When both X and Zero made it back to base, X asked Alia "Alia, I got the recording of the message, will you find some information about what I found?" Alia then replied "I'll Try X, but I won't guarantee it would come up with some positive results." Zero then said "So X, you found something?" X then said "Yeah, it was a message from my older brother Mega Man, and my creator Dr. Thomas Light." Zero thought to himself "Dr. Thomas Light…He sounds familiar…he never told me who created me…Wily may have created me, but I'm not the Reploid he wanted me to be…" X then said "Did you find anything about your past?" Zero then said "No I haven't X, I searched everywhere in where I 1st awoken and nothing was there." X believed him "I see."
The Alarm sounded and Alia said "Maverick Readings everywhere, but they're no ordinary Mavericks…" X then said "Damnit, I think Sigma is up to no good again!" Alia then said "It's not Sigma, it may be someone else." Zero then said "Then there is no time to waste, we better get to work." X then said "Right! But we can't do it together, I don't think it's such a good idea, Axl…This is for you…" Alia didn't object to the situation at hand, "I agree with X, if you both go to the same location, you won't get to the other location in time, that means you both have to work separately." Zero then said "But we both need a Navigator, I think Alia should help you instead of me, while Layer will be my Navigator." Layer then said "Ok Zero, I'll gladly help." Alia then said "Alright, X let's work together."
(The Next Lines in the story are Maverick Fights, so if you don't want to sit through it, go to Paragraph 12)
So X went to the Chip Factory in the middle of the ocean, while Zero went to the port, at the Chip Factory Alia gave him a call "X, the factory is continuing development for Copy Chips defying direct orders to stop development." X then said "I thought this was the end of it, I guess that means I have to shut down what is generating it." Alia then replied "I don't think it is a generator." X then said "Then a Maverick?" Alia then said "I suppose, go deeper into the Factory and find out." X then said "Got it!"
Meanwhile at a port "I think this is where the supplies for Copy Chips are, and I suppose they're heading somewhere." Layer then said "We found out that it is a factory developing more Copy Chips." Zero then said "I thought so, X is there, then we need to blow this ship to bits before they reach the factory." Layer then said "Go to the control room, set the time bomb in the control room, and get out of there, Zero then said "Alright."
As X was traversing through the factory, and Zero was infiltrating the ship, then he ran into a Geared Komodo dragon Maverick at the deepest part of the factory, "Ah, X, What is your business here?" He said, X then said "I've come to shut this factory down, what are you planning to do with those Copy Chips?" Metal Komodo then said "Oh, I'm doing what my master has asked me to do, and it is really none of your business, get lost." X then said "I won't. Stop development or I'll have to force you to." Metal Komodo then said "That's what you think." Then Metal Komodo stopped generating the factory and started to fight him.
Meanwhile Zero ran into a Lion Headed Sea Lion Reploid with a Spear in front of a pool of Water, Zero then said "Are you the one who is sending these supplies to the factory in the middle of the sea?" Splash Lion then said "Indeed I am, are you here to get rid of the cargo to the Chip Factory?" Zero then said "Yes, stop this ship at once or I will make you." Splash Lion then said "So be it, prepare to be destroyed at the bottom of the sea." Then he dove into the Pool and Zero jumped in it to chase after him.
As Metal Komodo was rolling Gears on the ground and throwing them upwards to the walls, X did his best to avoid them, Zero avoided some Spear Thrusting and throwing, and once the battle was coming to a close X charged his buster, and Zero thrusted his Saber and X blasted the Core of Metal Komodo, and Zero stabbed right through Splash Lion, the 2 Mavericks tried radioing each other but they dropped dead, X blew the Generator to bits, and Zero looked at the main computer, and it is almost to the factory, and it was only 10 minutes until he reached port, he set the timer of the Self-destruct to 10 minutes, Alia then contacted X "X, Zero set the ship to Self-destruct, Get out of there at once!" X then said "Got It!" Layer then said "There's no time to leave that ship, transport out of there now!" Zero then said "Got It." And got out of there.
Once X got out of there, the Cargo Ship made it to the factory, and the huge explosion happened destroying the factory, luckily X and Zero managed to get out of there successfully, then they went to their next mission X went to the Ice Fortress, and Zero went to a Dark Base, in the Ice Fortress, X got a call from Alia "X this Fortress is trying to hack into our system, if they find our data we're done for." X then said "Those Bastards…is there another place where they're hacking into our system?" Alia then replied "Yes, but Zero and Layer are taking care of it, there wouldn't be much time to work alone." X then replied "Good, then you and Layer do your best to prevent the hacking." Alia then said "We're on it."
Meanwhile Zero was at a Dark Base, "Zero are you at the base?" Layer asked "Yes." Zero replied "What is in that base?" Layer then replied "They're attempting to hack into our base. Find the main computer, destroy it, and escape." Zero then said "What of X?" Layer then said "He's at the Fortress, it would be too late if you did it alone, we'll do our best to prevent the hacking." Zero then said "Got it, I'll go deep in there and find the source in the meantime." In the Ice Fortress, X went through the corridors of the fortress, and Zero went through the dark areas of the base, as they made it to the computers, an Ice Rabbit slammed in the ground of the main computer, while a big Mosquito Reploid came.
"What are you doing?" Freeze Rabbit said X then said "Are you responsible for this incident?" Freeze Rabbit then replied "Not just me, also another at the Dark Base, and you'll be too late your puny Maverick Hunters will be nuked into oblivion." X then said "I won't allow it!" Freeze Rabbit then said "I'd like to see you try." Meanwhile at the base Shadow Mosquito said "Wily's Last Creation, we meet at last." Zero asked "What do you know about Dr. Wily? And are you hacking into our system to put us in danger?" Shadow Mosquito then replied "Yes, and are you here to shut it down? I guess I will have to do it the hard way." Zero then said "Get out of my way!"
After X and Zero destroyed them both, they went to the main computer and then X destroyed the main computer, in the fortress. "Mission Accomplished, Alia the Computer has been destroyed." Alia then said "Good, luckily we were able to prevent the Hacking long enough." X then said "Close Call, I'm coming back." Zero then slashed his saber and destroyed the main computer, Layer then said "Good Job Zero." Zero then said "Layer, did you and Alia prevent the Hacking?" Layer then said "Yes, we were able to do so." Zero then said "Good, I'm coming back to base."

When both of them got back Zero and X met up "X, I'm going back to that ruined lab, I need to investigate even further." Zero said before he left, Alia then said "We found some documents on Dr. Wily" X then turned to Alia "What did it say?" Alia read them "Dr. Albert Wily was a fellow colleague of Dr. Thomas Light, Wily wanted to make Robots more powerful to protect humans, but Dr. Light thought it would be far too dangerous, so he shut it down, thus Wily left to get his revenge, his crimes were stealing Robots from Dr. Light twice, and many other Scientists around the world reprogramming them for battle, commanding his own Robots, blackmailed Dr. Cossack, framed Proto Man, escaped from Prison, used Evil Energy, framed Dr. Light, created Roboenza, and used his past creation the Double Gear System, but all of those plans were stopped thanks to Dr. Light's Robot Mega Man…this was just like the incident of my Colleague Gate…"
X then asked "Were there any files about Wily's deadliest creation?" Layer then said "No, it has said that Wily committed an unknown suicide." X then said "I'll have to look for more information, I'll be back in a moment." X left.
Author's Note: Sorry that the chapter took so long, I've been trying to 100% X8, and for those of you who don't know who Gate is, play X6 on the X Legacy Collection, or watch a play through of it, because I won't give out spoilers, also don't worry, Axl and Pallette will come into play later, after the main villain is introduced, and no it is not Sigma again.
