Chapter 2: Transformation

Shiro's POV

"hey…"

"Nghh…"

"shiro…wake…"

"Uuuggghhh…what…"

"Kid…gotta wake…up…" What's happening? I slowly opened my eyes, seeing two very blurry figures above me. I squinted a bit yet to no avail.

"Mmmmm…fuck…" I groaned in pain. I slowly tried to raise my head but the pain on my neck and back were too much so I slowly descended my head back on the ground.

"Shit, he's not…it…injuries are…severe…" Injuries? That explains the pain all around my body.

"What…do…?"

"We…thing left…"

"What's that…?" The voices are started to get clearer and clearer now.

"We need to become one. It's the only way to save him and ourselves." 'Become one'? What's he talking about?

"*sigh* I'm gonna miss all this."

"Me too, but as long as we live, we're always together." We? Wait…am I dying?

"*snorts* Sap."

"Shut up Rip."

"You know it's true Wrath." Hold on…Rip? Ripper? Wrath?

"Uugh…boys…?" I tried to sit up at least before I felt two hands, one on each of my shoulder, stop me from rising and slowly but gently push me back down.

"We're sorry Shiro."

"But we have no choice."

"A…Am I dying?" I grasped Ripper's hand and squeezed before I felt him squeeze back.

"Yeah kid, the wounds were too severe. You're in too much pain to switch to me and you can barely twitch your fingers to try and heal yourself."

"If you did try and switch to one of us, the stress would be enough to stop your heart in milliseconds." ….

"So…that means…"

"Yeah, it's time." For the second time in my life, I cried. I felt tears slide down my cheeks. I felt Wrath's hand wrap and grip my own before squeezing gently.

"*sniff* This is it then…"

"Yeah…"

"I'm gonna miss you guys…*sniff*"

"We'll always be with you Shiro. No matter where you go."

"Our quirks will be yours to use kid, think of it as a part of us that never left."

"Be whoever you want to be."

"It's time you start living your life the way you want it to be." I nodded.

"Are you ready?" I nodded once more before smirking.

"Time to live once again boys." I closed my eyes but this time, for a split second, I saw them as my eyelids shut. I can feel them fading into me, I can feel us becoming one. I can feel their quirks, flowing into me, like water to a very absorbent sponge. I smiled as I remembered all our memories together, even if we weren't the same person, just being with them in the same mind is enough for me. After what felt like an eternity, all my senses came rushing back to me. I opened my eyes as my ears hear a heart monitor beating, my skin feeling something soft and my wounds what felt like that's been stitched closing up completely. I grit my teeth as I quietly grunted at the painful feeling of my bones slowly extending and growing. I yelled but no sound came out and yet I can feel my canines getting sharper and stronger. My transformation is almost complete.

'God this hurts so bad…'

Nedzu's POV

It's been 24 hours since the massive battle that took over on the street of where I lived. My shoulder is feeling a little bit better after a good night's sleep in Aizawa and Hizashi's household. It's currently 7 am in the morning and I was sipping on my morning tea while petting one of the married couple's cat on my lap with a laptop in front of me. Assuming the amount of bodies last night, they were the last of the last of the ninjas that came from China that came for me and the boy. Speaking of which, I gently picked up Junior, a stray Bobtail Aizawa picked up during one of his missions according to Hizashi. I leaned forward towards the screen of the laptop and decided to hack into the cameras of the Hosu General Hospital since that was where the boy was taken. As every camera screen popped up on my screen, I can see doctors panicking and some doctors checking all around one room. I frowned at the sight before I see one go to the telephone and dial in some numbers.

*RIIIIIIIIING**RIIIIIIIIIING* I looked away for a moment at the ringing phone before looking back at the laptop then back at the phone. I got off the chair and answered the telephone.

"Hello?"

"Nedzu."

"Yes? What's happening back there?"

"Remember the child you guys brought in last night?" The doctor asked. I narrowed my eyes in suspicion.

"Yes…wait is he-"

"He's gone."

"…"

"Nedzu? Are you there?" I sighed and just said,

"Goddamnit."
