We see three fishermen pulling in their chest before looking up to see Iron Man, Thor and the Avenjet
"Hey, you all haven't seen a big green-" Iron Man was saying before they all pointed in a direction "Thanks" he said before they flew away
"I can't believe I'm flying a jet" Janet said at the jets controls
"It's actually on autopilot" Iron Man said to them nonchalantly
"Kamala's gonna be sad she missed this" Naruto said as this was gonna be awesome
"Rubber and cold don't mix" Carol said
"Yeah and Felicia and Gwen had homework" Naruto said
"I hope Bruce is doing alright" Jennifer said worried about her cousin
"He can take care of himself, if only he didn't have Ross on his ass" Naruto said
"Found a crater" Iron Man said to them looking at the meteor sized hole in the ground
"That would be a prime example of the Hulk throwing a tantrum" Hank said to him
The avengers landed near the crater
"Got no readings of the big guy" Iron Man said looking around
"You and your machines Stark, you'd do better to trust your eyes and ears" Thor said as he looked at the obvious signs in the terrain
"I'm picking up a faint life sign, though it's so weird since I can't see or hear it" Iron Man said sounding smug
"Well let's go" Janet said as she flew past them
"Wasp hold up" Iron Man said
"I swear if we get attacked by some giant ice-" Janet was saying before she bumped into something and gasped at what she saw "Uh… that's... That's" she said seeing an all to familiar emblem and if she looked deeper she'd see the man
"Captain America… and he's alive" Naruto said sensing the man beneath the ice
(Outside New York)
The avengers looked as they were slowly thawing the captain out of the ice
"Careful don't go too fast you'll shock his system" Hank said
"I'm a cosmic superheroine now a blow dryer" Carol said as she gave him an annoyed look
"Amazing to be alive for decades frozen it's just-" Hank was saying before the captain jolted up
"BUCKY!" Captain America suddenly shouted as he shot up slamming his shield into Naruto's face
"Whoa Captain, you need to-" Hank was saying before Cap pushed him to the front where Janet was
"Captain you need to stop it's not 1945" Iron Man said only to get hit by Cap's shield
"What are you some sort of HYDRA automaton?" Cap asked as he tried to punch Tony in the face
"Wow Stark it usually takes minutes before someone wants to punch you but only one sentence and under 10 seconds that has to be a record" Naruto said as that was a little funny in his opinion
"Halt Captain, you are among friends" Thor said only for Cap to push the table at him
"Guys!" Janet said as their thrashing was messing with the ship
The battle then went on at the statue of liberty where they began drawing in a crowd
"Huh?" Captain America said seeing Japanese people and others with the american crowd
"Please sir, we need to get you to a hospital" Hank said as he came out of the water as a giant
"It is no use friend Pym, he will not yield" Thor said as he himself was the same way
"You got that right buddy" Cap said throwing his shield
"Again at the head" Naruto said as it bounced off his head
"I know you have a thick head but that's ridiculous" Wasp said as she was surprised he wasn't confused, dead, or bleeding heavily
"Ha ha" Naruto said sarcastically
Carol tried a blast only for Cap to redirect it at Hank and then back at her "ok starting to get a little impressed" she said as the man was truly living up to his legend and then some
Cap then grunted as Wasp stung the back of his head
"Sorry, sorry, I just need you to listen to me" Janet said
"Apologies miss, this soldier doesn't listen to Hydra soldiers, he takes them down" Cap said
"Okay then, don't listen, just look" Janet said leading him up some steps
Cap looked at a statue of himself and Bucky at the feet of the Statue of Liberty
"You've been asleep a long time Captain" Iron Man said
(few hours later)
"How are you doing?" Naruto asked sorta understanding the man in a way as the man was from a different time while he himself was from another universe it certainly gave one perspective
"As fine as can be thanks for the clothes" Steve said as Naruto gave him some clothes more suited for the military and some some to as close to his era as he could
"Well you and have a somewhat similar build" Naruto said with a chuckle "I know it must be strange me being… and what you were fighting back..." he said trying to console the man but was finding the words difficult
"I've fought alongside my share of japanese soldiers who wanted to help, how's the jaw?" Steve asked
"Still sore, vibranium hurts" Naruto said rubbing his jaw as the metal was a bitch at times especially when he fought the more refined version with T'Challa and Shuri
"When I went to sleep, we were at war now I wake up and wars over along with my world being gone" Steve said feeling like he didn't do his part
"I can understand that, somewhat. But is there anything you regret?" Naruto asked as he wondered if he could help him somehow
"I was supposed to go dancing" Steve said as he pulled out a picture of a woman
"Nice" Naruto said as she looked very beautiful. "Sharon Carter, right?" he asked curiously
"Yes, at least Hydra's gone" Steve said until something hit him "wait how did you know who she was?" he asked
"Yeah about that" Naruto said as he began telling Cap about Hydra today and about his girlfriend
(2 hours later)
"She's alive?" Steve asked in slight hope
"Yeah" Naruto said to him as he wanted to give the man some peace of mind "Before we go on did you ever have a friend named Dum Dum Dugan?" he asked curiously
"How'd you know that name?" Steve asked seriously
"He a member of the group called Shield always told old war stories about you, though I still haven't figured out how he stayed so young" Naruto said as he was guessing either mutant or some kinda cryogenics experiment
"Is she young?" Steve asked
"No man she aged I'm sorry to say she….went on in life" Naruto said
Steve was both sad and happy for a lot of reasons as he was sad he missed his opportunity and happy she lived a full life "Is she happy?" he asked
"Yeah, here's her address" Naruto said giving him a slip of paper
"Thank you" Steve said as he ran off
(Back at Avengers Mansion)
"Where's Cap?" Janet asked as Naruto entered the mansion
"Making peace with his past" Naruto said as sometimes if not always one needed to confront their past in order to move past whatever was holding them back pushing them farther than ever before
"You're sweet" Janet said giving him a peck on the cheek
"I know" Naruto said with a smile
(A Hydra Base)
We see Baron Strucker with Grim Reaper and a group of hydra soldiers as someone blew up the entrance to reveal Baron Zemo
"Zemo… it's Zemo" The soldiers began to say as they lowered their weapons and kneeled before Zemo
"Zemo I see you escaped as well" Strucker said as he 'welcomed' the man still barring much hate for him
"Strucker, I do believer you are sitting in my chair" Zemo said
"Hydra is mine to command" Strucker said
"Oh please, I was running Hydra when you were a child, now look at you, a child in a man's body" Zemo said as he was not impressed with him at all
"Reaper!" Strucker said calling out to him
Reaper charged and was easily disarmed before being send sliding back to the feet of Strucker, who stood up making his glove glow as Zemo grabbed his sword
"Baron... " A soldier said running in before seeing Zemo and kneeled
"What is it?" Strucker asked
"Captain America is alive" The soldier said holding a hologram of Captain America
Zemo turned and headed for the door a fire burning in his eyes one representing hatred and desire for bloodshed
"Where are you going?" Strucker asked wondering what he would do as the man was unpredictable on the best of times
"You can have Hydra, Wolfgang, all I want is Arnim Zola" Zemo said as he left
(? a few hours later)
Zola came down a elevator into a room filled with tubes
As he walked tendrils of what looked like dough came from behind but he slashed them making a creature roar as what looked like a floating ball of dough with limbs and a face appeared
"Enough my pet" a male voice said as a yellow ball was seen moving in the shadows to show a large figure with a face on its chest "You will have to excuse Dough Boy he is just excited to see that you escaped as well" Arnim Zola said
Dough Boy smiled as it put a hand on Zola's shoulder only for the man to push it off
A few minutes later we see Zemo laying on a berth as a machine came above him
"We did too good a job on Virus X, old friend, I have yet to find a cure but it is fortunate that you escaped when you did your last treatment has almost worn off if-" Arnim was saying as Zemo lied on the table
"Captain America is alive" Zemo said as a light went down his body
"Amazing! Erskine's Super Soldier Serum must be responsible, had we been able to receive a blood sample of the captain, we could've created an army of Super Soldiers..." Arnim said as he glanced at Zemo "And cured you of course, I still believe the captain's blood could hold the key to curing you" he said to him sounding almost positive
"You need his blood? I will bring you Captain America's head" Zemo said as he got off the berth "Unfortunately the captain seems to have found powerful allies" he said holding a hologram of the avengers knowing they'd be a hindrance as he had seen their exploits and was not one to not see the potential threat of an enemy
"I am the world's finest Bio-engineer scientist and over the years I have learned one thing… every problem has a solution" Zola said as he gestured to a tube that Dough Boy began to rise in
(Avengers mansion)
"How is she?" Naruto asked the captain
"She talked about you a lot" Cap said to him with a grin
"Oh god please don't tell Jan….or Tony….or anyone" Naruto said as he held his face
Steve chuckled a bit as she told him how she use to babysit Naruto when he was a baby and a few years after that
"Guess the Captain has a sense of humor" Naruto said as they laughed
"I never should have woken up, I'm a soldier, not some kind of futureman" Steve said as he felt so out of place
"Well the world has many challenges for us to face, perhaps this is one of them" Naruto said trying to console him "So… how's the room? Tony tried making it as much as the 40's as he could" he asked
Suddenly the radio on the dresser opened up to show Jarvis
"Sir, there is a guest I suggest you tend to I would ask Wasp, Kamala or Gwen but they are in their rooms with their headphones on again" Jarvis said
"Well as much as the 40's except the talking computer" Naruto said
"Where are the others?" Steve asked not seeing anyone else around
"Dealing with some kind of monster attack at the Statue of Liberty" Naruto said as easy as breathing as if it happened a lot
"Monster, describe it" Steve asked curiously
"Well… Tony said it kinda looked like living dough" Naruto said as that was certainly a new one but not the oddest
"Zola" Steve muttered as he got up and put his mask on
"Who?" Naruto asked wondering who the man knew that could make this and wondered how it was still around
"I need to get to my shield" Cap said as he ran out of the room followed by Naruto
"Duck" Naruto said as he grabbed Cap as a sword was thrown their way
"Clever boy" Zemo said slightly impressed
"Uh… who's sock head?" Naruto asked curiously
"Baron Zemo, but how are you alive?" Cap asked
"Over the years I have turned my body into more than that of a mere man, my captain, though I have to be glad that the drop in the Atlantic didn't kill you. I want that pleasure for myself and I would watch who you insult boy" Zemo said looking at Naruto
"What are you gonna do? start the Muppet show?" Naruto asked with a smirk
Naruto was suddenly grabbed by a floating Dough Boy "I had to ask!" he said
"Without your shield this'll be oh so easy" Zemo said as he twirled his sword
"What's going on?" Kamala said coming down the stairs with Gwen before ducking as Zemo shot at her
"Stay back!" Cap said to them warningly
"Don't have to tell us twice" Gwen said as the two ducked as her spider sense was ringing a little higher than usual
"Why isn't chakra working on this thing?!" Naruto said as no matter what he did the doughy monster just kept taking it and now it was trying to smother him
"I got your back!" Wasp said flying down and stinging the creature
Dough Boy groaned at the feeling of the stings
"That looked like it hurt him, keep going!" Naruto said wanting this thing to go to hell
Wasp kept stinging until the creature was right on her swallowing her before the muffled sound of her stingers went off before the creature burst all over the place
"Ew..." The girls said as they got covered in it as did everyone else
Zemo quickly shot them with his laser knocking them out as he did to Naruto and Wasp "Just you and me Captain" he said
"Good" Cap said
"This is my world, my time, you do not belong in it!" Zemo said as he tried slashing Cap landing one cut on the super soldier's back
Before Zemo could stab Cap, his shield was thrown to him by a man in a black cat suit that jumped away from the fight
"T'Challa" Naruto said with a grin
"May I ask who the man dressed in a sock is and why he is drenched in….what I can only hope is-" T'Challa was saying till Naruto cut him off
"Remains of a monster" Naruto said to him making the man sigh in relief
"The prince of Wakanda, I didn't factor you in arriving… till next we meet" Zemo said activating a device that made a bright flash covering his escape
"So T- and he's gone" Naruto said
"The others need our help" Wasp said in urgency
Cap stepped on his shield making it flip into his hands "Let's move people" he said feeling a wave of nostalgia and some peace in the conflict
(Liberty Island)
"Would someone do something?!" Iron Man said as nothing they were doing was stopping the giant dough boy monster
Cap's shield cut the tendrils off from Iron Man and freed him while Wasp flew around stinging the others free
"Hank you're the science wizz, even though I'm smart, this is your field, why is Wasp's stings so effective?" Naruto asked curiously
"Bio Energy this is one of Zemo's experiments" Hank said to him in surprise
"You know that mad man?" Cap asked having his opinion of the scientist waver as he felt that learning the type of science other people practiced would eventually lead someone to doing it
"I've worked on a few of his experiments they all had one weakness, instability, and if I can increase that instability" Hank said as he did adjustments on his helmet making a sonic wave that pushed away much of the monster "Iron man adjust your repulsors to the frequency my helmet is putting out" he said
"Jarvis, what he said" Tony said as he wanted this to end now
"Done sir" Jarvis said to him completing the task not a moment later
Tony unleashed his unibeam and it demolished the dough boy monster but got everyone covered in the residue
"And I just got the stuff off" Kamala said as she felt like she'd need 10 showers
"Gross, cleaning this suit is a bitch" Naruto said
"Ugh it's in my hair" Carol said

"Arnim, your experiment failed… Arnim?" Zemo said before finding a light that the Enchantress made showing a restrained Zola
"Welcome Zola, I am here with a proposition for you" Amora said
(Back at the mansion)
"19 showers and I still smell like that thing" Naruto said feeling disgusted
"Super soldiers, giant monsters, war machines, was that how it was in the 40's?" Tony asked Steve feeling much more respect for him and his father's time
"No… sometimes it got strange" Steve said as this was a normal day for him
"Was that a joke? Captain America has a sense of humor" Tony said as he chuckled a little "Here something for you" he said handing him a picture frame
"Howard Stark" Steve said seeing a picture of him shaking the man's hand
"My father, he looked up to you" Tony said as his father did tell him stories about him
"Thank you" Steve said "Now where is the avenger I have to thank for coming to my rescue, the one in the black cat suit?" he asked
"Which one?" Tony asked as there were two or three
"There's another one?" Steve asked
"It wasn't a cat, it was a panther" Naruto said correcting the captain
"We can talk about it in the morning, right now I want to sleep and you need a shower as you still stink" Tony said to Naruto
Naruto sniffed himself and gagged "Damn dough monster" he said
(The Next day)
"Okay how the hell did he get in let alone down to the war table to get your shield?" Tony asked seeing the footage
"That's T'challa for ya" Naruto said as he trained with the man and he was up to par with ninja skills without chakra
"Sir we have a intruder at the front gate" Jarvis said
Everyone ran outside to see the very man in question
"Hey T'C-" Naruto was saying before he was struck by a vibranium blast
"And you call him your friend?" Steve asked
The Avengers all tried to attack him but T'Challa stopped all their attempts
Suddenly as he charged a hand grabbed him by the ear to reveal Shuri
"Ow, ow, ow!" T'Challa said
"For as great as you are big brother I always manage to get the drop on you" Shuri said
"Thank you… can someone help me with my arms? After those jabs I can't feel them" Kamala said as that really hurt and her arms were just laying stretched out
"Okay one, that fucking hurt, two what the hell?! Why did you attack us?" Naruto said
"You misunderstand I was simply seeing what you could do" T'Challa said with a chuckle
"Do for what?" Felicia asked as she and Gwen were helping Kamala retract her arms
"... I need your help" T'Challa said as he removed his mask
(one explanation later)
T'Challa held Shuri after he told her that M'Baku killed their father
"All you needed to do was ask" Naruto said to him as they all got dressed
"So we have Hydra and the people of Wakanda to deal with?" Kamala said
"It will not be easy, I have practically been banished and Shuri cannot go as M'Baku has put out a kill on sight order on her" T'Challa said to him sadly
"It is my home, I should go and help, T'Chaka was my father too" Shuri said firmly
"I'm not risking your life, we're going" Naruto said as he knew Shuri could fight but not on the level of her brother
"But-"
"Your father had me promise to protect you and I'm gonna be sure to do that" Naruto said firmly putting his foot down as T'Challa agreed wholeheartedly
"Just be sure to follow my instructions and we will be fine" T'Challa said
(Few hours later)
"You owe me a jet" Iron Man said flying down from the ruined Avenjet
"I told you this route was dangerous, you did not listen" T'Challa said not paying for something he clearly told Tony to avoid but like always Tony listened to his ego
"Now - I hate it when he does that" Naruto said as T'Challa disappeared on them
"He did not just leave us" Iron Man said in annoyance
"He left" Carol said with a chuckle
"Arashikage, Cap, go after him" Iron Man said feeling a headache coming
"But you- understood" Cap said as the two left
"Wow he didn't argue or anything, people take notes" Iron Man said
"He's a soldier he follows orders, even bad ones now it's just all of us versus the people of Wakanda" Hank said
"That shows how much faith I've got in- whoa!" Iron Man said as he caught a spear
"Spears, they're using spears?" Kamala said in surprise as that seemed outdated
Suddenly the spearhead began to vibrate before exploding
"Exploding spears got it" Kamala said backing up a little
Within the blink of a eye they found themselves surrounded by Wakandan warriors
"And I passed up a good walk with Pete and MJ for this" Gwen said as she and everyone else got ready
(With Naruto)
"Your skills seem to have gotten rusty, old friend, you two are sticking out of the jungle" T'Challa said as Naruto and Cap climbed to the branch he was on
"Okay what was that, first you want our help then you ditch us? What are we a distraction for the wakandans?" Naruto asked as T'Challa seemed desperate as this was not how he normally was
"I must do this" T'Challa said to him firmly
"Look buddy, unless we get some answers were gonna see how rusty his skills and mine are compared to yours" Cap said as he reached for his shield
T'Challa huffed as he removed his mask "M'Baku took away my father forever, and I could do nothing, I do not expect you two to know how that feels but I must do this" he said as he continued through the jungle
'I may have an idea' Naruto thought as when he first learned how he lost his parents he felt so angry it was maddening
(With the others)
Everyone was panting as they held off the warriors
"Look at this tech, decades over ours" Hank said looking at a spear head
"Who cares?" Kamala said as she was literally deflated, laying on the ground
"Whoo, way to go team." Iron Man said exhausted
"And now to deal with Hydra." Carol said in exhaustion
"Starting to wish we stayed home with Jennifer" Felicia said as she was kinda wishing she bailed
"Somebody had to keep a eye on Shuri" Gwen said as who better than quite possibly the strongest woman on the planet
"Can someone help me get back up? I can't feel my… anything" Kamala said as her exhaustion left her unable to get back up from her deflated state
"Try blowing air into your thumb" Iron Man said chuckling
"I'm not a cartoon character" Kamala said using what little strength she had to flip him the finger but her finger being so much larger pushed the point a little farther
"Uh… how do we help? Blow into you or something?" Gwen said as she wasn't really sure how to help her
(With T'Challa)
"I am King, not the Black Panther, the Panther is no more!" M'Baku, a monster of a man that wore the skin of a white ape, said to the village elder
"Wrong, The Black Panther, challenges you for the throne M'Baku!" T'Challa said to him
"A challenge has been issues by tradition you must fight" The elder said to M'Baku
"I have no use for tradition, crush the panther cub" M'Baku said to the two female guards
The two dora milaje looked at each other but then looked at T'Challa before charging
(Back with the others)
In the vibranium mine we see the villain, Grim Reaper standing watching hydra agents making vibranium until a explosion goes off at the entrance
"You're on our list, pal, you're number 34 but I think we can take you early" Wasp said
"Finally, someone to hurt" Reaper said as he was antsy for some action and was craving some bloodshed
He charged at them making Ironman back off and blocked Wasp's stings
A bearded man known as Ulysses Klaw was watching "Are you all insane? You cannot do this in the Vibranium mine!" he said
Then Hank on a flying ant flew in his face "Do you know what I like most about Africa? Dorylus mandibularis. Better known as African army ants" he said as many ants came into the cave
Klaw shouted as the ants began to cover him
Ironman, Black Cat, Ms. Marvel, Ghost Spider and Captain Marvel were handling the Hydra agents but unknown to them the mound began to spark with purple energy
"Pym, you fool. The Vibranium Mound. If it absorbs too much energy" Klaw said as he pointed his sonic weapon at him
"It'll overload. And with that much Vibranium the explosion will take out half of Africa" Hank said as his mind played out the scenario "Everyone!"
A lone Hydra soldier fired at Hank only to miss hitting the mound
"No, stay back!" Klaw said blasting the soldier knocking him a fair distance away
"I think we're done with you Klaw" Reaper said as he fired at the platform Klaw was on sending him falling into the Vibranium with his weapon still going 'idiot' he thought as Klaw looked surprised when he did that as it was well known that if the mission was a failure he would run and possibly kill anyone who worked with him
As Klaw laid in the Vibranium it began to vibrate when suddenly he began to change
"Klaw, no!" Ant-Man said as his weapon and the vibranium would generate a massive amount of energy
Everyone took notice as the Vibranium Mound began to glow which began to rise to the top and rose up taking shape
"The sound… the sound… I am the Sound." The mutated Klaw said before cackling "I can hear you, Hydra, you snakes." he said sing-song like before snake like appendages came out of his shoulders striking any of the soldiers he chose before one picked one up before Wasp stung it making the appendage let the soldier go
Ironman and Captain Marvel blasted it in the face only to get knocked out of the air like flies
"All ships, take whatever Vibranium you have and launch. Hydra's pulling out." Reaper said calmly making his way to his vehicle when one snake appendage grabbed the Vibranium they collected right out of the train like ship it was in
"That's mine!" Sound said
Reaper growled annoyed as he got in his ship which narrowly avoided a snake
"So, does anyone have a plan? Mine's earplugs, but it's kinda short term" Ms. Marvel asked
(Back with T'Challa)
T'Challa was on the defensive as the two Dora Milaje were skilled and he did not want to harm them
One knocked him down and the two stood over him with their spears
M'Baku laughed evilly at T'Challa "Your father trained them well, cub" he said
"You do not have to do this" T'Challa said to them
The two looked at each other in thought before taking their serious face again and prepared to bring their spears down when one spear got cut by a kunai and the other by Cap's shield
"You can face Man Ape alone, anyone else is fair game" Cap said as he stood with Arashikage
"Tear the outsiders apart, I will deal with the panther" M'Baku said getting up
(Back with the others)
Wasp hit Sound with a bunch of stings her attacks seemingly do next to nothing
"Sting, sting, bug! Sting! Bugs get crushed" Sound said as he got bigger and sent out a sonic wave that echoed loudly
"Nothing's working!" Black Cat said
"Try anything" Iron man said
"If Naruto was here this would be over in a snap" Ms. Marvel said as she knew
"Yeah well kid he's not here and you can't always rely on your boyfriend for everything" Iron Man said
(Back with Naruto)
Cap and Naruto were holding their own against the Dora Milaje as T'Challa stood before M'Baku
'Really loving this country' Naruto thought as he rarely got any good
M'Baku growled as he then pounded his chest like the man-ape he was before leaping at T'Challa slamming his fist down but T'Challa moved
The Man-Ape chased after T'Challa only to miss every hit
T'Challa looked at him as he began to pant before pulling out a vibranium dagger out of his suits wrist before charging punching, slashing and kicking
M'Baku groaned as he got kicked knocking him down
T'Challa then turned the vibranium into a staff "Shall I show you the same mercy you showed my father?" he said challengingly wanting to rip the man's throat out or give him a slow but agonizing death
"Ask him yourself when you join him" M'Baku said holding the same sonic device he used to take down T'Chaka when he challenged him for the throne
T'Challa shouted covering his ears
"T'Challa!" Naruto said before receiving a kick to the face
M'Baku kicked T'Challa sending him into one of the stone pillars "A gift from Klaw. Fitting. You meet your end the same way your father did. But you are not even the man he was. You go to outsiders for help. No outsider can help you now" he said ready strike him when a explosion happened making him turn around to see Reaper's ship coming out of the mountain narrowly missing a sonic serpent strike
T'Challa groaned as he got to his feet and began to walk towards M'Baku
'Kick his ass' Naruto thought as he saw no reason to interfere
M'Baku began to walk backwards shocked that T'Challa could do anything with the sonic device activated
"I am not the same man as my father, M'Baku… for my rage is greater" T'Challa said as he punched him in the face knocking him over before breaking the device feeling less pain than before
(Back with the others)
"Blasting him wasn't your best option" Ant-Man said
"Hank you understand this stuff better than I do. What happened and how do we stop it?" Ironman asked
"Whatever's happened to Klaw, it would appear that he's become some kind of sound-form. His body is made of pure sound." Ant-Man said
"Anyway to shut him up?" Ghost Spider asked
"I vote taking the thing in his chest" Black Cat said as that was the only thing solid about him
"But how do we get it without getting turned into jelly?" Ms. Marvel asked knowing their bodies could only take so much damage from the continuously loud sound
"We can contain it with the same thing that caused this. Vibranium" Ant-Man said "Keep him busy, ladies, me and Tony have work to do" he said as they began looking through the mine
"Keep him busy, he makes it sound so easy" Captain Marvel said
(With T'Challa)
The Black Panther saw the people beginning to show seeing him over M'Baku's unconscious body "This is the man who has brought catastrophe to our land. The one who took your king through cowardice and dishonor." he said to his people loudly making a declaration
"T'Challa!" The village elder said before the people began chanting the name
"Hey uh, yeah no need to rush but can you get them to stop!" Arashikage yelled as he had a foot in his neck
"Stand down" T'Challa said to them commandingly knowing Naruto only held back because they were ordered but it was a little funny to him still
Naruto coughed and rubbed his throat "I need to train more, and how can a suit with vibranium in it still get dented. I'm going back to Shuri with a second opinion, I feel tricked" he said feeling ticked off
T'Challa chuckled as he helped Naruto up "There was only so much vibranium Shuri could sneak past father" he said as Shuri was sure to have been limited
"I knew it!" Naruto said as he felt a little cheated
Cap looked at the Vibranium mound knowing the others were facing off against their own opponent
(Back with the others)
"I'm so used to, you know, Arashikage, ah, coming in at the last second to help" Ms. Marvel said as she could almost swear that her ears were gonna start bleeding
"We don't need any man's help we ladies can handle this… this… whatever it is" Captain Marvel said as despite her powers her enhanced senses were a hindrance in cases like this
"Enough! Enough, you make annoying sounds. Sound is vibration, sound pressure. Ha, ha, ha, ha, pressure!" Sound shouted sending out a pulse wave knocking them all down which was so great it went outside
"Ah, you know I thought this plan would involve a bit more high tech" Iron man said finishing making a container out of the vibranium with his, now, demolished drill
"A jar that's your plan" Captain Marvel said feeling like they were doomed
"The Vibranium should contain the sound from Klaw's sonic emitter. There's a small chance that the vibrational shock wave could cause destructive interference and then explode" Ant-Man said looking at the rest of the vibranium in the cave
Iron Man stood up with the vibranium container "I heard destructive and explode" he said not liking those words in particular
"You do realize what he's gonna have to do to get to that thing right?" Wasp said as it was kinda obvious and seemed extremely suicidal
Iron Man looked at the emitter "I have to go inside him… there has to be a way to not make that sound wrong" he said as he shivered in disgust
"It may tingle, a lot" Ant-Man said not helping his friend further increasing the wrongness
"Great." Iron Man said as he felt both disgusted and foreboding the pain he knew he was gonna feel
"Hurry I don't think Ms. Marvel can take anymore sonic blasts" Ghost Spider said as Ms Marvel's body could handle a lot but she didn't want to push it
Iron Man flew up right into the mouth of the Sound "This is less tingle and more like horrible pain!" he shouted wanting to beat the shit out of Hank for down playing it so much
Jarvis began to count down to how long the suit could last before Iron Man reached the device "Got it!" he said before flying right into the vibranium
The sound let out one last roar before vanishing
"I can't believe that worked. Tony you did great. How do you feel?" Ant-Man asked
Iron Man was lying on the Vibranium vibrating "Great. Now make me stop vibrating" he said
(Few moments later)
The guards escorted the others back to T'Challa
"You all look like shit" Arashikage said
"Shut up" The ladies said as they had it tough enough as it was
"Shutting up" he said quickly not wanting to enrage them
"The true King of Wakanda has returned. Now we purify our land of the outsiders and return to the old ways" the elder said as he kneeled before him
"Fuck you to" Naruto said as purifying people usually meant purging or just straight up eradicating
"Rise, my friend. Outsiders may have threatened Wakanda, but Outsiders also helped save it. The old ways allowed Man-Ape to do this and the old ways must change." T'Challa said as he looked at the guards making them stand down "My first order as King is to let the Council lead Wakanda. A council of the people. We can no longer hide ourselves away, waiting for our enemies to come to us. What happens in Wakanda affects the world, so I, much like my sister did, will go out into the world. I will fight alongside our new allies." he said
"You attacked us, you used us, you abandoned us. Now you want to join us? Why should we trust you?" Iron Man asked
"You shouldn't. I will earn your trust… should you allow me to join you." T'Challa asked and declared to them a little more formally then his previous actions
"He's probably our best bet for a ride home, too" Wasp said to Tony reminding him of the crashed jet
"You're in" Iron Man said wanting to go home as he had enough today
(Few days later)
"Don't you have some woman to be sleeping with?" Tony asked Naruto as he worked on his suit
"Touchy, and ain't that calling the-" Naruto was shut up by the look Stark shot at him "Super touchy, what's wrong?" he asked
"Simon Williams, he thinks I bought his company to ruin him but he just doesn't understand" Tony said
"Besides Tony, he's all alone, his parents took their sister out of town for trip, the girls are at the mall, Shuri and T'Challa are in the Wakandan Embassy, Jennifer is still trying to get a hold of her cousin, and Janet, Carol and Thor are chasing A.I.M" Hank said making himself known
"Yeah, I got nobody to hang out with" Naruto said "So what's got you two in a mood besides this Williams guy" he asked
"Aren't you supposed to be the world's best ninja? Figured you'd know" Tony said sounding like he was both asking and taunting
"Low blow" Naruto said
"What's gotten you in a mood, you're usually a sparkling ball of sunshine" Tony asked as this was a drastic change in his character
"I think I'm losing my powers" Naruto said to him
"Yeah that's real funny, now be serious" Tony said
"I am. Everytime I use my powers, my chakra I feel there is less and less, and every time I use my Rinne-Sharingan I feel like I'm going blind" Naruto said as his body felt such a heavy strain
"Okay that's impossible you said Chakra was like a life force, you can't just lose a life force" Tony said until his eyes widened "are you….dying" he asked him that being the only thought that made sense to him
"Is this how T'Challa managed to get the drop on you?" Hank asked
"To be honest, my body feels like it can't handle all the power I have. I mean I've trained and trained… maybe I didn't train hard enough" Naruto said as he thought maybe he was to powerful and his body was failing due to the strain
"That's impossible, you heal, you can't just die" Hank said as he had studied Naruto's biology and had seen his healing factor as possibly the best in the world
"I don't think I'm dying, I think something out there is draining my chakra, or taking chakra into itself" Naruto said
"Okay we can look into that later" Tony said as he suited up
"Oh so we're back to arguing?" Hank asked
"You say I only care about money and business over people but you're wrong" Tony said as he had said that like he was use to saying it
"Everything you've done has been to clean up a mess you made" Hank said before a explosion went off
"Well I didn't make that one" Tony said sarcastically
Tony flew up to his office and found a man made of some kind of purple energy "Well I didn't really need a office" he said
"Stark!" The energy man said
"Have we met?" Ironman asked not recognizing him at all
"I told you, I wouldn't let you take my company" The man said
"Simon? Simon, oh man. What happened to you?" Tony asked before groaning as Simon began to tear off pieces of his armor like they were nothing "That, that's not possible. Simon what have you done?" he said
"You should be more worried about what I'm going to do" Simon said before he shoved Tony's face through a wall
Tony saw Pepper "Pepper, go! Get out of here." He said in urgency as he wanted her safe
"Pretending to care about people like that. I built my company from nothing. It was all I had, and you took it from me!" Simon said as he threw Tony at a window cracking it
"You didn't let me finish." Tony said in pain
"Oh believe me you're finished. You're going to feel helpless," Simon picked up Stark's desk and demolished it "You're going to know what it's like when someone powerful crushes you." he said
"Not that he doesn't have it coming, but I can't let you hurt Tony." Hank said on a flying ant getting between the two
"You! You're one of the Avengers" Simon said
"I am. I'm hoping we can sit down and talk this out, scientist to scientist. And I wouldn't mind taking a look at you. Is that ionic energy you're made of?" Hank said before getting swatted
Simon looked back to see Tony's big screen coming down before getting kicked through it by Naruto
"Ugh, what is with that guy? That hurt me more than it did him" Naruto said
"I think we found out why Naruto got sick all of a sudden" Hank said chalking up Naruto's weakness to being that of Simon's ionic energy
"Yeah I don't feel so good" Naruto said as he felt his vision begin to blur
"Go, I can handle Simon" Hank said as this was one of the few moments he knew he had to fight as Naruto's life was possibly on the line
"I'm not just leaving you" Tony said not wanting to abandon Hank
"I didn't say don't come back, now go. Avengers Assemble!" Hank said activating his ID card
"He's right, my suit, it may be able to lesson the effects" Naruto said as he helped Tony up
Tony and Naruto flew out of the room, and the farther Naruto got from Simon the better he felt
"Guess you really do have a kryptonite" Tony said jokingly as they kept moving
"Yeah and it sucks" Naruto said as he didn't wanna experience this again
"By the way do you just always carry a domino mask around?" Tony asked as Naruto was wearing one
"Gotta protect my identity don't I?" Naruto said with a chuckle 'ok ok I can feel my chakra is getting back to normal "really gotta build up a tolerance to that crap' he thought to himself as he had a guess with how much Simon had was the key issue as if it were more low doses he'd be able to build up a resistance
"Yeah but you can't get close to him, not without becoming as weak as a slug, let us handle this." Tony said as he ran into his work shop to get something
"Yeah like I ever back down from a fight" Naruto said to himself "I do have some long range attacks" he said as he made some truth seeking orbs appear
(With Hank)
Hank was giant as he slammed his hand down on Simon "Please Simon, you have to listen to me" he said before struggling as Simon pushed his hand off and began to grow to his size "You're able to expand the ionic energy, that's amazing!" he said before getting slugged in the face right into a building
"You're a builder, an inventor" he said as he stopped Simon's punch and tried restaining him "Not a destroyer" he said before Simon shouted going even bigger and throws Hank off of him
"I am what Stark forced me to become!"
"Don't blame others for your choices" Naruto said yelling from outside outside the effect radius of Simon
"I know what Tony did was wrong, but violence won't solve anything" Hank said "Is this who you want to be? A villain? A criminal?" he asked making Simon stop "I don't think so. You're a good person, Simon. And I'll help you if you let me." he said trying to reach out to him like he had for everyone
Simon began to shrink down back to human size "I never meant to… I-" Simon was saying before we was caught in a blue blast
"No!" Hank said as Tony was in a really big suit
"That's enough. I don't know what happened to you Simon, but clearly you lost it" Tony said as he fired
"Stark." Simon said before blasting the suit's right arm destroying it
Tony slammed a fist against Simon's energy field only to get flipped and tossed
"Idiot" Naruto said as Tony really jumped the gun sometimes 'ugh my attacks are barely doing anything' he thought to himself
"Goodbye, Tony" Simon said firing another eye beam only to hit Cap's shield as he arrived on a motorcycle
"Please tell me that was someone arriving fashionably late" Tony said
"Where'd you get the bike?" Naruto asked
"Long story" Steve said as he blocked another shot
As Tony grabbed Simon, he noticed Simon's energy was beginning to go crazy "Oh no, Simon your energy! It's destabilizing" He said as that meant one of two things he was gonna blow up or fade away and he did not like the first option
Simon didn't listen as he tossed Tony who got caught my Hank
"Simon's ionic field is unstable. I think he's going into critical. Hank we gotta save him" Tony said
"I-I don't know if we can. Look at the ions. He's too far-" Hank was saying
"Hank, please" Tony said needing him to try
"Okay, we need something to contain the energy, to stabilize it." Hank said
"Got it." Tony said looking at his arc reactor and his building
(3 minutes later)
Tony burst into his tower's arc reactor room holding Simon getting him close to the arc reactor
"No this is all I have left, this power!" Simon said as he sent a large blast wave that demolished Tony's suit before grabbing him but when he tried to punch him his hand shattered "Wait, what- what's happening to me?" he said
"Simon, listen. The Arc reactor can absorb your energy. It can keep you alive" Tony said as it'd act like a container not letting his energy
The others arrived
"Listen to him, Simon. If you don't let us help, you'll-" Hank said
"Help me get him into the reactor, come on, Simon. Hold it together. We'll figure out a way to save you" Tony said
Simon's energy began to turn red and fall apart "Wait, WAIT!" he shouted before he disappeared
"This- this isn't what I wanted. I was trying to explain to him. I bought Simon's company to save it. It wasn't going to survive. I knew Simon had brilliant tech and development. I wanted to work with him, to save what he built. All I wanted to do was help him" Tony said sadly thinking he had come very far from the man he was before he was Iron man
(Later that night)
Purple energy rose up out of the ground to show Simon "What- What's happening to me? Am I alive?" he asked not understanding how he was still alive and standing
"Indeed you are. As long as my magic allows it. I've brought you back, I've given you life in exchange for one simple task. Destroy the avengers" Enchantress said with a smirk
