Part 2

Amy was asleep again. She had been sleeping in the play pen as to make sure the kittens didn't run away, and to keep them compony. As expected, the kittens were upset without their father. Amy had been grooming them herself since Alex had been gone, Lex and Max seem irritated they are not properly cleaned, since Alex isn't her Well maybe they will learn to groom themselves, Amy thought when she first realized. Of course, right now she was still asleep. Amy had already run low on food, Alex had not bought enough, just as Amy predicted. Lea was awake. Lea was the only kitten awake right now, all the others were still sleeping by her mother. Lea stretched a bit before bracing herself to jump out of the playpen. Lea was going to leave! She was determined to find her father! Lea tried to jump out of the play pen, she managed to get half her body over the walls before she slid back down. She got back up without hesitation and began to brace herself again. She was really determined, she did another jump. Same results, half of her body made it over, then she fell. C'mon! She did this once before why can't she do it again? What Lea didn't know, was as soon as Alex and Amy got back, they raised the walls so the kittens couldn't get out. Lea got ready one more time, she looked at the top of the wall furiously, she was going to get past it, she pushed up with all of her might, she quickly grabbed the wall with her claws when she was half way up, with her claws clinging to the edge, she pulled herself up the wall. She made it, Lea was on top of the wall, she had an amazing view of the world! She could see everything in the main room! She jumped off the wall, and started towards the other door, Lea nor none of the kittens were ever allowed in the second room, and Lea was curious, Lea entered the second room and looked around, it was big in here, she claimed a few more of the Lego wall things, and made it to an area with two soft carpets on the ground, this must be where mommy and daddy sleeps! Lea thought to herself, she looked at the wall and saw giant pictures of her and her siblings faces. She was amused by what she saw, they were so big! But Lea had to ignore them, she was on a mission! A mission to find her father. Lea walked towards the exit of the house and pushed it open, she looked outside, she had never been here before! Of course, when her siblings ran out the house to find mommy and daddy, they left threw this exit, of course Lea checked the attic and got lost in the dark. But now she was able to be outside! On the grass! She had never felt it before, her mother said something about her still being too young, but Lea didn't care! She could finally feel the grass! She rolled around in it for a bit, enjoying how it felt on her fur. After 'playtime' was done she continued her task of looking for her father. After walking for a while, she realized, she had no clue where to look. She looked around and immediately thought about returning home, maybe to enlist the help of her much braver sister May, or maybe one of her brothers Max, or Lex. But she soon found out that she couldn't return back the way she came. Lea had gotten lost. Lea had always been the more frightened kittens, but she was determined to find her father, but she is lost now. All hope had Lea now, as she starting mewing hoping that someone could return her home. She heard some rustling behind her. She turned around and saw a big cat standing there, He was a tall cat, mostly black but he had some white, he looked very much un groomed, and his eyes where a frightening red, Lea would have been happy to see him if he didn't look so scary! She then looked at his necklace, it looked like to had a name on it, the cat spoke and caused Lea to jump "Why hello their little kitten, what is something like you doing here?" The cat asked, sounding genuinely concerned. Lea tried to answer but all that could come out it a mew. Lea rad the name on the necklace, it said Rigs, Rigs! That's who daddy was talking about! Lea was now happy, very happy. Maybe she will have succeeded after all, Lea tried her hardest to speak and tell Rigs that she was looking for her father, but all that came out was a mew, she still couldn't talk, she did the only thing she knew how to do when distressed, she began repeatedly mewing hopefully Rigs would understand. "Hey, please stop, it will be ok! Stop- "Rigs cut himself off, he took a long look at Lea, Lea stopped mewing, Rigs smiled and then spoke "Are you Amy's kitten?" He spoke. Yes! Yes, Lea was! How was she gonna tell Rigs though, Lea began mewing again, but louder than before. "Oh, you are now? Why don't you come with me, I'll take you home" No! Lea needed to find her father! But she couldn't disobey an adult cat. If Rigs knew her mother, he would definitely tell her. He was going to tell her anyway. Lea tried to mew more, trying to convince Rigs that her father was missing. "You want me to carry you? Ok then," Rigs said, he then put Lea on his back. Rigs fur was not very soft, it was much in need of grooming Rigs started walking somewhere. Although she didn't want to head home yet, she was happy Rigs was saving her. As a sign of appreciation, she started grooming Rigs, it wasn't very affected, considering she was still a kitten of course and didn't know how to groom herself yet. And they walked for about an hour, until Rigs approached a house, a house that Lea didn't recognize.
