"Where are we going," Hazazelle asked curiously.

Anakin and Obi Wan chuckled as she leaned closer to the control panel (aka dashboard) of the ship.

"We are going to Coruscant," Obi Wan replied, glancing down at her, "We are going to take you to see the Jedi."

Hazazelle's confused sky blue eyes looked up at him. "But I thought you were Jedi."

Anakin picked her up and placed the child on his knee, "We are Jedi… well… I will be a Jedi. I'm Master Obi Wan's padawan. There are other, more powerful and wiser, Jedis waiting for us at the Jedi Council in Coruscant."

"Oh."

When their ship broke out of Lightspeed, they were face-to-face with a huge dark planet. A complex maze of orange lights covered its surface. Other spacecraft were going to and away from it. Hazazelle's eyes widened in wonder at the sight. Anakin found himself smiling.

It didn't seem to take Obi Wan very long to expertly land the ship. Hazazelle continued to watch out the cockpit's window. Anakin took her off his lap and let her stand on the metal floor once again. But Hazazelle didn't seem to take any notice.

Obi Wan and Anakin began walking down the ramp. Anakin was about to speak and looked down to where he expected Hazazelle to be. He quickly turned around to see her still standing at the window.

"Come along, Hazazelle," Anakin called.

Hazazelle whipped around at his voice, her long white hair slapping her in the face. "Coming!"

The Jedi and padawan laughed as she ran down to them. They all walked over to the transport pod and climbed in.

"Good afternoon, Jedi Master Obi Wan Kenobi," a silver droid greeted.

"Good afternoon, KL41," the Jedi replied, "Take us to the Temple, please."

"Of course, sir."

"Whoa… KL41 is a Spacetrek487 Pilot Droid," Hazazelle questioned in amazement.

Anakin smiled down at her, "How do you know that?"

"That was one of our jobs back on Hikaar. We would clean and repair all sorts of droids. My favourite is the Astromech Droids."

"Very impressive, young one," Obi Wan remarked.

Hazazelle beamed brightly at the two Jedi.

The group's footsteps echoed off the great halls of the Jedi Temple. As she walked, Hazazelle could feel herself begin to shake. She wasn't sure if she was frightened, cold, or just getting a little over excited. Her mother had told her great stories of the Jedi; and now she was about to stand in a room full of them.

"Are you alright, Hazazelle?"

The girl looked up at Anakin and nodded, "Yes, sir."

The padawan smiled.

When they reached a pair of huge metal doors at the end of the corridor, Obi Wan turned to Hazazelle. He knelt in front of her to be closer to her height. Hazazelle liked these two men. She could sense they were kind. She could also sense others behind the huge doors, which started making her gitter with nervousness.

"Do not be afraid, Hazazelle," Obi Wan said gently, "None of us are here to harm you. You will be alright."

"Okay." She took a deep, calming breath and slowly let it out. The nervousness washed away. Her blue eyes sparkled a smile as she gave a curt nod.

Obi Wan winked at her as he stood, "Good girl."

She took another deep breath and straightened her posture, Hazazelle moved toward the doors with the two.

The huge doors whoosed open. A handful of Jedi Masters sat in rounded seats in a semi-circle along the windows. Their eyes went straight to Hazazelle when she entered by Anakin's side. Hazazelle felt uncomfortable at all the peering eyes and moved a little closer to Anakin.

"Master Obi Wan Kenobi. Anakin Skywalker. Were you successful at destroying the Federation Troops," a brown skinned, bald human asked. He was clothed in brown and tan robes; even his eyes were a dark brown.

"We were too late, Master Windu" Obi Wan replied sadly, "The villagers on Hikaar had already been killed."

Master Windu's face fell a little; an ordinary person wouldn't have taken any notice, but Hazazelle could even feel he was saddened by the news.

"Brought a survivor, you have," a little green alien stated - he was a little shorter than the girl.

Anakin nodded and smiled down at her, "We have, Master Yoda."

"Force sensitive, is she?"

"Yes, master," he began, turning his attention to him, "We saw her use it. She let out a wave of it that destroyed the huts when she found her people were… dead."

Master Mace Windu, Master Yoda and the other Jedi Council member's eyes seemed to fix on the girl even more. Hazazelle began fidgeting with the end of her sleeves, becoming nervous again.

Yoda hummed, turning his eyes to the Jedi and his Padawan, "Test her, we will. What to be done with her after, we shall decide."

"Thank you, Master Yoda," Obi Wan answered. He and Anakin bowed before turning to the girl. "We will be waiting outside. Search your feelings to answer any questions."

Hazazelle nodded, "Yes, sir."

Anakin and Obi Wan walked out. Once the doors whoosed shut, Hazazelle felt as though the Jedis were closing in on her, though they weren't moving anywhere. She could feel the superior presence of their authority.

"Afraid, are you, young one," Yoda questioned.

Hazazelle gulped, "No, sir. I'm just a little nervous."

"What are you nervous about," Windu asked curiously as he sat forward in his seat.

"I'm not sure, sir. It feels like you're all crowding me," she answered cautiously. She didn't want to say anything wrong, so she let her feelings form her words - just like Obi Wan had told her.

Windu nodded, seeming to understand. Everyone watched as he grabbed a tablet from the side of his chair. When he turned it on, the screen lit up with an electric blue as a figure popped up on the screen.

"Now. What you must do is guess what image is on the tablet," Windu stated.

Hazazelle nodded. She took a deep breath and calmed herself. All thoughts ran from her mind as she concentrated. "It's a Streamline StarSpeeder. A 424 model." "A cup," she said once the image changed. Hazazelle shook her head and furrowed her brows as Windu was about to change it again, "No, sorry. It's a mug, not a cup."

Windu and Yoda exchanged glances as he changed the image of the object.

Hazazelle smiled, "An R4 Astromech Droid Unit." "A Trade Federation ship."

Master Mace Windu nodded and turned the tablet off. He sat the tablet on his lap.

"Passed the test, you have," Yoda declared.

Hazazelle beamed as excitement filled her. Her blue eyes seemed to sparkle with hope.

Windu gave her a small smile, "What is your name?"

"My name is Hazazelle, sir," she replied, "I don't have a last name, though. We didn't have those back on my planet."

"Well, Hazazelle. Because you have passed, we need to find you someone to take you as their padawan. Go and tell Master Kenobi and Anakin that I wish to see them."

Hazazelle bowed like Obi Wan and Anakin had when they entered the room, "Yes, Master Windu."
