(Vincent's Pov)
I looked at Clementine as she just looked to the front of the car and I lean back a bit just to give her some time to think. Though it didn't have to take long she just sat there and took a breath. I wanted to give her some time before she spoke.
"Yea I guess but I don't have feelings for him anymore." She says and I agreed with her on this I've seen it happen more times than many, and it sometimes didn't end well especially if it was a bad relationship.
"Trust me he will learn over time that people lose feelings but if you feel uncomfortable around him then you could just stay next to me, I don't think he'd bother you if I'm around." I tell her and she nods at this. The others park next to us and I get out Clementine following behind.
"This is going to be so fun." I hear Gabe say and I looked to them and nod a bit as they walked up to us.
"So, Vincent what exactly do you do on your free time?" Gabe asked as I paid for my ticket along with Clementine's and I hand them to her to hold. We all walked over to the entrance of the fair and showed our tickets to the person up front, the let us pass through and I looked around for a bit as I thought on what to say.
"Uh, watch videos and stuff nothing really fun in all honesty." I say as we walked around the fair grounds as we tried to figure out what we were going to do for the day.
"Oh, so you don't go to any parties?" He asked. I felt a bit taken back from his question but still answered.
"Sometimes but I'm not a party animal to be honest." I tell him as we all walk around a bit.
"Come on a lot of musicians do some things even they would regret later on." He says and I look at him confused.
"Uh, what do you mean by regret?" I asked.
"Well, I mean if a person did drugs or stuff, like they got out of control, not saying you do any of that it's just an example you know." He says and I looked to him more and shook my head.
"Uh, no I don't drink anymore or do any substance abuse." I tell him and he looked to me and nods as he walks ahead of us and I shook my head at this.
"Hey let's got on the roller coaster." Duck says and I agreed to this as I walked with Clementine as we waited in the line to get on the roller coaster, after a while we finally got to the front and we were able to be seated, I was next to Clementine where as Mariana was next to Sarah, Duck was with Duck and Becca was with a stranger. We pulled the bar down to keep us in place and I looked to Clementine as she looked excited and I smiled at this.
"You like roller coasters?" I asked.
"I love them, especially when you sit at the front and it's night time it's amazing." She says and I nod in agreement.
"Definitely, when I went to the amusement park after one gig, I made sure to try it out." I say and the worker talks on the radio as the ride starts to move forward. I was able to get a look around as we got to the top and it was a beautiful sight to see. Then came the drop and I heard Clementine and others yell. I couldn't help but yell either in excitement as we hit a loop and upside down. After a few twists and turns we finally got to the end of the ride and I looked to Clementine who looked backed to me and we laughed a bit as we got out and waited for the others. I looked to Sarah who was holding onto Mariana as she tried to stay steady from the ride.
"What should we do next?" Duck asked as we looked around some more. I looked to see a building called Mirror Maze and I point to it.
"Want to see who can get out of there the fastest?" I asked.
"Hell yea." Becca says as we head to the building. We were given a pair of gloves so we don't smudge the mirrors and we were let in and so began the race. I felt around the mirror a bit and turned to one corner where I accidentally bumped into Clem who looked up to me and we laughed a bit as we worked together to get out the maze.
"You ever done this before?" She asked.
"Yea, Louis, Mitch, Marlon and I did this all the time Mitch would always win though." I say as we felt around some more.
"You seem to have had a lot of fun with your band mates." She says and I nod a bit.
"I did, this was before we became famous that is when our school had those small fundraiser things, afterwards we didn't get to have much fun because…. People would judge every little thing we did." I tell her and I found the exit and we walked out to see Mariana and Sarah.
"Cool, you guys are in second place." Mariana says and we wait for the others. Duck came out next then it was Becca and last was Gabe. We threw the gloves away and looked around some more for any other activities, we rode most of the rides and the sun was starting to set a bit and I stretch a bit as we went to go and grab a bite to eat.
"Anything you want? My treat." I hear Clem say as I looked to the menu.
"Hmm, just a hot dog and a root beer if that's ok?" I asked and she nodded as she got the food. I helped her as we all met at the designated table and we began to eat.
"So, you travel a lot, right? How's it like being on the road?" Duck asked and I looked up a bit.
"It's kind of fun till you feel homesick." I tell him.
"Oh, you miss your family?" Sarah asked and I nod a bit.
"Yea, I actually miss my mom a lot." I say and thought about my mother for a bit.
"I heard you use to go to a school for troubled youth, is that true?" Gabe asked and I drank my root beer a bit.
"It's not a secret, my entire band was from the same school." I tell him.
"Oh, that's cool I guess." He says and I look at him a bit confused. I feel Clementine sit a little closer to me and I looked to her and smiled at her as I feel a bit of a cold breeze hit us. I feel her shiver a bit and I take my shirt off and place it on her shoulders, though it wasn't long sleeved it would still keep her warmed up a bit. She looked up to me a bit shocked and I smiled as she held it closer to her and I looked back to Gabe.
"Hey maybe we should stop asking Vincent about all this." Sarah says and I couldn't agree with her more.
"Well, I just want to know one thing, why did you leave the band?" Gabe asked and I looked to him.
"Hmm, don't want to talk about that in all honesty." I tell him and I eat my food.
"It couldn't have been that bad though, besides I'm just curious." He says.
"You and thousands of other people." I say after I swallowed my food. He dropped the topic and after we were done Gabe and the others had to head home but Clementine and I stayed at the fair just for a bit longer and we just walked around looking at the smaller games, where you could win stuffed animals that ranged from, small, medium, and large.
"Sorry about Gabe." She says and I shrug.
"I've delt with worse in all honesty, I'm just glad he dropped the topic." I say honestly and I looked at the balloon stands and see a stuffed toy. I decide to pay for the game and threw a few of the darts at the balloons and popped about five out of the eight I paid for. That was able to get me the medium sized prizes and I picked the stuffed panda and I turned to Clementine and handed the bear to her.
"Wait really?" She asked and I nod as she grabbed the bear and I smiled as I placed my hands behind my back.
"Thought I should get you something to remember me by when I leave." I say as we walk away from the game.
"Hey memories are enough for me." She says and I looked to her.
"Yea but still." I muttered a bit as we walked more, we then decided to go onto the fairs wheel that they had and we took a seat and looked around a bit as we slowly went up to the top the fairs wheel stopped at the very top and I looked to Clementine as she looked around as well. I then heard some popping sounds and then a loud explosion. We both turned to see the fireworks going off and we just watched them.
"Didn't know they were going to set fireworks tonight." I hear Clementine say and I nod in agreement. We just watched the fireworks as they finished them up and I stretched a bit to crack my back, we then decided to head to my car as we got off the ride and I set the bear in the back for her. As we got in, I sat for a bit before I started up the car and began to drive for some time since Clementine didn't have to go home just yet. I turned on the radio and it was automatically on the news station.
"We have gotten some news on the band, 'The Walking Dead' they have been looking for a new guitarist/singer for their band as seen posted by Minerva on her Facebook page, it does seem the band is doing well with their search for the new band mate, and it seems they have no worries about the old Singer Vincent though I think they wanted to get rid of him since the beginning or even when he proposed to Minerva, the only reason we say this is because of the post that Minerva had made two weeks ago stating 'If I could turn back time I would change my mind on the engagement I would have not said yes if I knew this was going to happen though I don't really regret the yes, I would like to have had the chance to change my mind in that moment' man does that sound brutal." I hear this and sigh a bit at this information as I drive more.
"Hey it's ok Vincent." Clementine says and I nod as I listen in more.
"We had gotten some news about the whereabouts of Vincent though, the last time he was seen was about a week ago in Tennessee, seems he's been doing fine, though he hasn't posted anything from his last post which was about his and Minerva's engagement since he isn't and active user of social media since Louis the pianist was the one in control of their bands social media platforms, we would really like to do an interview of the reason for his leave but since we can't really get ahold of him it must have been something bad, some people have theories ranging from Drugs, Alcohol, even physical abuse to Minerva has been theorized by people though I wouldn't take it to heart because we don't know." I hear this as I drove more I was a bit pissed at the last comments made on why they think I left the band so I then decided to turn the channel to my phone with Bluetooth and listen to that music that played on shuffle.
"Hey you want to go to a quiet place to just relax?" I hear Clementine ask and I nod a bit.
"Yea that would be great right now." I say as she tells me the directions to go to this quiet place. It's about a good thirty minutes before we get to a lake and I park my car in the gravel area and we both get out. We head down the boat ramp and take a seat and I listen to the frogs and soft splashes of the waves.
"I like to come here to think a lot." Clementine tells me and I smiled and nod.
"Yea seems like a great place for that type of stuff." I looked up to see the stars and I try to make shapes with them.
"Know anything about stars?" She asked.
"Nothing, but I like making shapes with them." I say and point to one section.
"There's a heart see it?" I asked and she looked at where my finger was pointed and she smiled.
"So cool." She says amazed and I nod and I look around.
"Oh, look a fish." She says and I look to see the star shaped fish she was pointed out and I smiled as I do see it.
"Woah."
"This is fun." She says and I nod in agreement.
"Yea I use to do this a lot when I was little." I admit to her and I look up at the sky more.
"Was it just as fun?" She asked and I think a bit.
"Nah, it's better now, Minerva wouldn't even do this with me." I tell her and I looked to the lake.
"Why wouldn't she? This is actually fun." She says and I shrugged a bit at the question.
"She uh, said it was childish, so I honestly stopped doing this because I didn't want to seem like a child to her." I say and pull my legs up to my chest a bit as I watched the waves a bit.
"What's childish is her acting as if she doesn't do anything fun." I hear her mutter and I couldn't help but laugh at this and she looked to me and I smiled.
"Yea I can understand what you're saying, it's pretty petty of her to do that, but at the time I wasn't thinking and thought she was right." I explained and I looked around the waters a bit.
"Still, she shouldn't say things like that." She says and I nod.
"Yea I agree." I say and then I hear a phone go off and look to Clementine who answered her phone.
"Oh, hey dad… yea I'm just hanging out with my friend…. No not like that… yes, he's being nice to me dad…. Ok… yea… ok love you too… bye." She says and I look at her.
"Sorry my dad wants me to get back home." She says and I nod as I get up and then help her up. We head back to my car and I drove to her house. She lived in a nice suburban area as I made the turn she pointed to her home and I nod as I park in the driveway. I see the front door lights come on and the door opened to show an older man looking at the car and I hear Clementine sigh a bit so I turn to her to see her smiling.
"He worries too much but he's a nice man." She says and I nod as I get out the car and grabbed her new panda bear stuffed animal. She got out to and I handed it to her and she smiled at me.
"Thanks for the fun Vincent." She says and I nod. And she was about to take off the shirt but I stopped her.
"Nah keep it, looks good on you." I tell her.
"You sure?" She asked and I nod and she smiled.
"Thank you." She says and I smiled.
"You know, it was fun to actually hang out without having to worry about people making assumptions." I tell her and I rubbed my neck a bit and I looked to her.
"Well, I hope to see you again… maybe?" She asked and I looked to her and I nod at this.
"We can hang out tomorrow? I don't think I want to leave town just yet." I tell her and she smiled and nods.
"Yea tomorrow is fine just after I finish school, and practice." She says and I nod as she tells me her school's name and when she finishes practice. She then heads to her house and talked a bit to her dad and I wave at him a bit as he looked to me and he nods and waves back, Clementine waves bye to me and I get in my car and head back to the Motor Inn Motel. I talk to Mark at the front desk and got another room and added a few more days to stay, I then headed into the room and I laid on the bed a bit and think as I call Brody.
"VINCENT!" I hear her yell and I move my phone away from my ear and I couldn't help but chuckle at this as I placed the phone back to my ear.
"Hey Brody, you around anyone?" I asked.
"No, what's up I haven't heard from you in so long." She says and I feel bad about not calling her, she has been my friend longer than Louis has in all honesty.
"I know, I'm sorry about that but um, how's everyone?" I asked her.
"Well, everyone seems to be doing ok, Mitch misses blowing things up with you." She says and I chuckled at this.
"Well, I just saw some fireworks a while ago so you can tell him that." I tell her and it went silent for a bit.
"When uh… when will you be coming back home?" She asked and I knew this was to be asked from her.
"Not too sure, I'm kind of having fun with the traveling alone." I explained.
"Oh." She says and I could hear the sadness in her voice an I sigh a bit.
"I'm really sorry Brody, I do miss you guys a lot but I'll come visit you guys one day." I tell her.
"You better I'll give you backstage passes if I have to so you have no choice but to come." She says and I laughed at this.
"We really miss you though Vincent, it's not fun anymore." She says and I nod a bit.
"Hey it's fine, I heard you guys are looking for a new member for the band so it can't be all that bad." I say.
"Minerva suggested it the day you left, none of us wanted to, but it's been a long time now that we kind of have no choice." She says and I nod in agreement.
"Yea I know… anyway how are you doing?" I asked and we talked for a few hours and I yawned a bit as I got tired.
"Oh, I'm sorry for keeping you up." She says.
"No, it's fine, don't worry." I tell her and I yawned again.
"Go to bed Vincent we can talk another time." She says.
"Alright, we'll talk later Brody." I say and we hang up and I just look at the ceiling a bit as I relaxed a bit. I decided to play some music on my phone for a bit and I listen to it.

I was starting to get a bit tired as the music still played and I closed my eyes for a bit before I was finally able to fall asleep and be well rested for my day out with Clementine tomorrow, hoping it will go well tomorrow as well.
