Asami still had a skeptical attitude towards her. Korra was not surprised. For sure, she showed the daughter of the CEO of Future Industry the warehouse where her father stores the weapon for the Equalists, but why wouldn't somebody question the motive of a triad boss who went undercover as a pro bender athletes? Korra revealed this to Asami and her teammates a few days ago, and she has yet to tell them the whole story: she was, in fact, the infamous firebending Grand Boss of triads in Republic City, the one who killed Lightning Bolt Zolt with her signature white fire and superior lightning bending skills she acquired when she was studying at the Fire Nation's Royal Academy. Of course, she couldn't, that would reveal her identity as the Avatar, since she joined the Fire Ferret as a waterbender.

Asami insisted on confronting Hiroshi alone, Korra managed to convince go with the former as she addressed her suspicion about Amon being a bloodbender. Then she told the nonbender to wait until the next full moon. "I have more things to show you," is how she told her nonbender friend. Korra knows it is unlikely that Asami would consider her as a friend after knowing her association with the traids, but Korra still reckons her as a friend. The Avatar has grand plans for the future and their collaboration will make it much easier.

9:00PM, times is up. Korra failed to catch up on more sleep, it is not needed anyway, as she feels her being energized by the full moon. This will neutralize the advantage Amon has for somehow managing to bloodbend without the presence of a full moon, since Korra is also a skilled bloodbender. Listening carefully to Katara, her waterbending teacher, telling stories about the fight between her mentor and the first bloodbender Hemma, she tried to acquire as much details as she could without looking suspicious; she practiced it in secret at almost every full moon. Besides, she possesses a unique waterbending technique that Amon doesn't, which is discovered when she was learning to heal with water…

"let's go." Korra said. They entered the Sato's mansion, Asami entered the pin number of the garage's gate. Korra walked behind Asami, seeing some new satomobile models in progress, but nothing special. In addition, Hiroshi was nowhere to be found. Korra closed her eyes, her two hands touching the metal wall. Her seismic sense is far from mastery, her former commander Suyin has never perfected that skill since it is not that quite useful to military combat in the Earth Republic, but still good enough to detect the vibration from a huge underground compound beneath the garage.

"He must be in a separate compound" Korra opened her eyes, "find the secret entrance." Asami nodded, and soon she found an elevator going further down into the ground. They remain silent until they reach the underground bunker.

Korra had seen a lot of weapons during the former years as a soldier of the Earth Republic, Suyin wasn't given the title of Great Uniter for nothing, as a prominent general of the former Earth Kingdom she is backed up with heavy mechas and airship bombardiers, but Korra is still in awe finding so many weapons that is enough to equip an army concentrated into one underground bunker. As they proceeded to Hiroshi, they find him along with Amon.

"father, why?" Asami asked him, her eyes full of disbelief and the sense of betrayal, "you promised me you have nothing to do with the Equalists!"

"Asami, your mother was killed by a firebender, from that day, I promised to your mother I will never let benders to treat us like toys." Replied the CEO of Future Industry, "I promised her that she will be avenged. It hits me on the gut to see you befriend a bunch of benders."

"Step aside, Miss Sato, let me equalize this waterbender." Amon said, launching himself to Korra.

"Stop!" Asami said, standing in front of Korra "she has never hurt me or my friends! Father, I still need your explanation!"

"I see." Amon said, without any emotion in his tone, "Hiroshi, if you're loyal to our cause, you must face any obstacle along the way, even if it turns out to be your family."

"NO. NEVER!"

"Fine then. You're not loyal to our cause." Amon replied, "Therefore you become an obstacle to be removed." Without lifting a finger, he lifted Hiroshi into the air, twisting his neck before slamming the CEO onto the ground. His grip was so powerful, Korra failed to fight the bloodbending and save Hiroshi. "Shit," Korra said, she underestimated her enemy.
