After Chris received the good news, he just couldn't wait. Even on the plane trip over he was ecstatic. Once he was finally off the plane he basically skipped towards the escalator. A season in Transylvania, he could only imagine how eerie the challenges could be. And how much they could screw with the contestants
As he went down the escalator, a smirk slowly grew on his face the moment he saw Chef in a chauffeur costume with Chris's name written on a large slip of paper.
"Well, well, well Chef. Here I was thinking you were too good for me and became an Iron Chef. What happened? Your food not good enough?"
Chef just quietly grumbled before shoving a laptop in his hands "just take this, the boss man already picked your cast, so you can see the lot on the way there"
"What!? I don't even get to pick them out, how's that right? I'm the star" Chris grit his teeth, he didn't care what this Mr. G guy did with his show, but he should be the one who decides who he torments!
"Oh relax you big baby. You got your show back, and from what he told me they at least sound passable"
Chris crossed his arms a bit. He didn't like any of that, but he would just have to put up with it it seems "alright, let's just go"
Chef leads Chris to a surprisingly large black limozine. Chris whistled a bit as he pat the top of the car "sweet ride Chef my man"
"Yea, yea. Mr. G just lent it to me to get you there so get in before I drive off without ya" Chef slammed the door as he got into the driver's seat. Chris just rolled his eyes a bit as he got into a seat in the back "like you could ditch the star of the show so soon. Who would they get to host without my presence? You?" he starts to snicker.
Chef just started driving "read your damn laptop or I'll just have you walk on the way there"
Chris just quietly chuckled to himself as he opened his computer "let's see let's see…"
Chris saw the first person listed named Lucy Holiday with a title called the "Unwilling Crossdresser" and immediately closed his laptop.
"Yea… I think I'm just gonna wait to look them all up when we get there…"
"Did you seriously get that lazy while waiting?" Chef glared through his rearview mirror.
"Yep. Besides, they're just contestants. I'll realize what they're like the moment they get here. Just look at the freaks from Pakhitew! But hey, maybe if I got to pick my contestants I would've looked them all over" Chris shrugged nonchalantly with a small smirk.
Chef groaned quietly as he focused on the road. Chris smirked as he relaxed back in his seat. Enjoying his time back at the hosting role, and more than happy to go back to abusing that role. He doubted he had any choice on the challenges, but he'll be more than happy to manipulate them to make them more fun.
AN: So I have a decent part of my cast so far, but don't feel discouraged to make a character. I mean, I barely have over half of the cast at this point, and plenty of guy roles taboot. I'm really enjoying some of the contestants I've gotten so far so I have to thank you all.
