I'm not like most people. I'm an outcast. Reality sucks, and in a way, that's why I started writing. I write my own reality. It's the way I want it. It's still not perfect, but it's mine" says Takumi. Kazuchi nods. "Your actually pretty cool to talk too-" he starts. The door opens, and the woman walks in. "You boys are free to go. I'm sorry for the misunderstanding" she says. Kazuchi stands up and goes to leave, but the woman stops him. "Wait, there is something I needed to ask you. The picture you dropped, that was why you got mad wasn't it? Not the balls or the bag" she asks. Kazuchi doesn't answer. She nods. "That's all I wanted to know. I'm not gonna take it, I was just curious. Your free still" she says. He walks out without another word, and Takumi follows in suit. As Kazuchi is walking down the hallway, he hears a girl crying. He keeps walking at first, but stops sighs, and slaps his forehead. "Why do I have to invite this crap on myself" he asks as he turns to where he's hearing the crying. He walks around a wall, and a girl sits curled up with a huge bruise on her neck. She's got black hair, done into a ponytail, and is wearing the school uniform. "Mia? Why are you crying? And what's that bruise from" asks Kazuchi. "I tripped" she says. "Bullshit. Was it your dad or boyfriend this time" he asks. "I tripped Kazuchi. Just...leave me alone please. You're the last person I want seeing me cry" she says. "If you tripped, why do I see a handmark on it" asks Kazuchi. She reaches up and grabs it, and he gives her a look. She sighs. "You always get me with that trick" she says. "Who was it" he asks. "Kazuchi, you beat up everyone who hurts me. You can't keep doing it" says Mia. "Like hell" says Kazuchi. "Kazuchi, they're gonna expell you if you get in trouble again. Your sister was my best friend, I can't lose both of you, please" she says. "I'll find out my way then" Kazuchi says as he stands up and starts walking away. "It was my dad. I'm asking you, as your friend, and as the girl who's liked you since the day she met you, I'm begging you, don't. It was an accident. He pushed me, and I fell down the stairs wrong. Dad's not a bad person, he's just...not himself when he's drinking-" starts Mia. "Mia, they're never bad guys. There's always a reason for them to do it, and I've never cared. The fact that they did it is what pisses me off" says Kazuchi. Mia hugs him from behind. "Kazuchi...be safe" she says. "Mia, you aren't having bad thoughts again are you" asks Kazuchi. "No, I'm fine" she says. "Liar. I can hear the quiver in your voice. You do it everytime you lie to me" he says. She goes silent for a while. "I don't wanna die you know. I just don't want to live anymore" she says. "That's the same thing dummy. Come on, you can stay with me again tonight. Sis's room is always open to you" says Kazuchi. She shakes her head. "I'll take the couch. I...see ghost in that room. Not actual ghost, but...you know" she says. Kazuchi hugs her back. "I know" he says. He looks over and sees a guy shoulder check Yuto as he's walking by. He's got combed brown hair, blue eyes, and a school uniform, nicely taken care off. "Oops, pardon me" says Yuto. "No problem" says the guy as he turns around. He sees Mia, and smiles. "Ah, angel, I've been looking all over for you" he says. Mia quickly let's go of Kazuchi. "I-Its not what it l-looks like" she says. "What do you think it looks like? I see 2 friends hugging, nothing wrong with that" he says. Kazuchi narrows his eyes at the guy. Mia stands up, and walks over to his side. He gives her a kiss on the cheek, and she smiles. "You're so beautiful" he says. "Thank you" she says. Yuto adjust his glasses and watches closely. "Oh, and I almost forgot my dear (pulls out a necklace). I got this for you" he says. "Thank you Toshikè" she says. "I'll even help put it on. Anything for my angelfish" he says. "I-I think it's a little small. I wanna find a bigger chain for it. I-I don't like feeling like there's hands around my neck-" she starts. "Nonsense honey, the chain won't strangle you, or they wouldn't have made it like this" he says. He puts it around her neck, and she takes a deep breath and closes her eyes. "Hey prick. She says she wants a bigger chain first" says Kazuchi as he stands up. Toshikè smiles, and finishes getting the necklace on. "Oh come on. See, she's got plenty of room. Seriously though buddy (eyes turn from friendly to threatening), stay away from Mia, and out of our business" he says. "T-Toshikè, please d-don't. He's...her brother" she says. "Oh, so your Buracka Kazuchi, I knew your sister, what was her name? Miruna" he asks. Mia tears up as soon as he says the name. Kazuchi clenches her fist. "Wait, did he say Miruna" asks a nearby girl. "Isn't she the girl who killed herself last year" asks a guy. "Oh yeah, wasn't she really weird and stuff" asks a girl. Mia drops to the ground and grabs her head. "Stop it. I don't want to hear it anymore" she says. "Yo, what's the deal" asks a guy. "Yeah, don't be such a bitch" says one of the girls. Kazuchi punches a locker and caves it in, and students look in fear as blood flows from his knuckle down the locker. "Got anything else to say" he asks. "N-N-Not at all Kazuchi" says the guy. Kazuchi grabs him by the shirt collar and pulls him in. "Stop talking about it. It happened. Nobody wants to think about it. There are people hurting right now, who's pain you should pray you never feel" he says. "That was your last strike Kazuchi" says the male teacher from the last episode as he walks around the corner. "No, please! Kazuchi didn't hurt him" pleads Mia. "He damaged school property again, and frankly, everyone is afraid of him. He's got rock bottom grades, no extra clubs or activities, and he's in detention more than the teachers. He's a punk, always will be" says the teacher. "What if that were to change" asks Yuto. "What" asks the teacher. "Well, my club is facing disbandment unless we recruit members, and he has no clubs. If he were to show improvement by joining a club, would that not allow for at least 1 more chance" asks Yuto. "Please sir" says Mia. "Why should I allow that" asks the teacher. "Well, it is the Outcast club. Honestly, I believed he'd fit rather well" says Yuto. "It's a good idea sir, please" asks Mia. "Hold on, I didn't agree to-" starts Kazuchi. Mia looks at him with pleading eyes, and he sighs. "He won't say y-" starts Kazuchi. "Alright" says the teacher. "What" asks Kazuchi. "I personally believe none of you four have any potential, however, believe it or not, as a teacher I hope I'm wrong. This is your chance. Prove me wrong" he says. Kazuchi smirks. "Fine. I'll take your challenge" says Kazuchi. "Good. You have approximately 21 days to show improvement boy, good luck" says the teacher. "21 days?! You've got to be kidding me" he says. "Well, it looks like you'll be busy for a while good luck with that bud" Toshikè says smugly as he walks away pulling Mia, and she mouths thank you to Kazuchi. Once everyone clears out of the hall, Kazuchi walks up to Yuto. "Why the hell'd you do that? I didn't ask for help" he says. "You didn't need too. It was for my gain, not yours. As I said, my club needs members. I did however have an interest in you. My friend Takumi texted me about asking you" says Yuto. "Well whatever man, thanks" says Kazuchi. "For" asks Yuto. "You know what for. I was in a pinch, you saved my ass. I would owe you one, but I'm already part of this stupid club now, so I'm calling it even" says Kazuchi. "Fair. I'm not big on collecting favors anyways" says Yuto as he leads Kazuchi back to the room. They walk in, and flip on the lights, and Kayako is doing a pose, while Takumi sleeps in a corner. "H-Hey! Turn the lights off! Your killing me with light" says Kayako. "Soooo. What the hell does this club even do" asks Kazuchi. "For the most part? Absolutely nothing" says Yuto. "Cool" says Kazuchi. "Hey wait, who's this guy" asks Kayako. "Our newest member. Kayako, this is Buracka Kazuchi" says Yuto. "Buracka huh? Well I don't know if I like you yet, but until I do, you do the grunt work. Now go fetch me some chocolate and a soda" she says. "Forget it. I'm not an errand boy" says Kazuchi as he flops down. "Hey! That's my spot, and this is my club" she says. "So what? Sit somewhere else" he says. She kicks the leg of the chair, and it breaks and throws him to the ground. "I think I will. That chair seems to be broken" she says smugly. "I think I just discovered I don't like you either" Kazuchi says as he sits up and plops down in another chair. "Well, as leader of the club, I can kick you out anytime I want" says Kayako. "Go ahead. See if I care" he says. "Won't you get expelled" asks Yuto. "I don't care. I'm giving this a shot for Mia. Everyone else can kiss my ass" says Kazuchi. "Mia, she was the girl with the bruise right" asks Yuto. "Yeah. She's got enough bullcrap going on with everyone else adding to it, including me. If she kicks me, it's her fault, not mine. I wouldn't feel the least bit bad" says Kazuchi. "Wait, I know that Mia girl. Her boyfriends a jerk" she says. "Yeah" says Kazuchi. "You don't like him either" asks Kayako. "No, I don't. I think he's a two-faced, cocky, and pushy asshole" says Kazuchi. "I may like you after all" says Kayako.
