Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Hornet and Phantom. Enjoy the 1200-word chapter. I don't own Bleach, Tite Kubo and a few others do.

Riku slipped into the room. Every soldier in Feng's division was someone who handled stealth missions was skilled at it.

He moved further inside the home as he hummed and slowly looked around the manor. Riku crept towards where he knew that Sei-Feng would be… Cranky when he found her. Their captain was someone who would break a person in half for daring to bother her.

And of course, the rest of the division would send him into the lion's den. He was not ok with waking up the lioness that slept within the den.

"Captain?" Riku questioned as he looked around the room. "Your needed at the moment." Riku said as he cleared his throat before he looked to the side.

Riku heard nothing as he walked through the rest of the building. He knew where their captain was.

"Captain?" Riku asked and sighed as he drew closer to the stealth captain. "Your needed currently. It's very important that you come soon." Riku stated as he cleared his throat.

He was transfixed from his thoughts as he arrived outside the captain's room. He cleared his throat and then started to think to himself. Riku didn't want to say anything at the moment, it'd bother her and annoyed her. Riku brushed down his reaper uniform.

Oh, this was just great. He'd be walking into the fires when it came down to it. He placed a hand on the door.

'I swear to god she's going to gut me repeatedly if I open this door. She'll come out snarling like a monster if I do something.' Riku stated mentally to himself as he cleared his throat.

Riku knocked gently as he leaned against the wall. He didn't want Sui-Feng to come out swinging. If it was only a verbal thrashing Riku would be thankful. He was quite curious as to what would cause the usually on top of things captain to sleep. He was quite curious as to what was causing it at the moment.

"Oh, she's going to gut me like a pig when I enter." Riku stated to himself before allowing one more knock. "Lady Feng? We need you up right now. We need to be busy today. The division needs you for exercises outside." Riku said and then lowered his head.

He opened the door and then turned to go inside. Things needed to be done. Riku hummed and then cleared his throat as he turned to enter.

"Lady Feng, are you awake?" Riku asked before he turned the door handle.

He was greeted by the sight of the force captain cooped up into her cot. Riku watched the woman's chest rise and fall and noticed that not only was she passed out in a deep sleep, but she was clad in only the bare garments of her uniform. Her shoes and socks laid neatly next to her.

Riku shook his head and rubbed his eyes once more. The second she awoke? She'd rip him open like a pinata. He should have never even considered coming in here.

'If she doesn't kill me? I'm killing most of the division for this.' Riku thought to himself as he sighed. He'd have to wake her up sooner or later.

He almost wanted to throw a stone at her if possible. But she'd hear his footsteps towards the lobby. Riku estimated she'd kill him before he even made it down the hall.

"Please don't tell me I'm going to have to actually touch her." Riku muttered to himself as he slowly walked up towards her. "Oy, this is going to kill me." Riku said and shook his head before he slowly raised her hand.

Riku cleared his throat and hummed before slightly moving his hand towards her. This was going to be the worst mistake he ever made in his short life.

"I hate this." Riku said before he brought his arm towards her arm. "Captain Feng." Riku said before slightly shaking her.

He was greeted by the woman's grey eyes shooting open. She grabbed her sword while kicking a foot towards him. Riku flipped backwards and caught himself. Sei-Feng leapt after him, if he wasn't a member of the stealth force? Her blade would have skewered her as he shook his head and brought up his sword, pausing her sword from his face.

By a few inches… He blinked and took a deep breath as the woman's eyes took in every detail.

"What are you doing in my quarters?" Sei-Feng questioned as Riku took a deep breath. "What time is it?" Sei-Feng asked as she slowly lowered her sword.

"Noon, Lady Feng." Riku said before sheathing his sword on his hip. "You've overslept. The division wanted me to awaken you. I'm sorry to bother you, I knew that this would be your reaction to being awakened." Riku stated with a hum as he turned.

Sei-Feng's eyes widened as she took in her room. She looked at her subordinate with surprise.

"I overslept by several hours?!" Sei-Feng yelled as she cursed under her breath. "Why did one of you not wake me earlier!?" Sei-Feng screeched which caused Riku to sigh and shake his head.

"We thought you were busy with official business, Lady Feng." Riku said before bowing his head fully. "A thousand pardons. I didn't want to awaken you, you looked ready to skewer me on a blade." Riku added while brushing off his uniform.

He continued to watch the captain as she dawned her robes. She was furious, but kept it under control. She pulled on her socks and shoes over bare feet in one fluid moment. Riku questioned if the woman even wasted one movement at the moment.

"Ugh… Training wore on far too long." Sei-Feng said while looking at his head. "Is the rest of the division up to speed, warrior?" Sei-Feng asked and got a nod.

"If you mean awaiting your arrival?" Riku asked and rubbed at his eyes. "Then yes. Their probably guessing you killed me. They asked me to awaken you. I didn't want to bother you when it comes down to it. I thank you for not turning me into a corpse." Riku said and then cracked his fingers once more.

Sei-Feng looked ready to gut someone. He wished it was the entire division that suffered.

Then again? Knowing captain Feng? EVERYONE would suffer when she got her hands on them.

"Come with me." Sei-Feng ordered as she turned and walked away. Riku turned and followed after her a moment later.

To defy Sei-Feng was like dancing with fire, you'd either be crazy or just plain foolish to do so.

Then again? He was foolish enough to arrive.
