A/N: Hello again! This is the official chapter 2 up. I'm really sorry if I update at really weird times, I'm in the Southern Hemisphere. Also, for Nico stans, he will make an appearance this chapter! Some reviews:
Chickenlittle and arawiguM: Thank you for your feedback! I fixed the formatting so it's easier to read now :)
ThunderSphinx: I agree with you, but keep in mind that Percy has already been hit with a drugged arrow, and Annabeth was hit by an ICER before the other tranquilisers.
Idkwhattoputasmyusernam: Thank you! I can't wait to see what happens either ;)
Yohnos: Thank you. I agree that Hades/Pluto would react (and you'll see how in the next chapter!) But I guess the gods can't interfere with mortal problems?
Jinglebells852: Thank you, I can't wait to show you more!
Thank you to all those who read my first chapter! Once again, anything you recognise belongs to Rick Riordan, Stan Lee (and Derek Landy *wink*)

Fury POV:
Nicholas J. Fury was confused. The file sitting in front of him belonged to a certain teenager named Perseus Jackson, yet the thing that troubled him was the single sheet of paper with basic information on it resting in his hands.
Fury glanced up at the monitors showing footage of Perseus and the girl strapped to beds in separate rooms. He was told by Banner that they wouldn't wake up for another day or two, but he wanted to question them as soon as they woke up.
"Romanoff, come in here," he said as he pressed a button on his intercom. Moments later Natasha Romanoff, sporting a large bruise on the side of her face, walked in.
"What the hell happened to you?" he questioned, referring to both the mission and her face.
"A certain blonde seventeen-year-old and her friends happened Fury." She replied, with annoyance in her tone. Fury should have known she would have been, well, furious that a teenager knocked her out.
"Do we know her name yet?" Fury asked, pointing to the picture of the girl sleeping. Natasha scowled.
"Nope. We've done facial recognition scans multiple times and they've come up with nothing."
Fury raised an eyebrow and continued to stare at the images. Finally, he looked up.
"Romanoff," he started.
"Yes, sir?"
"I want them interrogated separately when they wake up. I want you leading it, see if you can find conflicting information. Once you've done that, move them back together." Romanoff nodded and turned to leave, but Fury had one last thing to say.
"Oh, and Agent Romanoff? Get the Avengers to watch the interrogation."
When she left, Fury turned back to the monitors and saw that both of the teenagers were awake and staring straight at the hidden camera in the room.
"What the-"
Annabeth POV:
Annabeth woke up in a strange bed, in a strange place. Her head was foggy, and as she tried to sit up, she realised she was strapped to the bed. Noticing her surroundings, she took in that the only objects in the monochrome white room were the bed, a sink, and a heart rate machine she was strapped to.
Looking around further, she saw the 'hidden' camera on the left corner of the room. She stared at it for a few moments before poking her tongue out at it. Annabeth had to appear calm and collected, even if she was scared. If she was going to do this, she was going to have fun.
After a few minutes of staring at nothing and assessing her situation, a door she previously thought was a wall opened up, and in strode no other than Flaming Justice. She stood there watching Annabeth, and she just watched back. Annabeth refused to speak first; it was a power play.
"I'm Agent Natasha Romanoff. You're in S.H.I.E.L.D headquarters, under custody. What's your name?" Annabeth internally smiled. Good. Time for some fun.
"My name's Stephanie Edgley…" she said, feigning being scared as she purposefully avoided the agent's eyes.
Speaking of the agent, she was staring Annabeth down to see if she was lying. She was apparently satisfied that she wasn't and continued speaking.
"Well, Stephanie, I have some questions for you. Starting with, where did you learn to fight like that? And are you enhanced?"
"Well, it's a really weird story," Annabeth started reluctantly, "When I was twelve, my uncle died, and I met one of his friends. His friend introduced me to a world of magic, and he taught me to fight as a partner in his detective agency. It's true!" she said, noticing the skeptical look on Natasha's face.
"Honestly? I've heard weirder." said the agent, "What was this friend's name Stephanie?"
Annabeth, with a glint in her eye, said, "Skullduggery Pleasant."
Natasha appeared to be listening to something in her earpiece as she stared at Annabeth, trying to pretend she wasn't listening to anything.
After a beat of silence, Natasha's face went stony as she raised an eyebrow. She said 'thanks' into her intercom and crossed her arms and waited a minute.
"Apparently everything you've just told me is a plot from a book." She finally said.
Annabeth grinned and started laughing maniacally at her.
"I can't believe you actually believed me! I thought you were a trained spy." She gasped in between her giggles.
Natasha turned red and walked right up to her.
"What. Is. Your. Name?" she growled right in the teenager's face. Annabeth was not scared and smirked back.
"Would you believe me if I told you it was Sadie Kane?"
Natasha was at her breaking point. She stood up and turned away from Annabeth.
"Fine. You want to be difficult? I'll be back." Natasha was genuinely annoyed that Annabeth was both stronger and smarter than her, and the blonde knew it.
"Have fun Natasha!" Annabeth called to her as she left.
Now all she had to do was wait.
Natasha POV: *
As Natasha Romanoff walked out of the interrogation room of the girl she'd dubbed 'Stephanie', she was very annoyed with herself. How could this girl, who was about twenty years her junior, beat her? Surely, she wasn't with the Red Room, because it seemed like it.
Natasha pushed that thought out of her mind as she entered the room behind Stephanie's. Waiting for her were the other Avengers as they all stared at her. Nat gave them the finger and Stark burst out laughing.
"I can't believe she lied to you, using the plot of a children's book, and you believed her!"
"Stark…" warned Steve before Nat shushed him.
"She's obviously well trained. No normal teen could lie to me like that." She snapped.
Banner looked nervous as he piped up, "Do you think she's enhanced?"
The woman shook her head. "No. I think she's just really smart. Smarter than you would think." She looked at her watch, "I have to go interrogate Perseus. I'll meet you there."
With that, she took off, thinking to herself that at least he couldn't be as bad as Stephanie.
Percy POV: *
Percy woke up confused. His head was hurting, and his mouth was dry as he took in his surroundings. Clean white walls, sink, and heart rate monitor were the only other things in the room. If he weren't strapped to a bed right now, he would think it was pretty cool, as it was just like how he would imagine a spy prison. In the top left corner of the room, a 'hidden' camera was filming him. Percy smiled to himself as he stared at the camera, hoping the idiots were watching him right now. If he was right, then soon enough someone would come and interrogate him.
That was when Persassy would emerge.
A few minutes later (but felt like an eternity because of his ADHD), a wall slid open and Flaming Justice walked in.
"Hey, Flaming Justice, what's up?" he asked with a crooked grin. The woman crossed her arms and glared at him.
"My name is Agent Natasha Romanoff, and you are in S.H.I.E.L.D headquarters. Perseus Jackson, you have been brought in for questioning due to suspicious circumstances."
"It's Percy," he interrupted.
"Excuse me?"
"It's Percy, I don't like Perseus." He repeated, dead serious.
"Perseus, do you know why you're here?"
"You obviously do, so why don't you tell me?" he snapped back.
Romanoff sighed. "When you were in elementary and middle school, you blew up a school bus using a military war cannon, and you dumped your class into a water tank at an aquarium. When you were twelve, a national manhunt was ordered against you, yet it turned out to be a kidnapping. Witnesses say you and your kidnapper fought on a beach with guns. At the same time, your mother and stepfather disappeared on separate occasions, your mother reappearing not long after. In your freshman year you disappeared for months and were said to be seen in Rome, Greece, and Italy with six other people during that time. And after all this, no charges have been raised against you."
Percy remained silent during the whole monologue but shook his head when she'd finished.
"Wrong place, wrong time." he replied smoothly.
Romanoff looked skeptical but dropped it.
"What about your friend in the other room? What's her name?"
Percy grinned as he said "Stephanie Edgley."
The agent crossed her arms. "Nope. She already tried that."
"And did it work?"
Percy's comment made the agent turn beet red and she strode up to him, anger clearly on her face.
"Look Perseus, if you don't tell me her name, I will drop her out of this plane myself."
Percy balked. "We're on a PLANE? In the AIR?" he asked incredulously, with fear on his face.
When the agent nodded a yes, Percy muttered a quick prayer to the gods. He was lucky Zeus hadn't struck him down already.
Romanoff snapped her fingers in Percy's face as she repeated her question.
He looked around guiltily as he said, "Her name is… it's Bianca Solace."
"Are you lying to me?" she asked. Percy shook his head.
"Next question. Do you know who your father is?"
"My mother told me he died at sea when I was a baby."
"Where did you go to when you disappeared in your freshman year?"
Percy gave her the response he had rehearsed with Annabeth. "I reconnected with my father in Greece. I went to stay with him for a while. I guess my mother didn't think to tell the secret spy agency she had no idea existed."
"I thought you said your father died." Natasha was quick to reply, conveniently ignoring the sass at the end.
"Turns out he didn't."
"Next question-"
But Percy shook his head at her. "Nuh-uh. That was your five questions. You don't get any more."
The agent ignored him and continued. "What was your father's name? Who were the six other people travelling with you when you went to Greece? What happened to Gabe Ugliano?"
Percy raised an eyebrow and stubbornly didn't reply.
After the next hour of Romanoff interrogating Percy but getting nothing, she finally tried threatening him, even though she didn't want to.
"Perseus Jackson, if you don't answer my questions you will be considered a national enemy and locked away for the rest of your life."
Percy just looked at her, secretly knowing that it was only a matter of time before he was rescued.
But apparently, he'd given something away because the agent smiled triumphantly.
"Thank you for your cooperation Mr. Jackson."
Percy looked around wildly. "What did I do?" he asked, receiving no reply.
She sauntered out of the room, but not before Percy yelled out:
"Bye! Have fun before the storm!"
Percy was giving them a warning, but he knew they wouldn't take it.
Steve POV: *
Rewatching the tapes of both interrogations, Steve furrowed his brow in confusion. Fury was replaying them so that they could try and find something they didn't before.
"These kids are way too smart to be normal." Said Stark as they watched them both thwart Natasha.
"I still got the name of the girl and that Perseus is expecting to be rescued, which means he has powerful friends." Nat reminded them.
"I think Perseus is ADHD." Steve pointed out, noticing the fidgeting of the teen. The others looked closer and voiced their agreement.
"Good job Rogers." Fury noted.
"Do you think Perseus is enhanced?" Banner asked the whole group. There was a mix of 'yes' and 'maybe' and 'no' among all the Avengers.
"I think he is. He's too cocky and he took two tranquilisers before he went down." Natasha reminded them.
"But so did Bianca." Stark pointed out.
What followed was a major argument between them all. Natasha and Banner voted that he was enhanced, Stark and Barton thought he wasn't, and Steve and Fury weren't sure.
A fistfight was about to erupt when a siren blared through the room. Everyone stopped and looked at Fury in question. He didn't know what was happening, but Agent Hill ran into the room, breathless.
"Sir!" she gasped, "There's been a breach. Someone's broken into the Helicarrier!"
Fury immediately ran to the cameras, seeing a young boy, maybe fifteen, walking casually through the halls, taking down any agent that went near him with what looked like… a sword?
"Who is that?" he demanded.
"We don't know, sir."
And that is it! Sorry that this chapter is a little bit shorter, it's for dramatic effect. I don't have an updating schedule in case you were wondering, I just wanted to post this is as soon as I could so you guys can read it. Stay safe out there!
