I'm sorry to say that I won't be putting any Italian words in because I'm afraid that I'll mess up the translation. So if something is supposed to be said in Italian, it'd be like "this."

Also I'm saying this with all the shamelessness I can gather, I named this OC 'de Rosè' because of Rosè from Blackpink (the kpop group) And 'Aion' because it's the name of one of the forgotten protegenos deities in Greek mythology (e.g Eros, Ourea, Ananke, Aether, Hemera, etc.. ). The fact that it's androgynous was a plus. (I was already planning on using the name, anyway)

"Aion De Rosè" doesn't that just sound so pretty?

~{the ground floor of the De Rosè building, 2000.}~

Aion was awed as they stepped out of the elevator, their bodyguards, mother, grandfather, and their guardians' assistants just behind them. They're now on the ground floor of the De Rosè's private building. The lobby was so much different; people in suits, business outerwear, janitor clothes(whatever that is). In contrast to Aion's own lonely floor that the only occupant was themself and the occasional servants bringing food or helping them bathe, just the place near the elevator was so much more lively.

"Grandpa, can I go to a 'park?" They looked up to the man, full of hope.

Aion once saw that one in a cartoon. The place seemed to always have other kids playing.

Ciro patted their head. "Of course," he said, before turning to his secretary, speaking something like, "rent or buy a kids park but don't inform the kids playing there for my granddaughter this instant."

The child was pulled from their hands and suddenly, they're reminded of their mother's intertwined with theirs. Aion looked up at their mother. "Mama..?"

Angelica smiled stiffly. "My dear, remember what I told you?"

Oh, that. "Um, don't talk to strangers, don't follow strangers, and…"

"Hm?" Angelica hummed expectedly.

"Uh…"

"Oh, how will you survive the outside world, my innocent daughter?" She sighed. "The last one is; try not to make any friends. "

"Huh?" Aion frowned. "Why?" Don't kids go to parks to make friends?

Angelica scowled. "Because, Ai, it will only bring you danger."

••••

Aion still didn't get what their mother meant by her words; the kids there were friendly, if not slightly curious of the child's Entourage of bodyguards, other than that, they welcomed the new member to the playground just fine.

"Hey, your eyes are soo pretty!" Said a girl with beautiful dark skin that introduced herself as Aneka, if Aion remembered correctly, while sitting on the swing next to them.

The child with eyes that are soo pretty nodded politely. "Thanks, if you don't mind me asking, what color are they now?"

Aneka tilted her head, her curls bouncing lightly, as if wondering why Aion would not know their own eye color. "It's a pretty yellow!! I've never saw anybody's eyes that was ever that color before!"

"Oh," she says pretty way too much. "Thank you." They said, but Aneka had already moved away to play with another person to hear them.

Aion looked downwards in disappointment and pouted. "Miss, are your friends not to your liking?" He said, as if the children were just playthings that could be replaced.

The child looked up to meet with one of their bodyguards; pure black sunglasses, a black white suit, and a not visible mic probably hidden in his person.

They shook their head. "No, it's not that. It's just that…"Aion trailed off when their eyes caught sight of a…..horse? Well, it looks like what a horse would be. But it's odd, it has wings. If the horse were a pony, then it would be a Pegasus.

"Hmm?" Aion wondered as they jumped down from the swing.

When they tried to walk towards the winged horse, their bodyguard stepped in front of them. "Miss, is there somewhere you want to go?"

"Don't follow me," Aion frowned, " and tell the others that it's okay."

Somehow, the guard instantly obeyed. He nodded, and hurriedly went away.

Aion blinked. Huh. They ignored the urge to find out how they did it and went to search for the supposed Pegasus.

They titled their head at the brown furred Pegasus snorting at Aion. They hummed. "Are you real? Grandpa told me that Pegasus aren't actually real, so how are you here?"

But then they turned to a loud voice from their left.

"Hey! Kid, what are you doing–woah."

Aion looked up and down at the person that doesn't look much older than themself, really. He somehow had bright golden hair, and sky blue eyes with a friendly face. The person seemed to be fixated at Aion's own eyes.

So they asked, "what color are they?"

"Huh?" Aion isn't sure if the 'huh?' Was because of the sudden question, not because of their Italian accent.

The golden blond looked confused so Aion said, "what color are my eyes for you?"

"Haha!" The person smiled and laughed surprisingly cheerfully. "It's the exact color of the sun!" But then he paused and muttered, "no mortal has unnatural eye pigments unless they're a demigod.."

"Sorry?" Mortal? Demigod?

"Oh, excuse me, I'm Lee. Lee fletcher. " Lee brought out his hand, possibly expecting a handshake.

Unfortunately, Aion just stared at his hand. They already broke two of their mother's words, the child wondered if they took Lee's hand, will Aion be kidnapped like how their guardians always say?

And so, Aion shook it after an awkward second. "I'm...Aion De Rosè."

Aion watched as Lee turned away to look at the Pegasus. "Hey, you can see her, right?"

"Hmm?" Aion hummed. "Yes, why?"

"Really that's great! Well, not really that great because if you suddenly attract mon…..oh gods." It seemed as though he said some kind of swear, as he looked at something in the distance.

Aion frowned and turned to see what Lee was seeing. Then their eyes widened. They saw a weird looking anima–no, creature that had a lion's body but had an eagle for its head and wings?

Why did Aion see so many winged creatures today?

"Um, Lee? Is that a griffon?

"Yup," he said not-so cheerfully.

"Is it dangerous?" The griffin gawked unfriendly-like.

"Yep,"

"Then should we run away?" They said the final question as the creature looked like it was wanting to go very close to their flesh with its beak.

"YUP!"

Ah, so this is what their mother meant when it will only bring danger.

And at that, Aion turned around hurriedly and ran in the direction of where they came, while Lee said something to his Pegasus for it to follow him.

"Lee, come this way!" Aion shouted in between their panting. For them who've never run this much before on their floor, their stamina was concerningly somewhat on par with Lee's, who seemed to be an expert at running away from man-eating Half-bird half-mammal hybrids.

After a couple of tiring seconds of running, they finally reached the playground. The griffin seemed to sense the amount of people and retreated somewhere along the chase. However, Aion didn't have time to celebrate, they were met with a empty playground unless they counted the raging woman and her father trying to calm her with bodyguards, certainly all trying to find Aion, surrounding the pair of father and daughter.

Aion felt themselves filled with dread, fearing what their punishment would be when Angelica noticed their return.

But luckily, Lee stopped them from worrying for a moment. "Um, Aion, is that your mother?"

They could guess why Lee suddenly became concerned; Aion's mother was quite literally destroying parts of the playground, the swing that Aion once sat was already detected from its support system. They also noticed the bodyguard that Aion convinced to not do his job nowhere to be seen. If they guessed right, the unfortunate man should be in a hospital by now.

"Yes, " Aion said grimly. "That is my mother."

They stepped forward for a few meters for them to be seen by the bodyguards, and most importantly, their mother. Aion watched silently as Angelica suddenly stopped her destruction.

The cause? The sight of her child

"Aion!!" She yelled, while running towards them.

The child in yelling widened their eyes. That was the first time she had ever said their proper name.

"Oh, Ai, my dear, dear Ai...where did you go? Mama was so worried…"

Oh, she stopped calling them by their name.

She didn't seem to have noticed the boy next to her child as Lee shifted uncomfortably.

Aion resisted coughing at the tight embrace. They tried to hug her back, but Angelica just took it as an attempt to pull away as she hugged tighter.

"Sweetheart, " their grandfather probably said, as Aion couldn't see. "Your so–daughter can't breathe."

"Hm," she simply hummed, letting her child go reluctantly.

Aion averted their eyes away to not meet their mother's. "Mama, I was just with my new friend, playing with his pony."

Angelica narrowed her eyes at Lee, then quickly looked back at her child, already forgetting the extra boy.

The child's impossibly colored eyes widened when they saw a raise of their mother's hand. Then, Aion shut them close, preparing themself for the knowing impact.

But, surprisingly, nothing hit.

Aion opened one eye to see what happened.

Oh.

The hand that was supposed to hit Aion's body was near their new friend's. Lee glared sharply at Angelica, his cheek red, swollen, and a stroke of blood bleeding out from a bad but small scratch.

"How were you almost about to hit them?!"

Them.

Aion stared at their friend in awe. But sadly, their amazement only lasted for a moment.

Angelica's face flushed with anger. "What are you doing?! Who are you?!"

"Sweetheart, " Ciro warned. "But boy, truly, who are you?"

"Well, at least I'm someone who doesn't hit kids just for having a friend!"

Oh no. "Lee," Aion said anxiously. "It's alright. "

Lee snapped his head to them. "It's alright?! What are you talking about she—"

"Huh? Oh. Poor boy, why are you hurt?"

Lee stared in surprise at the sudden contrast of tone that came out of the woman. Angelica touched the wound on the boy's cheek. Lee winced. "Does this hurt? I'm sorry, Papi, could you bring him to the hospital?"she turned to Ciro, letting go her hand from Lee's cheek.

Aion's grandfather softened. "Of course, my dear."

"Ai, C'here," Angelica waved her hand inwards and Aion went near. She touched her child's cheek, cupping them in her hands. "Are you hurt?" Aion tried to shake their head to only result in a small jerk. Angelica smiled. "Good," she let go.

Angelica looked around, seeing the horse, the wrecked playground, and restless bodyguards. "Did something happen while you were playing with your friends, Ai?"

Aion opened their mouth to answer, but is beaten by their grandfather.

"Nothing happened, darling." He smiled reassuringly.

For some reason, Angelica seemed completely convinced. She nodded. "Alright. Ai, we shall bring your friend to the hospital."

Aion looked at Lee's wound, then at the Pegasus. "But what about his horse?"

"Oh no, you don't have to!" Lee shook his head while waving both of his hands. "I heal really, like really fast. It's fine, see?"

It seemed that his words were true; the scratch was already beginning to heal. The wound closed and the swelling lightened.

"Oh, alright then. Lee, will you visit my grandchild sometimes?"

"Sure!" He said a bit too soon, as he quickly corrected himself. "I mean, yeah. Just give me an address and I'll be there."

Angelica smiled. "How nice! Ai never had friends before,"

That was because she never let Aion have them.

Before her father could say anything, she grabbed a notepad that was somehow already ready in assistants hand. She wrote something then ripped a page off. "Here, please do visit him sometime. '' she grabbed Aion's hand, taking them away, and they winced at the strength of her grip.

Aion tried to turn their head to look glance back at Lee. They mouthed, please visit.

"Lee, you found a child that you're completely sure is a demigod and that their mother is hurting them?" Chiron repeated.

"Mhmm," He nodded. "There was a griffon and it tried to eat them too, so yeah, I'm pretty sure that they're a demigod. And they really reminded me of Aphrodite kids...but they had a mortal mother."

Dionysus scoffed. "Boy, if Aphrodite wanted to have a baby with a woman, then she would get one. Don't just assume, Kim flincher."

"Err, yes" Chiron said awkwardly, not bothering to correct the god's lame attempt at his students name. "But anyways, do you want to bring them to camp, Lee?"

The child of Apollo nodded again. "Obviously, i can just leave them alone for monsters to prey."

"And do you have their address?" Chiron asked, ignoring the "Great, more brats." from the wine god.

"Yep," he grabbed the paper from his pocket and gave them to Chiron.

The centaur read the address out loud, "the De Rosè main building at Street XXXX in XXX?" He looked at Lee. "What was the demigod's name again, Lee?"

"Hm? Oh, Aion De Rosè, Why?" Lee leaned forward.

"De Rosè is a famous family for being one of the top 50 richest families in the world, Lee."

"Oooh." The child of Apollo gaped. "That's why they had so many bodyguards. "

Chiron sighed as the god spoke, "Aion? Why That's an old name."

The centaur and demigod turned to look at Mr. D in bewilderment. "Mr. D, did you just say someone's name correctly?"

"Bah," Dionysus scoffed. "What nonsense are you spouting off, stitcher."

Chiron met Lee's eyes, and shrugged.
