"Hold on. Paul and Lindsay aren't dating anymore, but they're still sleeping together?" Ray questioned as he was holding back a punching bag that Thomas kept kicking.
"Yeah. That's what they said." Thomas said as he put some frustration in those kicks. The two of them were at the gym and tried to get working out. The news about Lindsay and Paul really got to Thomas.
"Are you okay?" Ray asked as he was trying to endure the impacts. "I know you have some feelings for Lindsay?"
"I'm peachy." Thomas said as he kept the kicks coming. "They can do whatever the hell they want." Thomas was saying he was okay with it, but the force he's putting into those kicks was saying differently. Ray was a little worried about how Thomas was feeling about this, but there didn't seem to be much he can do.
"Well, it sounds like they're just having fun." Ray said. "It might not even last. Maybe if you just go and tell Lindsay you're into her, it might even put an end to it sooner."
"Drop it!" Thomas said as he kicked the bag so hard that it was almost taken out of the ceiling.
"Take it easy. We might have to pay for any damage, or get banned from this place." Ray said. "This is my usual gym." Thomas tried to calm down and quit it. "Dude, it's okay if you're upset about this."
"I'll be fine." Thomas said. "I just... I just don't get it. It was one thing while they were dating, but now they're doing this. Maybe I should try to move on from Lindsay and find a girl I know that would be into me."
"I'm sure you'll be fine." Ray said. "I'm just more concerned about how this whole thing is going to effect you guys as a team. I really hope this doesn't ruin things between you guys."
"I do not know what you two are talking about, but I hope so either." They looked and Thomas was surprised to see Sabella again. "Is there some sort of problem with Spider-Man and the rest of you?"
"Sabella?! Um... Not exactly." Thomas said. "What are you doing here?"
"Hello. Aren't you going to introduce me?" Ray said as he a little captivated by Sabella's beauty.
"Sorry." Thomas said. "Sabella, this is my best friend: Officer Ray. Ray, this is Sabella Sablinova. She's a friend of Paul's that we helped out a while back. She's also got some serious skills as a fighter and such because she's actually trained to be a mercenary."
"A mercenary?!" Ray said with shock and fear, some of that spreading to others in the gym when they heard that.
"What are you doing here? How did you even find me?" Thomas asked.
"It was child's play to track you down." Sabella said. "As for why I'm here, I require Spider-Man's, yours, and that friend named Blite assistance. We might have gotten Dominic Aburady arrested, but my sources say he might still be making some sort of profit at my country's suffering."
"What do you mean?" Thomas asked.
"I heard his men plan to smuggle weapons out of New York and get them to his buyers." Sabella said.
"That could be a problem, but without any evidence, the police can't do much about it." Ray said. "Without a location or a warrant, there might not be much we can do. There's also a chance that by the time we do, those weapons could be long gone."
"Which is where Porter, Lindsay, and myself come in." Thomas said.
"Yes. That's why we need to find the other two. Where are they?" Sabella asked.
"They might be going on with their regular lives or a few other ideas." Thomas said as he didn't like where they could be.
...
Paul and Lindsay
Paul and Lindsay met at Lindsay's place. They were having another one of their meetings. As they were already stripped down to nothing, Paul slammed Lindsay against the wall as the two of them made out with each other. As Lindsay wrapped her legs around his waist, Paul carried her over to the bed and placed her right down.
"I'm telling you right now, I plan to have some real fun this time." Lindsay said.
"What would you say to a few ideas of my own kind of fun?" Paul asked. Lindsay liked the sound of that. As them continued on, Paul stopped when he heard his phone going off.
"No." Lindsay moaned. "Just ignore it. I know it's going to be something that will ruin this." Paul just ignored her request as he shot a line at his pants and pulled it over. He reached inside and pulled out his phone to see it was Thomas.
"Hey, Thomas. What's up?" Paul asked. "What? Sabella again?" Lindsay already hated hearing about this. Thomas was explaining everything that was going on. "Really? Yeah, I'm with Lindsay. We'll meet you two in about in like ten minutes." He ended the call and was getting ready.
"You said ten minutes. Does that mean we get at least five minutes of fun and pleasure?" Lindsay asked with some hope, but Paul gave her a disapproving-look.
"That's another part of our agreement." Paul said. "We said we wouldn't try to not let this get in the way of our responsibilities."
"Fine." Lindsay said with annoyance as she got her costume. "I'm telling you right now that I already don't like this since it involves Sabella."
...
Thomas and Sabella
Venom and Sabella waited at the top of a building as they waited for Paul and Lindsay to show. When they looked in the air, they saw Spider-Man swinging in with Blite holding on to him.
"I'm glad you could make it, Paul." Sabella said.
"Of course. You need our help, Sabella." Paul said. "So, you're saying there are weapons being smuggled out of New York?"
"That's right. It would be most troubling for my country if those weapons fall into our enemy's hands." Sabella said. "I need your help to ensure those weapons don't leave the city for the sake of my people."
"We'll do everything we can to help." Paul said. "Keeping weapons off the streets, even outside of New York, is usually a good idea."
"Thank you, Paul." Sabella said as she placed her hand on his shoulder. "I knew I could count on you to help me with this." Sabella was very appreciative of what Paul was doing, but it annoyed Lindsay seeing Sabella try and get close to Paul.
"Yes..." Lindsay said as she grabbed Paul and pulled him away from her. "We'll try our best to help." Lindsay did want to help, but she isn't exactly fond of Sabella knowing she likes Paul to. Sabella actually wants to hit Lindsay, but is resisting the urge to do that.
"Do you have any ideas as to where those weapons could be?" Thomas asked.
"I can do a little investigating." Sabella said. "I do know that they plan to smuggle them through ship. The ship that's going the closest from New York to Symkaria won't arrive for a couple more days. At least we'll have some time."
"Good. Let us know as soon as you learn anything." Paul said with Sabella agreeing.
"Good." Lindsay said as she grabbed Paul's hand. "While we waiting, we should go, Spider. You and I have some unfinished business."
"After we do some research of our own to try and learn more about where the weapons are being stashed." Paul insisted. Lindsay didn't like it, but a deal's a deal. Lindsay dragged Paul away as the two of them were getting ready to leave.
"Unfinished business?" Sabella questioned.
"You don't want to know." Thomas said with annoyance.
...
Lindsay's Place
Paul gave Lindsay a lift back to her place. After spending most of the day searching for those weapons, and getting nowhere, Paul took Lindsay home. They went in through her balcony with Lindsay removing her black and white hair and mask.
"Don't tell me you're still jealous of Sabella." Paul said as he took off his mask.
"What if I am?" Lindsay said as she sat down on her bed.
"Maybe because we're not dating anymore. There's really no reason for you to be jealous." Paul said.
"We're not dating, but I still have feelings for you." Lindsay said. "We're doing what we're doing now because I didn't want the fun and excitement to end. You must feel the same since you agreed to do this." Paul didn't want to put up with this now. "I can't help how I feel, but I enjoy our time together. Even though we're not dating..." Paul didn't let her finish as he just kissed her. Lindsay was surprised and pushed him back. "What was that about?"
"Just my way of getting you to shut up. Do you really want to talk about this?" Paul said. "We didn't exactly finish earlier."
"No, but I like the way you get me to shut up." Lindsay said. The two of them kissed again and opened up their mouths to allow their tongues to dance around each other. Paul pushed her down on her bed and got her to lift her legs. It helped him removed her clothes. Once they were off, he slid his fingers against her underwear between her legs with her getting shivers up her spine. "You know, I do plan to love you like I'm still your girlfriend."
"Fine with me." Paul said as he removed his costume and started kissing her again. Even though they're not dating, they still go at each other with much passion. Just how long can that really last, especially since Sabella is coming back to the picture?
