Do you know what weakness is? It's a strange word isn't it- it means the lack of strength, it means backing down...it means that you are faulty and not worth it.
As much as I wanted to deny it, Jaune Arc was weak-
No matter what his partner says or his teammates or his friends said, he knew-
Jaune Arc knew he was weak.
He didn't want to accept it, but it was the bitter truth. His teammates encouraged and praised him for killing an Ursa, which after thinking a lot he realized that his partner had helped him out- after all where he could potentially lose his arm, he somehow used his shield to defend himself.
All of his life, the only thing that kept him on going was his will, that maybe- maybe he could become hero just like his ancestors were.
Everyone thinks that they can put up mask- but Jaune knows- he knows, the looks of disappointment, no matter how hard he tried or sparred or trained with his partner, he wasn't getting any better.
So, what Weiss just became a little bit more tolerant of him? So, what if Yang keeps making fun of him? So, what Ruby thinks he's a good friend but not a good hunter? So, what Ren keeps telling him that everything will be fine? So, what Nora says she'll defend the team? So, what if Pyrrha says in due time he will grow?
When will Jaune Arc grow?
Life seemed unfair for Jaune Arc, but that's what life is all about.
However, if life is unfair- it's fair as well...and that day came for Jaune Arc, the day he would destroy destiny, the day he would break shackles- the day he would look at his opponent and say-
"With my greatest weakness- I'll defeat your greatest strength!"
This is the tale of the worst one, the failure- who rose against the so-called destiny, so called opinions of other people and became what he wanted to be.
Interestingly this all began with piece of document called his fake transcripts. Not a tale of betrayal but rather, a tale of confidence, a tale of strength, a tale of heroism, a tale of ideology-
The tale of the Worst One.
