Hey all, I'm back again for chapter 2 and thank you for the review! I was hoping for a bit more, but it's all good, I only have 1 chapter out (well 2 now).

Chapter 1 was a bit messy and I plan on going back and editing a couple of things to make it a bit more clear and address the concerns that I read about in my reviews. I was considering just fixing them throughout this chapter but I figured it would be easier to just go back and change them in the previous one. So once this one is published you can go back and read chapter 1 again. It won't have any changes to the plot, it's just going to have a few words that are added and a couple of changes to a few things that you may not even realize the changes, but I think it sounds a bit better now.

I'm also going to try and make the chapters a bit longer and more descriptive. Concerning Ash's mom's death and his emotional state, I didn't want to make Ash so dark that he had little to no dialogue to provide although there will be future moments where his dark side comes out a bit. As far as concerning Ash and May...well, I hope you guys will hang on and try to see where I'm taking their relationship. I am all for a good romantic advanceshipping story, but for now Ash and May both have their own complications going on and I don't want to rush them.

I'm currently in my last week of senior year for high school and it's been pretty hectic even though it's online lol. I've also been playing through Pokémon Crystal again and I'll admit, it's also a bit of a distraction hehe. There's just so many presentations to get done and so once that is over I'll be able to pump out chapters quickly, although I don't plan on trying to rush this story in any way.

Anyways, here is chapter 2, enjoy!

Chapter 2: The King Comes Home

Drake had just finished some of his talking with Ash as he headed towards the front of the boat to speak to the sailor who was currently steering the ship back towards their home region. He needed a bit of air and wanted to make sure his sailors were headed back in the right path. It was foggy out and the water was still. Drake could feel the mist that began to rest on his thin hair, making it a bit wet. He ran his fingers through his hair as he sighed and put his large captain hat back on. He wanted to get more answers out of Ash, but the things he was hearing were extremely depressing and he couldn't take it all in at once. Drake gently stroked his thick white beard and began to think.

"So he's supposedly stopped Giovanni…maybe we're finally at peace…" Drake thought to himself. Giovanni had been their biggest threat. Long ago, the Pokémon Secret Service had managed to stop his efforts to replicate the Pokémon Mew and had locked him up along with his organization's leaders and smaller management. They were shocked when they learned that Giovanni and his leaders had escaped. They had been able to catch some of the smaller grunts and asked them about Giovanni's whereabouts but they refused to give up their leader's information, taking death instead of dishonor. They couldn't believe they had lost hold of Giovanni. They had gone from region to region and spent years capturing Team Rockets members and shutting down their headquarters that they had set up all over the world. They had wanted to replicate the legendary Pokémon Mew to create a Pokémon for war. Giovanni had admitted to the service that he had planned on going to war with the world with his new Pokémon and having world domination. Drake finished his thinking as he walked back to the cabin that Ash was in.

"So how'd you get into the service? Only 2 other trainers were qualified enough and one of them has since passed away." Drake asked. He knew of Gold's death back on Mount Silver, and he knew of Red's as well, although he was never informed of Ash joining them.

Ash looked at the man and quickly responded. "They had chosen me since my partner Red and I set up a beacon to reach out to any trainers to come help us on the island. Lance had apparently been close by and responded to the beacon. After seeing how I battled, he had offered me a spot on the service team." Ash said, giving a brief explanation of what happened.

After Lance had joined Ash and Red for a short time, he had seen how skilled Ash was and offered him a spot on the service, saying that Ash was more than qualified for it and he even compared Ash to the trainer Gold, who was well known for being a strong trainer. He eventually left and didn't take them back because he always had a difficult time getting to the island due to the harsh weather. Lance figured that Ash and Red were strong enough to take down the threats that existed there and that it was easier if he left them there so that no one else would have to take the harsh path to get to the island.

"Why aren't you on it anymore?" Drake asked.

"Well, apparently after one other trainer had been killed during a dangerous mission on Mount Silver, Lance felt extreme guilt that a trainer had died and he didn't want me and Red to die under his authority so he contacted us and told us we were no longer a part of the service, although he said we could still reap from the benefits of it, if we ever made it off."

'So that's what happened…' Drake thought to himself. He had been there when Lance announced that they were cutting ties with regular trainers joining them, but Lance had never given his explanation for cutting them off.

It was true, just last year Team Rocket had taken over the snowy mountain. It became very troublesome since they were now directly in between Kanto and Johto and they knew Lance's Pokémon were weak to the natural environment, they could easily plague themselves into both regions. One trainer named Gold had been in the service for a couple years and was extremely talented. He was known for having 16 badges and for beating the Indigo Plateau. He told Lance he would take care of it and Lance had trusted that Gold was strong enough, knowing that he was a very strong trainer. Something had gone wrong and Gold had left a voice message saying that the weather was too strong up here and that Team Rocket was ruthless. His Pokémon yelling in terror could be heard over the phone and a few gunshots were heard before the line went silent. Lance felt that it was all his fault and would now only accept current champions on the service and only a select few elite four. Drake had proved his worth and was on the team, often going on missions around the sea. He had come to this island when his boat picked up on the old beacon that Red and Ash had planted years ago.

"I see, so where is Red?" Drake asked, he felt that Red should've been with Ash if he was his partner.

Ash shook his head as he opened his mouth once again. "...I'm not sure. After I had taken down Giovanni I spent weeks looking for him but couldn't find him. I left messages all around the island for him to find and hopefully respond back to, but I never found him or found a message back…" Ash quietly said. He began peering out of the window again and saw a large mountain in the far, far distance.

"I see...well, we're closing in on the Hoenn League where you'll be staying. You'll receive medicine and treatment in case you picked up any foreign viruses on the island. I say you get some sleep now, you look awful." Drake bluntly said to Ash. He had noticed the tired expression Ash had on his face when they spoke and he figured he would finish up his conversation with Ash later.

Ash nodded as he laid himself down on the bed and took out his small pistol that he had hid in the back of his shirt. He didn't want to accidentally shoot himself while he was sleeping. He began to remember why they kept guns and he had learned from Red that only people in the service used them because Team Rocket had begun using them against others. Years ago, guns had been banned and had no longer been sold. Unfortunately, Team Rocket was able to get a hold on them and began using them on trainers when their efforts of intimidating them went unnoticed. They would pull out their guns, threatening trainers and didn't hesitate to shoot the trainers or their Pokémon. Ash frowned as he would never understand how they got away with such cruel acts. He figured it was because they had such a large group and he also couldn't help but wonder how he never saw these kinds of things when he was traveling around as a regular trainer. Ash shrugged his shoulders, figuring that the trainers in the service were just too good at keeping these violent acts secret from the public.

It was long before Ash felt a strong wave of sleepiness hit him and had quickly passed out. After all, he hadn't had a proper night's sleep in 6 years. His small yellow rodent Pokémon had curled up on his trainer's chest and also began falling asleep. Pikachu had gotten used to this sleeping position because he was able to quickly respond to any danger that faced Ash, while he was in a vulnerable position.

In Ash's Dream…

I had pinned Giovanni down and yelled at him to release the Pokémon he had contained inside of the glass capsule. Inside of it was a small pink cat-like Pokémon and it was clearly suffering as multiple wires were hooked up to it and electricity was running through the wiring and into the capsule.

"Get off me you prick!" Giovanni yelled at me in a harsh tone. It only served to make me more angry. I grabbed him by the back of his head and pushed it against the large electric current that was sparking out of the wires. I heard him yell in horror as the smell of burning flesh quickly rose to my nose. I wanted to puke, but I held on as his screams were soon silenced. I looked down at the body and the life that I had just taken away, but I didn't feel remorse. The actions Giovanni had done to me, and other people were beyond excruciating. He abused both Pokémon and humans and used his island as an area to test his ideas on humans and Pokémon, he truly was a sick man.

I called over my Pokémon to come help cut the wires to release the capsule that Mew was still stuck in. I saw them rush over and quickly began using their moves to cut the wires clean in half. I watched the capsule open and the pink Pokémon inside fell weakly into my arms.

"It's dying…" I muttered to my Pokémon. I watched as the Pokémon weakly tried to open its eyes, but couldn't.

"Pika Pika Pi!" I heard my yellow partner say as he pointed to a computer in the lab.

I felt my heart sink as I saw that Giovanni's lab results read "100% Complete". He had finished his goal of successfully replicating the pokemon he wanted to wage war with. Did it matter though? The pokemon wouldn't have a leader. It couldn't be violent by nature right? If I had left it on the island, it surely wouldn't make its way back to civilization without somebody. I quickly figured that all threats were neutralized and I could leave. I called Charizard back to his pokeball and I ran out of the building in search of Red who was still nowhere to be found. I ran off back to base, in hopes that that is where he had gone off too.

At Gary's Gym…

"Goddamnit! I swear this gym is rigged!" A frustrated trainer yelled as he tightly balled up his fist.

Gary walked over to the trainer that he had just beaten and tried to calm him down. "Relax...you're an excellent trainer, but you still have a long way to go. I guarantee you the elite four here make me look bad. If you can't bea-" Gary said as he was cut off and shoved.

"Oh shut up! I could probably take on the league without your stupid badge!" The trainer yelled back. Midway through Gary's sentence he had placed his hand on the trainer's shoulder to try and help further calm him down. All it did was make the trainer more mad and caused him to push Gary.

Gary felt anger running through his body, but he tried to relax, he was better than this.

"Listen! Next week, you can reschedule a match with me, I'll leave an open slot for you but come prepared because I'm not dealing with whatever anger issues you have, got it?" Gary said in a stern voice. He hadn't even noticed that he was gripping the trainer's collar.

"No...you know what, fuck your gym!" The trainer said as he took Gary's hand off of his nice collared shirt. "Better hope the league doesn't fire you when they find out about this…" The trainer said as he walked off.

"Shit…" Gary muttered to himself as he thought about what could happen. He knew he probably wouldn't lose his title as the 8th gym leader, but he knew he would be in trouble. He sighed as he packed up his things and made his way out of the gym, making sure to lock it up. He got in his car and drove off towards his house where he found his blue haired girlfriend making dinner.

"Oh hey Gary! How was your day?" His girlfriend asked sweetly, unaware that her boyfriend had just got done having a terrible day.

"It was good, but...it ended pretty bad." Gary replied in a sad tone as he began to explain what had just occurred 30 minutes ago.

"What?! That trainer deserves to get his ass beat!" Dawn replied in an angry manner. She couldn't believe some guy had the nerve to push her boyfriend just because he didn't get what he wanted.

"Right! Anyways...I'm probably going to be called into the league for this. Hopefully I'll still keep my job." Gary said. He had sat down on the chair that they had and he had his head down and resting on his palms, clearly stressed out. Dawn gave a visible frown at her boyfriend and sat down next to him, wrapping her arm around his neck.

"Well...let's worry about that later, I just finished cooking dinner!" Dawn said excitedly, hoping to kill Gary's bad mood.

"What'd you cook?" Gary asked as he raised an eyebrow. He had smelled the wonderful scent when he had walked in, but he was too upset to pay any attention to it.

"Your favorite! I know you love Italian food, so I made lasagna with garlic bread and some gelato for dessert!" Dawn squealed out. Gary chuckled at his girlfriend's behavior.

"Lasagna isn't that hard to cook Dawn." Gary said while laughing. He saw his girlfriend narrow her eyes at him. "Do you want it or not, mister?" She asked him in a tone that he couldn't quite tell if she was serious or not.

"Of course I want it! Thank you baby…" Gary said as he pulled Dawn in for a hug, she had only reached his chest. Dawn returned the hug and buried her head into Gary's chest, finding warmth in his muscular physique. The couple then went over to their table and began eating while talking about what else happened throughout their day.

"I just don't understand Drew, why couldn't you tell me about this?!" May yelled at her boyfriend. They were currently in their apartment room and had been arguing for the past 30 minutes.

"I just didn't want you to feel jealous!" the 20 year old boy countered back. There was a Pokémon coordinating event that had been going on near them and they were doing 2 on 2 battles. May was going to ask her boyfriend to be her partner and she was extremely upset to learn that not only did Drew have a partner already, but that he also didn't even tell her until she asked him to compete with her.

"So you think just hiding it from me is better than just telling me? Yeah okay, that makes sense Drew." May said back sarcastically as she folded her arms. "Who is your partner anyway? You haven't even bothered to tell me that either." May added in, rolling her eyes.

Drew sighed, he knew this would blow up in his face if May learned about it, it probably was best if he just told her.

"...My partner is Solidad." Drew said back hesitantly. May scoffed at this as she aggressively rolled her eyes. Back when May and Drew had begun traveling together, Soledad used to flirt with Drew. It didn't bother May until they had gotten together and Solidad STILL flirted with him. It made it even worse when Drew would defend her actions, often blowing it off and saying that the red haired girl was just joking.

"Solidad?! Drew, you already know how I feel about her, WHY, out of everyone would you partner up with her?! And then you don't even have the decency to even tell me!" May said back angrily.

Drew bit his lip a bit as he realized he couldn't defend his actions. "May...I'm sorry, you're right I should have told you. Drew replied softly, hoping he could get his girlfriend to forgive him.

"You always do these kinds of things Drew! You do things that if I did, you would be pissed at! It honestly seems like you don't even take my feelings into consideration first, you just do what you feel like doing!" May said back in a harsh tone, although she lowered her voice a bit not wanting to get a noise complaint like the last time they fought.

Drew stood there quietly, unable to come up with anything. "...May, I-I'm sorry…"

"No Drew...I'm irritated with you right now! I'm not spending the night here...I'll talk to you later." May said as she packed a couple of clothes and grabbed the keys to her car. She was going to drive down to her parents house and spend the night there since she didn't want to be around the green haired coordinator at the moment.

"I love you!" Drew quickly said as he watched May open the front door and leave. He saw May give him a glance and then grunt something as she closed the door and unlocked her car. He waited near the door and heard her car take off. Drew sighed as ran his hand through his soft hair.

"I guess I'll take a shower…" Drew muttered to himself as he walked up the stairs. He made a mental note to go check up on May the next morning

In The Car with May…

'My god he is such a jerk sometimes! Who does this to their girlfriend!" May thought angrily to herself as she reached her parents house. She had called them and told them that she would be spending the night there. When they asked her why she had just given a lame excuse that she missed the house which was enough for her parents to be okay with. They loved it when their daughter came to visit. May didn't want to tell her parents that she and Drew had been arguing again. It would just result in them feeling disappointed in the green haired boy since he was always the root of their arguments.

May began thinking about her relationship with her boyfriend. They had begun dating around 3 years after Ash had died. When she had learned of Ash's death she didn't feel like she was ready for a relationship anymore as all her thoughts were about her friend's death. Drew stayed around to comfort her and even though May was still heartbroken over her close friend, she was beginning to heal and her and Drew had finally sparked a relationship.

May walked into the house and saw the lights were off. She shrugged her shoulders as she figured that her family must be asleep, it was pretty late after all. May had gone into the kitchen and grabbed a cup of ramen and heated it up. While waiting for her ramen to finish, May went and turned on the T.V. She wasn't surprised that it was on a channel that played and advertised Pokémon battles. She giggled a bit as she realized her Dad must've left it on this channel since he was very into the competitive scene of battling. May heard the microwave finish and ran over to the microwave and opened it up, hoping the loud beeping noise didn't wake anybody up.

She blew off the steam since it was a little hot and grabbed a fork and headed back over to the T.V. She was about to change the channel when she saw they were replaying a match from years ago. It was Ash and Gary's match in the Johto League Conference. This gained her attention as she watched Gary and Ash fight as hard as they could, both were extremely tired but determined. She laughed a bit as she saw the camera had zoomed in on Gary mocking Ash and she soon found herself immersed in the battle, and once again thinking about Ash. She wondered how different things would be if he was still alive. Would he have reached his goal? Probably, Ash was one of the most determined guys she had ever met. May watched the rest of the battle which lasted about 20 more minutes and she turned it off, feeling tired.

May had made her way upstairs and to her shower and undressed herself and allowed the hot water to relax her body. She once again found her thoughts drifting to her boyfriend, making her feel angry once again. She took a deep breath and decided to try and think about other things, like if she was going to try and find someone to be her partner for the event. Her shower lasted 20 minutes and she stepped out and quickly brushed her teeth and got into her night clothes. She curled up into the blankets and her thoughts drifted to her first adventure as she eyed a picture of her Torchic back when she was first starting her journey and all of the good memories Ash had given her on that journey. She smiled as she drifted off to sleep.

At Gary's House...

A brown haired boy was currently on the phone with someone, it sounded like he was constantly apologizing and saying things like "it won't happen again". Dawn had opened her eyes to the sound of her boyfriend on the phone. He was pacing around the room, talking about the event that had unfolded just last night.

Dawn saw Gary sigh as he was finishing up on the phone. "Yeah...I'll be there." Gary said sadly.

"What do you mean there's something else you have to tell me?" Gary asked as he raised an eyebrow. He then heard the phone hang up and looked at it strangely before putting it down and sitting back down on the bed.

"What was that about?" Dawn asked as she let out a yawn and stretched her arms.

"I have to go to the Indigo Plateau today...they heard about the incident and I have to show up to give them my side of the story and hope that I keep my position." Gary said sadly, his day was off to a terrible start.

"Awww I'm sorry Gary! I'm sure everything is going to be fine! You've shown them that you're worthy of keeping your job." Dawn said, trying to help Gary feel more confident about the situation. The 19 year old just shrugged and allowed himself to lay back down on the bed and cuddle with his girlfriend. He set an alarm for when he would have to leave later in the day and felt himself drift back to sleep.

With Ash…

Drake had finally returned from his venture and had successfully brought the raven haired boy back as well. Drake was currently in the Pokémon center that he told Ash he would bring him to and he was talking to a couple of nurse joys about the raven-haired boy.

"He needs medical attention now! That island could've been full of foreign viruses and diseases and his Pokémon may have some too." Drake told them in his regular stern voice. He watched as they listened to him with wide eyes, shocked at the news of Ash's return. As soon as they heard Drake stop talking, they rushed over to Ash who had been placed on a stretcher. They all picked up the stretcher and noticed that it was a bit heavier than expected but continued to rush him down the white and red hallways until they found an empty room. As soon as they got Ash in the room they had to cut off his shirt to fully hook him up to their machines to run tests on him to see if he had any dangerous toxins in his body. They all blushed a bit as they got a full on view of Ash's muscular body.

"It's a masterpiece…" one of the nurse joys accidentally said out loud as she looked at Ash's body. His abs and chest were pretty defined and his forearms had bulging veins running through them. This earned a couple of giggles from the other nurse joys but they also took in just how good looking Ash had become. They had seen him over the years when he was going from league to league trying to become the champion and they had always seen him as a little, dorky kid, but now he was much larger in every single way.

For the next hour they ran scans over Ash and his Pokémon and they were very surprised to see that they were all in perfect health, they had at least expected one of them to have something dangerous in their body. After learning this, they found a couple of clothes that would fit Ash's new height and left the room, letting the boy dream in peace and silence along with his Pokémon who had been taken out of their balls and had crashed out on the floor near Ash.

"Anything come up?" Drake asked the nurse joys as he saw them return. He was currently sitting on one of the white couches that they had placed in the lobby and he was extremely curious to see if Ash was in good health.

"Surprisingly...he's in perfect condition, he doesn't have any sort of illness." One of the nurse joys said back to the intimidating man. Drake raised an eyebrow at this and then nodded his head while he folded his arms across his chest. He opted to speak but decided not to. He simply nodded and walked away, getting ready to tell the secret service that Ash was now off the island and back with them.

Drake pulled out his phone and dialed a number.

Brrr…

Brrr…

Brrr…

"Hello?" A masculine voice asked from the other end.

"Hey Lance, I just got back sailing around. I found one of the trainers you gave permission to join the service to. I've brought him back and we're currently in the Hoenn League Pokémon Center." Drake confidently said into the phone. He heard shuffling around on the phone and heard a door close. Lance must've been trying to get to an area where no one else could hear him.

"Which one did you find?" Lance asked, knowing both of the young adults had previously been in his service.

"I found Ash, he says he has no idea where his partner Red is." Drake said back, answering Lance's question.

A brief silence swept over the two as Drake heard Lance take in a couple deep breaths. Lance had figured that Red must have died and although he was happy that he had cut ties with the two and Red hadn't died under his authority, he couldn't help but feel sorrow for the possible death.

"I see...this kind of news is going to break the world when they see that he's returned. I'm sure Scotty plans on inviting him to the World Tournament." Lance said, feeling a bit uneasy about what might happen in the next few days. He was confident that Ash would keep his mouth shut about them, but he wasn't 100% sure if Ash would be able to.

Drake was about to speak until he heard Lance speak up again. "I need you to tell Ash that he must keep his mouth shut about our service. He can talk about the island and what happened there, but he must NOT mention anything about us. I'm sure you can find a way to drill that into his head." Lance said back.

"Understood sir, so it's fine if Ash attends the tournament right?" Drake asked, wanting to confirm his thoughts. Every year there was a Pokémon World Tournament that a rich man named Scotty held, where only the strongest of trainers were allowed to compete. Sometimes champions and elite four members competed there and whoever won, was crowned as King or Queen of the Pokémon World until the next year, and they would have to battle to try and keep their title.

"Yes, it's fine if he goes, but if he gets interviewed or see's his old friends, he must keep his mouth shut." Lance said back sternly.

"Understood." Drake simply said before he heard the other end of the line hang up. Drake looked at his phone to confirm he was no longer on a call. He stepped outside and the tall man stared out into the vast ocean. He planned on waiting here until Ash had woken up.

A couple hours later…

Word had now spread around to the members of the secret service of Ash's return. A blonde woman had just called in a purple haired elite four member. He was around 6'1 and he was making his way into the room where his boss had called him in.

"What is it Cynthia?" He asked as he sat down in the brown chair that was in front of Cynthia's desk. The room was fairly big and the table was made of expensive marble and the floor was made out of fine wood.

"What was your relation to the trainer Ash Ketchum?" Cynthia asked instantly, not wanting to beat around the bush.

"A-Ash?" Paul said as he stumbled on his words a bit. He hadn't heard that name in years. After he had learned of Ash's death, he had embarked on a new journey with a new mindset. He began to treat his Pokémon with care and used strategy rather than relying on his emotions during battles. He quickly became a very good trainer and beat all 8 gyms at Sinnoh and challenged the league. He just barely lost to Cynthia and earned his spot as the fourth elite four member in the Sinnoh league. Cynthia looked at him, waiting for an answer.

Paul picked up on this and quickly gathered his thoughts.

"Ash and I were rivals before he passed away. He was no doubt one of the only trainers to actually give me a challenge." Paul responded.

"I see... well I'm sure you'd be happy if I had told you that Ash was still alive." Cynthia said calmly. She smirked as she saw Paul raise an eyebrow at her.

"What…" Paul muttered. He couldn't tell if his boss was joking with him, but he figured there was no way his boss would ask him what his relation to Ash was and then just joke that he was still alive.

"Paul, I know that you know of the secret service since I'm part of it, and I have just learned that Ash has made a sudden return. I'm telling you this because he'll most likely be attending the Pokemon World Tournament that's being held at the Indigo Plateau, and I'm sure you'd like to meet back up with your old rival. So I'll be giving you the week off and the League will be closed for the week unless you return early." Cynthia finished saying. She was a very nice person and she knew that even though they were rivals, Paul most likely wanted to catch up with Ash again.

Paul was still in shock and was processing what was happening.

"Where has he been?" Paul asked.

"You can find out when you see him again." Cynthia said calmly as she got up and began to leave the room. She allowed Paul to stay as she saw him still sitting for a couple seconds, processing the information.

"I'm sorry sir, I assure you it won't happen again. I was pushed first and I tried to tell him that he could have a rematch with me next week and I guess out of blind anger I grabbed his shirt." Gary said, trying to sound professional. He was currently talking to his red haired boss in his office.

"I see, well...just don't let it happen again or you WILL lose your job, you understand me?" Lance said in a stern voice to Gary. When he had first heard of the incident, he felt disappointed that his region's strongest gym leader had acted out of line. He felt proud to say that his region held some of the strongest trainers and he definitely didn't want to lose Gary as a gym leader since he held such a strong grip on his title.

"I understand, like I said, it won't happen again sir." Gary said, feeling a bit intimidated by his boss although he was more disappointed in himself. The two had a noticeable silence as Gary watched Lance stare down at his dark wooden desk. There were paintings all over the wall that had a very recognizable orange dragon painted on them.

"So...you said you wanted to speak with me about something else?" Gary said, remembering their phone call earlier.

"Yes, about that...what I'm about to tell you is going to shock you." Lance said calmly, now looking the brown haired boy in the eyes. Gary gulped a bit, getting ready for what Lance had to say.

Lance took in a deep breath as he opened his mouth to talk.

"Your old friend Ash is back…"

Annnd that is it for this chapter! I wanted to get this chapter out a bit earlier but I've been really busy with school work and turning in presentations and crap. I've also been going over this story, trying to make sure all grammatical errors were fixed, and that all the details that I wanted to add were in here.

Again, like I mentioned before, I have also updated chapter 1. It won't change any of the plot, but a couple of details will be changed/added to give a bit more explanation to what's going on. Red's story is far from complete, he may be missing for now but expect to see some more of him.

Also, a new character is now added in this chapter and I am very excited to give him a small side story! I do have two more characters that I want to add in, but their roles are so minor that I only want to add them in when it's necessary.

So far I still only have 1 review, but that is enough to keep me going! I would definitely appreciate more reviews just to see what you guys are liking and not liking. I know I had mentioned in chapter 1 that May had feelings for Drew (*tries not to vomit) and that that happened 6 years ago and that they've only been dating for 3, but I think it's pretty realistic that if a close friend of yours had passed away, that you may not feel ready for a relationship yet, I know I wouldn't.

Anyways, please leave your reviews, I love reading them! And I hope you enjoyed this chapter!
