"I'll comply… for now."

"Mikasa." Armin said in shock. "What are you saying?"

"I'm saying to use me as a bargaining chip."

"Eren's right with what he said." Jean said in all seriousness. "No more sacrifice."

"Kiyomi won't turn this offer away." Mikasa shook her head. "She wants me. And it's a way to control the amount of stones we give to her and obtain the help we need. It's the only way."

"But, you know," Hanji thought. "Technically, it's not a sacrifice. Mikasa will just play along with Kiyomi's whims."

"Tch." Levi sighed. "What a pain. That greedy hag."

"I have no intention to abandon you." Mikasa allowed her soft gaze to look at everyone's eyes. "All of you."

It had been three months since the deal with Hizuru.

"We're just waiting for that envoy from Hizuru." Jean said to Connie as they hammered wooden planks on the ground, creating the base of the railroads. "I'm glad we got a deal with them, but at what cost?" He glanced at Mikasa, who was carrying an unusual amount of steel bars.

"It's like what Commander Hanji said." Connie replied, wiping the sweat from his forehead. "Mikasa will keep them on a leash. One move we don't like, they'll lose their precious heir."

"I'm just pissed. Hizuru knows we need them for a ton of reasons and we don't know what their plan is for Mikasa."

"Oi!" Hanji's voice called out from a distance, with Levi trailing beside on horses.

"We received word from Hizuru." Hanji exclaimed.

"You damn brats have gotten so tall." Levi glared at all them, while they all sheepishly ducked their heads.

"Their envoy is arriving soon." The commander continued. "Remember, Hizuru is only interested in keeping the iceburst stones to themselves. Tread carefully when they are around. Mikasa, are you ready? We don't know their intentions for you." Hanji repeated Jean's sentiment.

Everyone looked at the girl in question. "Yes."

A few days later, the soldiers stood by the harbor, awaiting for the Hizuru ship coming from the horizon.

Hanji, Mikasa, and Levi stood in front of the other soldiers, wearing their olive long coats and welcoming the guests.

Lady Kiyomi exited the ship, followed by a tall, young man with similar features, wearing a sophisticated coat, one that exudes that he is a military man with high status, and an elegant sword sheathed by his hip.

The woman approached Mikasa with a smile, similar to the one when they made the deal.

"Lady Mikasa, this is my son, Shikishima."

A/N: Mwuahaha, Shikishima. Remember him? He was the pseudo-Levi in the live action movie and gave us pseudo-rivamika.
