The next morning, Rosita wakes up early to train, but she finds Odette's bed empty. She searches the halls frantically, fearing that she would bump into Madame Marie. She peeks inside a door and hears voices. She sees Odette and Madame Marie, Marie demonstrating a move to Odette and adjusting her stance and movements. Soon Odette could do the move as masterfully as Marie had demonstrated. Odette beamed and curtsied to Marie. Rosita felt a hand touch her shoulder, and she stifled a scream. She turned around and saw Louis, who shushed her. They turned back to watch Odette dance. She was in a relaxed, flowing white skirt with a pink blouse. Her long locks were flowing down her back. She wore a pair of pink ballet slippers.

Madame Marie told her that class would begin soon. Louis and Rosita rushed back to their rooms to get ready. Odette went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror. She braided and pinned her long hair into a bun. Soon she entered the classroom once again and found Rosita and Regine there. Regine was glaring at Rosita. "You have to be the clumsiest dancer I've ever seen, always tripping over your feet.". Regine sneered at Rosita. Odette bounded over to them and took Rosita aside. "Don't pay any attention to her." Odette told her. Soon Marie entered the classroom and conducted classes as usual. "Now, ladies, at the end of this month, we will be entertaining some very special guests. We will also be performing with Monsieur Petipa's class." The girls began excited chatter while Marie pulled Odette aside. "Now, Odette darling, I have a favor to ask of you. I have written a special dance sequence for you and the Merante boy. Would you be willing to practice and perform it at the end of this month?" It was rather short notice. Odette said, "If Louis is willing to do it; then I am as well." So, every day after class, Louis, Odette, Marie, and Lucien would meet and practice La Papillon.

One day Rosita bounds up to Odette and asks her, "Would you please train me?" Odette looks completely flabbergasted. Rosita continues, "You're such an amazing dancer, just please show me a few steps?" Odette agrees, so each morning, she teaches Rosita who adjusts her movements and soon Madame Marie notes that Rosita has improved.

As Louis and Odette train, they begin to form a strong bond. Odette found Louis to be charming, funny, and worldly. Louis found Odette to be a complex woman, the delicate dancer she portrayed, and a strong-willed woman who went through an amazing training regiment, a woman who had an extensive passion for the arts that went beyond dancing. Her other talents include piano and ice skating. (She also has a sweet soprano voice but is too shy to sing in front of a crowd.) Soon the two became inseparable, Marie and Lucien were worried it would interfere with their performance, but it only made their performances stronger.

One day before practice, Regine got so frustrated and mad at Odette, she walked behind Odette and dumped the entire contents of her breakfast on top of Odette's head. Everyone in the cafeteria stared, shocked. Odette ran out, and Louis immediately followed her. He found her crying in the bathrooms. He cautiously went inside and was relieved no other female was present. He slowly brushed the spaghetti off her shoulders. Her periwinkle blouse was stained with sauce. There was spaghetti and sauce in her hair and on her clothes.

Louis thought of an idea and was immediately ashamed of himself. He sensed Odette was thinking the same thing because she was taking off her soiled outfit and put it in the sink to soak. Louis, without hesitation, took his clothes off, and led her to a shower, and closed the door. They would never speak of this to anyone. Louis made sure the door was locked and even placed a curtain over the door. Odette rinsed her body and hair off while Louis had taken the shampoo from her and began massaging it into her scalp and running his fingers down her long hair, brushing the tips of his fingers against the entirety of her back and ending at her hips. Odette's back arched slightly, and she let out a small whimper and closed her eyes. Louis wore an amused smirk on his face. As soon as Odette's hair was washed, he began washing her body, her graceful, petite, slightly curvy body. He began kissing her neck. Her eyes almost rolled into the back of her head, and he had to wrap his arms around her to hold her up. They explored each other's bodies.

Soon they heard someone come in. Louis stayed quiet. "Odette, are you in here?" It was Rosita. "Yes, Rosita. I'm just getting myself cleaned up. I will be out in a minute. Could you please bring my clothes to the laundry and get me new ones?" Odette said, and Rosita soon affirmed and left. Odette got out of the shower first and went over to lock the door so no one would interrupt when Louis was getting dressed. They both dried off and proceeded to get dressed, Odette in clean clothes Rosita had grabbed. Odette now wore a floral lavender dress and white stockings. Louis put on his same clothes as they were not soiled. Odette smiled and brushed out her long locks. Louis came over and began to kiss up the column of her graceful swanlike neck. A whimper escaped Odette's mouth, and Louis chuckled. "Well, my dear, I believe I should leave you if you are alright now, that is?" Odette smiled and nodded; she already missed the feel of his fingers on her body. "Thank you." She whispered. He snuck out of the bathroom and went down to his room unseen. Odette soon left the bathroom and went to her room, where Rosita was waiting, with a big smirk on her face.
