Luz continues to live and learn from the criminal known as the Owl Lady, Eda. Introduces Edas curse and Luz comes to the conclusion if people had access to all magic fields than maybe there would be a cure for her. She learns more and more about this unfair system. Focuses on one track for life, cant even learn about other fields. The unsettled feeling she had surrounding the prison grew. Luz agreed with Eda about covens. Luz decides she wants to become stronger to protect others. Suggests to Eda to expand their "coven". Eda had mixed feelings.
