Chapter 1

Bell entered Orario's gates. He had a mission here and needed it to be done so that he could finally be free. This mission won't be easy however since this person is deadly if you get on her bad side and she has eradicated countless foes before so he needed to train himself before fighting her.

He trained for a year before coming here. It wasn't easy since he needed to go past his limits multiple times but now it was time for it not to go to waste.

Anya was helping the others prep things before the pub opens. The others knew what day it is. They felt a bit worried for Anya since it wasn't like her to act all gloomy out of nowhere. She was always a cheerful cat who rarely gets sad. She's almost as cheerful as Syr just more kid minded.

Ryu noticed her behavior first before all of them, Anya would usually try to touch her for being an elf and to just to see a reaction out of her but just like the rest she was worried for her friend.

On the day she told them about Bell they were shocked that she shed tears while retelling the story of how they met, became great friends, made her laugh during sad times, and many more. They all understand why she reacted like that and comforted her.

Ryu, Syr, Chloe, and Lunoire all came up with a plan to make her happy. Although they'd have to wait till tomorrow since tomorrow they close for the day which made them feel even more sad and frustrated.

If they ask Mama Mia for a break today then they know for sure they would never have a break in their life's again. Mama Mia is a nice person… not really. If you buy stuff from her of course she will cooperate if not then she'll either ask why your not buying anything or leave the place.

Mama Mia knew why she's acting the way she is. Anya might have not told her but she knows why. Thanks to Syr.

"Hey Anya!" Chloe greeted her

"Mn" Anya replied but not the same energetic energy she had. Chloe expression soften at that.

"Hey... you ok?" It was a stupid question she knew that but she didn't know what other options she had.

"…. I-" she muttered the next parts with her hair covering her face

"?" Even with Chloe cat ears and her level 4 excilla on her she still couldn't hear her.

"What was that?"

"I…… mi….ose… h…pe" she still muttered but this time sniffles could be herd this time.

"Um…. I really hate to say this but could you say that one more time?" She said with a single finger in the air and an anxious expression. Anya lifted her face to see Chloe and Chloe was slightly shocked. Not only her but the others behind her working were shocked as well.

The others were working but were listening very closely even Mama Mia. Mama Mia might not have shown it but she was a bit heart broken that Anya was crying.

"I might lose hope Chloe" she said as tear drops were falling to floor. Chloe acting as a friend a sister, hugged her. Anya was a bit startled but accepted the hug nonetheless and put her head on her shoulder.

A certain black haired cat was training then he stopped as he felt something in his chest hurt for some reason but he didn't know why

'What the hell is this feeling?'

Mama Mia didn't want see Anya like this anymore, she decided to give Anya a break today.

"(sighs) Anya!" Anya lifts her head and noticed the looks on her. She instantly pushed Chloe out the way and went back to work but before she did that

"Your off for the day" everyone looked at her in shock

"Mama Mia I can still wo-"

"No. No you can't. I know what day it is believe it or not"

"!?"

"So go… do something for the day… I would say go visit him but I don't know if he'll want to see you." Mama Mia didn't like Allen because of the way he acts towards to his little sister.

"Um… are you really ok with that Mama? I can still work" Anya said the last part slowly to not make Mama Mia mad again but she nodded no and said go. Anya then looked back at the other waitress to see if this is ok and they all nodded and gave her a thumbs up with a smile. Anya couldn't help but smile and tear up a bit.

"Ok. Thank you everyone."

Allen was about done swinging his spear. He spent all his morning training. He didn't know what to do after that since well he didn't know where to find answers where Bell could be.

'Literally it's just as if you disappeared' as he was about to walk away Ottarl sent his sword directly at Allen's back. Allen instantly reacted by doing a backflip and twirling around mid air to face his captain.

"Tch really? Since when did you do cheap shots?"

True the Freya familia don't play around when it comes to fights and especially training but the one thing half of them can't do is cheap shots. As much as they want to do it in order to win they can't do it because it hurts their pride as a fighter.

Allen and Ottarl were those people.

Ottarl grabbed his other sword on his back and got in his position ignoring Allen's question. He then dashed at Allen in a speed no normal person couldn't react to but Allen could.

Allen dodged the sword swing and sent his spear to an unprotected spot but was stopped when Ottarl kicked him in the stomach sending him a few feet's away from Ottarl.

"Your not fighting right." Ottarl states. Allen was getting angry

"The hell do you mea-"

"Your training was way off. Your spear swings and dodging weren't at your all."

"!"

"The fu-" Allen was cutoff by Ottarl rushing him again although this time Allen dashed at him as well. Ottarl got a clean cut from Allen on his shoulder. Allen got a clean cut from Ottarl on his abdomen.

""Tch""

They both backed up and got into their positions again seizing each other. A rock fell down to the ground and boom they clashed at each other with all their might to the point a huge crater was formed under them. Ottarl sent slashes at Allen's chest which Allen didn't even react to since he was sending slashes on Ottarl chest as well.

Both of them were not holding back. As they were about to send a devastating blow to each other a certain goddess of theirs called to them.

"Children Children~ (Allen and Ottarl instantly stop and got on their knees bowing their head down) what's with all the commotion about? I herd that a fight was happening between my familia?"

Ottarl and Allen didn't say word and were waiting for her to finish before they can answer her.

"As you two are aware I wouldn't have intervened since our familia always have fights but (glances at Allen) I know that today is not your day Allen am I correct?" Allen could only nod in response.

"So Ottarl please tell me why would you make Allen's day more worse~?" She knew why he's doing this. It was her plan of course. She also knew why Allen acts…… differently. She just wanted Allen to confess about it and see what's his response about the situation if he knew. But she knew it's the same situation with her. They both don't act the way they do today and only today.

"I-" Ottarl was cutoff by another familia member walking up to her. The adventurer bows down to his captain, vice captain, and his goddess.

"Lady Freya a visitor has come here" Freya raised a brow at this as Ottarl and Allen raised their heads. They don't get visitors often so they both thought of one familia or group of people.

Freya on the other hand knew who it was though and was surprised that she even came

'Perfect'

"Oh? And who could this person be?"

"It's an old member of ours. Anya Fromel" Allen wide eyed at this as he was cursing himself in the inside because of the quick glances he got from Freya and Ottarl.

'Why is she here? Did something happen?' Allen went back to his normal expression and asked

"Why is she here?" Allen had to act normal especially in front of these two with him. He did not want to get teased for wondering why his little sister his here.

Just as the adventurer was going to answer

"Bring her in and here ok?" She says

"Of course lady Freya!" he quickly bows down and runs back to get Anya. As he left the area she looked back at Allen with a smirk on her face. Allen looked away as he knew what was about to come and Ottarl couldn't help but chuckle and smirk as well.

"Allen!~" she said in a happy and seductive tone

"… Yes Lady Freya" Freya then walked up to Allen and picked him up from the ground by cupping his cheeks and pinching them till there red

"Are you ready to see your little baby sister~"

"No"

"Lair"

Allen was glaring at Ottarl since he was leaving those two alone and because of the smirk he gave him as he was at the door.

'Damn you fucking boaz! What the hell am I saying DAMN YOU BELL! WHY DID YOU HAVE TO DO ME LIKE THIS ESPECIALLY TODAY!'

Hey been a while. Um I got out of the writers block I'm in. Hopefully you guys liked this chapter. I'm not gonna lie I had other versions of how chapter 1 was going to play out and FINALY I found the perfect route that I'm satisfied with. Sorry if the fights scene weren't great at all. First time writing a fight scene.

Today is just not Allen's day. Mans is wondering and trying to find out where Bell is, got sneaked attacked by Ottarl, and got teased by Freya! XD
