Welcome to the second chapter of Spectrum Hero! In this chapter we see what life has been like for Izuku and for Katsumi as well. And maybe we will see how things are going for him in UA as an early student. Enjoy!

Chapter 2: Getting Ready for UA
(UA High/Two Weeks Later)
Izuku was running for his life. The reason why he was running was because one of the teachers was chasing him down. While the teacher wasn't going to hurt him, not much at least, Ryo Inu aka Hound Dog had to help get the boy more stamina fast. Izuku had been doing this for the past two weeks along with cleaning up Dagobah beach with All Might. Izuku would work with which ever hero was available for the day and today was Hound Dog.
"Grr! Move faster kid! I'm catching up with you!" yelled Ryo.
Izuku's body then glowed bright indigo as his eyes turned indigo as well and ran a bit faster trying to out pace the dog hero. The Indigo power of his Spectrum quirk allowed Izuku to not only keep him calm, as well as others, but it also boosts his physical abilities. While it wasn't much right now since he was still getting used to it, the power does allow Izuku, who barely trained a day in his life, to out run Ryo. For a time anyways.
Ryo smiled under his mask. "Not bad kid! You're getting better! However." He then jumped up and bounded off the walls and kicks Izuku in his side and sends the boy to the ground. "You still need get faster."
Izuku rolled to his back and groaned. "I know. My ribs can only take so many kicks."
Ryo chuckles. "Don't give me that. I know that Violet can heal you just as well as Recovery Girl. Now use that power and lets go again."
Izuku groaned again but did as asked. As Izuku takes off, hoping that it would give him a chance of not getting a beating from Hound Dog, a group of people are watching him from up in a booth.
"Not bad. He is quick on his feet I will give the kid that much." Said Sorahiko Torino aka Gran Torino. He was called in by Chiyo since she knew that Toshinori wouldn't, and she knows that the man couldn't teach a fish how to swim.
"He might be. But he is far from being worthy of inheriting One For All." Said Mirai Sasaki aka Sir Nighteye. He heard that Toshinori wanted to give OFA to someone other then Mirio Togata and wanted to see the one that his former partner chose. So far, he wasn't impressed.
"Go easy on him Mirai. Yes, Young Midoriya is not as strong or as fast as young Togata but remember that Midoriya's quirk finally activated just two weeks ago. He is seriously behind everyone else his age." Said Toshinori.
"True. But look at him now. Only two weeks and he can avoid Inu for over twenty minutes. On the first day he lasted twenty seconds. A good improvement on Young Midoriya's part." Said Nezu.
Mirai gave them that. For someone that only just got their quirk that was an impressive achievement. Mirai went back to watch as Izuku made a wall of green light that blocked Ryo for a moment and dashed away from the dog hero. Izuku then made a green boxing glove and threw it at the hero which connected and sent the dog hero into the wall. But Izuku's victory was short lived as Ryo shot out of the wall and kicked Izuku in the back of the head which knocked him out.
Sorahiko chuckled. "Reminds you of our training, doesn't it Toshinori?" he asked with a grin on his face. Toshinori however shakes in fear of the memories that filled his mind of those days with Torino.
Nezu chuckles at Toshinori's plight while Mirai can only sigh. The group looked back as Ryo picked Izuku up to take the boy to Chiyo to get healed before training could resume.
Mirai adjusted his glasses before speaking. "Still, what is it that you see in Midoriya, Toshinori? What makes him your choice for OFA?"
Toshinori smiled. "Midoriya is in a sense like me. He and I had to go thru most of our childhood being looked down on by those with quirks. While I had met with Nana, Midoriya only had his mother and his best friend. And even with all the anger and hatred pointed at him, Midoriya didn't give up on wanting to be a hero. He hid the bullying from his mother to not worry her since the woman had given much for him already. He even told me why he didn't out Young Bakugo for all that he did to him."
"And what was the reason Toshinori?" asked Sorahiko.
Toshinori smiled even wider. "He said that he believed that Bakugo could change his ways and be a hero in time. Midoriya sees the best in people that most would ignore. While I do believe that Bakugo shouldn't be a hero with the attitude that he has, I agree with Midoriya in seeing the best of people who want to change."
Nezu smiled at hearing this as did Sorahiko. Mirai was uncertain about Midoriya gaining OFA but he does admit that he has a slight chance of making the cut for it.
"While that does paint a good picture for Midoriya, I still believe that Mirio is the better choice. But we will see if Midoriya can make the cut." Said Mirai.
Toshinori sighs since his former sidekick still pushes for Mirio to be his successor. Sorahiko only rolls his eyes at Mirai. While he might think that Toshinori is a bit short sighted, it is ultimately his choice in who to pass OFA on to. Sorahiko didn't complain when Nana passed OFA to Toshinori years ago since it wasn't his place to do so, Mirai however doesn't see that.
(With Izuku/Hour Later)
Izuku was now in an empty gym with him in a meditation position. He was trying to combine the powers of the different lights but wasn't having much luck. Case in point, Izuku was sent into a far wall from a mini-explosion from his fingers.
"Gah!" yelled Izuku as he was sent into the wall. He then slides down from the wall with a groan. "Oh. That is going to hurt in the morning and the day after."
Just then Izuku hears two people, one was laughing while the other was giggling. Izuku looked to see three people however and they were walking over to him. The first was a teen with blonde hair and blue eyes with a simple face. The second teen had indigo hair as well as same-colored eyes and pointed ears like an elf, but the teen wasn't making eye contact with Izuku. The last teen was a girl with periwinkle hair and eyes, a mature figure and was bouncing towards Izuku with a cute smile on her face.
"Nee, nee. That looked like it hurt. Are you okay?" asked the girl.
Izuku picked himself up and popped his back. "I'll be fine. Just give me a second." Izuku then glowed violet and his wounds healed, and his pain went away.
"Cool! How did you do that?! What is your quirk? Are you like Recovery Girl? Can you do other things? Are those freckles on your face?" asked the girl with stars in her eyes as she talked at hyper speed.
Izuku had to back up from the girl since she was invading his personal space and was blushing like mad since the girl was so damn cute. Luckily for Izuku, the blonde teen pulled the girl back.
"Easy Nejire. Give the rookie some space. I'm sure that he will answer your questions if you give him time to answer." Said the blonde teen.
"Hehe. Sorry Mirio. But that was so cool I couldn't resist." Said Nejire.
"It's fine." Said Mirio. The boy then turned to Izuku and smiled. "So who are you? What class are you in?"
"I'm not in any class. At least not yet. My name is Izuku Midoriya, it's nice to meet you." Said Izuku as he held out his hand.
Mirio smiles and shook the boys hand. "Names Mirio Togata. The girl next to me is Nejire Hado and the gloomy boy over in the corner is Tamaki Amajiki."
"Hi!" said Nejire as she practical vibrated in place at meeting Izuku.
"Hello." Said Tamaki as he stood in a corner and not looking at Izuku.
Izuku looked to Tamaki with a raised eyebrow. "Is he okay?"
"Oh he's fine. He's just shy and doesn't like meeting new people. So, if you're not in any class, then why are you here at UA?" asked Mirio.
Izuku looked down at the ground. "I am here due to what my middle school has done. I'm a late bloomer with my quirk only getting it two weeks ago. The school saw me as a burden and a quirkless waste. Principal Nezu offered me a chance to learn from the heroes here at UA to help with my late blooming quirk. He told me that the training that I would get here wouldn't equal to the training that I would get as a student, but it would let me be ready for the entrance exams in a few months."
Mirio frowned when he heard that. He didn't like that a person was being punished for something that was out of his control. Tamaki looked shocked in his corner and was muttering that he was glad that he wasn't in that school since they would most likely do the same thing to him. Nejire however brought Izuku into a hug as she let out a few tears for the green haired teen. Izuku however was blushing like mad since his head was in her breasts.
"You poor boy! Don't worry! Big sis Nejire will help you!" said Nejire as she petted Izuku's head and held the boy close to her.
Mirio began laughing at Izuku's predicament while Tamaki was muttering that he was glad that it was happening to Izuku. Izuku now had swirls in his eyes and was losing blood to the other parts of his body.
"I think you should let him go Nejire. Or he won't be able to last much longer." Said Mirio.
Nejire saw that Izuku was turning purple due to all the blood in his head and the lack of air. Nejire let Izuku go, and he began to breathe again.
"Sorry Izu-kun. Didn't mean to do that to you." Said Nejire.
"It's-it's okay." Said Izuku. He then got his regular face color back after a few minutes.
"So what are you doing over here? Most only use this place to practice their ultimate moves." Said Mirio.
"That is why I was sent to this place. The first years aren't going to be using this place for another month and the other classes are working at the USJ for the next few days. As to why I am here, I was trying to figure out how to use the multiple parts of my quirk together." Said Izuku.
"Multiple parts?" asked Mirio.
"Yeah." Said Izuku. He then showed the older teens his fingers and they saw the multiple colors on them. "My quirk is called Emotional Spectrum or Spectrum for short. My quirk lets me have access to my emotions in the form of light with different abilities. Like with Violet, I can heal myself and others like Recovery Girl only without using my stamina or with the healing persons stamina."
"Cool! So what about the other colors? What can they do?" asked Nejire.
"Honestly, I'm not sure. Violet and Indigo are the only ones that I have an idea of what they do. My quirk is also sentient in a sense. In my head are the aspects of my emotions and they are helping me to understand my quirk. But right now they only want me to work with violet and indigo for now. I was hoping that I could combine the two and if I did I could be useful in a situation where people are panicking and injured, and I could not only calm everyone down but heal them at the same time." Said Izuku.
"An interesting idea Midoriya! And a useful skill if you get it right! It will come in handy when a major villain attack happens and there are many people injured that need help. But I would take your training a bit slower. Take it from someone that knows where you're coming from. I was actually in the general course my first year here at UA. I had to work hard to get into the hero course, but I did. However there were times that I took it to far and over did it in my training. My advice is take it one day at a time. You don't have to go full throttle all day every day. If you do that, you'll just burn out before you can get any results." Said Mirio.
Izuku looked into the older teens eyes and saw the wisdom in those words. He nods his head and smiles at the teen which Mirio smiles back. Izuku then asked the three about their quirks and he was delighted that they answered him with smiles on their faces. Well, Mirio and Nejire had smiles, Tamaki was still in the corner not looking at Izuku.
(UA Infirmary)
Chiyo had a smile on her face as she sat in her chair. The reason for the smile was due to her finally having an assistant after years of asking for one. Inko smiled as she helped a student to their feet and out the door. Inko was hired as an assistant for Chiyo due to her own background as a nurse in the nearby hospital. To be honest, Inko was happy to have this job. She would constantly get looks of pity or glares from the people that she would work with at the hospital due to Izuku's supposed quirklessness. But here at UA she got none of that and was treated like a normal person as was her son.
Just then Nezu, Toshinori, Sorahiko and Mirai step into the room.
"Hello gentlemen. What can I do for you?" asked Chiyo.
"Just came in to see how you are doing with your new assistant. How's the job miss Midoriya?" asked Nezu.
"Its great Principal Nezu. But I can see why she needs some help. The poor girl from before had a broken arm and a twisted leg." Said Inko.
The group chuckled at that with weak smiles on their faces since Chiyo was glaring at them.
"Yes." Said Toshinori. "But with you helping her she won't complain as much." He was then hit on the head by a syringe cane..
"Don't count on it! Knowing you and the way that you teach, all of your students will be here on the first day of classes!" yelled Chiyo.
"Which is why Torino will be acting as a teaching aid for Toshinori to make sure that doesn't happen." Said Nezu.
"Don't worry. I'll keep an eye on the brats." Said Sorahiko as he glared at Toshinori. "ALL of them."
Toshinori shivers in fright while Inko giggles at seeing the number one hero act so afraid of an old man. She then stopped her giggling and looked to Toshinori with a bit of worry in her eyes.
"Um Mister Yagi. What will happen to Izuku when he receives One For All? Will the transfer hurt him?" asked Inko.
"No it won't. Young Midoriya will have to ingest a bit of my DNA to get One For All but the transfer process will not hurt." Toshinori assured the concerned mother.
Inko sighed in relief at that. "So when are you planning to pass it on to him?"
"Not for some time. Don't get me wrong, I do believe that he is worthy of the quirk. The problem is that his body is not ready for it." Said Toshinori.
"As Midoriya is right now should he receive One For All now it will only result in his limbs exploding from the power that he would get." Said Sorahiko.
Inko went pale at the image of Izuku exploding from the quirk. She sat down to calm herself from that image. She took a deep breath and looked back up.
"Is that why you have him training his body along with his quirk?" asked Inko.
"Indeed." Said Toshinori. "One For All is a multiplier at its base. That is why we are having young Midoriya work to get his body ready to receive the quirk as well as his quirk. Young Midoriya's quirk is powerful and if we are not careful One For All could push Midoriya's quirk to a level that he would not be able to control."
Inko nods her head when she heard that.
"Don't worry Inko. I looked over his body a few days ago and other then a slightly unaverage body right now, he is in perfect health. I believe that by the last few weeks of the ten-month plan Midoriya will be ready to receive One For All safely. And we will be here to help him should anything go wrong." Said Chiyo with a smile which was mimicked by the others.
Inko smiled at the group in front of her. She was so happy that these people were doing so much to help her son and her as well. After years of not having many friends other than the Bakugo family, aside from Katsuki, this was a nice change of pace.
Chiyo then coughed into her hand. "Speaking of Midoriya, why don't you go find him and have some lunch. It is around that time and if your son is anything like the blonde-haired oaf here then he will most likely want to try and train the day away without eating."
Toshinori slumped his shoulders while the other chuckled at the hero. Inko giggles at the man as she walks out of the room to find her son and make sure that he eats something.
After the mother went off to see her son, the others looked to Chiyo. "So, what is it that you wanted to speak with us?" asked Nezu since he suspected that doctor wanted to talk without Inko in the room.
Chiyo sighed. "When I did the exam on Midoriya's body a few days ago I found many scars and cuts on his body. A few of them are as old as a decade." She then handed a file on Izuku to Nezu which the chimera began to read as well as the others.
"This is disgusting. How did this go on for so long? Why didn't anyone put a stop to it?" asked Sorahiko.
"Most likely they didn't care. They just saw a quirkless child and thought that he was a waste of space along with his mother that didn't want to abandon him." Said Mirai who was equally shocked and appalled.
"Agreed. This had gone for far too long. If what both Midoriya's have said then it wasn't just Bakugo that did this to young Midoriya." Said Nezu.
"True. But he was the main person behind Midoriya's problems. Hopefully, the rehabilitation center will be able to fix him to being a better human being." Said Toshinori.
"There is something else." Said Chiyo. The others looked to the old woman and they could swear that she looked a decade older with what she was about to say. "Midoriya has a permanent scar on his body that will never be able to heal, even with mine or his quirk. It's over his heart and from the looks of it, Midoriya got it when he was six."
The adults were shocked to here that a young man who is not even a hero yet has a scar that would remain with him for the rest of his life.
"What caused the scar?" asked Nezu.
"Sigh, from my reading, it was the result of a third degree burn from a fire that lasted for several minutes." Said Chiyo.
The adults went pale when they heard that. Toshinori felt a pain in his wound at that moment and a buzz in his head that felt like a number of voices were shouting all at once that he believed was the vestiges of One For All.
"Did you ask either Midoriya what happened or who caused it?" asked Sorahiko.
Chiyo shivered at that. "I did. Young Midoriya said that the person didn't matter and asked to drop it. Inko however gained a dark look in her eyes at the question, and she let out killing intent that almost gave me a heart attack. After she calmed down she apologized and said that the person who burned Midoriya was someone that she didn't want to talk about."
The heroes became worried with the Midoriya's. Who was this person that both of them wouldn't speak about them?
"But I do have an idea of who gave Midoriya the burn." Said Chiyo who then typed into her computer and pulled up a file that showed Inko and Izuku along with a man with black hair and had a similarity to Izuku and that of a little girl with mostly black hair mixed with green that looked like a younger Inko. Chiyo pulled up a picture of the man and showed it to the heroes.
"This man is Hisashi Shinka, Izuku's father. His quirk is called flame breath. Inko divorced him years ago after Izuku turned six and he left with their daughter Izumi Midoriya and have been living in the states since." Said Chiyo.
"So, the boy's father used his flame breath quirk on him and got that burn. That would explain why they would act the way that they did. One was out of anger that his own father set him on fire and the other is out of motherly instincts to protect her son. Is there any way to prove this to the authorities?" asked Mirai.
"I'm afraid that it would be difficult. Not only is Shinka in the states but this attack was years ago and with few witnesses. And even if there were others, I doubt they would help either Midoriya." Said Nezu.
"I hate that we can do nothing to help them with this. There must be something that we can do." Said Toshinori.
"Unless Shinka returns to Japan there is little that we can do for now. But make no mistake, should he return, we will get answers out of him. Of that I promise." Said Nezu with his tail straight up in anger.
The other heroes nod their heads at the chimera. Such a person will not get away unpunished for their crimes. They would just have to wait until they could get to him. Toshinori made a promise to help both Midoriya's to allow them to move on from that dark day. What Toshinori didn't know was that the vestiges, most of them anyways, made the same promise while one in particular was going to put in as much work as they could to help Izuku once he obtained One For All.
(UA High/One Month before Entrance Exams)
Nezu was walking thru his school with four students following him. These four are the recommendation students for this year that were able to get into UA either thru academics or due to combat capabilities. Of them are Momo Yaoyorozu, Shoto Todoroki, Setsuna Tokage and Juzo Honenuki.
"I welcome each of you to my school. I am glad to have each of you here." Said Nezu as showed the new students around.
"It's an honor Principal Nezu." Said Momo.
"Yeah this is so cool! I can't wait till the classes start." Said Setsuna.
"This is almost like a dream come true." Said Juzo.
Shoto was silent as he followed the others.
Nezu chuckled. "Yes I can see why you would think that Young Honenuki. But this is no dream. Each of you have made it into UA thanks to your own skills and abilities. Now please keep up, we are almost to gym gamma."
As the students continued to follow the chimera when they heard the sounds of explosions coming from the gym.
"Is someone using the gym right now? Are we going to see some third-year students at work?" asked Juzo.
"Not quite." Said Nezu with a grin.
The five made it to the gym to find a green haired teen fighting against a mob of robots. He was using a quirk unlike what any of them have seen. Objects made of green light was being shot at the robots while the boy had a shield of indigo light around him to protect himself from projectiles. Just then a group of robots had rushed towards the teen without him noticing. Momo and Setsuna shouted out to him to move while Juzo was about to run in to help while Shoto noticed that the boy wasn't fazed and was smirking a bit. Just then a barrage of guns made of violet light shot at the robots without the boy looking behind him destroying them with ease.
Both Momo and Juzo were surprised by what they had just seen but were instantly impressed with the boy's skill. Shoto raised an eyebrow at what the teen had done but really wasn't impressed. The teen must have been training for years to do something like that. Setsuna however was smiling like mad at seeing the same-colored teen blast the robots.
"That was awesome! How did that guy do that?!" asked Setsuna.
"Practice and training Tokage. He has improved greatly since he came here only nine months ago." Said Nezu.
"Cool. What year is he in?" asked Juzo.
"Oh, he isn't in UA yet. He will be heading into the first-year hero course. That is after he passes the entrance exams in a month." Said Nezu.
"He isn't? Then why is he here at UA?" Asked Momo.
"About nine months ago, we became aware of that young man's unique situation." Said Nezu.
"What kind of situation?" asked Shoto.
"He is a late bloomer with his quirk. His quirk didn't awaken until he was attacked by a villain to defend himself. I then learned that his pervious school was detrimental to him." Said Nezu who growled a bit.
"What do you mean sir?" asked Juzo.
"And what do you mean that he was a late bloomer? Most late bloomers get their quirks at five or six. Not ten years later." Said Momo.
"Unfortunately, Young Midoriya was unlucky in that regard. As to what I mean by his former school, it seems that the entire school, except for one that is, was bullying Midoriya for his supposed quirklessness. It was so bad that he was beaten almost daily." Said Nezu.
Momo and Setsuna gasped in shock and horror when they heard that. Juzo growled when he heard that an entire school was attacking a single person for some stupid reason. Shoto was surprised to hear that there was someone else that went thru hell. While his hell was at home, it was only with one person, not an entire school like with Midoriya. He was also impressed that Midoriya had gotten so good with his quirk in only nine months.
They then see that Midoriya was wiping away sweat from his face with a towel. Izuku then noticed Nezu and the students near him. Izuku smiled and walked over to them.
"Hello sir. Are these the recommendation students?" asked Izuku.
"That's right Midoriya. Meet Momo Yaoyorozu, Setsuna Tokage, Juzo Honenuki and Shoto Todoroki." Said Nezu.
Izuku bowed to the four with a smile. "Nice to meet you. My name is Izuku Midoriya."
Momo, Juzo and Setsuna greeted the green haired teen with smiles on their faces. Shoto looked on from afar as he watched Izuku with a calculating look in his eyes. As Izuku talked with the three, Nezu smiles as he watches Izuku make some new friends.
(With Katsumi)
Katsumi was walking home with burn marks on her clothes and a scowl on her face after wiping some blood off her lip. She had just gotten out of a major brawl with some former students from her school. Ever since her brother was sent off to a rehabilitation center things had begun to change at Aldera Middle school. Once Katsuki was sent away, Pro Heroes and the Police began to do a thorough investigation in everything that happened in the school. The principal, most of the teachers and numerous students were either arrested, fired, or had so much black added to their records that they would need to leave Japan to have a slight chance at starting over.
The students that attacked Katsumi however were among those that would never get that chance and blamed her for everything that is happening to them. She was able to beat them all back without using her quirk since she has a quirk tracker on her that will go off if she uses her quirk again. It will be removed in a few weeks, just in time for the entrance exams.
"God Damn fuckers. Instead of placing the blame on themselves they blame me and Izuku instead. Idiots. It was their own faults in the first place since they were the ones that bullied Izuku." Said Katsumi as she walked towards her home.
She was grateful that the new teachers at Aldera Middle school are letting her take a test to graduate early. All that she needs to do is pass the test tomorrow and she will be out of that school for good. Once she did Katsumi wouldn't need to deal with those idiots anymore.
As Katsumi walked she took out a necklace from around her neck. She opened the necklace to see an old picture of her and Izuku from when they were four. Katsumi smiled at the picture as an old memory enters her head.
"This is for you Kacchan! I hope that you like it. No matter what we will always be friends till the end!" said young Izuku.
"Till the end." Chuckled Katsumi with a tear in her eye. She remembers that Izuku got this for her two days before he was diagnosed as quirkless. She then remembers when Katsuki told the entire class that Izuku was quirkless and the aftermath of that reveal.
"Hey everyone! Deku is quirkless!" yelled Katsuki.
"What?! Quirkless?! Then he is a freak!"
"A weirdo!"
"Loser!"
"Shut up! Izuku isn't a freak or a loser! He is my friend, and I won't let you make fun of him!" yelled Katsumi.
"Now, now Katsumi. There is no need to defend Midoriya. He will just drag you down." Said the teacher.
"He will never drag me down! Izuku is my friend!" yelled Katsumi.
Katsumi growled at that memory since the teacher had decided to remove her from the classroom to make sure that she was never near Izuku again. It got worse as the years went by as the teachers had purposely put Izuku in the same classes as Katsuki yet made sure that she was never in any of his. The only time that the two could hang out was during lunch. And even then, her groupies would try to stop the two from having lunch together.
"I failed to protect him. I failed at being his friend. I should have done more for him years ago and now I haven't seen him in months. Damn you Katsuki. Even when you aren't here, you still cause nothing but pain for me and Izuku don't you?" asked Katsumi as she finally made it to her home.
When Katsumi walked in to the apartment, she found her mother on the couch sleeping with a photo book in her hands. Katsumi sighed since Mitsuki would do this whenever she was down. Mitsuki would look thru the photo book and remember the good times with Inko and also tried to figure out where she went wrong with Katsuki. Katsumi walked over to her mother and placed a blanket over her mom to keep her warm and then made it to her room.
Katsumi then took out a notebook and began to write in it. The book was notes of her quirk, theories about how to get it stronger and ideas on her costume. Normally she would ask Izuku for help on this since he is a genius with quirks, but now she was on her own on this. She knew that she had to do this on her own and when she sees Izuku again she would keep the promise that she made years ago.
"I won't fail again. I know that you have a quirk now Izuku, I may not know how strong it is but that doesn't matter. I will stand by your side, thru thick and thin. Till the end." Said Katsumi as she went to work on her designs of her costume that she and Izuku would be proud of.
(Dagobah Beach/A Month Later/One Week Before the Entrance Exams)
Izuku was standing in front of All Might with a smile on his face that was mimicked on All Might. For today was the day. Today was the day that Izuku would get the quirk One For All. Izuku found out that Mirai wanted Mirio to gain One For All instead but the blond teen rejected the quirk saying that he wanted to be his own hero and not a clone of All Might. Mirai was upset but he relented since it was ultimately Mirio's choice. And while Mirai thinks that there could be others out there that would be a better choice, he does admit that Izuku has a great deal of potential to be a hero and a bearer of One For All.
So here stands a student and his master, with the master ready to pass on his power to the future.
"You have come a long way Young Midoriya. And I know that you will go even farther." Said Toshinori.
"Thanks Toshinori-sensei. I still have a long road ahead of me. But I will meet it head on, with a smile on my face." said Izuku.
Toshinori chuckled at the boy in front of him. If Toshinori would be honest, Izuku was like the son that he never had. He is proud of Izuku and knows that Izuku will go even further then he could. Toshinori bulks up to his muscle form and grabs a piece of his hair off his head.
"I want you to remember something very important Young Midoriya. The power that you are about to receive is something that you earned. There's a difference between having power because you were lucky and because you were recognized. Never get the two confused." Said All Might.
Izuku had a few tears in his eyes when he heard that. He smiled brightly at his idol and teacher.
"I won't forget it All Might. I promise." Said Izuku.
"Good! Now, Eat this!" said All Might who presented his hair to Izuku.
"Huh?" was the response from Izuku.
"As weird as it sounds. You need to eat a piece of my DNA to transfer OFA into you. This just happens to be the best way to do it." Said All Might.
"Ah. Now I understand. Still weird thou." Said Izuku. He took All Might's hair and ate it. He washed it down with a bottle of water and finally got it down his throat.
"So what now?" asked Izuku.
All Might returns to normal and sits on the beach. "For now we wait. It will take a few hours for OFA to be absorbed into your body. And once that happens we will test to see how much power you have with it."
"Okay." Said Izuku.
The two sat on the beach and watched the waves as they crashed on the clean beach. Izuku had worked hard to clean up Dagobah beach under All Might's guidance. It had been difficult but so was all the other training that he had under the teachers of UA.
As Izuku and Toshinori waited for One For All to fuse within Izuku, something else was happening within the teen. Izuku suddenly fell onto the beach unconscious with Toshinori becoming worried for Izuku and took him back to UA to get checked over, unaware of what was happening within his successor.

The nine aspects of Izuku's quirk looked up into the black sky that was Izuku's mind. Each of the aspects looked just like Izuku only that their hair color and their eyes were of the colors that they represented. From the blackness came a bright green colored star that shined away the darkness that resided within him. The nine aspects smiled when they saw the star, for they knew what it represented. One For All had finally come.
"Gentlemen. It is time." Said White.
The others nod their heads and each one turn into beams of light and shot towards the bright star and began to orbit the star like nine colored comets. After spinning around the star five times, eight of the nine colors enter the star leaving only white orbiting the star of One For All.
When the eight other lights enter the star they find the vestiges of the previous One For All users who were surprised to see Midoriya's quirk enter One For All. Before the vestiges could wonder what the quirk was doing, the eight lights went to the previous users and merged with their forms.
Nana Shimura merged with the Violet Light which her costume gained a violet coloring with armor over her chest, arms and legs with a sigil over her chest with the power super charging her power.
En the sixth user merged with the Yellow Light and just like Nana had armor cover his costume and super charge his energy with a different sigil over his chest..
Daigoro Banjo merged with the Black Light and felt his quirk Black Whip grow in strength and gained armor like the others with a ripped cloak erupt from his back and like the others now has a sigil over his chest.
Hikage Shinomori merged with the Indigo Light and felt his own power expand as the armor coats his body and gains a staff in his right hand made of violet light and a sigil over his chest.
The third and second users were infused with the powers of the Orange Light and the Red Light respectively. The power coursing thru their spectral bodies. They too had sigils appear on their chests.
While Toshinori is still alive, a ghost like form of him is within the star of One For All. This echo of Toshinori was infused with the power of the Green Light. And like the others had armor form over his ghost like body with a sigil over his chest.
The first user of One For All however had a front row seat as he saw the other users merge with the light's from Izuku's quirk. Just then the Blue Light stood before him and bowed his head. The Blue Aspect reached out and placed his hand on the frail mans shoulder, infusing the power of hope into the man. The First felt more alive then he had ever been since waking up within OFA the first time. Armor formed over the man's body and a sigil also was seen on the man's chest. The First places his hand on the sigil and felt peace enter his body and smiled. This peace reminded him of when he passed OFA on to the second user and the start of OFA's journey of hope towards a better future.
"What happened?" asked First.
Blue appeared in front of him with a smile. "We knew that One For All was going to come into Izuku eventually. We wanted to help Izuku with mastering the power of OFA but as we were about to merge with it, we sensed you and the others in here. We decided it would be best that you and the others gain parts of us to help you to communicate with Izuku once you feel he is ready."
First smiled at the aspect in front of him. "I see. Thank you. I look forward to meeting Midoriya in time. For now thou, we will remain silent to him until he is strong enough to hear us."
Blue nods his head. "We understand. We won't tell Izuku until he is ready to know of you. It will be interesting to have you in here with us."
Blue and the other aspects of Izuku's quirk leaves OFA and returns to orbiting the OFA star within Izuku. The power of the Spectrum began to expand due to the energy of One For All and with it doing so, Izuku also began to change as well.
(UA High Infirmary/Two Hours Later)
Izuku was asleep on the bed in the Infirmary as his mother watched over him. Chiyo was looking over his vitals while Toshinori, Sorahiko and Nezu waited to find out if Izuku was okay.
"Toshinori what happened?" asked Nezu.
"I'm not sure. He ate my hair and nothing else happened until he passed out a few hours later." Said Toshinori.
"What about your shampoo? Was there something in it that caused an allergic reaction?" asked Sorahiko.
"No I used a special shampoo made by Chiyo just for this." Said Toshinori.
"It's true. I have had Toshinori use it for the past month to make sure that nothing would happen to Midoriya." Said Chiyo.
"Also, my baby isn't allergic to anything. This has never happened to him in the past." Said Inko.
"I'm sure that Midoriya will be fine everyone. We merely have to wait for him to wake up." Said Nezu.
Just then Izuku's fingers glowed brightly blinding everyone in the room. When the light died down the adults looked to see that Izuku's fingers had changed a bit. While they are still colored they now have strange symbols on them.
Izuku groaned and sat up in his seat to the surprise of everyone. He looked around to see that he was in the infirmary.
"Here again? I really hope that this doesn't become a habit." Said Izuku which got everyone to chuckle and for Inko to hold onto her son.
"I hope not deary. I would hate for you need a permanent bed here with you name on it." Said Chiyo which got Izuku to blush and for the heroes to laugh.
After controlling his laughter, Toshinori stepped forward to his student. "Are you alright Midoriya? What happened back at the beach?"
"I'm fine Yagi-sensei. The reason why I blacked out was because my quirk was stabilizing OFA in my body." Said Izuku.
"What do you mean kid?" asked Sorahiko.
"The aspects of my quirk could sense the power coming from OFA. They knew that if they did nothing then I would have lost control of both and would have either damaged the area around me or the energy would have killed me. Fortunately my Spectrum quirk stabilized OFA in me. Right now I think that I can only use about 3% of OFA's power according to my aspects." Said Izuku.
Inko sighed in relief that her son's quirk was keeping him safe as did the other heroes. Chiyo began to look over Izuku's vitals to make sure that he is okay and that nothing went wrong with the transfer.
"While this is good to hear it is imperative that you gain a level of control of One For All. Especially before the school year starts." Said Nezu.
"I understand Nezu sir. I may have only a week, but I will figure out how to control One For All." Said Izuku.
Sorahiko grinned at Izuku. "Don't you worry about that you Zygote. I'll be giving you one hell of a training course. The same kind that I put this blond knucklehead thru."
Izuku was ready to geek out when he heard that but stopped when he saw Toshinori shaking in fear as the memories came back. Izuku looked from his idol to the small old man and could only blanch.
"I'm not going to like this am I?" asked Izuku, afraid of the answer.
"Nope. Welcome to my brand of hell on earth." Said Sorahiko with a smile that would make demons shake in their boots.
Izuku could do nothing but gulp in fear of the old man and prayed that he would make it out of this in one piece.

(Meet Nezu the Yellow Lantern)
"Run! Run away! He is coming!" yelled a third-year student with pure fear in his voice.
Today is when the third-year students are doing their mock exams of the first semester in their final year of UA. But right now, these trained and villain tested students were running for their lives like grade school children from their principal. The reason? Nezu wanted to test something with Izuku's quirk, and this was the end result.
Nezu was in the middle of operating a giant robot made of yellow light. His normal suit was now Yellow with a sigil on the front of it. He was sipping his tea with a mad gleam in his eyes as he giggled like a mad man ready to make the world his plaything.
"That's right. Run from me you cowards! No one can stand up to me, Nezu the embodiment of fear! Flee you fools! Mhahahaha!" laughed out Nezu.
Above everyone in a sealed booth was the rest of the staff and Izuku. Everyone was wide eye at the carnage that the small principal was causing below. Aizawa was twitching his eye with annoyance and dread.
"Problem child." Said Aizawa.
"Yes Aizawa-sensei?" asked Izuku since he knew that the man was talking to him.
"If Nezu asks for that power again. DON'T give it to him." Said Aizawa.
"Yes sir." Said Izuku as he looked down in embarrassment.
"Groan. I'm going to be busy for a while." Said Hound Dog.
"Sorry Hound Dog-sensei." Said Izuku.
"Not your fault kid. This was a test after all, but this is beyond what we thought would happen." Said Hound Dog.
They all look down as Nezu had the giant robot fire off missiles of yellow at the students while laughing like a mad man.
Oh yeah, Nezu is not allowed to have access to the power of the Yellow Light ever again.

Now in the next chapter we will see the entrance exam and the first day of UA. As well as Izuku meet with his classmates and a few more lovely ladies as well.
Now to go over a small list of what Izuku's quirk can do. All lights can boost Izuku's strength and endurance while also can make any object out of light but with slight differences. Rage, Greed, Fear and Death makes the objects much more deadly or lethal then the other lights due to their properties which makes them very dangerous in hero work. But each light has other abilities that makes them unique. Remember, this power is a QUIRK! Not the real lantern powers of D.C. comics.
Here is a small list of what each one can do, but please note that this is not all that they can do. Not going to reveal everything here. Why spoil the surprise?
Green- Able to increase the will of others around Izuku when in use.
Blue- Instills a feeling of hope that pushes others forward. Is also able to boost those under the effects of Will.
Violet- Able to heal others like Recovery Girl's quirk minus the stamina issue.
Indigo- Able to Calm the minds of this who are afraid and scared. Also can tell if a person is lying as well.
Red- Increases Izuku's strength beyond the norm. Also increases his internal temperatures.
Orange- Allows Izuku to make an exact copy of anyone that Izuku has studied extensively or has beaten in combat. Note- Orange is an energy drain, the stronger the person that Izuku wants to make, the hard it is to keep intact and lessens the time they can remain active.
Yellow- is able to tell what a person is afraid off with just a glance. Much like Orange, Yellow is able to make copies of what a person is afraid of and the copies are even able to mimic voices if they are able to speak. Yellow- Like Greed, Fear is an energy drain.
Black- allows Izuku to locate those that have died recently within the last two hours. Is also able to make illusions.
White- Boosts the powers of the other lights to well beyond their normal capabilities. But as Izuku is now, this ability would kill him if he tried to use it. Thanks to white Izuku is also able to locate people that he is familiar with but only three at a time and within a limited range. Other powers include (Redacted) and is able to (Redacted).
