Hello! So, welcome to the first chapter of a Sirius Glitch! And yes, the last chapter did not count. If you're going to complain about it being three sentences long, remember, it was a prologue! Anyway, I need an idea. So basically- oh, spoilers, sorry, forget that. I'll tell you in the end note! Enjoy!

Emerald green eyes intently gazed on one Sirius Black, as his duel drew him to the Veil, causing Harry to prepare himself, Cloak ready to be flung, wand hidden but in position, as Bellatrix cast that fateful spell. Then, Sirius fell slowly into the Veil, time seemingly slowing as Harry flung the Cloak over his godfather when he was halfway through, pulling him back and nonverbally stunning him, as his younger self screamed, restrained by a broken-looking Remus.

Invisible, modern Harry carried his godfather, dodging stray spells and resisting the urge to curse a Death Eater, thanking Merlin he had filled out somewhat at seventeen. Taking comfort in the fact that Sirius was the only casualty in this battle and that was no more, he hurried out before Voldemort arrived, taking care not to be in the room with Albus Dumbledore outside of the chaotic battle. He couldn't stick around, couldn't watch himself grieve, and feel the pain of loss and the agony of Voldemort's possession. He couldn't do this again, not even if he had Sirius.

He left the Ministry in haste, then Apparated to a safe house in the middle of the woods, setting Sirius on a bed and waiting for him to wake up as he made something to eat. He reluctantly took his godfather's wand, knowing when he arose, that notorious tendency to act first and think later would emerge, and no good would come of it if he had a wand. Harry yawned, and set a timer for an hour, drifting off gratefully.

Sirius's eyes flickered open, confused, and they darted around the room, memories rushing back as his eyes found a skinny teenager, sleeping soundly. His vision was blurry as he groped for his wand, the last thing he remembered was Harry, his Harry, duelling with Death Eaters. And this boy had something to do with it. He snarled, realizing his wand was gone, so he jumped on the boy, pinning his throat, grey eyes burning furiously, slightly glazed.

The boy's eyes began to flutter open, fear evident as the larger man pinned him. Then Sirius saw his eyes. The bright green eyes. Lily's eyes. Harry's eyes. Sirius lifted his hand, and pinned his wrists instead, growling "Who are you?"

"Padfoot?" Harry murmurs, eyes filled with love and pain, hurt that the one parent figure didn't recognize him. He didn't move, lying still under Sirius's grip as the man's eyes lit with recognition.

He shifted so he sat by Harry and pulled him up "Why do you look so old? Where's my Harry!? What happened to him!? WHERE'S HARRY!?" Sirius's voice rose and he began shaking Harry violently. The teenager was slightly ashamed he could handle Voldemort but not his own godfather, and escaped Sirius's grasp.

"I'm Harry! Two years older! Let me explain, for Merlin's sake!"

Sirius eyed him suspiciously but nodded.

"Look, I came back in time. In the ordinary timeline, you died in this battle, fell through the Veil. I used a Time-Turner to come get you back, but I didn't want to disturb history, so I used the Cloak and a Disillusion charm to make it seem like you died. I missed you so much, and I have a plan. Two years from now I killed Voldemort. Shush! So, I'm letting the timeline play out the same, and when we get back to modern times then you'll be reunited, I'll be overjoyed, blahblahblah. But we've got to wait it out,"

Sirius looked amazed, and pulled Harry into a hug. The Chosen One felt himself relax into his arms. How he missed this. A rough but gentle hand stroked his hair until they both fell asleep, expressions peaceful and content.

Sooooooo… How was it? I think it's an original plot, but you never know! I also need help. How are they supposed to go back? They'll spend two years waiting, but when they go back what happens? There can't be two Harry's running around, so if anybody has an idea, please share! As always, review :D
