Review responses:

I am glad to all of those who have enjoyed it.

Mystogan will still be in the story. Lisanna and Happy are truly dead to those who were wondering.

Someone I admired known as Mr. Narrative on Fanfiction as read and enjoyed the first chapter. I hope he likes this chapter as well.

Thinking

It was early the next morning the sun had just finished coming over the horizon in the east. Natsu admired the forest around him in the early morning glow, he could feel the life around him. Natsu seemed to be in tune with his instincts more than ever lately. Since he had unlocked his new flames and his dragon flames changed, he had felt his connection to his instincts grow as well. His connection to his instincts was always been stronger than most because of his dragon-slaying magic. As his instincts grew so did his appreciation of nature and all the life, he could feel in it.

It is because of this he walked at such a calm steady pace through the forest on his way to the guild. As he walked through the town of Magnolia, he had his hood down a neutral but slightly stern look on his face. Many in the town recognized the young man and were shocked by his personality and wardrobe changes. He had also grown a few inches while he was away standing taller than both Mirajane and Erza now but still a couple of inches below Laxus.

As Natsu made it to the Fairy Tail guild hall. He placed his hand on the doors and pushed them open. He stepped in once the doors were fully open, he took a quick glance around the guild and noticed that the only people there were Mirajane who was behind the bar, and Makarov who was sitting on the bar, he looked to be finishing up his breakfast.

Both turned to the guild entrance when they heard the door and saw Natsu standing there. Mirajane gained a small but true smile as she looked at the dragon slayer. Makarov noticed her smile but didn't comment as he looked at the boy. He had gotten a good look yesterday, but he wanted to make sure of this. He could see the boy had grown in height, but he could see, even with the cloak on, that the boy's shoulders had gotten broader. The broadening could only happen with intense physical training.

Makarov nodded to himself. Natsu had not only been training in his magic but his physical body as well. Many mages if they don't have physical magic tend to neglect that training but Natsu seemed to be doing quite well in that regard.

"Natsu my boy, sit with me a moment, then we can have our private meeting," Makarov called the boy over.

Natsu gave the man a neutral look but nodded nevertheless and his way over to the short man. Natsu took a seat to the man's left and looked up at Mirajane who was standing right in front of him. Natsu's expression softened slightly when his eyes landed on her form. Both Makarov and Mirajane noticed this, Mirajane felt a warmth flood through her knowing she could get the newly serious dragon slayer to soften his expression. Makarov looked between the two, from Natsu's current expression and Mirajane's smile from earlier, something must have happened between the two. He won't interfere though, what they had was their business.

"Mirajane, good morning," Natsu said lightly.

"Good morning to you, Natsu," Mira said brightly. "What can I get for you?"

"Some flaming meat would be nice."

Mirajane gained a mischievous look in her eye. "Even with all your changes you still eat the same food." Before Natsu could comment she cut him off. "I'm glad, you are still are the same deep down." With that Mirajane walked away to make his food. Natsu stared at her as she walked away. His eyes started to dip to the round and bouncy back end of the beautiful white-haired mage before he caught himself and shook his head. Natsu heard a snort, he froze and slowly turned himself to look at the only other person in the guild. Makarov was looking at Natsu with eyes filled with mirth.

"Not one word," Natsu growled out.

"Fine…" Makarov sighed out. "It warms my heart a little bit that you are making a connection with someone new."

Natsu just grunted and looked away. Makarov chuckled at his actions. That is when Mirajane reappeared with his flaming meet. She had a look of slight confusion when she saw the master chuckling while Natsu was looking in the opposite direction grumbling about something.

She placed the plate in front of him. He made looked at her and nodded. "Thanks, Mirajane."

She shook her head at that, "You don't need to call me by my full name Natsu, you can just call me Mira." She told him with that small smile and a slight blush on her face. 'Oh, I hope he doesn't think I'm forcing something between us.' She panicked in her head.

Natsu looked at her with a slightly surprised expression. But he just nodded his head in affirmation as he dug into his food.

Both Mirajane and Makarov were in shock that Natsu seemed to change how he ate as well. He ate with as much vigor as before but know not a spec of food went anywhere but his mouth. He made no mess whatsoever.

Within 3 minutes Natsu had finished the food and the first true smile filled his face as he leaned back. "I have to say, Mira, you have made the best food I have ever tasted." He complimented the girl.

She blushed at his praise and quickly turned around so he couldn't see it. "T-thank you Natsu." She stuttered out. A whimsical smile slowly spread across her face as she was still turned away. She hands-on her cheeks so she wouldn't squeal.

Natsu had a look of confusion by the actions he could see. Makarov just shook his head in complete shock at what he was witnessing. The former demon of Fairy Tail had feelings for the resident dragon slayer. While the once seemingly oblivious dragon slayer was showing some non-platonic affection back. The boy's eyes even wandered! Makarov had thought he had seen everything, but this took the cake.

"Natsu let's head to my office," Makarov said as he jumped from to bar and started walking in the direction of his office. Natsu got up and was right behind the short man. Makarov opened his office door and ushered the boy inside. He then closed the door and walked around his desk to sit in his chair. Once he got comfortable, he looked at Natsu directly in his eyes.

"You didn't tell me everything about what happened when you fought the wyvern. I want to hear the rest of the story." Makarov spoke like it was a request like Natsu could actually turn it down when it was truly a command.

Natsu held the man's gaze as they stared at each other. After a few moments, Natsu nodded his head, and began telling Makarov the details of the job and how during the fight he had unlocked his new white flames. He even revealed how his magic pool expanded as well as the coloring of his dragon flames.

"Can you show these new flames to me?" Makarov asked with a raised eyebrow. He had heard of different colored flames before. That wasn't new, what was new was the color Natsu said his flames were. There has never been an instance of magical flames being the color white.

Natsu nodded as he lifted his right and encased it in white fire. Makarov watched the flames taking in every detail.

"They don't give off any magic, but I can feel the intense heat and power from here." He commented as he studied the flames.

"Yeah, I noticed that as well. I also learned these flames are like an extension of my will." Natsu informed the man.

"Extension of you will?" Makarov now looking at Natsu as he raised a single eyebrow.

"These flames don't work like my dragon flames or other fire magic I have seen. Even after I cast the flames, I can still command them. There has been nothing these flames couldn't consume, be it random objects, flesh, even magic." Natsu revealed.

Makarov's eyes widened, "Even magic?" he questioned.

Natsu just nodded. Makarov's mind was going a mile a minute, flames that could consume all the wielder wanted was quite the strong power.

"Can you tell me about your trip?" Makarov finally asked the boy.

Natsu nodded and went over his training trip by telling Makarov about some of the jobs he took to help the towns and villages he visited.

When he was done Makarov just nodded and looked right at Natsu. "I have decided, I will nominate you for the S-class trials," Makarov revealed. Natsu gained a grin. It wasn't like his normal ones Makarov noted, this grin looked almost evil.

"That's good to hear old man, you said they are in two weeks?" Natsu asked.

"Yes, I will announce the other nominees and the location in a week, you and I will head there with the other S-class nominees and wizards," Makarov informed the boy.

Natsu only nodded absentmindedly. His thoughts were elsewhere thinking about how to prepare.

They left the office 10 minutes later after Makarov got some more of his questions answered. The guild had filled considerably by this time. Many looked over to see Natsu and Makarov coming out of the master's office. Many noticed the assured look Makarov had and the almost evil grin Natsu had.

"Hey! What's got you grinning like that flame brain?" Gray called out as he noticed Natsu's grin.

Natsu looked in his direction, his first instinct was to retort to the stripping ice mage but decided against it. He caught Mira's eye, she gave him a smile, so he decided to mosey on over to her.

Gray was fuming but Natsu's complete disregard of him. He stormed towards Natsu who had just sat down in front of Mirajane.

"Oi! Ash for brains, one sucker punch and you think you're better than me!" Gray yelled out as he came up behind Natsu. He grabbed one of Natsu's shoulders and spun him around on the barstool. Natsu looked at Gray with a passive expression but there was a twinge of annoyance in his eyes.

"Let go of me, Gray," Natsu said with an edge in his voice.

"No, you have been acting like hot shit since you came back yesterday, and I am sick of your attitude," Gray said as he got up in Natsu's face. Natsu's right eye twitched, as a voice in the back of his mind told him to burn Gray to ash.

"Let's take this outside," is all Natsu said before he kicked Gray across the guild. Natsu got to his feet and head for the back door to the sparring area the guild had.

The rest of the guild was shocked by what was happening. They all quickly got up to follow after Natsu. Gray was in front of the group as he had gotten back to his feet and ran after Natsu.

Natsu and Gray stood opposite of each other in the sparring ground. They were roughly 15 meters apart. Each was staring the other down, Gray with a look of anger and frustration, Natsu with a passive look that had a stern twist.

Cana was on the edge of the sparring ground taking bets on who would win. The guild was split evenly on who would win. Mira secretly placed a bet on Natsu, Makarov didn't place any. He knew Natsu would win this because of his recent increase in power and training. He was going to use this fight to see how Natsu's fighting style changed though.

"Alright!" Makarov called out. "This is a friendly sparring match, no maiming your opponent, and no killing blows. And Begin!"

Gray got in his maker stance as Natsu didn't move an inch. Gray started charging up his magic. "Ice-Make Lance!" Gray calls out as he launches the 3 different ice lances at the passive dragon slayer. Natsu doesn't even move his body as he watches the lances fly at him with a bored expression. When the lances were within 10 feet of him Natsu flared his magical power, which increased the heat in the vicinity, and everyone felt the dramatic rise in temperature because of Natsu's magic. Many began to sweat from the drastic increase in temperature.

The lances looked like they hit a wall by the way they stopped midair. They evaporated into nothing within a second of stopping. Many eyes widened at the sudden dispersal of the spell. None had seen any fire magic so strong before.

"Well shit," Cana commented out as she looked on.

"Natsu's a real MAN!" Elfman yelled out impressed by the display.

Mirajane was shocked by the output of magic. She glanced at Makarov who made eye contact with her for a brief moment with a single nod of his head before he turned back to the dueling mages. Both were the only ones who noticed the output Natsu was giving off was currently slightly above what Mira and Erza could give off. Both were shocked by how far Natsu had come in the 6 months he had been gone.

Natsu raised an eyebrow at the stunned ice mage. "Is that all?" Natsu drawled out with a slight smirk.

"Grrrrr," Gray growled out "Not by a long shot! Ice make Hammer!" Gray yelled out as a huge ice hammer appeared above him. He slammed it down aiming at Natsu. Natsu just looked up at it as he raised his arm to full extension above his head and made a fist. The second the ice hammer made contact it shattered into nothingness.

Gray stared wide-eyed at how his spell was destroyed so easily. Natsu gained a bored look on his face. "Well Snowflake, that all you got?" Natsu questioned.

Gray exploded in anger and began calling upon another spell.

While those two continued their fight as two new mages appeared to watch the show. The first was the blonde lightning mage was sitting on the roof watching the action. A smirk on his face as he watched Natsu absolutely dominate Gray. He knew something would change about the dragon slayer after he left for his mission and didn't come back but this was above his expectations.

The second mage was the one and only Erza Scarlet who had just gotten back from a job. She had walked into an empty guild and heard the commotion outside. She had witnessed Natsu destroying the ice hammer Gray had made. She then quickly made her way over to Makarov and Mirajane.

"Master! What is going on here?" Erza half asked half demanded.

Makarov looked at her, "Ah! Erza welcome back, how was your job." Makarov said trying to distract the confrontational girl for even a moment.

"It went well I took care of the bandits in the area swiftly. I then heard the townspeople gossip about how Natsu has returned and is different. I rushed here as quick as I could to see him. And when I get here, I see him and Gray fighting. Why would you allow that?" was Erza's rant.

"This isn't like their normal brawls Erza, this is a proper sparing match. Natsu has become quite strong these past few months and his attitude has changed as well. Just watch the match and you will see what I am talking about." Makarov explained to the authoritative redhead.

Erza stared at Makarov for a moment before her eyes jumped to Mirajane who was half paying attention to their conversation and was keeping her eyes on the sparring match. Erza then sighed out and turned her full attention to the match. She promised herself she would step in if needed.

"Ice make Arrows!" Gray shouted as he launched another ice spell at the dragon slayer. Natsu finally does something disappearing from where he was standing with a burst of speed. The arrows harmlessly flew away from the field. Gray's eyes widen as Natsu disappeared. Only 4 mages saw where Natsu went.

Natsu reappeared behind Gray and planted a kick into the center of the ice mage's back sending him away from where he was standing. Gray hit the ground rolling for a few seconds before he got back to his feet looking at Natsu.

"Is this all you've got Gray? Have you not improved at all this past half year? If not then this is just a big waste of my time." Natsu said to the fuming ice mage.

"ICE-MAKE LANCE!" Gray hollered out as he put most of his remaining magic behind this attack. A giant ice lance bigger than both Natsu and Grey combined appeared and launched itself at Natsu. Many were shocked by this attack. Erza was about to interfere when Makarov put his hand in front of her and told her to wait.

Natsu gained a dark grin as he saw the size of the lance. If he was as strong as he was six months ago that could have caused some serious damage but now it was just an annoyance. He lifted his arms up above his head and coated them in his crimson dragon flames. The output was like his old 100 percent but now it was only 15 percent.

"Wing attack." Is all Natsu said as he slashed his arms down as two waves of flames launched at the lance, shattering it as the waves continued on their path to the ice mage who couldn't move because of exhaustion.

Many yelled at him to move but Gray couldn't, but that is when Makarov appeared before the ice mage putting up a defensive spell to block the attack.

There was a slight explosion. When the dust began to settle many saw Makarov and Gray were fine and sighed in relief, but Natsu, Erza, Mirajane, and Laxus saw was that spell pushed Makarov back a good 10 feet even with the defensive barrier spell he used.

Natsu smirked at that, but his instincts quickly told him to dodge. He moved his head to the side and a sword pierced through the air where his neck just was. Natsu turned his head slightly to see the seething Erza Scarlet holding the sword that just tried to stab his neck.

"Natsu! What is wrong with you?!" Erza yelled out.

"Oh? Is there a problem here Erza?" Natsu asked casually like he didn't have a sword aimed at his neck.

"Problem?! That attack could have killed Gray!" She continued to yell at Natsu preparing to give him a just punishment.

"That wouldn't have killed him, he just would've wished to be dead because of the pain." Natsu comment with that new dark grin growing on his face. Everyone flinched hearing Natsu's explanation and seeing that new dark grin on his face.

Erza was dumbfounded by Natsu's words. He had never said something like that before. He wasn't one to cause unneeded pain. She felt pressure on her sword and saw that Natsu had grabbed it. His grin widened as he pulled the sword forward along with an unprepared Erza.

Before she could even react Natsu sent a brutal kick right to her chest plate denting it and causing her to let go of the sword as she rocketed back. She quickly oriented herself and landed in a crouch position as she skidded back a few extra feet.

She made eye contact with Natsu who held her sword in front of himself and lit his hand on fire. He within seconds the metal of the sword began to melt. Within 5 seconds Natsu had melted the sword into a pile of metal sludge on the ground. He threw the handle of the sword to Erza who caught it. She was giving Natsu such a deadly glare that if looks could kill Natsu would be dead 10 times over.

"If you want to fight so bad Erza, you should have said something," Natsu's dark grin split across his face.

Erza got back to her feet. "Flame Empress Armor." She called and she was surrounded by a white light as her armor changed. She soon appeared in her new armor which as the ability to use fire and reduce the opponent's flame attacks by 50%.

"Ho? Getting serious? I might as well. You could give me an interesting fight." Natsu commented as he grabbed his cloak and whipped it off himself. Many were shocked by Natsu's new body. Many had noticed he had gained a few inches, but the cloak hid the rest of his body and clothing away. Everyone got a full view of Natsu's new form. His black vest was gone to be replaced by nothing; everyone got a good view of Natsu's new muscled upper body that was halfway to Laxus's body. His white scarf had been moved to his waist to be worn as a belt. Around a pair of new black short pants that ended at just below his knees like his old white short pants. And unlike his white ones these black ones didn't tie off where they ended. Natsu was still barefoot as he was still trying to work on his flight and thrusting with flames on his feet.

Mirajane was trying her best not to get a nosebleed from seeing Natsu with his new stronger body. There was a healthy blush on her cheeks though. The only one who saw it though was Elfman who looked between his older sister and Natsu. He looked between them for a few seconds before his eyes widened when he figured out the reason. He then nodded his head a few times and decided to speak with Natsu man to man when the fight was over.

With a burst of speed Natsu appeared next to Mirajane and handed her his cloak which she took without much thought, he gave her his old grin which made her and others widen their eyes in shock before his grin turned dark again as he shot back to where he stood before.

"Are you ready Erza?" Natsu asked as he rolled his shoulders knowing he was going to need to put a bit more effort into this fight than the last, not much but some.

Erza scowled at this new attitude that Natsu had gained. She rushed forward her sword poised to strike as Natsu. He was standing in a relaxed pose waiting for her to get closer. He wanted to make sure she couldn't dodge. When she was 10 meters away, Natsu took in a deep breath. Many knew what spell that meant. Erza realized too but she was moving too fast towards him, and it was too late to dodge or stop.

"ROAR!" Natsu bellowed out as a straight beam of crimson flames shot towards the read-headed knight of Fairy Tail. She lifted her arms to block, but when the flames hit, she felt the heat and power full force. It was like her armor's ability wasn't working.

Erza screamed out in pain, scaring the other members of the guild, from hearing Erza screaming.

"Natsu! STOP!" Makarov yelled out. He felt how much power Natsu put into that attack. It was double the magical output Erza could put out.

Natsu cut the attack and when the flames disappeared, everyone was given the sight of Erza with her armor melting off of her body with slight burns covering her. She was panting from the heat and pain. She grit her teeth as she scowled at Natsu, who had gained a smirk looking at her.

"What's wrong Erza can't handle the heat," Natsu said a bit mockingly. "If that doesn't put you down then how about this," Natsu then lit both hands ablaze. He then brought them together above his head, the flames combined and formed a huge fireball. Erza seeing the large fire attack quickly switched to her Sea Empress armor to have even a slight advantage against that attack.

Everyone could feel the heat of the attack, everyone had broken out in a sweat from it. Even Makarov and Laxus had some perspiration on their foreheads. Laxus's smirk widened as he looked upon this new stronger Natsu. Finally, someone strong and willing to show it in the guild.

Makarov was in a slight panic. That attack had the magical output of something Laxus could pull off. Erza was strong but even she and Mirajane together couldn't match Laxus. And now Natsu was outputting that level of strength.

"Here it comes Erza," Natsu announced, "Brilliant Flame!" he yelled out as he launched the attack at the armor-wearing mage. She tried to make a water-based defensive barrier, but the second the attack it the water, a large portion of water disappeared into vapor. The fireball kept heading right to Erza, she was too shocked to move. Makarov quickly rushed to the girl and grabbed her to get them out of the way.

The fireball continued until it hit the ocean causing a huge cloud of steam to appear from the amount of water that was evaporated.

Everyone could only stare at where the attack landed, then all eyes move to launch the attack. Natsu didn't even remotely look tired.

"Natsu!" Makarov yelled out actual anger appearing in his voice. "Why would you use an attack like that she is a member of our guild."

Natsu looked over to him, "You care about what I do but not the others?"

This question threw everyone off, it was from out of nowhere that everyone looked confused. Only three people knew what Natsu meant.

Laxus knowing why Natsu had asked the question and was laughing on the inside from the opportunity this brought him finally decided to let himself be known. "He's got you there gramps," Laxus said as he jumped off the roof. "Why is it when others act shitty to him or beat him up you let it slide, but when he decides to fight back, you yell at him for taking it too far."

Many were shocked by the sight of Laxus, but they are all confused by Laxus's words. Makarov sent a glare in Laxus's direction, Laxus was bringing up the double standard he had accidentally instilled. Mirajane knowing what he was about looked between the three men worried about what was to come.

Natsu sent Laxus a questioning look. Wondering why the lightning mage had decided to defend him. Laxus saw the look and chuckled. He then looked at the rest of the members and a slight scowled appeared as he made his way towards Natsu and stood next to the fire dragon slayer.

"Obviously you all don't know what I'm talking about." Laxus started, "Many of you laughed at him or called him a liar when he said he was raised by a dragon. Or when he couldn't read or write our language. I never once thought he was a liar because I believe him." Laxus announced shocking the others. "Only way to use dragon slaying magic is through being taught by a dragon or a lacrima being implanted in you. Natsu doesn't have the second so he had to have been taught by a dragon. Also, what dragon would know our language? Of course, he wouldn't know how to read or write. Now for my second point, you let Erza and Mirajane kick the shit out of Natsu, but now that he is strong enough to fight back, you wish to discipline him. Yeah, I can't let you do that Gramps." Laxus finished his rant.

Many were shocked by the words Laxus said, had they really been that ignorant and hurtful to the once always smiling dragon slayer. They all looked to Makarov to see if Laxus was telling the truth or not. He glared at his grandson and sighed and nodded his head.

"You have made a decent argument Laxus, I won't do anything to Natsu over this." Makarov conceded knowing that if he did anything it would just make Natsu feel even more alienated.

Laxus smirked and looked to Natsu who was looking at him, questions in his eyes. "You've caught my interest, make sure you become S-class in two weeks," Laxus said as he disappeared in a flash of lightning.

Natsu decided he had enough of people today as he walked over to Mirajane grabbed his cloak thanked her for holding onto it and walked away. He needed to get away from the guild. He had been back two days and he wanted to go on another journey.

Many looked after him, after hearing Laxus defend Natsu and Makarov concede many started to look back on how they treated the dragon slayer, and many weren't liking what they were remembering. Mirajane had a sad look on her face as she too had been hurtful to Natsu both mentally and physically. She wanted to make up for the pain she had caused Natsu but didn't know-how. She decided she needed time to think so she went back to work in the guild. What she didn't know was that Elfman had been watching her reactions. He waited till the rest went inside and followed after Natsu.

He found Natsu in a tavern, drink in one hand, eating flaming meat with the other. Elfman sat in the seat across from Natsu a serious look on his face. Natsu looked up at him and they stared at each other for a few moments.

Finally Elfman spoke, "What are your feelings regarding my sister?" He asked Natsu point-blank.

Natsu was surprised but only raised an eyebrow at the takeover mage. "Why are you asking me that kind of question?"

"I believe Mira has feelings for you,"

Natsu's eyes widened at this. He didn't know what to do with this information.

"The reason I am telling you and inquiring about your feelings is that I don't want her to feel any more pain. If you don't feel the same or plan to hurt her, I don't care how strong you have gotten I will break you." Elfman threatened.

Natsu sat there for a moment digesting the revealment of Mirajane's feelings and the threat Elfman just gave him. Natsu didn't hold it against Elfman for making the threat he would do the same in his position.

Natsu looked at him with a serious expression, "I don't know what my feelings are yet. I have started to feel something new when interacting with her. I don't know what it is yet, I won't do anything rash with her until I know. That work for you?" Even though it was Elfman's foolishness that caused Lisanna's and Happy's deaths he wasn't one of the many that looked down on Natsu. Even now the man wanted to be strong enough to protect his remaining sister. He even knew Natsu was way stronger than him but still made the threat to protect his sister. He earned Natsu respect for that alone.

Elfman looked Natsu in the eye and nodded. "Yeah, that's fine. Take time to figure out your feelings. You're not being rash, that is the manly thing to do. I won't stop you from seeing her though. You make her smile I won't take that away from her." Elfman said as he stood up. Natsu stood up after him and held his hand out.

"Hurting her is the last thing I want," Natsu said with nothing but conviction in his voice. Elfman gained a smirk at that and took Natsu's hand in his own and gave a firm shake.

With that Elfman walked out of the tavern. He could respect Natsu for his new power and personality he was also Lisanna's best friend and someone dear to Mira's heart. Natsu was someone he could leave Mira to.

Scene change

The sun had just reached its highest point when a figure entered the port town of Hargeon. This figure stood roughly 5'10 in height, they were wearing a full-body length black haori. The haori was sleeveless and showed the strong tan arms of the figure. The haori ended at the figure's Achilles tendon, the haori also had a hood that was currently sitting atop the figure's head hiding their face. On the back of the cloak was a large white Fairy Tail guild mark centered in the in-between the shoulder blades. Under the haori, the figure had a skintight crimson red tank top. It showed off his impressive chest and abs. On their wrists were matching crimson wrist bands. They wore a pair of black martial arts gi pants that had a white scale patterned scarf used as a belt and each pant leg was tattered near the end. Where the pants ended you could see the beginning of crimson red athletic tape that started at the upper ankle on both feet and ended right where his toes began.

The figure lifted its head to the sky and took in a good sniff. They could smell their target in the town. Under the cover of the hood, the figure gained a dark grin. The hunt was almost over.

A buxom blonde was currently grumbling to themselves. "Is my sex appeal only worth 1000 jewels." She whined to herself. The blonde had tried to get a discount on a celestial spirit key and the shop owner only knocked 1000 jewels off the price.

That is when she started to hear some girls squeal as a couple ran down the street in front of her.

"Did you hear?! The Devil of Fairy Tail is here!" One said the other as they ran.

"Devil of Fairy Tail! You mean one of the strongest if not their strongest S-class mages?" the other replied.

"Yeah let's go see him!" with that they turned a corner and were gone.

The busty blonde looked after them for a second before what they said went through her mind. "Devil of Fairy Tail, they mean one of the strongest fire mages in all of Fiore with fire magic that can't be bought or taught?" She then grew excited this might be my way to get into Fairy Tail she thought to herself as she ran after the girls.

After a few moments, the blonde girl caught up to the girls she was following and found a figure surrounded by a large group of girls, all screaming trying to get his attention. There in the middle of the crowd of girls showed a figure 6'0 in height. He had dark blue slightly spikey hair and a black cursive x tattoo above his right eyebrow. He wore a high color dark purple cape that fell to just below his waist. Under the cape, the man had a white short-sleeved dress shirt. He had on loose red dress pants and black dress shoes. The man had a charismatic look on his face as he flaunted himself in front of the women.

"Ladies, ladies I there is enough of me for all of you." He scanned the crowd making sure that every girl could catch a glimpse of him.

The blonde when she finally got a good look at him felt a wave of warmth flow through her. She felt her heartbeat begin to increase as well. 'What, what is this feeling?' she asked herself. 'Could, could this be love?' she asked herself another question. Unknown to her is that she gained hearts in her eyes like the other girls in the vicinity looking at the 'Devil'.

The busty blonde saw some slight movement opposite of her position and saw a figure in a black haori with an attached hood covering their face. When she looked at the figure the effects, she had from looking at the 'Devil' disappeared in an instant. 'Charm magic.' The blonde mage thought to herself.

"So," a gruff voice drawled out. "You are the Devil of Fairy Tail." Everyone's attention was brought to the hooded figure.

The 'Devil' flinched but quickly hid it as he turned to the hooded figure. "Yes, I am stranger. I am the Devil."

The hooded figure's hood tilted a little bit like they were studying the man. "Really because I am a member of Fairy Tail. "The figure said as they turned their body to show the red Fairy Tail guild mark on their right shoulder. The cape wearer started to get nervous, as sweat appeared on his forehead. "In fact, you look like a wanted man. Yeah, you look like Bora the Prominence, the slave trafficker." The hooded man continued.

The blonde was shocked by this revelation. She then realized why this man was using charm magic. He wanted to capture the group of women.

The now named Bora jumped backlighting his hands-on fire with standard orange flames. "Take this!" he yelled out as he sent a beam of fire at the hooded figure. The girls surrounding the man screamed and ran away when seeing a fire blast being launched so close. Only the blonde girl didn't run away. The figure only raised his hand the flames that were launched at the hooded figure culminated there. The hooded figure was holding the fire that had just been launched at him.

Bora looked at this in shock his attack had been caught. The blonde girl was also shocked by what she was seeing. This hooded figure who revealed themselves to be a Fairy Tail mage had caught the fire attack.

The figure looked at the condensed ball of flames in his hand and raised it to his hood opening and ate the flames.

"Ugh, I knew those flames would taste awful. I just didn't think they would taste that bad." The hooded commented as he wiped his hands of the flames.

"W-who are you?" Bora asked fearfully as he started to back away.

The hooded figure began to chuckle. "What do you mean? Shouldn't you recognize the person you are trying to impersonate?" The figure said with light amusement in his tone.

Bora's face became one of pure utter terror. The hooded figure before him was the REAL Devil of Fairy Tail.

The figure reached him and gripped the man around his neck and lifted him into the air. The temperature in the area started to rise rapidly. All around them were sweating profusely, many couldn't breathe properly. Just as many passed out from the level of magical power the Devil was giving off. The blonde girl dropped to her knees barely staying conscious.

Bora looked like he was ready to faint as well, but the hooded figure squeezed the man's throat for a second. The pain and sudden lack of air caused the man to become fully aware again.

"Now," the hooded Devil began. "You are going to take me where your ship is. If you don't comply, I will incinerate you. Your wanted poster did say dead or alive after all." Bora could hear the dark grin the hooded figure had while speaking.

Bora though couldn't speak. The man had his throat in too tight of a grip. This was noticed by the devil. "Blink twice if you understand."

Bora quickly blinked twice. He was then promptly dropped on his ass. "Good," The hooded Devil dropped his magical pressure. Many taking in deep breaths as they tried to calm down. The Devil took in the area to make sure no one was dead. His hood turning as he looked in scanned. His hood stopped as it was aimed directly at the busty blonde. The figure was stunned as he saw the girl. "Anna…" they whispered out. Only Bora and the girl heard him though.

She had regained just enough of her bearing to send the man a confused and slightly fearful look knowing who this man was. "M-my name is L-lucy. The girl said to him politely not wanting to anger the man.

The figure shook his head. 'Of course, a descendent' the man thought. 'She looks so much like her though.' He then took in her full appearance. She had blonde hair put into a side tail, with the same warm chocolate brown eyes as Anna. Her outfit included the white and blue sleeveless top that showed off her ample chest. The short blue mini skirt and knee-high black boots. The figure could see the keys she had on her hip. 'She is a celestial mage as well.'

"You said your name was Lucy?" the hooded figure asked. The girl nodded dumbly at the question. "You will be coming with me as well." The man said in a commanding tone.

The girl now named Lucy was shocked by this. The Devil of Fairy Tail wanted him to come with him. She had no idea what to think.

"Uh… why?" she asked confused and fearfully.

"Because you have piqued my interest."

"A-alright," she stuttered out still confused.

"Good," the man said as he bent down and grabbed Bora by the foot and started dragging the man away. "Follow me." Lucy just looked after the man for a few seconds trying to comprehend the situation. "Hurry up girl!" He yelled out a block away already.

"C-coming!" the girl yelled out as she followed after him.

10 minutes later they were standing before Bora's ship. The hooded figure stood before the ship Bora and Lucy stood a few yards behind him. The Devil then flared his magical power.

"All those on the ship!" He ordered. "Disembark! If you do not, I will set the ship ablaze with you all still on it."

The crew feeling his power quickly disembarked. Before they had a chance to run away the man-made a 20-foot-tall wall of crimson fire surrounding the group. He then placed one hand on the ship in front of him.

"Consume" with the one-word command. The ship was set ablaze in a bright white fire. In seconds the ship was no more. The group looked at the Devil with nothing but awe or fear.

Feeling the magical power coming near the man dropped the flame wall. Once the flames were gone the thing surrounding the group was Rune Knights.

"Halt by order of the magic council!" The leader commanded.

The hooded Devil walked towards the man. The leader of the knights saw him, and a look of recognition came to his face.

"Ah, Lord Devil. I see you are here. Can you explain what is going on here?" The head knighted asked respectfully.

"Yeah, this is Bora and his group. The blonde girl is with me. Deal the traders as you wish." The Devil said nonchalantly.

"Alright, thank you for your assistance. I will make sure to tell the council in my report the only damage caused to capture them was the destruction of their ship. The kingdom thanks you." The head knight said with a small bow which other knights followed.

The Devil nodded at his words. "Yo, Lucy with me."

Lucy snapped out of her stupor and ran over to him. "Yes?"

"Let's get something to eat and I can explain some things." The Devil said as he started walking away.

"R-right," Lucy said as she followed after him.

30 minutes later they are in a popular restaurant in Hargeon. The Devil was calmly eating his large meal. Lucy was shocked by the amount of food the man had ordered but didn't comment not wanting to offend the man.

Once his food was gone the Devil leaned back and let out a sigh of relaxation. "That was quite good," he commented he then grabbed his hood and pulled it off his head.

Lucy was quite shocked by his face. The man had long spikey salmon-colored hair that fell to his shoulders and bangs that framed his face that fell past his chin. (Think of Natsu's hair after the 1-year time skip) The man had only one eye visible which was a deep onyx color that had hints of green. His right eye was covered by a plain black eye patch. He had a healthy tan on his skin.

"My real name is Natsu Dragneel. The Devil of Fairy Tail is a title I earned a couple years back. I took out some bandit camps and they called me the Devil. The name just stuck. When it was found out I am from Fairy Tail they connected my title to the guild I am a part of, so The Devil of Fairy Tail was born." The now named Natsu Dragneel explained.

Lucy nodded her head absently as she took in this new information.

"Now I have a question for you." He said.

She made eye contact and nodded her head agreeing to the question.

"Are you a celestial mage?"

She was shocked by the question. "H-how could you know that?" she asked.

"I saw your keys and wanted to make sure."

"O-oh…" she said lamely.

"Have you joined a guild?"

"No, not yet."

"Is there one you would like to join?"

"Y-Yes! I would love to join Fairy Tail someday." She said with a smile. Lucy then realized who she just said that to. She looked away in embarrassment a healthy blush appearing on her cheeks.

Natsu began to chuckle. "My, that was adorable how excited she got." He felt a warmth in his chest by seeing her smile like that. It reminded him of Anna. Her embarrassment highly amused him though.

Lucy pouted at his chuckling thinking he was making fun of her. Her cheeks puffed out.

'Now that is just is just too cute.'

"So, you would like to join Fairy Tail?" Natsu asked with an amused smile.

"Y-yeah that has been a dream of mine for a while."

"Alright then, I'll take you to the guild so you can become a member."

"Wah! Really?!" Lucy asked is completely shocked.

"Yeah. I wouldn't joke about something like this." Natsu confirmed as he stood up.

"Thank you!" Lucy yelled out as she launched herself from her seat right into Natsu hugging him tightly. Natsu stilled for a second trying to comprehend the situation. The warmth he felt in his chest that he felt before grew a little bit. He brought his arms up and lightly wrapped them around the blonde girl.

"Your welcome." He said softly.

That is when Lucy's eyes snapped open. She just now realized where she was, she was in his arms while she was hugging him as well. An atomic blush formed across her face. She jumped out of his arms stuttering in embarrassment.

Natsu just chuckled lightly at that. He was going to like having her around.

AN:

And Done. Sorry, this chapter took so long. Started a new job recently, and I am moving. That had taken up a lot of my time lately. I also got stuck on a certain part for a few days.
