I DON'T OWN THE SHOW!

Inspiration: Hold On by Chord Overstreet

Summary: Adrien comes over for a school project but is surprised with something much different.

"Marinette?", Adrien calls, walking into the bakery. Earlier when he asked Marinette when he should come, she said to just come in and walk up to the room. 'Just knock first," she said. He climbs up the ladder to her bedroom and knocks twice.

"Marinette?", he calls. She didn't respond.

"Marinette?", he called louder, knocking once more. He slowly opened the door and poked his head in. She wasn't in there. 'Where could she be?', he thought. He walked around the house in hopes of finding her. Adrien walks past the bathroom, noticing water seeping under the door he goes to the door and tries to open it. It's locked.

"Marinette?", he called. No one answered.

"Marinette!?", he screamed as more water flowed out. He pounded on the door.

"MARINETTE OPEN THE FUCKING DOOR!", he screamed. She again didn't respond. He grows paranoid.

"MARINETTE!", Adrien screams. He couldn't take it anymore; he kicked the door down. Adrien walks in to find a clothed Marinette fully submerged underwater.

"No, no, no, no, no," he mutters. He pulls her out of the bathtub and checks her pulse. It's still there, but very faint.

"MARINETTE! PLEASE! PLEASE WAKE UP!", he screams. With a shaky hand, Adrien pulls out his phone and calls 112. A couple of minutes later, ambulance sirens fill the streets. Paramedics rush in and take Marinette out of Adrien's arms and onto a stretcher. He walks out to follow them into the ambulance but notices a small box and a note with his name on it resting on the side of the sink. He grabs them, stuffs them in his pocket, and rushes out the room. He watched as they took her away to try to save her life, leaving him sitting outside the waiting room. He remembered the note and pulled it out of his pocket with shaky hands. He slowly unfolded it and started to read.

'Dear Adrien,

I know that by now I'm dead. Well, at least I hope I am. Yes, I did purposely kill myself. Why? Lila finally got to me. I never told you but the day you told me to take the high road, she threatened me. Since then, she's been hurting me every single day. I'm sorry I never told you. But I'm gone now so there's no going back. I want you to tell mom and dad that I love them. Tell Alya she's like the sister I never had and to forget about me. Tell Nino to remember all the times from our childhood. Especially all those playdates we had. Those were good times. A happier time. Oh, and if he breaks Alya's heart, you can kill him. Tell Chat Noir that I was his ladybug. Yup, I was Ladybug. Give that box to him. They have my miraculous. Oh, and tell him, half of my heart always belonged to him. Before I go, there's one last thing I want to tell you. I love you. You're the boy who holds the other part of my heart but that never mattered. I was only ever just a friend to you. So just, move on and go live your life.

Love Marinette.'

Tears streamed down his face. She was his lady, his princess. Both the girls he fell in love with is one and she is in love with him. But she tried to kill herself, and it was all his fault. He was the one to told her to leave Lila be.

"Mr. Agreste," A doctor says, walking up to him.

"How is she?", Adrien asked, wiping the tears off his face.

"She's alive. She's in a coma but she's alive," the doctor says.

"M-may I see her?", he asks. The doctor nodded his head. Adrien gets up and opens the door to Marinette's hospital room. He walks in to see her lying on the bed. Her hair spread out across the pillow and lots of tubes connected to her, keeping her alive. He lets out a sob as he walks over to her and sits on the chair next to her. He lifts her hand up, pressing a light kiss to the back of it.

"My lady, please. Please wake up. I love you," he says, tears flowing down his face as he clutched onto her hand.

"A-Adrien?"
