"Sorry, Min. Gotta see what this one looks like!" Martin said as he enters the portal. Just then, Simon is pushed out of the Multiverse Bridge. "Hey, Finn's dad just pushed me out!" Simon said as the portal closes. "I'll open it again." Minerva said as she types at the computer, only to stop in shock. "Oh no." she said.

"What's wrong? Is there a problem?" Simon asked Minerva. "Martin disconnected before the machine could log the coordinates." Minerva answered. "That means unless their dad opens a portal back here, Finn and Jake are stuck wherever they are?" Simon asked Minerva. "I'm not worried about where they ended up. I'm more worried that his father is with them." Minerva answered. "Honestly, I know nothing about Finn's dad. I can't even imagine how bad he could be." Simon said.

Finn and Jake emerge from the Multiverse Bridge to the middle of a city in the afternoon. "Aw man, I thought we were gonna see some upside-down mountains, or a sideways ocean!" Jake whined. "Everything looks normal. I see some humans around. I guess it's dog mode again, Jake." Finn said. "No, wait. Look over there!" Jake pointed. He points to a woman walking and talking with an anthropomorphic hyena wearing a leather jacket.

Passing by them is a jeep driven by an anthropomorphic ostrich, accompanied by a possum. "It's like past world, but with animal people like in Ooo." Jake noted. "Let's take a look around. Maybe we'll find another us." Finn said. "Another? One of you's already enough." a voice spoke from behind them. Finn and Jake turn around and see Martin in place of Simon.

"Martin?! What are you doing here? Mom hooked you up to the bridge! Where's Simon?!" Finn asked Martin angrily. "That nerd I pushed away? I can't believe a dweeb who looks like that hangs out with someone like you." Martin commented. "Hey, Simon's not a nerd! He's smart and caring friend who's been through a lot!" Finn barked back. "I'm just saying. I mean, who wears circular glasses anymore?" Martin shrugs. "He does! You're gonna regret saying that when we get back home." Finn responded.

"This is bad. We need to call your mom." Jake said as he produced an Amp Arsenal from a cavity in his chest. He tries to contact Minerva, but is unable to connect to their home universe. Coordinate logging allows communication between universes by channelling signals through the Multiverse Bridge systems, but because Martin departed through the portal before the coordinates could be logged, Jake can't communicate with his home universe and vice-versa.

"Not getting any bars, Finn." Jake told Finn. "What? How?" Finn asked. "If I had to guess, your dad messed up something when he pulled those wires off him." Jake said. "Martin, open a portal back home!" Finn demanded. "C'mon, we just got here!" Martin argued.

They feel a rumble beneath their feet. "Earthquake!" Jake screamed. Accelerating down the street is a golf cart driven by a screaming blue jay and a raccoon. "This is all your fault, Rigby!" the blue jay screamed as they pass Finn, Jake, and Martin. After the golf cart, a massive pink-frosted donut rolling down the street chases after them.

"Was that a giant donut?!" Jake exclaimed. "They look like they're in danger! Let's help them!" Finn said. He turns to Martin with an angry look. "Stay. Here." he sternly told Martin before he and Jake run after the donut. Martin looks as Finn and Jake run down the street before flicking a peace sign across his chest and fades out.

The golf cart continues to be chased by the donut down the road. "What do you mean it's my fault, Mordecai?! You're the one who wanted donuts!" Rigby argued. "You were the one who found that bunker door under the dumpster!" Mordecai rebutted. "Well- uh, you followed me down there too!" Rigby barked back. They are soon saved when Jake grows giant size and grabs the donut.

Mordecai and Rigby stop and look up at the giant dog as he eats the donut. "Huh, it's dry." Jake commented as he munches on the donut. "Still tastes great, though." he added. "Rigby, are you seeing a giant yellow dog?" Mordecai asked Rigby. "Yep." Rigby answered with a surprised look at Jake.

After Jake finishes off the donut, he shrinks down to his regular size and licks his fingers as Finn catches up. "Hey, you guys alright?" Finn asked Mordecai and Rigby. "Yeah, we're good. Thanks for the help, man." Mordecai thanked Jake. "No probs. I was getting hungry anyway." Jake said. "I'm Finn, and this is Jake over here." Finn introduced himself and Jake.

"We're from outta town, just touring and stuff." Jake said. "I'm Mordecai." Mordecai introduced himself. "I'm Rigby." Rigby introduced himself. "So, what's up with that donut?" Finn asked them. "Lunch run went wrong. Again." Mordecai answered as he looked at Rigby.

"Again? Is this normal for you?" Jake asked Mordecai. "I kinda wish it wasn't. It's like every stinkin' restaurant and café 'round here has a dangerous secret." Rigby answered. "Aw, dang! I almost forgot about Martin!" Finn said. "Oh yeah! We can't leave someone like that alone!" Jake said. "Sorry, Mordecai and Rigby, but we gotta check on my deadbeat dad." Finn said.

He and Jake hurriedly run the other way as they wave back to Mordecai and Rigby. They look at the adventurers, still bewildered at their rescue by Jake's appetite. "So… who's gonna break it to Benson that we don't have donuts?" Mordecai asked Rigby. "Punchies! We'll play punchies for it!" Rigby answered quickly. Mordecai promptly punches Rigby in the face.

They drive their golf cart back to a park in the middle of the city. They pass by a fat, green man raking leaves alongside a ghost with a hand sticking out of his head. Mordecai and Rigby park in front of a big green house on a hill where a living gumball machine with metal arms and legs is angrily waiting. "Where are the donuts?" the gumball machine asked. "The place got destroyed." Rigby said.

He and Mordecai stand quietly for a few seconds before Mordecai elbows Rigby. "Because of me." Rigby added as he rubs his arm. "It just happens, Benson." Mordecai added. Benson rubs the bridge of his nose and sighs. "Mordecai, Rigby, I'll give you one last chance today to get lunch." Benson said.

He hands them a menu for a different restaurant. "Why not get Thomas to do it? He's the intern, and it's basically his job." Rigby asked. "He said he was meeting up with his mom, so he had to take a day off." Benson answered. "Since when do interns get day-offs?" Mordecai wondered. "*SIGH* You're gonna get seven cheeseburgers and get back here within the hour or YOU'RE FIRED!" Benson screamed threateningly.

"Ugh, we got it, Benson." Mordecai said as he and Rigby re-enter the golf cart. Benson furiously stares at them as they drive away. "This place better not be cursed, or something." Mordecai commented in frustration. They drive out of the Park and pass by a destroyed building that once was a donut shop, where a scientist is being arrested by police. "Next time we buy donuts, we're going to Candy's." Mordecai commented as they took a look at the scene.

They arrive at the burger shop; a yellow-painted building along a stretch of buildings with a giant burger sign mounted on the flat roof. "Looks ordinary enough…" Mordecai said. They enter the burger shop and soon emerge with bags of cheeseburgers. "So far, so good. The only deviation was you buying onion rings." Mordecai said as he turned to Rigby, who is eating a paper tray of onion rings. "These are really, really good! Try one, they're super crunchy." Rigby said as he offered the tray to Mordecai.

Mordecai takes one onion ring and eats it. As they eat the rings, Rigby looks around the street and sees a restaurant that sticks out from the rest; a steakhouse named "Fangs-In Steakhouse", with a massive sign depicting a steak being bitten with vampire-like fangs, and "Grand Opening" signs on the windows. "Man, these do taste good." Mordecai commented on the onion rings. "Mordecai, do you see that steakhouse over there? Doesn't it feel… off to you?" Rigby asked Mordecai. "It's probably one of them themed restaurants. Y'know, the ones where they have the employees wear some costume and practice lines." Mordecai commented.

A group of people enter the establishment, greeted by a blonde woman with grey skin and fangs wearing a black waitress outfit made of a short-sleeved shirt, a red waist apron, and a black visor. "Welcome to Fangs-In." the woman greeted the patrons with a Romanian accent. "Ugh, they even got a Dracula accent." Mordecai said. "Let's just get back to the Park before Benson blows his lid." Mordecai said as he enters the golf cart. As they drive away, an old man with grey skin spies on the burger shop across the street.

Finn and Jake are walking around the very same Park that Mordecai and Rigby work at. Finn was rubbing his head in stress as Jake follows with a worried look. "Glob… where could Martin be? We need him to get outta this universe safely." Finn said. "I had a feeling he wouldn't stay put when you told him to stay put." Jake said. "I know, I know. I don't even know why I said that." Finn added.

"We might need help to find him. Maybe if we can find our other selves, we can ask them for help." Jake suggested. Finn stops and looks back to Jake. "I don't think there is another us in this universe. I don't know why, but whenever we come to another universe, we arrive really close to the other us." Finn said. "Oh yeah, good point. Usually, we find ourselves a minute or two into our journey, but we've been wandering the city for an hour, and still no sign of another us." Jake commented. "I think that's what sets this universe from our multiverse; there's no us." Finn said.

Mordecai and Rigby return to the park and hand Benson the burgers. "Finally. See, that wasn't so hard." Benson said. "So, can we go on break?" Mordecai asked Benson. "Yeah, yeah. You've got an hour, then you're cleaning the toilets." Benson said. "Ugh, I really hope Muscle Man didn't drop a mean one today." Rigby cringed as he got his burger meal.

The two friends go to the snack bar area to eat their lunch. "So, you think we should try out that Fangs-In place for our next lunch run?" Mordecai suggested to Rigby as he ate a fry. "Mordecai, didn't you listen to me? That place feels way off. Even if it was just a normal theme restaurant, we can't afford steak." Rigby added. As they eat, they see Finn and Jake passing by. "Look, it's that growing dog and the kid with the weird hat." Rigby pointed out for Mordecai.

"Yo! Finn, right?" Mordecai yelled to Finn. Finn and Jake turn to Mordecai and Rigby sitting at the table. "Jake, it's those guys we saved." Finn said as he walks over to Mordecai and Rigby. "I didn't expect to see you again." Finn greeted the two. "We work here at the park." Mordecai said.

"Sounds boring." Jake said. "Believe me, it's not. I'd rather have our manager barking orders at us be the most nerve-wracking thing to happen every day." Mordecai said. "I dunno, I'm kinda on the fence on that. I mean, what other groundskeeper has relations to extradimensional beings?" Rigby added. "You guys said you were on a tour? What did you have in mind?" Mordecai asked. "Well… it's more like an adventure. We look for weird problems and we fix them." Finn said.

"Weird problems, huh? I think we've got one of those" Rigby said cleverly.
