Side Note - This Chapter will dive a bit deeper into The Elemental Legion's Characters, as it will give a small introduction to each major Elemental Master OC that will appear in the story, with some coming from mythical places, and others coming from certain walks of life
Chapter 2 : Old Friends and New Elements
January 10th. . .
7:05 a.m.
The Formlings' Kingdom. . .
Right now, Akita was in Alex's Room, with her youngest son, and youngest daughter, Clayton and Alex, and the three of them were playing a video game.
Clayton : Come on, you gotta do better than use a fake item box on the last turn little sis, it's cliche.
Princess Alex : So are these conversations.
Clayton : Hey.
Queen Akita : Alex, don't offend your brother.
Princess Alex : Sorry.
The three of them were playing Ninjago Kart 9, and were racing through Ninjago City.
Clayton : Yes, I'm finally gonna win.
Alex didn't have any items, and she got a mischievous smile on her face, and looked at Clayton, before she spit in his face, and he tried to wipe his face off, just as Alex passed him on the last turn.
Princess Alex : Yes!
Clayton : Oh, come on!
Game : Alexis Wins!
Princess Alex : Booyah!
Clayton looked at Alex and he playfully looked dumbfounded at his sister, and spoke.
Clayton : Well that was rude.
Alex giggled, and she fist bumped her brother.
Princess Alex : Princess Power.
Queen Akita : Alexis.
Akita raised an eyebrow and smiled at her daughter and Alex blushed, as Akita grabbed her and lifted her into her arms.
Queen Akita : I think you kids can take a break now. . .
Clayton : Okay, Mom.
Princess Alex : Mommy, where's Daddy?
Queen Akita : He said he had to go help Harumi, he'll be back later though.
Princess Alex : Is Vex going to come back and hurt us?
Queen Akita : No Sweetie, the Scroll was drained of it's power, Vex is completely powerless now without it, the only thing he could do is change one of your memories, but as to which of the kids he did it too, or if he did it at all, we won't know unless those memories flash back before our eyes.
Princess Alex : I hope nothing bad happened.
Queen Akita : Me too, but as for who we may meet and what places we'll come across in such time, that's something we all have to think about. . .
July 24th, 2044. . .
Journal Entries : Mika
"Young Ninja… it's cool to see more protectors in Ninjago, I'm glad my friend Raiden, brother Finn, and I aren't the only ones, but it's safe to say there's gotta be a lot of protectors in Ninjago, to save a place where I come from. . ."
Right now, there was a girl standing in her room, wearing Black Leather Pants, Orange Boots, Dark Orange Jacket, Bright Orange Nail Polish, and had a Silver Pendant, with a Black Tourmaline Gem in the middle of it.
Just then somebody knocked on the door, and they walked in.
Person : Mika, honey, you okay?
Mika looked behind her, and saw her father wearing his suit, since he was the President of his home, and the badge said Daralga.
Mika : I'm fine, Dad… or do I need to be formal and say Mister Angus Daralga
Angus shut the door, and sat in a chair at his daughter's desk, and he spoke.
Angus : Sweetie, I know something's wrong when you're sarcastic like that, now please talk to me.
Mika : I don't know, all of this… our home, the strange feeling I have to the Volcano, it's unnerving.
Angus : I know Mika, does any of this have to do with your Mother?
Mika : Maybe, I really miss her, and it seems like Raiden and Finn don't understand what i'm dealing with.
Angus : Well I do understand Mika, your Mother wanted to be as close to her home as possible, because it's a place she stood for, and if you're standing for it, it feels like part of your mother is too.
Mika : Pretty much… I'm the President's Daughter, in a home where I have always had a strange feeling inside of myself for, and a best friend and brother who are clueless of which path I'm supposed to walk down in my life.
Angus : You know as well as I do, that only you can answer that question Mika.
Mika : I know.
Angus : I miss her too Mika… and just as much as she did, I love you.
Mika : I love you too dad.
Mika hugged her father, and Angus returned the hug before standing up.
Angus : I have some work to do, so you can play with Raiden and Finn if you want too, or you just do something around the penthouse, I'll see you later.
Mika : Okay, Dad.
Angus leaves the Room, and Mika does as well to find something to do.
January 8th, 2046. . .
Journal Entries : Aliya
"My brother Richard, my daddy Morro, and my mama, Monica… ever since I became a spirit, I've wanted to just be able to feel myself again. It's been almost three years since what happened to me, and all I've ever wanted is to see my family. . ."
On some large island, inside of a palace, there was a girl in a Black Kabuki Dress, with white designs on it resembling what seemed to be a Wyvern, which was a special type of Dragon, only the girl was a Spirit, but not a cursed one, since she wasn't green, and she looked in her mirror, and could see through her hands.
Girl : *Sigh*
Suddenly there was a knock, and a man in a Black, Dark Blue, and Gold uniform walked in.
Person : Aliya, you alright?
Aliya : I'm fine Great-grandfather Taranis… I just can't feel anything anymore.
Just then, another man walked up.
Person : Grandfather, if it's okay, I got this
Taranis : Very well, Alvaro.
Alvaro walked into the room and shut the door, and looked at his niece.
Alvaro : Aliya, what is it?
The spirit known as Aliya looked around her room, and she raised her hand and could see her uncle through it.
Aliya : I can't feel anything, and I barely see myself anymore, Uncle Alvaro… I miss my family.
Alvaro : You know they won't be away from this place for long.
Aliya : That's what scares me, I don't know what my parents and brother are going to think when they see me like this, I'm not the little girl they recognize anymore.
Alvaro : I've already gotten a mouthful of that from Thora, you have nothing to worry about, you'll still be the little girl that your parents and brother loved, and nothing will change that.
Aliya sighed and hugged her uncle and he smiled.
Aliya : Thank you, Alvaro.
Alvaro : Of course, Aliya.
July 25th, 2044. . .
Journal Entries : Cloud
"Ninjago is changing, and I'm not always sure if it's for better or worse, there are so many Elemental Masters now as there were then, new elements coming out of nowhere, and old ones having new masters in the blink of an eye, it's dangerous, but it's also exciting, our realm is special for a reason, just like all the others, and what makes it special, is who makes it special. . ."
In a decent sized village, near the outskirts of Ninjago City… was a young boy who was sitting in a park, reading his book, when somebody walked up to him.
Person : Cloud Varsha, as I live and breathe.
Cloud looked up from his book, and saw an old friend.
Cloud : Corentin Mikani.
The boy put his book down, and stood up.
Corentin : You look well.
Cloud : Been better to be honest, my parents have been keeping themselves busy… where's Raiden?
Corentin : At Meadow's Peak with Mika and Finn.
Cloud : I can't blame 'em, especially if Raiden's trying to help Mika, it's only been a year since her mother died, and now her life is upside down.
Corentin : I feel it may have something to do when you live in a Republic.
Cloud : Are you just saying that because The Royal Family of Ninjago are part of a Monarchy?
Corentin : I'm not sure, it feels like they're just figureheads.
Cloud : They're more than that, mainly since the Ninjago City Mayor is who knows who, and does heck knows what, the Royal Family are really the people leading the city and a lot of the realm, with The Formlings Kingdom in the Northern half of Ninjago, and the Shintaro Skyfolk in the Mountain Region of Ninjago.
Cloud : Not to mention The Skylight City of Alalea.
Corentin : Hardly anyone knows that place exists.
Cloud : I know, I really hope someday I can see it, I've only seen it from underneath the clouds, how it looks on the surface must be really special.
Corentin : Fair enough, I guess it was just a thought, especially when Mika's Mother died, she kept saying she had some sort of strange connection to the volcano, Meadow's Peak.
Cloud : Who's to say, and who can judge her, all I know is that in this world, there are always ways that while we may never know what's ahead, the future can always look bright. . .
The two friends looked up from their conversation and saw a few birds that were different colors flying around a large tree, and they smiled.
Somewhere, on a Steam Engine Train, riding away from Stixx, was a young boy with his father, the young boy was sitting at a table looking out the window of the train.
Boy : Look at this article, about Craig Martin.
Craig : Firenze, you don't need to make fun of me, just because I'm in a newspaper.
Firenze : Sorry… we're really heading back home?
Craig : You mean back to Ninjago City?
Firenze : Yes.
Craig : Of course we are, we've been away for a long time, just because you found a way to use your powers on a Train, but… you can relax now son.
Firenze : Okay, and Mom?
Craig : She'll be there too, I know she will.
Firenze : I guess I'm just curious of where we'll go from here, I mean… you said Mom had moved us somewhere else in the City over the past year.
Craig : Son, as long as your mother and I are there, it'll be your home.
Firenze : Okay, thank you Dad.
Firenze hugged his father, and Craig returned the hug with his Son.
December 25th, 2045. . .
In some sort of Garden outside a Palace, was a girl who was holding a wreath and walked towards a Grave, and placed the wreath in front of it, and she looked at the grave.
The girl had long blonde hair, and she was wearing a Forest Green and Black Steampunk Cloak ( Or it could be considered a Tailcoat since the back of her cloak was longer than the front, since the tail of her cloak when past her knees ) with a hood ( Only she didn't have her hood on ) her cloak was mainly Forest Green, with "Victorian" themed designs, and she was also wearing a Black Vest with Silver Buttons underneath her Cloak, Black Leather Pants, Forest Green Boots, and had her full lips painted with Glossy Red Lipstick ( Like Harumi's Lipstick when she was wearing her Civilian Outfit )

Guard : She's down there Queen Azuria. . .
Queen Azuria : Delilah?
The girl looked and saw her mother coming down the stairs and into the Garden.
Delilah : Hey.
Queen Azuria : You're up, I was surprised you weren't in your room.
Azuria saw her daughter standing there in front of her father's grave, and a few tears left her eyes, but she wasn't breaking down yet.
Queen Azuria : I miss him too, honey. . .
Delilah : I'm... just wondering what my life will be without him.
Queen Azuria : I know, but we don't always get everything we want, but I'm still here Delilah, and we still have our home, don't we?
Delilah : Yes, but you're always on the throne, I know I've been going to Ninjago City to meet other people, but It's not the same as when I'm here, sure it wasn't long, but at least I got to spend time with you, and Papa.
Azuria placed her hands on her daughter's face, and she smiled, and Delilah smiled back, and Azuria kissed her daughter's cheek.
Queen Azuria : I know, and you'll see your father sometime again... I know you will, until then, I will always be for you Delilah, I love you.
Delilah wrapped her arms around her mother, and she stood up and carried Delilah in her arms.
Delilah : I love you, Mommy.
Queen Azuria : I love you too, Delilah.
Delilah : Can I head back?
Queen Azuria : To Ninjago City?
Delilah nodded, and Azuria kissed her daughter's cheek.
Queen Azuria : Of course you can, just don't get spotted, we don't want anyone knowing, until it's time, and if necessary, stay with your brother.
Delilah : Okay. . .
Delilah was about to walk away when Azuria spoke.
Queen Azuria : Aren't you going to kiss your mother goodbye?
Delilah walked back and kissed her mother's cheek, and she walked away.
Delilah : Bye, Mommy.
Azuria waved to her daughter and let her head towards Ninjago City.
January 4th. . .
At Ninjago Elementary School. . . a Girl was walking into an office.
Girl : Hi, Dad... sorry, I meant Doctor Scott.
The Man looked up from his computer, and saw his daughter at the entrance as she closed the door.
Tyler : Gwendolyn, you don't need to call me that, just because you're new and I work at the school.
Gwendolyn : I don't want to be bullied.
Tyler : Sweetie, I know it's hard to be starting in a new place, but this is what your mother would have wanted, for you to be happy.
Gwendolyn : I know, I just miss her, and I'm with a power I don't always understand, and in a place where I see nobody else who could understand Me.
Tyler : But I do honey, I gave you my powers for a reason, and while you may not always understand, I understand you, and I'm always willing to be here to help you if you need me to.
Gwendolyn came forward and she hugged her father, and he hugged her back.
Gwendolyn : I love you, Daddy.
Tyler : I love you too, Gwendolyn.
Meanwhile. . .
9:48 p.m.
Right now, in a small penthouse of an apartment building, on the balcony, was a girl in a black ninja suit, with her jet black hair in long pigtails, pale pink lipstick, and a Obsidian and Rhodonite Jeweled Necklace ( Rhodonite is a Pink Gemstone )
That girl was Obsidian Lancaster. . .
Right now, she was standing on the balcony of the penthouse, looking at the view of Ninjago City, as she sighed and was thinking to herself, just when somebody came outside.
Person : Obsidian?
She turned around, and saw her Grandmother Lilly standing behind her.
Obsidian : Hi, Gramma.
Lilly : Are you okay?
Obsidian : No, it's the start to another year without my Daddy, I know my Mama is trying to keep me happy, but, this isn't what I want, I don't want anything expensive, or for her to avoid working so much just to spend time with me... I... I want my Daddy back, I loved him, more than anything... and, I didn't even get a gift when I turned five years old, I watched him die, and he got shot in the heart... on my birthday.
Lilly pulled her granddaughter into her arms, and carried her, as Obsidian cried on her shoulder.
Lilly : I know Sweetie, your Father was the reason that I'm still here, and I didn't get to say goodbye to my son, and neither did your grandfather, I know you watched it happen, and it hurt you more than I could have imagined, and I'm sorry for that, but your mother, grandfather and I are still here, and I know things can't ever be the same without your father, but your my little granddaughter, and I want you to be happy.
Obsidian lightly smiled as she cried on her grandmother's shoulder, and Lilly kissed her cheek.
Obsidian : I love you. . .
Lilly : I love you too.
Just then, thunder struck and Obsidian saw a lightning bolt in the distance and Opal came outside.
Opal : It's about time for bed, Siddie.
Obsidian let go of her grandmother, and Opal grabbed her daughter and carried her.
Opal walked inside, and despite her daughter not being scared of Thunderstorms, Opal decided to have her daughter sleep with her, since she wanted to be close to her.
After about ten minutes, Opal was in bed, and she had her daughter in her pajamas, lying down next to her.
Obsidian : You didn't have to do any of this over the past few years for me.
Opal : I know Siddie, but your father and I, we only ever wanted you to be happy, and while It may not ever be possible again I'm willing to give you whatever you need, just for you to smile.
Obsidian : Gramma and Grandpa came with us, and you were always the one who wanted to be with me... you guys were all I ever needed.
Opal saw her daughter smile at her, and tears left her eyes as she hugged her, and kissed her daughter's cheek, before turning the light off
Obsidian : I love you, Mama.
Opal : I love you too, Obsidian.
Meanwhile. . .
On an Island, that was covered by a large thunderstorm cloud, there were villages on the island, but in the middle of it was a large palace.
Inside the Palace, in the throne room was a girl wearing a dark yellow dress, who just walked past Aliya, acting like she was never there.
on the throne was a man with a gray beard, and graying long black hair, and he looked at the girl.
Man : Thora, what news do you bring me?
Princess Thora : Grandfather Taranis, the storm has begun, and with each strike will being a message that the masters are destined to find, they will soon be brought to your home, for your plan to go underway.
Lord Taranis : Good. . . Aliya?
Princess Aliya : No signs of any trouble from nearby friendly villages, Grampa... I only hope to soon have what I've always been waiting for.
Lord Taranis : I saved your spirit for a reason, great-grandchild, you will stand with him again, I assure you.
Aliya nodded and then she walked away with Alvaro.
Lord Taranis : As for you Thora, you know Gorin has had his plans for you to attend to, I will not keep you from doing so.
Princess Thora : Yes, great-grandfather.
Lord Taranis : Alvaro.
Alvaro : Yes, Grandfather?
Lord Taranis : Tell me, you are ready.
Alvaro : Yes, I will head to Ninjago for the last piece of the puzzle, and ensure your great-grandson receives your message, and I will ensure Grandmother Cynthia is protected from the outer villages of our enemies.
Lord Taranis : Good, then leave me be.
Alvaro leaves the room with Aliya, and Taranis smiles to himself, before he stands up from his throne and walks up a staircase to look out the large window and listens to the rain.
Lord Taranis : My Granddaughter. . . I hope you and the secrets your friends have kept, will one day protect all of Ninjago. . .
That seems to be it for the major characters that will appear, this story was mainly to tease every major character that would appear in the Elemental Legion, as they will start making greater appearances in the first few chapters.
The Elemental Legion is going to be a completely new villain, with a few returning old ones who fight by their side, and some smaller enemies in this story will soon rise for plans of their own, but for how this entire trilogy will play out, everybody will have to wait and see, as this year of Fanfiction will be much bigger than my last one...
