In the future, the Human World is connected by a network. Inhabiting it is an unknown life form called Digimon.
Lucas Blake is a boy who is enjoying his Summer Break.
He finds out that his family had been caught in the cyberterrorism in Mid Houston.
Called by a mysterious voice, Lucas is swallowed into the world of the Network.
He encounters a mysterious life form called Digimon and…
-The Network-
Mike: Looks like the American Military's tactical data network is being targeted! A weapon will go out of control next. If that happens, it'll be the end of the world!
But Lucas and Greymon didn't pay much attention as they saw something from the top of the pillar where the Jellyfish Digimon were.
Standing there was a giant beast resembling a Wolf, and sitting on his back is another Human that is the same age as Lucas.
Lucas: Another… Human?
The giant beast then started to growl and jumped down the pillar, and he was headed straight for Greymon.
?: Graah!
Lucas: Hey, wait!
Lucas stood in front of Greymon with his arms raised in hopes of stopping him from attacking. But then the Wolf Digimon jumped above them, Lucas and the boy caught each other's eyes. It is then that Lucas and Greymon saw that their target were two Jellyfish Digimon that were coming behind them.
?: Howling Blaster!
The Wolf Digimon unleashed blue flames from his mouth, incinerating one of the Jellyfish, before hitting the last one with a slap of his tail. It got back up after landing on the ground and fired small green shots from its eye that opened, only to be stomped and destroyed by the Wolf Digimon. The Wolf then looked at Greymon and gave a smile at him.
?: You owe me one.
Greymon couldn't help but laugh a little at that.
Greymon: Heh, so you were alive.
Lucas was surprised that Greymon knew this Digimon, but then he turned his attention back to the boy on the Wolf's back.
Lucas: That's a Human, right?
The boy just ignored him as he looked at the Wolf Digimon.
?: Let 's go, Garurumon.
The Wolf Digimon, now known as Garurumon, felt a little unsure about leaving Greymon and his Human friend.
Garurumon: But…
The boy just looked silently at Lucas, who was still surprised to see another Human here.
?: We have to go.
Garurumon then relented and started running so fast it created a gust of wind that nearly pushed Lucas. Lucas looked at the two going up ahead, until Greymon called his attention.
Greymon: Lucas. Let 's go too.
Episode 2: War Game
The boy and Garurumon were still running up ahead, not knowing that Lucas and Greymon were chasing him. The boy with the goggles sat on Greymon's left horn as he looked at the two up ahead.
Lucas: That Digimon's fast!
Greymon: Yeah!
Lucas: Huh?
Lucas then noticed something up ahead. There were seven more Jellyfish Digimon heading straight for the boy and Garurumon.
Lucas: Greymon!
Greymon: Nova Blast!
Greymon fired a big ball of fire, destroying the enemy Digimon and catching the boy and Garurumon's attention as they stopped. They turned around and saw Greymon and Lucas coming towards them.
Greymon: I paid you back!
Lucas: Isn't Greymon awesome?
Garurumon only smirked at Lucas' enthusiasm.
Lucas: You guys are trying to stop these wild Digimon too, right? Let's do it together! I'm Lucas Blake! I've got another friend. I'll introduce you!
The boy just closed his eyes at this while Lucas called Mike from his device.
Lucas: Mike, are you watching?
Mike's holographic image appeared from the device.
Lucas: I made a friend!
The boy became a little irked when Lucas said that.
Mike: Yes! Um, nice to meet you… My name is Mike Lee.
?: Where is this guy?
Lucas: Around Houston Metro Station!
The boy became surprised when he heard that, though Lucas saw it as something else.
Lucas: Oh, you never heard of it? Where are you from?
BEEP!
Mike: Huh?
Mike turned his attention to his laptop as new information appeared, one that shocked him.
Mike: Lucas, save the introduction for later! I'm starting to see the military's tactics!
Lucas: Seriously?!
In the computer screens of the military, there were many errors on it and the personnel had trouble figuring what's going on.
Mike: Looks like the attacks have allowed control of all command systems. It's unconfirmed, but their defense programs seem to have no effect either.
Garurumon: This isn't looking good.
?: How do you know this?
Lucas: Mike's awesome! He looks up everything!
Mike: I'm also connected to people who are web experts. Those people tell me everything.
?: Isn't that called classified information?
Lucas: That's why Mike's so awesome!
Lucas then looked at the boy in the eye.
Lucas: Hey, don't you think we'll be stronger if we form a team?
?: (Sigh)...
The boy sighed at that, but knew that he had too.
?: It's Lee, right?
Mike was surprised when the boy called him by his surname.
Mike: Uh, yes.
?: This is Garurumon. I'm Kyle Robinson. I look forward to your support.
Mike and Lucas were ecstatic at that.
Mike: Of course, Kyle!
Lucas: All right! Let's work together as a team…
Kyle: Go.
The boy, known as Kyle, told Garurumon to move again while leaving Lucas in mid sentence.
Lucas: Uh?! H-Hey?! I said let's go together!
Kyle didn't listen as Lucas and Greymon chased after him and Garurumon again.
Lucas: Geez.
Lucas crossed his arms in annoyance at Kyle's attitude. Kyle then started communicating to Mike.
Kyle: Hey, Lee.
Mike: Huh?
Kyle: What's happening with that military system now?
Mike: Y-Yes.
Mike started searching for any information on that in his laptop.
Mike: It looks like they're trying to regain control, but it seems like there's no progress yet.
Mike then looked at the device in his hand as he had a question.
Mike: So you have this too, right Kyle?
Kyle: Yeah.
The new boy didn't bother saying his name which Mike noticed.
Mike: He can just call me Mike.
Lucas a question of his own as well.
Lucas: Where did he come from?
He then looked at the device in his hand.
Lucas: It feels like he knows more about this world than us…
Mike then received new information in his laptop, and it wasn't good.
Mike: I see some alarming information on my timeline!
Mike double checked the information, and he knew it was very much worse than the last problem.
Mike: They said watch out for a nuclear submarine!
That news shocked Lucas to the core.
Lucas: A Submarine?!
-Under the Atlantic Ocean-
Deep in the Atlantic ocean, the rotor of the Submarine started spinning and the vessel started rising into the surface.
Captain: HQ, Emergency! Our ship is falling into an uncontrollable state! It is now out of our hands and rapidly surfacing!
The men on the computers tried to take back things under control, but the screens were all glitchy.
NS Worker: Captain! The missile launch control is activating!
Captain: What?!
-The Network-
This is all the work of the wild Digimon as they infested the system.
Mike: I've gotten information that there's been a command on a nuclear Submarine in the Atlantic to attack! It's preparing for a missile launch!
That information was shocking to Lucas.
Lucas: Say what?! Mike, when is it gonna launch?! Where is it targeting?!
Mike: I only have bits and pieces of information right now…
Kyle: Lee. Where's the area that's controlling that missile? The Digimon causing this should be there.
Mike knew where Kyle was going with this. He then began working hard on his laptop to find the route where the enemy Digimon are.
Mike: If I analyze all the information up to now, I may be able to find a route into the military's system! No, I will find it!
Mike has a determined look in his eyes as he continues his search.
Mike: Please give me some time!
Lucas: We're counting on you, Mike!
-Houston Metro, Mid Houston, Texas, United States-
Back to one of the Trains that stopped people are working to lead the passengers out. One of them is Lucas' Mother as she felt relieved that they were out of danger. Rebecca got off the Train too before looking at the sky, like if she knew that something else was going to happen.
-The Network-
Mike was done analyzing as it was completed and now he has the information they needed.
Mike: I found a route in!
Lucas: Way to go, Mike!
Mike then showed from the devices a holographic map of the Network.
Mike: This is the route in from both of your locations! With this, you can get there in the shortest amount of time.
Lucas and Greymon looked down from a ledge and saw the energy-data stream beneath there.
Mike: There isn't much time left! I wish you two good luck!
Lucas: Leave it to us! Let's go, Greymon!
Greymon: Yeah!
Greymon and Lucas then jumped down into the stream of data, followed by Garurumon and Kyle.
Back in the Atlantic Ocean, the Nuclear Submarine was near reaching the surface.
The two boys and their Digimon were going through a familiar triangle tunnel with colorful cubes flying around. The people in the Submarine were working hard to take back control from the Submarine and stop the missile launch, but it was all in vain as the countdown began. The missile will launch in 3 minutes.
Lucas and Greymon have reached the end of the tunnel. They exited the tunnel, only to see they were a little far from the floor.
Lucas and Greymon: WAAH!
They landed hard on the ground facefirst.
Greymon stood back up as he looked at Lucas.
Greymon: You okay, Lucas?
Lucas stood back up as he was okay somehow.
Lucas: Yeah… Huh?
But as Lucas looked up ahead, he saw that the place is infested with the same Jellyfish Digimon, who are turning the structures a sickly purple from where they're touching.
Mike: Lucas! That's the missile's network! Please get rid of the Digimon causing this! There's two minutes and ten seconds until the missile is launched!
Lucas and Greymon looked at the damage the wild Digimon has done, until they all notice the duo.
Greymon: Here they come!
The swarm began attacking Greymon as the Dinosaur Digimon destroyed a few of them with his claws and tail.
Greymon: RRAAAAHH!
He destroyed a few more before firing a Nova Blast at them. Lucas also helped fight them, but he knew how outnumbered they are.
Lucas: If there's this many, we'll never make it!
But then Lucas saw something up ahead. While big as the one they fought, there was a big purple Jellyfish Digimon with a green underside that sprouted green cables that helped it stand. On its sides are vine-like arms with the end forming a morningstar. It has three antennas and its one eye is yellow with a red pupil.
Lucas: Isn't that… the boss? It's the biggest one!
An explosion appeared behind the boss and the other Digimon as they turned around and saw Garurumon and Kyle jumping on one or the floating rocks, followed by some of the wild Digimon. Garurumon landed on a larger rock and turned around with his bared fangs.
Kyle: Attack!
Garurumon: GRRAAAAH!
Kyle pointed at the wild Digimon and Garurumon attacked as told.
Lucas: Kyle!
Kyle: Stay there!
The boss commanded the swarm to go after Kyle and Garurumon. Their pupils opened and then they fired green energy pellets at them. Garurumon ran on the side of the wall as he dodged the energy pellets. Lucas cannot comprehend why Kyle wants to do things on his own.
Lucas: Kyle… Why?
The boss Digimon then sent more of its subordinates after Kyle and Garurumon, but then Greymon noticed something there.
Greymon: Lucas! Right now, that big boss is… wide open!
Lucas realized it was true as the boss Digimon was all alone.
Lucas then understood Kyle's actions.
Lucas: I see now, That's why Kyle and Garurumon…
Lucas smiled as he now knows what Kyle wanted him to do.
Lucas: That's what they were aiming for!
Lucas climbed on Greymon's horn as the Dinosaur Digimon let out a roar.
Greymon: (Roar)...!
Kyle watched Greymon running up ahead and knew that Lucas understood what he was thinking.
Kyle: Go.
Garurumon now joined Greymon on the attack. The boss Digimon now realized that it was alone and surrounded as Greymon and Garurumon went straight after it. It then jumped in the air to escape.
Mike: Only one minute and fifty seconds left!
The boss Digimon then unleashed a barrage of purple energy pellets at them.
Kyle and Lucas: GO!
Lucas' device started to glow orange again.
Greymon: Nova Blast!
Kyle 's did the same as it glowed blue.
Garurumon: Howling Blaster!
Both orange and blue fire attacks converged together as they went through the purple bullets and obliterated the boss Digimon in a big explosion.
Lucas: We did it!
With the boss' defeat, all the swarm burst out into data.
Garurumon landed on one of the rock pillars as Kyle looked at where the boss was defeated. But then he noticed that something was wrong.
Lucas: I got what you were thinking. But you could've said something first!
But then Kyle raised an arm, which stopped Lucas from talking further.
Lucas: Huh?
Kyle: It's not over.
Both Lucas and Greymon looked at the smoke ahead and saw that the boss Digimon was not destroyed nor defeated yet as it stood back up… before being engulfed in green digital light and started growing into the enemy Greymon fought before, but it didn't stop there as it continued to grow and change. Lucas, and even Kyle, became shocked at the monster that stood in front of them now.
The boss Digimon has now turned into a giant monster whose body is now made of multiple green vines, and has four purple feather- eyes in the front, the above is small while the ones beneath are big. It's helmet-like head is purple and its eyes glowed bright yellow.
Boss Digimon: (Screeching)...!
The boys and the Digimon watched the new form the enemy Digimon has gained.
Greymon: It evolved again!
Lucas: How many times… is it gonna evolve?!
Kyle and Garurumon immediately went to the attack, despite how intimidating the enemy Digimon has become.
Lucas: Hey, Kyle!
Kyle didn't listen as he and Garurumon continued charging at the enemy.
Lucas: Let's go, Greymon!
Greymon: Yeah!
The boss Digimom raised its vines and then attacked with them at the heroes. Garurumon and Kyle dodged the ground shattering onslaught and jumped away. Greymon and Lucas however are trying their best to not lose their footing as ground broke and rise around them.
Lucas: Greymon!
Greymon: Nova Blast!
Greymon fired a few fireballs at the boss Digimon, but it effortlessly dodged all of them despite its size.
Kyle and Garurumon were running towards its left side before Garurumon jumped on a platform and jumped again on one of the many vined, where he proceeded to grab hold of it and bite with his fangs. But the boss Digimon noticed them and wrapped them up with its vine, and then proceeded to start electrocuting them with black electricity.
Garurumon: GAAAAAAAHH!
Lucas: Kyle!
The boss Digimon throws the two away. Greymon managed to grab them, but the force was so great it sent him and Lucas flying too until all four of them crashed on a wall.
Mike became worried at the beating the others were getting.
Mike: Lucas! Kyle!
Lucas and Kyle managed to stand back albeit with difficulty. The same went for Greymon and Garurumon. The boss Digimon was watching them struggle. Garurumon then went on ahead without Kyle telling him.
Kyle: Garurumon!
Greymon did the exact same thing.
Lucas: Greymon!
However, Garurumon and Greymon had trouble getting close because of the vines that's attacking them. Lucas then turned to Kyle.
Lucas: Listen, Kyle. You can't win by fighting alone. If we work together again, we can win!
Kyle: We couldn't finish it earlier.
Lucas knew it was true as it survived a double attack from their Digimon.
Mike: You two, there's no time left! We need to find a way somehow!
Kyle looked away as he wondered if he should say it or not, which Lucas noticed.
Greymon: AAH!
Greymon wasn't having any better as the vines sent him flying to the wall again. Right near Lucas. Garurumon noticed Greymon being hit hard as Lucas ran towards him.
Lucas: Greymon!
Garurumon landed back near Kyle as the boy looked at Lucas, who looked back at him.
Lucas: Kyle, you know of a way, right? If there is, let's do it!
Kyle: It's too dangerous. This method is a double-edged sword. If we fail, who knows what'll happen to Garurumon and Greymon…
Lucas now understands the risk of Kyle's idea.
Greymon: I'll take it.
Lucas turned to Greymon, who stood back up.
Lucas: Greymon…
Garurumon: Besides, there's no other way, right?
Kyle turned to Garurumon as he moved forward. Garurumon gave Kyle a reassuring smile.
Garurumon: We can handle it.
Lucas smiled at the Digimon determination, despite the danger.
Lucas: You're right. There's nothing we can't do if we put our heads together!
Lucas brought the device on his chest as he stood in front of Kyle.
Greymon: Don't worry. I'm going to believe in Greymon. So are you, right?
Lucas brought his fist holding his device in front of Kyle. The boy looked at him with renewed vigor as he fist bumped Lucas' with his holding his Digivice.
The boss Digimon noticed that its enemies were about to attack again.
Lucas: I'm counting on you, Greymon!
Greymon: Leave it to me!
Kyle: Garurumon!
Garurumon: Yeah!
Greymon went up ahead first, followed by Garurumon later. The two Digimon ran in separate directions as Greymon fired multiple Nova Blast at the enemy. The attack didn't hit the boss Digimon, only the area around it.
Lucas: Fire away, Greymon!
Greymon continued firing at the area around the boss Digimon, which it then noticed that it was being surrounded by smoke caused from the explosion and can no longer see its surroundings.
Kyle: Now, Garurumon!
Garurumon was running on top of a fallen rock before jumping through the smoke and landed behind the enemy Digimon back. It tried to pull him off with it's vines, but Garurumon held on by having his jaws tight behind its back.
Greymon: (Roar)...!
The Dinosaur Digimon jumped as well and now he too held his jaws clamped behind its back. The boss Digimon tried to get them both off but couldn't. Seeing this, Mike then understood what they were planning.
Mike: Ultra close-range attacks!
Kyle: Garurumon!
Kyle's device started to glow blue.
Lucas: Greymon!
Lucas' device started to glow as well with its orange color.
Kyle and Lucas: FIRE!
Both Garurumon and Greymon built flames inside their mouths while still holding on the enemy Digimon back. The result was a deafening explosion.
Boss Digimon: (Painful Screech)...
The boss Digimon screeched in pain while Greymon and Garurumon came flying out of the smoke before landing on the ground. Despite the wounds they received, they were still standing.
Boss Digimon: (Painful Screech)...
The enemy Digimon was engulfed in flames before collapsing on the floor. Lucas and Kyle watched as the Kamikaze method worked and now the boss Digimon was defeated on the floor.
Mike was relieved that they had won… only to realize that the countdown hadn't stopped yet as there was 40 seconds left.
Mike: Huh?
Mike began working to find out what's going on until he noticed energy rising from the enemy Digimon body, to his shock.
Mike: It's not over!
Lucas and Kyle turned to their device in surprise.
Mike: It's not over yet!
Lucas and Kyle looked at the body of the defeated Digimon and saw its eyes were blinking.
There was only 15 seconds now as the Nuclear Submarine launched the missile. The boss Digimon stood back up as it was covered in green digital light again and started to grow once more. The Humans and Digimon watched in worry and the countdown finally reached 0. The missile shot out of the ocean.
Mike: The missile… has been launched.
Lucas and Kyle at absolute horror at the new form the enemy has gained.
Towering over them is a gigantic black and purple bipedal Digimon with two huge arms. Vines were coming from its back, elbows and head. The head is bird-like and small and has two vine-like antennas behind its head and a red horn on top. Its chest is open and only reveals blackness in it.
Boss Digimon: (Loud screeching roar)...!
Its roar was so great it shook the entire network. It then looked down at its enemies. Its yellow eyes and red pupils creepily moving in different directions.
Lucas: What's happening…?
Kyle: We have to end this!
Lucas: Greymon!
Greymon: Nova Blast!
The Dinosaur Digimon sent a fire attack and so did Garurumon.
Garurumon: Howling Blaster!
The shots hit the colossal Digimon's body, but it didn't even feel it, even when one of the shots hit the face.
Mike was furiously working to find out where the missile was going… but the news terrified him.
The boys and Digimon came to the realisation that their attacks aren't working anymore.
Kyle: It isn't working?!
Mike: Lucas.
Lucas: Huh?
Mike: I've identified the missile's target…
Lucas: Really?! Where?!
Mike: It's...Houston!
Lucas: What?
-Houston, Texas, United States-
The missile was going to hit the land of Houston. All the people were unaware of this, except one boy inside his dark room who looked at the sky as he knew something's about to happen.
Mike: If… this missile hits… Houston will…
Rebecca and her Mother were walking all the way back home after the Train incident. But then Rebecca stopped as she looked at a glowing white feather floating in the sky.
Mike: Houston will be annihilated!
-The Network-
The news shocked Lucas a lot. That means that his home and everyone he knows will be destroyed, and he knows he has to stop it somehow.
The colossal Digimon swung its arm around, which summoned large vines from the ground and they hit the kids and their Digimon. As the smoke cleared it showed all of them laying on the floor a little bruised. Lucas just got up and glared at the enemy Digimon.
The colossal Boss Digimon then spread its arms as multiple green eyes with slit pupils appeared in the blackness of its chest.
Its eyes then began to gather a huge amount of purple energy.
Outside, the feather was still floating down gently as Lucas gripped tight his device.
Lucas: If we don't stop this, Houston will be annihilated.
Kyle: Darn it… I'll stop it no matter what!
The feather was then floating down near Rebecca.
Lucas: No one else…
Rebecca raised a hand to grab the glowing white feather.
Lucas: … but us can stop this.
A similar feather was about to land in the boy's palm in his apartment.
Kyle: We are…
His device then started to glow bright as his crest appeared on the screen and light was rotating clockwise on the screen. But it wasn't but just blue but orange as well.
Lucas: Gonna stop this!
Lucas' device was doing the same thing. It is then that the enemy Digimon was done gathering energy and fired a massive purple beam at them.
Mike: Lucas!
At that moment, the white feathers landed on both childrens palm as they glowed pink and white, and also revealed their own crest as well.
Lucas, Kyle, Greymon, and Garurumon stood bravely as the purple beam engulfed them.
-Houston, Texas, United States-
Mike: Lucas.
Mike was terribly saddened at what happened to Mike and the others. Despite their meeting being so short, he believed that he and those two could have really become friends. But then he was snapped out as a white light came from his laptop.
Mike: Huh?
Mike looked curiously at this and then his eyes widened at what he saw. Some sort of glowing white egg.
Mike: What… is this?
-The Network-
The boss Digimon was looking at the egg-shaped particles that suddenly appeared in the sky's network.
As the light dispersed it revealed a bipedal figure wrapped in a white cape. The figure moved the cape away and showed it to be a white knight-like Digimon with purple stripes on its chest. It's left arm is an orange Dinosaur helmet with horns on its side and a shield with the Sun-like crest on the shoulder. The right arm is a blue Wolf-like arm with three purple spikes on its shoulder. The back of its white cape is red. Its helmet has a white spike in the front and two yellow spikes in the back. Two lights, blue and orange, were descending at its side. The eye sockets opened up, revealing crystal clear blue eyes.

Appearance: Dirty blonde hair and amber eyes. Wears a purple T-shirt with yellow shorts, and wears a red armband on each arm and red sneakers with white socks.
Personality: He seems to be kind of a loner, as he was willing to solve things on his own. But after meeting Gabumon, and later the other kids and their Digimon, he realized it isn't wrong to have friends and ask for help and became a little open.
Authors Note: For those who like imagination. I prefer that the Digimon talk with their mouths moving just like the ones from Digimon Fusion.
