Survival Test

The next day Naruto, Sakura, and Yakumo walk to their sensei's apartment and knock on the door. They are greeted by Kono, who lets them into the apartment.

"Welcome to your test. This test will be a test of survival. You three will be transported to a specified location, and it is your job to make your way back to Konoha within a week.." Kono informs them, her voice kind and patient.

After she waits for a moment to see if they have any questions, she motions towards them." Do you have your supplies? Your Kunai swords? Weapons? Canteens?"

Once they have nodded their heads, Kono goes through hand seals before saying, "Reverse Teleport Jutsu!"

The trio was teleported to the middle of Konoha woods. After deliberating for a moment, Sakura says to Naruto, "We need to gather food."

Yakumo smiled, "I'll g-g-get the w-water."

Sakura and Naruto were so distracted by distinguishing poisonous berries and mushrooms from non-poisonous ones and setting small traps for game. They didn't notice that a group of people were watching them and Yakumo from high up in the trees.

The group in the trees split up. Two went to follow Naruto and Sakura, while the others went to pursue Yakumo. While Naruto was walking, he suddenly fell into a hole. He then makes a shadow clone.

The clone lands and dies. He keeps Chakra in it. "Help me, Sakura!" She kneels and grabs his hand, pulling him up and out of the hole. They sit at the edge, staring at each other in disbelief as they caught their breaths.

Slowly they began to continue their food search and were quite successful! WIth their arms heavily laden with berries and mushrooms, they began to make their way back to Yakumo.

As they walked, they weren't paying attention to their surroundings and wound up activating a tripwire. There was a sudden rumbling before two giant logs were heading their way. Noticing the logs, Naruto and Sakura push the other away to keep them from getting hit. Both Naruto and Sakura see them push each other out from the logs hitting each other.

Unfortunately, they hit each other with such force that they had shoved each other into nearby trees and knocked themselves out.

Two people walked out from the shadows, both wearing grey animal pelt shirts and pants. One had no nose and a wide mouth, standing only 5'1 in height. The other was a tall, burly man with no ears and his right eye missing.

The two men pick Sakura and Naruto up and make the slow descent to their home.

Yakumo sighs in relief when she finally finds a pond. Kneeling, she filled their canteens with clean, fresh water. She turned back from whence she came and began the journey back to Naruto and Sakura. However, she was barely ten steps from the pond when she triggered a net, and she was captured in a tree.

"Help!" She cried as she struggled to break the net. Twisting to the side, she grabs her Kunai and starts to slash at the strong ropes.

She was so distracted by trying to get herself out of the net she didn't notice the two women with brown eyes and cut-up faces walking out of the foliage. They looked up at her, their eyes flashing bright blue. Yakumo passed out on the spot, her Kunai still clenched in her hand.

Groggily, the trio wakes up. Naruto rolled his shoulders, wincing as his back hit the pole behind him. He blinked and tried to move his hands from behind him, but it was no use. Their hands were tied, bound by ninja wire.

After several more seconds of struggling, Sakura growled. "Let us go!"

They look up as the sound of footsteps resonates in the room. The footsteps belong to a male, and he was speaking a language they did not recognize.

Behind him was a girl with ginger, curly hair that almost entirely covered her gloomy face. Her blue eyes were bloodshot, and her skin was smooth, a reminder of her once good looks and seductive body. She wore an animal print bra and skirt, her toned stomach left uncovered.

"You shall be our meal." The woman translated, her tone horrified. She closed her eyes to them and left the room as quickly as she possibly could.

The trio knew that if they tried to escape, the rope would cut their hands from their bodies.

They heard nothing for the next hour until a man shows up with an enormous Kunai blade and thrusts it towards Naruto. They were saved as before the blade had a chance to hit him, the girl from earlier flew between them and kicked the blade out of the man's hands.

"You're from the Kurama clan, aren't you?" The girl indicated to Yakumo. She nodded her head before making several movements with her hands. Suddenly, everyone but the woman in front of her was frozen in place.

The girl began to release the trio from their restraints. "This is a putrid and twisted place." The girl explained as she neatly cut the ropes from Naruto's wrists.

She kneeled behind Sakura, her fingers briefly tightening over the ropes before she cut her loose as well. "They tried to rape me, repeatedly." She reached over and undid Yakumo's restraints. "I don't care if I become the last Muimi clan member!" She said it bitterly, like acid on her tongue.

Naruto took his kunai out. "Let's massacre them!" he says Yakumo stops the Genjutsu, and they all rise from their positions. Naruto swings his fist and hits one of the guys. They then use replacement just.

Naruto winced as his ribs broke, sending shockwaves of pain through his body, becoming aware just in time for a blade to go through him. His eyes widen, and he disappears, a log standing in his place.

Naruto is suddenly behind the man, a Kunai in his hand. "One thousand years of death!" He sends the man flying through the air, watching as he explodes.

Sakura is on the other side of the room, dodging swords and kunai as she takes in her surroundings. As a knife flashes and cuts her, Sakura jumps back and releases an attack of her own, cutting the throat of the woman that had been attacking her. Sakura grimaced as blood splattered across her face and body.

Sakura gasped as a wire wrapped tightly around her neck. She sputtered, her lungs burning for air. She closed her eyes tightly, disappearing into thin air, a log in her place.

They began looking for her. She combined the substitution Justus with a transformation, she's behind them, and chargers cut their heads off they slash her.

Yakumo she = went through hand seals. She gets cut as a kunai shoots past her, but she dodges from the worst of it and makes a clone of herself. She continues with the hand seals, and Genjutsu is cast on the area.

The brown-haired girl punched those around her, activating her Byakugan. "Kill yourselves!" she commanded. She watched as those around her stabbed themselves, instantly dying.

"My name is Tonase Muimi." The brown-haired girl introduced herself. "I am the heiress of the Muimi clan, the last of my kind."

They nod their thanks, and Naruto begins to gather up the bodies, creating shadow clones to help. Once they are done helping her clean up, they go back to their camp.

It was a long night, but they were able to find some rabbits for dinner. Quietly, they skinned and cooked them before settling down around the fire to eat.

Back at a bar, in Konoha Kono, sat a girl who looked mildly like Ayame.

"So, your students are doing the test today? Mine past yesterday." The woman said to Kono. She was wearing a red tube top with a tight short skirt.

"I am twenty-one and single. Ugh, no one wants a blind woman," says Kono in disgust.

"You're wrong there. I want you, Kono, I've always wanted you ever since we were thirteen and rivals." The woman leaned in and gently kissed Kono on the lips.

Both blushed as they pull apart. They talked for a little bit more before Kono said that she needed to get him. She paid for her shake and went to her apartment. Throwing herself onto her sofa, she spent the evening reading about make-out tips while giggling like a schoolgirl.

The next morning, at dawn, she goes to meet Naruto, Sakura and Yakumo at the gates. To her surprise, there is someone else with them.

"You three pass! Who are you?" She asks sharply to the other member of their party."

The three of them boy and then Yakumo introduces her. "This is Tonase Muimi."

Worriedly, Kono looks above their heads into the woods. "So the rumors are true then. There is a clan of cannibals living in the woods."

She slips between her students and Tonase, getting into a fighting pose. Kono stays there, waiting for Kakashi and Rin to show.

When they do, it's in their anbu uniforms, with masks of a wolf and fox. They spirit Tonase away to a cell in Hokage Tower.

Naruto and the other's head over to Minata's office. "We are here to brief you."

"Of course."

"We passed our test."

"So I heard."

"But we got into some trouble."

"That I also heard, care to elaborate?"

"We had been captured by a cannibal clan. We were able to disbatch them, the only member left is a girl named Tonase."

"Good job. The girl will be in prison for a while. We have to decide what to do with her."

"She's the last of her clan."

"We are taking that into account. You may leave now, son."

The three Lone Wolves nodded their heads before turning to leave. They said nothing as they headed back to their respective homes.
