Ok, I needed to brainstorm what I wanted to do for this fic, so now I know!

But Mya and Kaitlyn will be at my house later, so the other chapters might be better than this one...

But as always, Enjoy!

Chapter 1

After Mike called everyone else, he saved Stan for last. He was a little nervous because he hasn't seen him ever since Stan had (and wanted to) move out of Derry.

Mike didn't blame him, seeing that there was more "missing" kids then there were found, and rude bullies who do even more cruel jokes. Not to mention the murderous clown with an innocent name like Pennywise (ok... not that innocent *shiver*) who can shapeshift into any form to scare them. This asshole knows everyone's fears and secrets.

So Stan left Derry, Maine as soon as he had the chance. But not Mike. He stayed back just in case the clown ever came back. And yes, this bitch did. Mike is a little hesitant about calling him because Stanley Uris isn't exactly the brave type (we all know it)...

But he dialed his number anyway. After a while, he heard a voice on the other line. "H-hello?"

Mike held his breath and started to talk. "This is Mike."

Stan made a hesitant sound. "Mike... Mike who?"

Yikes. Guess what Mike read was true. When you leave Derry, so do your memories. "Mike Hanlon? From Derry."

And just like that... a memory hit Stan hard.

Flashback...

13 year old Stan was at the carnival (which is creepier in Derry) staying close to the other losers. "This place is so stupid." He said.

"It would be better if we had dates." Ben pointed out. "Bill has Beverly. Eddie and Richie are together (even though they wont admit it) and that leaves you, me and Mike all alone in this corner."

"It isn't that bad." Mike encouraged. "It just means we can hang out together! That sound good?"

Ben shrugged. "Alright..."

Stan smiled slightly. "Ok, but let's stay close. That stupid clown could be here."

Mike nodded and grabbed them by the shoulders. "Which means we shall stay together. We're the awesome threesome."

"That sounds like you guys should be blowing each other." Richie laughed from behind them, making all of them jump.

"Rich! You can't do that in Derry!" Stan yelled. "You asshole!"

"We thought you guys saw us walk up." Eddie said.

"Where's Bill and Bev?" Ben asked.

"We don't know." Richie answered. "Probably stopped by a bathroom to-"

"Don't say that!" Ben screamed, earning a few stares.

Richie stared at him with wide eyes. "What the fuck is wrong with you?"

Ben put his head down. "Nothing." To the other losers, it was super obvious that Ben Hanscom had a crush on Beverly, and kind of jealous of Bill (not a lot, but a little) but apparently, Richie didn't catch onto that.

Just then, Bill and Beverly walked up. Bev was holding a giant teddy bear. "Hey guys!"

"Did ol' Billy-boy win you a teddy bear?" Richie asked in a (terrible) Australian accent.

Beverly laughed. "He tried to. I won this for myself after Bill finally gave up."

"The g-game was r-rigged." Bill stuttered.

All the losers started to talk about what games were rigged and which ones weren't. They kept the conversation going while they got popcorn and candy apples. "I'm telling you man, that fucker with the 'magic ball' is a fake." Richie told them.

"Madam Maria?" Beverly said as she lit a cigarette. "She's a fake like all the rest of the people in the world who dress up to entertain."

"Like a clown!" Richie laughed.

"Yes, but bad example." Bev pointed out taking a puff.

"We should go home." Stan had said. "That clown-"

"Shut the fuck up about the fucking clown!" Richie sighed. "He isn't here. He's probably having dinner with a crazy ass woman like Eddie's mom."

Eddie gasped. "My mom wouldn't go out tonight because her shows are on. That's how I snuck out."

"Maybe we sh-should go." Bill said. "The c-clown always comes when we're having fun, right?"

"But it's the carnival!" Ben said. "Can we at least stay for a few more minutes?"

Bill thought about it, then he nodded slowly. "Only a-about ten more m-minutes."

Beverly stood up. "Ok. Where do you guys want to go first?" She asked Ben and Bill.

"Anywhere is f-fine." Bill answered.

Ben pointed at the teddy bear under Bev's arm and smiled. "I bet I can beat you in that clown game." He didn't wanted to play against her (because Bev is hard to beat at anything) but he wanted to spend some time with her.

Bev smiled and discarded her cigarette. "You're on!" They walked away, Bill behind them, Richie, Eddie, and Mike behind him.

Mike turned around once he noticed that Stan wasn't moving. "Why isn't Stan coming?"

"He's probably freaked or something." Richie mumbled as he walked more closely to Eddie. "Stan always gets like that."

"I'll catch up with you guys." Mike said. "I'm gonna check on him." He waved at the losers and made his wat to where Stan was sitting alone. "You ok Stan the man?" He asked lightly.

"I don't want to be here." Stan whispered. "It's fucking creepy and cold."

Mike sat next to him. "Yeah, it is... but maybe you can try to enjoy it? Try to have fun?"

Stan shook his head. "Not with all the stuff going on in Derry. I don't like being here. It's fucking... scary!"

"It is..." Mike agreed under his breath. "But that's the thing about being scared. You just pretend you're not. That's what my grandpa always tells me."

"Your grandpa hasn't met Pennywise I presume." Stan huffed.

"Hey, how about we hang close together?" Mike said. "You know what they say? Safety in numbers."

"I don't know..."

Mike grabbed his hand. "Come on Stan. Let's go. Everybody else is going to go to Madam Maria later."

"She's creepy to." Stan replied gripping Mike's hand tighter. "Can we just stay here for a while? Just until the others are ready to go home?"

Mike nodded. "Yeah. We'll just wait here." He said.

So for the rest of the time they were there, Stan and Mike sat there talking about different things, holding hands the whole time. When the losers came, Stan was half asleep, leaning his head on Mike's shoulder.

Back to Now...

"Mikey..." Stan whispered on the line.

"Hey Stan. It's me." Mike said, smiling.

"It's been so long." Stan continued. "I live somewhere else... I have a house... I'm married..."

"You are?" Mike asked feeling a tug of jealousy at his heart.

"Yeah." Stan answered slowly. "Is..."

"You need to come back to Derry." Mike interrupted.

Stan whined. "I can't. I have this thing to do..."

"Stan, you made a promise." Mike said. "Losers stick together."

There was a long silence over the phone, then a sigh. "I'm coming."

To be continued...
