warning Izuku and Bakugo have some explaining to do as far as the questions from chapter 1...this is that explanation.

Izuku drew in a breath, standing in front of Youko's room. Bakugo reached out, taking his hand and giving it a comforting squeeze.

"You know we gotta do this." He said. After hearing about the conversation with Katsuki, Izuku's heart shattered.

"I know. I feel terrible about this. She's never-"

"She's in school now, she's gonna be exposed to more things. You calling your mom for Mother's Day isn't something she'd be curious about since you're always talking to her and she's seeing people make a big deal out of it now. She needs to understand." Katsuki reasoned.

"You're right. I just hope she doesn't end up hating me. I'm worried about how she'll handle this. I mean, we'll have to explain to her where babies come from. What if I tell her and she-"

"Deku, that little girl loves you more than anything. Do you remember at the beginning of the school year when we dropped her off? They invited the parents to stick around for a bit until the kids were comfortable?"

"Yeah. What about it?"

"Teacher asked the kids what their favorite things were. What did our kid say?"Izuku smiled faintly.

"Us." He replied softly. "But that was before. If she finds out-I never meant to hurt her like this. I thought knowing she has two parents that love her would be enough. Now, because I didn't want to confuse her, I-"

"Hey, we can fix this. You didn't do it to hurt her and she'll know that. Sometimes crap doesn't work out the way we thought it would, you should know that by now."

"Kacchan?"

"What?"

"Thanks...for doing this with me. I'm still not sure what to say to her."

"Just tell her the truth, Nerd."Deku sighed, tightening his grasp on Katsuki's hand as he stepped into the room to find his daughter lying on the floor with her crayons and a small stack of paper.

"Y-Youko?" Izuku called out, the dark-haired child looked up from her activity.

"Hi 'Zuku and Daddy, did you come to color with me?"She asked. "Coloring makes me feel better, but it's not working right now. Maybe we can make a picture together."

"W-we can do that, but first, there's something your dad and I want to talk to you about." Izuku and Katsuki lowered themselves onto the floor beside her. Youko tilted her head.

"Am I in trouble, 'Zuku?"Deku shook his head.

"Not at all. It's just something that we think you should know, Your dad told me about your talk today. He said you were sad in class and you had some questions about certain things. Do you feel like talking about it?"Izuku invited. Youko nodded.

"You asked why you don't have a mommy and where you came from. The short answer is...you do. You came from the love your dad and I have for each other. That's a special thing, Youko." The child gazed up at her parents with confusion.

"Where is my mommy? Did she run away because-"

"No, Sunshine. You know that your dad and I are both your parents, but I didn't want to confuse you. Mommies are usually girls and- well, I'm not. I didn't know what to have you call me, so I just taught you to use my name. I'm your mommy. You came from...us."

" 'Zuku told the stork to bring me?"Izuku sighed.

"This isn't going very well, is it, Kacchan?"

"Do you know why one parent is usually the mom and one's the dad?" Youko shrugged.

"Their mommies and Daddies named them that."Bakugo chuckled.

"That's not their name, Youko. Deku's your mom, but his name is Izuku. Before you, I wasn't called dad. Just like your name is Youko, if you had a kid one day, they'd start calling you mom. That's their place in the kid's life. I hate to tell you this, but storks don't actually bring babies."

"Then...where am I from?" Izuku shared a concerned glance with Katsuki.

"well... That's what makes moms and dads different, I guess. I have a very special quirk that let you live in my tummy for a while until you got big enough to be with us." Youko frowned.

"That doesn't sound very nice. Why was I in there?"

"That's a conversation for another time. All you need to know right now is that you do have a mom and he's been right here the whole time."Katsuki replied.

"You're really my mommy?" Youko asked, moving closer to Deku. The dark-haired man gave a short nod.

"I really am." He confirmed. "And you know what?"

"What?" Izuku pulled her into a hug.

"Of all the things in the world I could be, being your mom is my favorite. You've always made me so proud."

"Both of us, "Bakugo added.

"You weren't mad that I was in your tummy? I can't remember going in there."

"Of course not. You are the best present your dad ever gave me. We loved you from the beginning and we always will."

"Even you, Daddy?"Katsuki ruffled her hair gently, earning a giggle, and leaned in, kissing the top of her head.

"Yep. Even me. The first time you looked up at me, I loved you. Gave you my name so everyone would know you're my little girl and took care of you. You've always been my little ass-kicker."

"He's been calling you that since you were a tiny baby. You had your dad's heart the second he saw you and mine the first time I heard your voice." Youko's eyes again filled with tears as she grabbed onto Izuku and Katsuki joined in.

"What's wrong, Youko?" Deku asked. "I know this is a lot, but I promise you that-"

"No." She sobbed. "I'm happy, I have my very own mommy and Daddy says he loves us. This is a happy day!" She raised her head to look at Deku.

"'Zuku, I love you lots." She sniffled. "But can I please call you Mommy instead?"

"I-are you sure?"

"Yeah." Izuku held back a whimper as his heart melted.

"Kacchan, sh-she wants to-"

"I heard her. Honestly, I don't care if she calls you Deku the three-eyed tree squid, as long as she knows you're her parent and shows some respect, it's up to you to decide what you want."

"Please...Mommy?"Deku nodded through his own tears.

"Knock it off you two. That's enough now."Bakugo said, still holding onto his family.

"Oh no!" Youko choked out through sobs. "W-we need to give mommy a present for mommy's day."

"Don't you worry about that, Youko. You just gave me...everything." Deku cried. It took another fifteen minutes for Katsuki to calm his family.
Soon the family found themselves lying on the floor, each member held a crayon.

"What are you making, Daddy?" Youko asked, looking over at Katsuki's paper.

"Me blowing up the bad guys...and maybe a couple buildings."Youko chuckled.

"You're silly. You're not s'posed to do that, you have to save the building."

"You sure about that?" Bakugo teased.

"uh-huh. But it's okay to blow up the bad people. Just make sure they
re bad first."

"You think I'd go around blowing up random people?"

"Yes."Izuku and Youko replied in unison.

"Daddy, when I'm big, can I blow bad people up too?"

"That's not the point of-" Izuku began, noticing the smirk on Katsuki's face.

"Weren't you the one that said we should encourage her to do what she wants?"

"You know that's not what I meant."Deku sighed. "It's scary how alike you two are sometimes."

"Mommy?"

"Yeah?"

"If I lived in your tummy, can other babies do it too?"

"Well, I-"

"No." Katsuki interrupted. "no more babies."Youko picked up her paper and sat up.

"Why? You're a good daddy and Mommy's good too. I would like the new baby lots."

"That's nice, but it's not good for your mom."

"Oh. That's sad. Did it make you sad?"

"Not really sad. We just have to remember that it's better this way and to be grateful that we're all here. We already have the best kid ever."

"I made pictures for you, Mommy and Daddy." Youko handed her parents a paper. Deku smiled, recognizing his family in stick figure form, standing in a field of flowers.

"It's beautiful, Youko. I'm going to put this in the living room so everyone can see it." Izuku promised. Katsuki laughed as he looked over his own.

"What did she make you, Kacchan?"

"Looks like I blew up the entire block." He turned the paper. Red flames shot out from behind what Izuku assumed was Bakugo with his arms raised above his head and the villain lay on the ground at his feet.

"That's pretty good, Youko." Her father praised. "Think it's about time for bed though. It's getting late and we've got things to do tomorrow."

"But Daddy!" Youko protested. Katsuki rose to his feet, lifting the child into his arms and placing her in bed.

"Get some sleep, we'll see you tomorrow." the blond kissed her forehead, tucking her in before moving aside and allowing Izuku to say goodnight.

"Goodnight, Sunshine. We love you so much." Youko reached up, pulling him into a hug.

"Night night, Mommy and Daddy." She yawned, turning on her side. She watched as her parents exited the room before closing her eyes.

Once they had made their way to their own room, Izuku wrapped his arms around Katsuki.

"Thank you." He said. "For being so good with our daughter. You really are amazing, Kacchan." Izuku laid down on his side of the bed and was soon joined by Bakugo. The blond propped himself up on his arm, facing his lover.

"Know what else is incredible?"

"What?" Katsuki placed his hand on Izuku's belly.

"You. It's been a while, but I still can't believe our kid was in there." Izuku rested a hand on top of Bakugo's.

"Kacchan-"

"I've been thinking... It's kind of ridiculous that we're a family and you're the weird one that...has a different last name. Maybe it's time we changed that, I mean who the hell are we kidding, we said eighteen years, but you never stop being a parent. Look at ours, yours is still overprotective and invites us over for dinner, crap like that. So maybe think about it, or at least adding it to yours. I mean, you're my nerd, I think it's time people knew, don't you?"

"Y-yeah, o-okay." Izuku tried to hold back tears of joy.

"And quit crying, all the damn time. You still planning on going to see your mom on Mother's Day?"

"Yeah."

"We'll tell her then. We gotta get up early, try to sleep." Katsuki kissed Izuku, turning to the lamp on the bedside table and turning it off. Izuku however couldn't sleep, he tried to process what had happened. A small sniffle escaped him and Bakugo grumble.

"Come here." He growled. Izuku shifted his body over to the blond's side of the bed, resting his head on Katsuki's chest. "Now go to sleep, damn it."

"I'll try."

"Hey," Bakugo called.

"Yeah?"

"Love you, dumbass."

"Love you too Kacchan, but why do you still have to be so mean?" Bakugo merely chuckled before falling asleep.
