Aberforth and Aurelius stood next to each other in front of the Hog's Head fireplace. Aberforth passed over a pot of white powder to Aurelius and stepped forward into the fire place with a shout of 'The Leaky Cauldron'. Instantly green flames erupted from the grate and Aberforth disappeared just as quickly as the flames had, Aurelius cautiously moved up to the grate. He had never travelled by floo powder before and he was slightly frightened. Taking a deep breath, making sure that he would say the correct name of the location, threw the powder into the grate and stepped into them, clearly pronouncing the location's name. Aurelius felt the warm tingle of the flames on his body and felt his body shoot up into the place where the chimney was. Bumping against the side of the floo network Aurelius pulled in his arms that were being badly bruised.
With a thud, Aurelius fell upon the floor of a dark, musty bar. As he stood, he saw Aberforth over by the bar talking to a small, crooked man, with a balding head. Suddenly the bar went silent, all eyes turned to Aurelius, awkwardly he smiled up at a group of witches sitting up at a table with a big cauldron between them. A crowd was beginning to gather around him and he was starting to panic, Aurelius tried to catch his father's eye. He couldn't find him now with the mass of witches, wizards and what looked like a warlock.
'Move away' shouted a hoarse, gravely voice. A man with a large bushy beard and small pinprick eyes started pushing people aside. 'If you put a hand on him. I'll send you straight to St. Mungo's I swear.' The crowd dispersed and the man pulled Aurelius through with a rough tug on his arm. He felt his feet leave the floor as the large man pulled him through the crowd towards Aberforth. 'Here you go, Mr. Aberforth.'
'Thank you, Hagrid, much appreciated.' Hagrid beamed. 'Here, Aurelius. Meet one of my oldest friends, this is Tom. The innkeeper of this pub.' Tom's face shone when he looked down at Aurelius.
In a regional tone he spoke down at Aurelius, 'Ah, young Mr. Dumbledore. Aberforth has told me great things, alas it must be your first year.' Aurelius nodded looking up at this old man. 'Well through those doors to the back and we can buy you your school things.'
The party of Hagrid, Aurelius and Aberforth made their way through the doors. Aberforth took out his wand, as they walked into the back room. Aurelius thought that it only looked like a back room where the disposal was left. But Aberforth walked straight up to the wall and tapped one of the brick, as he tapped this brick the wall began to fall away revealing a street of absolute wonder.
