Hello everyone. Thank you for checking this story out and showing your support. I've been away for awhile, due to life complicating things again. Hopefully I'll be able to keep going and continue to write because I love writing these stories and I appreciate all of you so much. With that said, let's get back to it.

Disclaimer: I do not own My Hero Academia or any of the characters.

A few days had gone by since Tsuyu had tried to talk to Midoriya about what she had overheard about him.

She hadn't approached him since then but she would look over at him a few times during classes and their training sessions.

As she sat on her bed, she stared at the floor, thinking.

"I wish that I could find the right time to talk to him but it seems like he's always busy, even more than we are." Tsuyu thought.

She knew that there was more to Midoriya than just what he allowed them to see.

The more Tsuyu had thought about it, the more of a mystery he became.

"He seems to have a lot of conversations with All Might." Tsuyu thought.

"Maybe the teachers are asking him to remain quiet about about something and it's not like they haven't asked us to stay silent about issues before." Tsuyu thought.

Tsuyu frowned as she realized what could have been kept from her, at least for a period of time.

"If I hadn't accepted that offer from Ryukyu then I could've been like everyone else in class who weren't involved in the conflict with Overhaul." Tsuyu thought.

She remembered their reactions from when they had returned to the dorms after it was all over.

"I know that he's hiding more, but I should focus on what those people were saying about him first and maybe then he'll be more honest with me." Tsuyu thought.

A knock on her door interrupted Tsuyu's train of thought and she hesitantly got up to open the door.

As she opened it, she was greeted to the sight of Mina and Midoriya.

"Ribbit." Tsuyu said, in surprise.

"You're welcome!" Mina shouted.

With that, Mina immediately ran away, leaving two very confused people standing in the hallway.

"What just happened?" Tsuyu thought.

"So, Ashido told me that you wanted to say something to me, is everything alright?" Midoriya asked, nervously.

Tsuyu sighed and walked back into her room.

"Come in." Tsuyu said.

Midoriya complied and stepped inside.

As Tsuyu shut the door, she wanted to simultaneously thank and berate Mina.

"I don't know what her goal was but I can worry about her later." Tsuyu thought.

Tsuyu turned her attention back to Midoriya.

"Now, how do I approach the subject?" Tsuyu thought.

"I'm sorry about keeping you waiting, Asui." Midoriya apologized.

"I told you to call me Tsu." Tsuyu automatically responded.

Tsuyu then realized what he had just said.

"What do you mean?" Tsuyu asked.

"Well, you wanted to talk to me the other day but we got interrupted." Midoriya said.

"It's been a few days so I really hope that it wasn't urgent." Midoriya said.

"No it's nothing like that, I just wanted to talk to you about something I overheard about you." Tsuyu said.

Midoriya's expression changed to one of slight worry.

"Did she find out about my quirk?!" Midoriya thought.

Midoriya thought back to each conversation he'd had with All Might on the subject but they always acted carefully when it came to keeping the truth about his quirk a secret.

"She probably doesn't know about that but I wonder what she heard about me." Midoriya thought.

Tsuyu took a breath in an attempt to control her nerves.

Finally, she spoke again.

"A few days ago, I overheard some people talking about you after I got the groceries." Tsuyu said.

"Their words weren't exactly kind." Tsuyu said.

Tsuyu stopped talking for a moment and looked at Midoriya, noticing the look of confusion on his face.

Tsuyu turned to look away before she spoke again.

"Midoriya, were you bullied?" Tsuyu asked.

Midoriya was taken aback by the question and as he went to speak, the words just wouldn't come out.

It took awhile but eventually, Midoriya was able to craft a sentence to say.

"Tsu, what did you hear?" Midoriya asked.

"They talked about how they used to pick on you and how defenseless you were." Tsuyu said.

Midoriya had a melancholic expression on his face as he remembered the ridicule and mockery he had faced for what had been most of his life until he started the hero course.

"They also mentioned something else, something that confused me." Tsuyu said.

Tsuyu walked over to him and placed her hands on his cheeks in order to look directly at him.

"What's going on?" Midoriya thought, anxiously.

"Midoriya, they mentioned something about you being quirkless." Tsuyu told him.

Midoriya's heart began to race as the only emotions that he could feel at the moment were shock and horror.

Tsuyu could tell that Midoriya was about to have a panic attack and moved her hands away from his face in order for him to look away.

Tsuyu quickly wrapped her arms around him and embraced him.

"What have I done?" Tsuyu thought.

Tsuyu carefully guided Midoriya towards the bed for him to sit down and then she sat down beside him.

After a few minutes, Midoriya regained his composure but now his thoughts were focused on the problem at hand and how worrying it was.

"What am I going to do?" Midoriya thought.

"I'm sorry that I brought it up, I should've just minded my own business." Tsuyu said.

"No, it's not your fault, you were just worried." Midoriya said.

Midoriya sighed, knowing that he would have to talk about his past eventually.

"I want you to promise me that you won't tell anyone about this." Midoriya said.

"I promise." Tsuyu said.

Thanks again for reading and I hope that all of you have a great day.
