The next morning Cole was on his daily duty's running threw the city. when he spotted something. it looked to by a bunch of people picking on a kid. he parked his bike and pulled on his hood. he crept in and and watched, listening.
"im going to ask one more time. WHERE IS THE EMBER!" the leader said.
"i-i don't know!" the kid said.
"i know you took it after we broke in! I KNOW YOUR HIDING IT!"
Cole thought. "a Ember? whats that?"
"That's it i gave you a chance kid, now pay the pric-
"pick on someone your own size!" Cole said and kicked the leader in the face. the man stumbled back. "ITS THE NINJA GET HIM!" the leader said after taking of with the boy.
Cole battled them and they ended up defeated, Cole got to his bike and caught up to the man. he chased him down. and manege to grab the kid. "Hang on tight!" Cole yelled to the kid. The kid warped his arms around Cole's waist as the out rid the man. Cole took the Kid to the police station. the comshaner said that he would keep the kid safe and track down his parents, and get some answers.
"were have you been?" Lloyd asked. Cole explained what had happend. Lloyd scratched his chin.
"whats a Ember?"
Cole shrugged, well he stuffed his mouth with cake. Zane walked in. "have you guys seen Kai or Jay?"
They both shrugged. "probably still asleep, will check on them in a bit."
Zane shook his head. " i worry for them. They haven't been handling this well."
