"Have you looked at the news Diana?" Hannah asks her. She shows Diana a newspaper.
Diana grabs it, when she reads the newspaper, she almost chokes on her tea. There were a series of attacks on the magical community, but not by dark witches or from monsters, but by people. Humans, nonmagical folk.
"This is tragic," Diana says sadly, she couldn't believe people can be this evil.
"Read even closer, they have a suspect, someone named Atsuko Kagari," Hannah says, she points to the name in the newspaper.
"Atsuko...I think I know that name, but I don't remember," Diana mutters to herself. She got up from the table and walked to the dorm room door.
"Diana? Where are you going?" Hannah asked.
"To look something up, don't mind me," Diana replies before she leaves the dorm.
Diana goes into the school files, she looks into the A's and K's and she sees something that catches her eye. Atsuko Kagari, a rejected Luna Nova student. She was rejected by Luna Nova because she wasn't a full-blooded witch. Diana felt her throat become dry, she knew that the Cavendish family were and still is extremely prejudiced against anyone of non-magical blood. She didn't know this Atsuko, but if she was doing this because she was rejected from Luna Nova, then she would probably attack the school next.
Diana warned the students and the teachers, who instead of trying to evacuate the school, decided that they will take the fight to Atsuko, they started to prepare, grabbing all of the magic spells and potions that they need to deal with Atsuko and her band of witch killers.
"I'll fight for Luna Nova, but I don't think we need to do this," Diana says to Sucy as she mixes more potions.
"She kills witches, she needs to be stopped," Sucy says bluntly. She gives Diana two glowing green potions. "If killing feels wrong for you, then just stand to the side and just let someone else kill her."
Diana bit her lip nervously, Sucy leaves to join the other witches outside, she follows her. As the witches stood outside, a long whistle was heard. Diana looked up, she saw a bomb fall down, she summoned a force field at the last minute to protect everyone, but other bombs started to fall down from the sky and drop on the witches and on the school.
Everyone started to clamber around, multiple gunshots were heard, Diana looked around to see a few witches on the ground with gunshot wounds, she couldn't believe it, but Atsuko was getting the drop on them, maybe she knew about their magic problem, she knew that they would be outside of the school, pretty far away from their only source of magic for a recharge. Diana was surprised, Atsuko is very smart.
Diana called out to a couple of witch students to follow her back to the school, but as they did, they got shot from behind her, Diana cried out, but when she tried to perform a spell she felt a blunt object hit behind her head and she felt her world go dark.
Diana woke up tied to a chair, she looked around and saw that she was in her dorm room. She sees Hannah, Barbara, Sucy, Lotte, and Amanda dead at her feet, Diana starts to hyperventilate, her classmates, all of her friends, dead. Diana saw someone walk out of the darkness and kick Lotte's body over.
"Don't touch her!" Diana yells.
"Just did," A female voice says. Atsuko was wearing body armor, combat boots, and had a knife holder on her ankle. She pulls out Diana's wand that she had taken from her and breaks it in half. "Oh, Diana Cavendish, the Hitler Jr, of Luna Nova."
"I know why you're doing this, you got rejected, you wanted revenge on Luna Nova," Diana says, she struggles against the ropes that tied her down. She couldn't look at the floor, the bodies were still there.
"Yes, but not just all of the teachers and students of Luna Nova, but every witch. You think you're better than me, deciding who gets to use magic and who doesn't. I had dreams! I looked up to you, to all of you! But no, you didn't want someone from Japan that wasn't from a magical family, you wanted someone who was part of one!" Atsuko shouts, she slowly takes out her gun from her belt. "Everyone in this school is already dead, I took down the stone, I just gotta kill you, Luna Nova's golden girl."
"Atsuko no! Please, don't do this! You can change, I know you can!" Diana shouts.
Atsuko points her gun and Diana's head, but she didn't shoot, "No, killing you would be too easy, let's take a visit to your family."
Diana tried to protest, but she was knocked out.
After burning down the Cavendish estate and forcing Diana to watch, she made a prison for Diana where she stayed. Atsuko now had a new plan, to hunt down and kill every other witch. But when she started to set her guns and give her orders to the witch hunters, she saw a map appear in blue light in front of her. She grabbed it and took a look.
"Multiverse?" Atsuko wonders as she continued to take a closer look.
