Guest ( From The Masks of Garmadon and The Glass Princess ) : Trust Me, Montgomery will get the Spotlight, The Elemental Trilogy are stories that will be centered around all Elemental Masters from my stories, with there being over 15 new Elemental Masters introduced, and one of them will grab Montgomery's Attention, and a future story "Tales of Promethieus" will explore everything about that elemental master, and as for Montgomery...
I've been planning on writing a story like that, so I'm surprised somebody guessed it, that same girl that will be centered around in "Tales of Promethieus" will make an appearance from Montgomery's Story, all the way to the end of the trilogy, of course Montgomery's still considered a "Very New" Character as there's still been very little to him since his debut in The Masks of Garmadon, so don't worry, his time will come a lot sooner than you think.
Chapter 2 : New Girl in Ninjago
In Ninjago City, there was a Blue SUV driving down the streets of the city, and in the car was a couple that seemed to be in their early 40s, and in the backseat was a young girl with Long Jet Black Hair ( In the same style as Vania, after she decided to ally with the Ninja and was with Cole beneath the Mountain ) Light Pink Lipstick, and Lightly Pale White Skin, wearing a White Long Sleeved Shirt that had a hood, and had Dark Blue accents in a "Dripping Paint Style" on the top half of the shirt, and Black Pants, Blue Shoes, and Dark Blue Denim Overalls, and she had a White Cat, that had blue eyes.
Man : I really hope this sort of job will work out for me.
Woman : I'm sure it will Jonah.
Jonah : If you say so, Ally.
Ally : You okay back there, Milly?
Milly : I'm fine, Mama.
Milly was part of the Emerson Family, and for some reason, her family was interesting in Magic, as a career, since her great-grandparents and her grandfather had done magic as a career, and so did her Mother, since she was a Magician, but in Milly's Case, it was power, since she was the Elemental Master of Magic.
Milly was never sure of where her power came from, but since her ancestors actually used a Spellbook that was passed down in their family, that was her best guess, on how they became a true element.
The Car kept driving, and Milly saw they were heading towards their new home.
Milly : We're heading towards a whole new chapter in our lives, Moonlight.
Milly's Kitten, Moonlight had purred, and laid on Milly's Lap, while she pet her.
The car stopped on the side of the road, of a Corner Building that looked like a Cafe to Milly's Eyes, and they got out of the car and stretched, before walking inside, Milly noticed the Cafe was connected to the space above it, meaning they would live upstairs, with Milly petting Moonlight, then putting her down for a little joke on her mother, as they walked inside.
Milly : Wow.
One side of the Cafe had a huge square grid window that looked out into the street, and the other side had a seating area with a couch on one side of the long table, and two chairs on the other side, on the left side of the cafe was an empty fireplace.
Then the part of the Cafe near the window had some wooden tables, big and small, with small tables having two chairs, and the big tables having four, with the bathroom being at the back side of the cafe.
On the downside, there was scratched paint on quite a few parts of the walls, and it was pretty dusty.
Ally : Looks like a fixer upper.
Milly : That's putting it a little lightly, Mama.
Ally : Milly… where's Moonlight?!
Milly looked around and she didn't see her cat.
Milly : Moonlight?!
Ally walked towards the door, when Milly grabbed her mother's hair, and suddenly pulled her cat out of her hair.
And Ally turned around and saw Milly holding her little white kitten in her arms, and petting her.
Ally : Are you serious?!
Milly : You had Moonlight in your hair.
Ally : I didn't even feel her.
Milly wiggled her fingers around at her mother, and spoke.
Milly : Magic. . .
Jonah laughed at what Milly did, and he clapped.
Jonah : Very nice, Pumpkin.
Milly : Thank you.
Ally : Sweetie, I know you like learning about Magic Tricks that I do, and you even have a magical power, but please stop using Moonlight for your tricks, you lost her once already, doing that.
Milly : Okay.
Jonah had gotten a chance to run the Cafe in the city, while Ally was a Magician, and Milly seemed to have an interest in both of her parents' jobs.
Milly : Pretty nice place though.
Jonah : You two head on upstairs, I'll look around down here.
Milly : Okay, Papa.
Milly held Moonlight in her arms, and she and her mother went upstairs.
The two of them got upstairs and saw their apartment was pretty nice, the Living Room was near the front door, and it was a decent size for the three of them and a cat, and the kitchen was decent as well.
Milly : It's a decent size for an apartment, Mama.
Ally : Yeah, I suppose so.
Milly opened one of the doors and saw it was a big bedroom, that had a door to a closet, and another to a bathroom.
Ally : I saw the other room in that door over there Sweetie, so you can take that room, and we'll take this one.
Milly : Alright, Mama.
Milly let Moonlight down, and she walked over to the door to her room and saw it was a decent size, and there was a big window and she saw the view of Ninjago City. ( Since their building was 4 stories, and the 3rd story was their apartment, and the first two stories was the Cafe, and the 4th Story was the Roof )
Milly : Wow.
Milly hoped that her bed and furniture would fit in her room, and she went downstairs to speak with her father.
Jonah : Oh hi, Milly.
Milly : Hi, is the moving truck here, Papa?
Jonah : It should be here in a few minutes.
Milly : Okay… I Just hope people accept me.
Jonah : Why wouldn't they.
Milly : My Powers?
Jonah : Pumpkin, you shouldn't have any shame in who you are, your powers don't define you, it's what you use them for, and you've seen the news and stories of the Young Ninja, the Elemental Masters, and other people who have had powers or useful abilities, there's no reason you are any different.
Milly : Thank you, Papa.
Jonah : Of course, Milly.
Jonah kissed Milly's Cheek, as they saw the moving truck stop outside, and Jonah went upstairs to get Ally.
After about a minute, Ally and Jonah came downstairs to help Milly.
Worker : Alright, we'll help you guys with getting the boxes out of the truck, and you can work from there.
Jonah : Alright, let's get to it.
Over the next hour, Milly and her parents worked with the movers to help get the boxes out of the truck, and they then got the last box inside.
Milly : Is that it, Papa?
Worker : Yes, that's it… and your wife already gave us our payment.
Jonah : Thank you for the help.
Worker : Anytime.
The workers then left, and the family then started to unpack the important things, and Milly was putting her furniture, clothes, and other belongings in her room, and after nearly an hour, she was almost done.
Milly had a Blue and White Nightlight that looked like the Moon, and she put it on her headboard, with the last thing being a large circular rug, that looked like a large Light-Blue Comet, with White Sparkles around it, with a black background, and Dark Blue accents around the comet, and she smiled.
Milly : There we go.
She walked over to her closet and put the last pair of her Overalls on one of the hangers, and hung them up ( Since Milly often wore her Overalls with either her White Hoodie, or a Long Sleeve Shirt )
Milly sat down in her chair, and she sighed as Moonlight sat in her lap, and Milly pet her.
Milly's Chair was essentially a "Ball Chair" ( If that makes sense ) Since it was white and was shaped like a ball, with Dark Blue Cushions for her to sit on in the chair.
Just then, Jonah walked inside the room.
Jonah : You alright, Pumpkin?
Milly : Yea, I'm finished Papa.
Jonah : Alright, I was going to go and get dinner, if you want to come with Me.
Milly : Okay.
Moonlight got off Milly's Lap, and let her stand up as she followed her father outside, since they saw Chen's Noodle House was just in the middle of their street, since their Cafe was on the corner at the end, And they walked over.
After about 10 Minutes, they arrived and walked inside, and they saw Skylor walking towards the front.
Skylor : Hello, I'm Skylor… welcome to Chen's Noodle House.
Jonah : Nice to meet you, my daughter and I were just here for takeout.
Skylor : Sure, just one minute.
Skylor walked away for a minute and she spoke to a kid that had spiky red hair.
Skylor : Charlie, can you and Lydia please clear your table on your own, I have another customer.
Charlie : Sure, Mom.
Princess Lydia : Okay.
Just then, a man with Green Eyes and Blond Hair caught her eyes, since she saw he was wearing royal clothes.
Milly : Papa… is that the Emperor?
Jonah saw Lloyd giving his plate to Lydia as she and Charlie were giving their plates to the other co-workers and he was slightly surprised.
Jonah : Wow, it is.
Just then, Lloyd stood up and went towards the bathroom, while Charlie and Lydia went to wait by the door, and Skylor came back to talk with Jonah.
Skylor then looked out the window, and saw the lights from the Cafe down the street were on.
Skylor : I see someone finally decided to open that Cafe again, nobody's used it in 4 months.
Jonah : Actually that's mine, I got a business opportunity with the Cafe, so I figured I would take it.
Skylor : Oh, good luck then, I haven't had as many customers now as I did back then, my Noodle House being so popular with specials and all that is the reason that Cafe went out of business anyway… but like I said, my name's Skylor.
Jonah : I'm Jonah Emerson.
Jonah shook hands with Skylor, and he smiled.
Skylor : This is my son, Charlie.
Charlie : Charmed… and this is my Yang, Princess Lydia.
Princess Lydia : Hi.
Jonah : This is my daughter, Milly.
Milly : Hello.
Charlie : Where did you guys come from?
Milly : I came from South Rhyolite.
Princess Lydia : That small town near the eastern mountains of Shintaro?
Milly : Yes, after the town started getting more harbored with outlaws, and we saw a chance to continue my family's business here in Ninjago City, so we took it.
Charlie : Did you say your last name was Emerson?
Princess Lydia : Like Ally Emerson, the Magician?
Milly : She's my… m-m-my Mama.
Charlie : Is that a bad thing?
Jonah : My daughter's pretty shy for her age.
Just then, they heard meowing, and Milly looked at the door.
Milly : Moonlight… how did you get Outside?!
Moonlight purred, and jumped into Milly's Arms, and she cuddled her kitten and lightly smiled
Princess Lydia : Who's that?
Milly : My Kitten, Moonlight… though I don't know how she got Outside.
Jonah : Now that I think about it, I forgot to shut the door all the way when we left.
Skylor then came back with the food, and Jonah paid her.
Jonah : Thank you, Skylor.
Skylor : Of course, come back again sometime.
Jonah : Sure… come on, Pumpkin.
Milly : I'm coming, bye guys.
Princess Lydia : Bye, Milly.
Jonah and Milly left, and Charlie and Lydia looked at each other.
Charlie : They seem nice.
Princess Lydia : Yea, Milly is interesting.
Skylor : Why interesting, Lydia?
Princess Lydia : She has Pale skin, her eyes are Dark Blue, and she has a White Cat with the same eyes as her.
Charlie : Yea, it's a bit interesting, but i'm not judging her.
After about one more hour, Milly and her parents had their dinner, and Milly was wearing her pajamas and getting ready for bed, when her father knocked on the door.
Jonah : Hey, Sweetie.
Milly : Papa?
Jonah : You sure you're okay?
Milly : I guess I'm just nervous, we're in a City that I've never been to, around people who know nothing about me, and sometimes I can't control who I am or my powers, and I don't want to hurt anyone… and…
Milly had tears leave her eyes, as she spoke
Jonah : Milly?
Milly : I don't want to hurt you.
Jonah kneeled down in front of his daughter and he had her look at him
Jonah : Milly, you aren't going to hurt me, whether you do it intentionally or accidentally, I will never see you that way, you're an amazing little girl, and I wouldn't have anyone else my little daughter, because I love you.
Milly had a few tears leave her eyes, and she jumped into her father's arms, and Jonah caught her and tightly wrapped his arms around his daughter, as Milly tightly hugged him, and Jonah returned the hug and rubbed his daughter's back as he carried her, and she let tears soak her father's shoulder, and he smiled at the moment with his daughter
Milly : I love you.
Jonah : I love you too, Milly.
Jonah kissed his daughter's cheek, and continued to hug her.
Milly : Is it true that Haden will come home?
Jonah : He will Milly... he may not be here all the time, because he wanted to go to School, but he'll come here any day he can, he's your brother and he loves you, same as your mother, and same as me.
Milly had a few more tears soak her father's shoulder as she sighed, and smiled when she spoke.
Milly : I love you so much, Papa.
Jonah : I love you too, Milly.
and let her down, as she kissed her father back, and smiled.
Jonah : I'll let you settle down, goodnight Milly.
Milly : Goodnight, Papa.
Jonah left the room, and Milly laid down on her bed, as Moonlight jumped onto Milly's Bed, and snuggled up to her, as Milly gently pet Moonlight, as she felt a breeze, and slightly shivered, and then sighed, as she closed her eyes, and they both fell asleep.
The Next Morning. . .
Milly woke up to the sound of Meowing, and saw Moonlight on her chest, staring at her.
Milly : *Yawn* Moonlight?
Moonlight meowed at Milly, and she smiled and stood up.
Milly : Okay you silly kitten, I'll get your breakfast.
Milly walked out into the kitchen, and got the cat food and filled Moonlight's Bowl, and she refilled her bowl of water, and placed them both on the floor so Moonlight could eat.
Jonah : I see you're awake.
Milly turned and saw her father was wearing his bathrobe, and walked into the kitchen.
Milly : Morning, Papa.
Jonah : Are you okay?
Milly : Yea, just getting used to being in a new place.
Jonah : You going to do anything fun today?
Milly : I was thinking of walking around the City, since I wanted to be familiar with my home.
Jonah : Okay Sweetie.
After a few minutes, the two sat down and ate their breakfast, and after they finished, Milly stood up.
Milly : I'm gonna get dressed.
Jonah : Okay Pumpkin, so will I, then I can start working on the Cafe.
Milly went into her room to get her clothes and get dressed.
Milly put on a White Shirt, Black Leather Boots, Blue Shorts, Dark Blue Skirt, and her White and Blue Paint Striped Hoodie ( Which was essentially the same as her White hoodie that had looked like Gray and Blue paint was dripping down it, only the hoodie she had now had looked like dripping Blue Paint lines were across it ) and she even painted her nails Dark Blue, and put on her Pale Pink Lipstick.
Before Milly walked out, she grabbed her bag ( Which was a Blue Leather Crossbody Bag ) and she put the strap over head to have the strap near her right shoulder and her bag at her left hip, and she walked out the door
She walked out and saw her father was dressed and about to head downstairs.
Jonah : Okay, I'll see you later Milly.
Milly : Okay, Bye Papa.
Milly gave her father a hug and walked downstairs and outside as her father shut the door behind her, and turned on the Open sign in the window.
20 Minutes Later. . .
Milly was walking in the Ninjago City Park, looking for directions to where Haden was, since he was going to be at the job he chose for his school project, which was where the kids chose a job they wanted to try in real life to see if it was a career they wanted to pursue.
Milly went inside a building and she saw a huge "Plinko Wall" Since the wall had pegs all over in the middle of it, and white colored balls were falling down from the top, and at the bottom were different numbers.
She then saw it was 10:54, so she guessed the show would be over soon, and she went through a door into the building's hallway, and she went into the bathroom.
After Milly used the bathroom, she was washing her hands, when somebody walked in.
Security : Young Lady.
Milly : Yes?
Security : You're not supposed to be in here, this is for the backstage staff only.
Milly : I'm just trying to find my brother... Haden Emerson.
Security : Haden's your brother?
Milly : You know him?
Security : Yes, he's the host, the show will be over in one minute and he'll be in the green room.
Milly : Okay.
After a few minutes, Milly was in the hallway and she saw the Green Room's door, and she walked in and saw her brother fixing his hair, after putting on his silver hoodie.
She knocked on the door and her brother spoke.
Brother : Come in.
Milly walked in and shut the door, and her brother spoke.
Brother : What is it, is it about needing me the wow the crowd more than I have already tried to, or-
Milly put her bag down and she spoke
Milly : Big brother, you should know by now that it's meant to be common courtesy to actually address the one you're talking too.
Brother : Milly?
Milly's Brother turned around... and it was revealed to be Haden.
Milly bowed and she spoke as she did.
Milly : You summoned me?
Haden : Milly!
Milly ran into her brother's arms, and he spun around with her in his arms, and the two hugged.
Milly : How long has it been Haden?
Haden : Too long it seems, you're growing up too fast and you've only gotten Cuter.
Milly : So this is why you couldn't come visit your sister you called "Magical Milly"... a Game Show?
Haden : Blame the old host for quitting, and I had a job before that was important.
Milly : Okay. . .
Haden : Ignore me all you want, but after all I was the one who wanted you guys to come back.
Milly : Will you come and see Mama and Papa?
Haden : I will, but not right now, I'm busy.
Milly : Okay, but you know where we are.
Haden : Yes, I know, Dad sent me a message with the address.
Milly : Okay, I'm heading out.
Haden : See you later, Magical Milly.
Milly : There it is.
Milly kissed her brother's cheek, and she walked out.
4 Hours Later. . .
Milly spent most of her day walking around and getting familiar with the City, but on the way home she was getting lost. . .
Milly hadn't seen Haden since she was four years old, and now she was seven, she was glad that he wanted them to come to Ninjago City, but it was weird, he annoyed her and her parents until they agreed to come to the city, and most of the time their father is very hard to move with annoyance
Milly was looking around at the buildings of the street she was on and spoke.
Milly : I don't think this is right, I mean, how could I-
She walked into somebody as she was walking, and she fell on the sidewalk.
Milly : Owie, I never watch where I'm going.
Person : Sorry, are you okay?
The person reached out their hand and Milly grabbed it and they helped her stand up...
Milly saw the boy who helped her stand up, he didn't look much older than her, and he also had Jet Black hair, and it was swept off to the right side ( It was the same hair style as Kataru's, only vision him without his bear headdress ) and he had dark blue eyes.
Milly thought he was cute, and ripped at the same time, since his muscles were big.
And she was looking at Clayton Kenway.
Clayton : Sorry about that, I finished with my job and I was heading back to the dormitory at my school.
Milly : It's okay, I'm usually a clutz, I say usually, I should say always.
Clayton smiled, and Milly spoke.
Milly : But if you're really sorry, then you should make it up to me.
Clayton stared at her before smiling again and he spoke.
Clayton : Okay, how about I take you out tomorrow... to dinner?
Milly : Sounds cool.
Milly giggled, and the two stared at each other before Clayton spake.
Clayton : Oh, my name's Clayton.
Milly : I'm Milly, nice to meet you.
Clayton : That's a pretty name.
Milly : Thank you.
Clayton saw Milly's bag and he spoke.
Clayton : Do you need me to help you with your bag, it looks a bit heavy, and if you haven't noticed, I'm really strong.
Milly saw Clayton raise his arm, and she saw his muscle.
Milly : If you're not that tired.
Clayton : Course not, I'm never too tired to ever help out a pretty girl.
Clayton grabbed Milly's bag, and she blushed.
Milly : Just trying to find the way back to my home, I'm new in the city, and quite frankly it's like a maze.
Clayton : I can help with that, I've helped rebuild and fight for this city several times.
Milly : Rebuild and Fight, are you a worker or something?
Clayton : Uh... I'm a Lumberjack when it comes to having a job as a kid for where I truly come from, but I'm a Formling, which is why I fight, especially after Garmadon's Reign.
Milly : I heard about that place, is it really true you people turn into animals.
Clayton : Yea, see?
Clayton put the bag down and used his animal form and Milly saw him turn into a Polar Bear, and Clayton changed his form and then turned into a Snow Tiger ( Same as a normal tiger essentially, except they're White instead of Orange )
Milly : Wow. . .
Clayton turned back to normal and grabbed Milly's bag.
Milly : I came from the same street as Master Chen's Noodle House.
Clayton : Oh, you came down the wrong street, follow me.
Milly followed Clayton since it seemed like he very well knew his way around the City.
Milly : Thank you.
Clayton : So what about you, you don't seem to be from anywhere around here.
Milly : I just arrived here yesterday, my Mama and Papa each found a business opportunity in the city, as for me... I came from South Rhyolite.
Clayton : Isn't that town harbored with Outlaws?
Milly : That's why we came here, my brother wanted us to come to the City after hearing that place was becoming a wild west after Garmadon's Reign.
Clayton : Well, welcome to Ninjago City.
Milly : Thank you.
Clayton stopped on the street, and Milly pointing to the Cafe building.
Milly : That's it right there.
Clayton : The Cafe?
Milly : Yea, my Papa's running it now, and our apartment is upstairs.
Clayton : Alright then.
Milly : Well I can take it from here.
Clayton : Okay.
Clayton gave Milly her bag, and they both spoke.
Milly : Thank you.
Clayton : Of course, so I'll pick you up tomorrow night, here?
Milly blushed, and she spoke.
Milly : Oh right, dinner... I was joking about that to be honest.
Clayton : Well Milly, would have the honor of having dinner with me tomorrow night?
Clayton winked, and Milly giggled and blushed, then she spoke.
Milly : R-really... Of course, thank you.
Clayton : Great, I'll come pick you up tomorrow at eight... see ya later.
Milly blushed as Clayton walked away, and she walked inside, and while not too many for her father and the staff to handle, she saw quite a few customers inside the Cafe.
Just then, Jonah saw Milly.
Jonah : Hey, Milly!
Milly : Papa!
Milly ran and jumped into her father's arms, and the two hugged and Jonah spoke.
Jonah : You okay, you were gone a while.
Milly : Took a wrong turn, I talked to Haden today though, he's happy.
Jonah : Told you he would be.
Milly : I love you, Papa.
Jonah : I love you too, Little Muffin.
Jonah let Milly down, she was slightly curious to why her father called her that, and he actually grabbed a Blueberry Muffin and gave it to Milly.
Milly : Thank you, Papa.
Milly kissed her father's cheek, and she heard Moonlight's meowing, and she followed her cat upstairs, to let her father work.
She knew her mother was probably doing another magic show in the city, so she just sat down in the Living Room with Moonlight.
Milly : We're in a whole new chapter of our lives, Moonlight. . .
Moonlight purred, and Milly continued to pet her kitten, and she smiled, she was going to like Ninjago City. . .
Meanwhile. . .
Wu was with Lloyd, Harumi, Montgomery, and Lydia, as they were all walking through Ninjago City.
Emperor Lloyd : So just lighten up a bit, Master Wu, there's nothing left for you to be so paranoid about right now.
Master Wu : If you are sure.
Emperor Lloyd : I'm positive
They were walking past the Noodle House, when Harumi saw the corner building at the end of the street.
Empress Harumi : Well that's interesting, somebody actually bought the old Cafe that was there.
Emperor Lloyd : Surprised there's quite a few people there.
Montgomery and Lydia were talking to each other, while listening to their parents, and the former spoke.
Montgomery : So that's why I'm looking forward to this field trip, little sis, it's going to be awesome.
Princess Lydia : I know, I've seen videos of Ally Emerson's Magic, I really want to see it in person.
Montgomery : Is it weird that Haden has an element related to Magic, and that a famous magician is his mother.
Princess Lydia : You saying Magic is related to him?
Montgomery : I'm saying there's more to Magic than what meets the eye, Clouse was living proof of that and you know it.
Princess Lydia : Fair enough.
Next Time on The Elemental Legion...
Lydia begins her job as a Papergirl, being introduced to the same girl Master Wu and Garmadon were following, and another friend of hers, while Milly goes out on her date with Clayton, with Nya and Jay hearing of an earthquake with no casualties, causing heavy damages to Ignacia Village, they invite Maya and Ray to stay with them, much to the twins excitement.
