"If you have all caught up." Jason said. "You have a lot to catch up on."
"Enlighten us." Fox said.
"Well..." Jason began.
Five weeks ago.
Jason took out 'Scarlet' and cut the air creating a portal.
"I have questions." Qrow said.
"You're about to have more."
Qrow walked through the portal into Tai's house on Patch.
"Hey Tai. I'm here to..." Qrow stopped when he saw Summer. "S-S-Summer? Is that you?"
"Hi Qrow." Summer said sheepishly.
Qrow picked Summer up and hugged his wife tightly. "Oh, Gods Summer!" He sobbed. "I thought I would never see you again."
Summer hugged Qrow's head and ran her fingers through Qrow's hair. "It's okay. I'm here. I'm back."
"I'll let you guys catch up..." Tai said starting to leave.
"Wait." Qrow said putting Summer down. "You guys need to come with me. I'll explain when we get there but come with me through this portal."
"Is Raven on the other side?"
"No, but Jason and Ruby are."
"Let's go." Summer said grabbing Qrow's hand. "Come on Zwei."
The Corgi ran towards the group.
"I have to grab something first." Qrow said running to a chest on the side of the house.
He pulled a box out of the chest and blew the dust off, getting some in his eyes.
He rubbed his eye's before he ran back to Summer and held the box out to her.
Summer opened the box, and gasped. "You were able to recover them?"
"No. I had this forged after you disappeared. I was hoping that you would come back. and I wanted you to have something nice when you came back, but... how?"
Summer grabbed Qrow by his shirt and pulled him down to her level and kissed him. "I'll tell you later." She said when they came up for air. "Right now, I want to see our daughter."
Summer, Qrow, Tai, and Zwei walked through the portal back to Haven Academy.
When they walked through the portal they were in an infirmary.
"Qrow?" Summer and Tai asked in unison. "What happened?"
"They have had a really hard time."
"Dad!" Ruby yelled running to Tai.
She stopped when she saw Summer. "M-m-mom?"
"Yes." Summer said.
Ruby became rose petals and ran away.
"I'll go talk to her." Jason said.
Jason walked out and followed Ruby's scent.
He stopped by a vending machine and grabbed some cookies.
He walked outside and found Ruby sitting under a tree crying.
"Hey." He said sitting next to her. "Cookie?" He asked holding out the pack of cookies.
"I don't want them!" Ruby yelled.
"What? You don't want Cookies? Are you sick or something?"
He placed a hand on Ruby's forehead. "You don't have a fever. Are you an imposter? I guess I'll have to check. The real Ruby is super ticklish right..."
He poked her under her kidney causing her to jump.
"Jason stop!" She yelled.
"Oop. Is it the real Ruby? I'll have to make sure." He began tickling her in the same spot.
Ruby began laughing until she sped away and grabbed Jason's hand. " JASON STOP!" She yelled.
Jason stopped. "I'm sorry Ruby. Want to talk about it?"
Ruby started crying again. "Is that really my mom?"
"Yes."
"What happened to her? Why didn't she come back? Where has she been?"
"All questions that she has the answers to. You need to ask her."
"What would you do if you were me?"
"Me? I'd probably cry, get angry, but then go back and cry in her arms until I passed out, and ask her all the questions I had when I woke up before crying again."
"Really?"
"Ruby. I was six when my mom was killed. I remember her being a mom to me. If she suddenly walked into my life right now. I would be a mess of emotions."
"Okay." Ruby sniffed. "Can I have a cookie?"
Jason handed Ruby the pack of cookies.
"Can I eat these before we go back in?"
"Yeah." Jason said.
Ruby curled into Jason's side and ate her cookies while they watched the clouds roll by.
Summer looked at Tai and Qrow.
"What was that about?" Nora asked.
"Summer is Ruby's mom.' Weiss whispered. " She's been missing for going on fourteen years."
"Oh." Nora said. "Sorry." She whispered.
"Summer." Qrow said. "What happened?"
"Let's wait till Ruby gets here. I'll tell both of you."
"Okay. Well until then..." Qrow opened the box and showed Summer the contents.
Summer reached into the box tenderly.
She pulled out a belt and put it on.
The belt had a holster on the back, and two loops on the sides.
She took out two gauntlets and put them on her arms under her sleeves.
The gauntlets had sheaths on them.
She took a gun out of the box and looked it over before pressing a release on the side, and the gun folded out into a crossbow.
She inspected every inch of the gun before she folded it back into the compact form and put it in the holster on her back.
She reached in, and pulled out two Jagdkommando Tri-daggers, and put them in the loops on her belt.
She reached back in and pulled out two more and put them in the sheaths in the sleeves.
She pulled her sleeves down and flicked her arms sending the daggers into her hands.
"I never get tired of seeing you do that." Qrow said pulling Summer into a one-armed embrace and kissing her.
The door opened, and they heard Ruby.
"Uncle Qrow? Why are you kissing my mom?"
"We need to talk kiddo." Qrow said sadly.
The three left the infirmary leaving Tai and the others alone.
"What was that about?" Jaune asked.
"Isn't it obvious?" Whitley asked. "Qrow and Summer are Ruby's parents, but they told Ruby that Qrow was Ruby's uncle."
"Oh. Why?"
"Because." Tai said. "After Summer disappeared, Qrow took it pretty hard. He started drinking. A lot. I told Qrow that Ruby needed her father, but Qrow told me that without Summer there he would not be a good father. So, he gave me custody of her, and became her alcoholic uncle."
"Ass." Weiss scoffed, though she knew better than anyone but Whitley what having a drunk parent was like.
"Yang used to call him Druncle Qrow." Jason said walking in. "Don't know if it's because she knew Qrow was Ruby's dad and was abandoning her or not."
"Can't say that I blame her." Whitley said. "Our mother has been drinking for as long as I can remember, and the best thing she ever did was give Weiss custody over me."
"I haven't talked to my parents in a while." Jaune said. "My last conversation with them was them telling me that I would never be a Huntsman, and me leaving."
Pyrrha hugged Jaune. "I'm so sorry." She spoke.
"Thanks." Jaune said hugging Pyrrha back.
"My parents have always supported my athletic career." Pyrrha said. "When I told them that I wanted to be a Huntress they told me that they would not support me."
"I told them that they could keep the money from my endorsements, but that I would be leaving to become a Huntress."
"I have blocked all calls from them and my managers because my last conversation with them was that I have a duty to them, and then I got amnesia."
"I don't know who my parents are." Nora said. "Until I met Ren, I was alone, but now I'm not."
Nora looked at Ren.
Ren looked away.
"Ren." Nora said. "You have to tell them. If you don't, I will."
Ren looked at Nora. "Fine." He sighed. "When I was seven... I lost my parents to the Grimm we killed out there."
"You guys are just kids." Tai said. "Yet you are stronger than most adults I know."
"We had to get this way to survive." Nora said. "Otherwise... we wouldn't be here."
Tai came to a decision.
Qrow, Ruby, and Summer walked into an empty classroom.
They each sat at a row of desks and looked at each other.
"Ruby." Summer began. "I've missed you."
"I've missed you too mom." Ruby said softly.
"I guess the beginning is the best place to start." Qrow said. "Like all Hunters your mother and I went to an Academy. We were put into the same Team and went through four years at Beacon."
"While at Beacon." Summer continued. "We started to date. Though I had to break through your father's thick skull that his Semblance wasn't a curse."
"You see Ruby." Qrow took over. "My Semblance is Misfortune. It can be my greatest ally, or greatest enemy. I thought that if I got close to anyone that I would hurt them."
"I eventually convinced him that his Semblance wasn't a bad thing, and we finally started dating in our fourth year."
"After we graduated, we started taking missions as Team STRQ."
"Tai Yang and Raven decided to get married, and two years later, Yang was born."
"After Yang was born, we stopped going on missions for a while, and that's when your mother and I decided to get married."
"Two years later we were blessed with you." Summer said feeling parental pride course through her veins.
"We stopped going on missions after that." Qrow added. "We were happy."
"Then Ozpin called us with a simple scouting mission." Summer said.
"We didn't want to leave you alone, so I stayed with you."
"I was attacked, and barely managed to survive because a Bandit Clan found me and healed me."
"Then why didn't you come back!" Ruby demanded.
"Because." Summer said. "They wouldn't let me leave. They took my weapons and told me that I would get them back after I joined them. I kept trying to escape, to get back to you and Qrow, but after my fifth escape attempt, they put me in their prison. I was held there until Jason found me a few months ago."
"Jason knew you were alive and didn't tell me?"
"Look at how you are acting right now." Qrow said. "If you knew this last week would you have been able to fight that Nuckelavee? Would you be alive today? Jason didn't tell us because he knew it wasn't safe. Instead, he waited until we were safe. Now we can break down safely."
"What about you!" Ruby yelled. "You are my dad, and yet you left. WHY!"
"I... I don't have a good enough excuse."
"Qrow." Summer said. "She deserves to know."
Qrow sighed a heavy sigh. "You're right. Ruby. After your mother disappeared. I fell into depression. I started drinking, and with my Semblance... I was afraid that I was going to hurt you, of not kill you. So, I left you in Tai's custody, and became a full time Huntsman. I figured that it would be better if you thought Tai was your father rather than me."
"I guess Yang was right when she called you 'Druncle Qrow'."
Qrow felt hurt but couldn't blame Ruby for being angry.
"I figured that if I couldn't be a father, I could at least be your uncle."
"At least Tai was a good father." Ruby said.
"RUBY!" Summer scolded. "Your father did what he felt was best for you. Granted it was selfish, but it was what was best for you."
"No Summer." Qrow said. "She's right. I should have been a better father." He took his flask out of his coat and threw it in the trash. "I should never have started drinking in the first place, but I'm going to stop."
"So, you'll stop for mom, but not for me?" Ruby asked harshly.
"RUBY!" Summer scolded again.
"NO!" Ruby yelled jumping up. "I need some air." She said using her semblance to run out of the classroom.
"Ruby!" Summer called after her.
"She's right." Qrow said. "I failed her. I failed our Daughter. I'm so sorry Summer."
"I'll go talk to her." Summer said.
Summer walked through Haven Academy until she found the training area.
She walked in and saw Ruby.
"Hey." She asked. "Can we talk?"
Ruby bolted into Summers arms. "WHY!" She sobbed. "WHY DID DAD LEAVE ME! DID I DO SOMETHING WRONG?"
Summer hugged Ruby. "No, my little rose. You did nothing wrong."
"THEN WHY?"
Summer hugged Ruby more tightly. "It's my fault little rose. If I hadn't left on that mission, then we would still be a family."
Ruby broke down and grabbed Summer's cloak.
Mother and Daughter fell to the floor. Mother holding daughter as she cried.
"Let it out." Summer said. "Just cry."
Ruby was in emotional agony. Her mother, who had been missing for most of her life, was back in her life, and it hurt so much.
She cried until she couldn't cry anymore and passed out.
Summer picked Ruby up and walked back to the infirmary.
Qrow walked to the Headmasters office.
"Hey Leo." He said when he walked in. "Mind setting us up in dorms now?"
"Of course, Qrow." Lionheart said. "Here are the codes. I've given you guys two houses on the edge of the Academy. They are large enough to each house four Teams comfortably."
"Thanks Leo."
"You're welcome."
Qrow left the office, and a seer Grimm floated out of a closet.
"You're Majesty." Lionheart said.
"What news do you have of the Alpha, and the Silver Eyed girl?"
"They are here."
"Very well. I will send I will send my agents to take care of them."
"Very well you're Majesty."
Qrow led the group towards the houses Lionheart had given them.
Pyrrha took Jaune's hand in hers causing him to blush.
Nora wrapped her arm around Ren's.
Summer carried Ruby's unconscious form.
Jason and Weiss were walking with their fingers intertwined, and Whitley walking beside them on Weiss's right.
Tai Yang and Zwei were walking at the back of the group, acting like the rear guard.
When they arrived at the first house Qrow sent Tai the codes for the second house.
"Hey Tai. Take JNPR and go to the other house."
"Right." Tai said walking with JNPR to the other house.
Qrow unlocked the house, and they walked in.
"Where's the bathroom?" Whitley asked.
"Each room has a bathroom." Qrow said. "Go pick one, and that's yours for however long we stay here."
"Okay." Whitley said running upstairs.
"He's really calmed down since the Gala." Jason noticed.
"Yeah." Weiss said. "All it took was getting him away from Jacques."
"How about we go find a room to put our stuff in, then take a shower?"
"That sounds wonderful." Weiss said leaning into Jason's side as they walked up the stairs.
Qrow and Summer walked into a room, and put Ruby on a bed before walking out, and to the last remaining room.
Tai walked to the second house and opened it.
Team JNPR walked into the house and he followed.
"You guys go choose your rooms and do whatever you need to. I'll see if we have any food and make lunch."
JNPR walked up the stairs and walked into the first room.
Jaune sat down and leaned against the bed.
Pyrrha sat down next to him leaning her head against his shoulder.
Nora sat down on his other side and leaned against his other shoulder.
Ren sat down on the side of the bed and laid down next to Nora.
Nora ran her fingers through his long hair.
Tai began fixing lunch for himself and Team JNPR.
When he was done, he walked upstairs.
"Hey." He knocked on the first door. "Is anyone in here?"
He opened the door and saw Team JNPR sleeping against each other on the floor against the bed.
He walked back downstairs and left a note on the fridge that there was food in the fridge and ate a quiet lunch by himself.
When he was done, he went and laid down on the couch for a nap.
Zwei jumped up and laid on his stomach before falling asleep.
Weiss looked down at Jason. "I love you." She spoke.
"I love you too." He said back.
Weiss rolled off him and covered herself with the comforter. "When we get married." She started.
"Yeah?"
"Have you given any thoughts to kids?"
"Do you want kids?" He asked nervously.
"I know that you're afraid of having kids because of what happened to you, but yes. I think that I want to have children."
"If you want kids then I'll have kids for you. I just don't want to leave them alone thinking we've abandoned them. I know that feeling, and I don't want any child of mine feeling that way."
"I'll be right back." Weiss said walking to the bathroom.
She came back a few seconds later.
"Just wanted to throw the condom away." She spoke.
"Okay." He said pulling her closer. "If... I mean when we have kids. What do you want to name them?"
Weiss felt a surge of joy. Jason had gone from not wanting to have kids to wanting to have kids to make her happy. "I want at least two. I want one of them to be named after you, and one named after me."
"So, you want to name one of them after a shade of red, and one after a shade of white?"
"Yes."
"Okay. I want a daughter."
"Really?"
"Yes. Why, does that bother you?"
"No. It's just. I thought that you would want boys so they could protect each other."
"I want a girl for two reasons."
"What are they?"
"I want to teach her how to kick other kids butts..."
"Of course." Weiss said kissing his cheek.
"But. I also want to spoil the hell out of her."
This caught Weiss off guard. "What?"
"I want to spoil our daughter. I want to show her how she should want to be treated, and how to treat guys, or girls I guess, who don't treat her right."
Weiss was surprised. This was a side of Jason she had never seen before. "You're going to make an excellent dad."
"Do you want a son or daughter?"
"If we have a son, I'm going to teach him to treat girls the way you treat me."
"The way I treat you, now right?"
"Yeah. Our first meeting was..." Weiss flashed back to their first day at Beacon. "...less than good."
"Agreed."
They laid their enjoying each other's company.
"Weiss?" Jason asked.
"Yes?"
"Do you think our relationship revolves around sex? Is our relationship only a physical relationship?"
A small smile crossed her face. "No." She spoke. "Our relationship does not revolve around sex. This is our first-time making love since we left Atlas. I mean sure we made love a few times in Atlas between the time we had that fight, and the time we left, but not every day. We were making love once a week. The rest of the time we spent it doing other things."
"That's good..."
Jason was interrupted by a knock on the door.
Jason got up and threw his lounge pants on before walking to the door and opening it a crack.
"Hello." He spoke.
"Are you and Weiss involved?" Whitley asked.
"We were. What's up?"
"I was wondering if I could do some sparring. I don't really have much else to do."
"Yeah. Give me ten minutes."
"Okay. Sorry for interrupting."
"You were interrupting pillow talk. That's all."
"Okay. See you outside."
"Yup."
Jason closed the door and walked into the bathroom where Weiss was already getting ready for the shower.
He took his visor off, and Weiss took his hand before leading him to the shower.
They showered and washed off before drying off and getting dressed in the spare outfit they brought from Atlas.
Jason put on a pair of black designer cargo jeans, a charcoal grey long sleeved shirt, and his red zip up hoodie. He put a belt on and put 'Scarlet Sunrise' on his belt.
Weiss pulled on a pair of White designer jeans, a white tank top, and pulled on her white pullover. She grabbed 'Myrtenaster' and put it on her belt.
The couple interlocked their fingers and walked downstairs.
They walked into the front room and saw Whitley sitting on a chair.
"Ready to go?" Jason asked.
"Yes."
"Good. Let's go."
They walked to the training mat.
"Okay." Jason said. "I will cut all but one of my senses and fight you that way. You get to choose which sense I keep. And Weiss will keep score. If you can get one point before I get ten, you win."
"Okay." Whitley agreed. "I choose your sense of touch."
'Bad call.' Jason thought. 'But he has to learn somehow.'
Jason took his visor off and held it out to Weiss.
Weiss took it and went to the doorway. "Ready..."
Whitley grabbed 'Nights Blade' and 'Assassin's Secret'.
"Set..."
'Whitley possibly chose the worst sense for Jason to keep.'
"Fight!"
There was a gunshot, and 'Scarlet' flew into the air before Jason caught it.
'Whitley needs to move which allows Jason to track him through the vibrations in the floor, and...'
"Point. Jason." Weiss said.
'Bait him.'
The two sparred for the next several minutes until Jason had accumulated eight points.
"Do you want me to switch to another sense?" Jason asked.
"No!" Whitley gasped out. "No. If I can beat your sense of touch, then I can beat you. It's your most versatile sense because you can feel everything. If I can beat your sense of touch. I can beat you!"
"I like your drive." Jason said. "But you have to earn your victory!"
Whitley ran at Jason and squeezed the trigger on 'Nights Blade' and threw the blade at Jason.
Jason ducked under the blade and spun around before he felt something on his prosthetics. 'Smart.' He thought as he tried to get untangled from the wire, but the wire tightened and snagged his feet.
"What the hell!" He yelped.
He felt a blade against his throat. "Yield." Whitley said.
"I could get out of this three different ways before you could blink." Jason said. "But I'll give you the win."
Whitley released a sigh of relief.
"But let me show you how I can escape!" Jason yelled as he disappeared into his shadow and appeared next to Whitley before grabbing him and throwing him into the air.
He grabbed his foot, and slammed him into the ground, and pointed 'Scarlet' at him.
"You forgot that I still had my Semblance. You became cocky in your victory, and you dropped your guard while your opponent was still conscious. You need someone who is closer to your level."
"Really? Like whom?"
"I'll make a call." Jason said walking to the doorway where Weiss was.
Weiss handed him his visor. "Weren't you a little harsh?" She asked.
"Perhaps, but I'm hoping the harshness will keep him from ending up like me."
Jason disappeared into his shadow.
Weiss walked towards Whitley. "Are you okay?" She asked looking him over.
"I'll be fine."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah. I know he's only doing this to make me a better Hunter."
"Yeah." Jaune said coming up to them. "Jason may be brutal, but he does it with your best interest in mind."
"Whitley." Jason said from the doorway. "I've brought you a sparring partner."
"Really? Who?"
Jason stepped to the side to show a very anger, very, smol, very mute assassin.
Neo looked at Jason and signed. *I gave up ice cream for this. This better be good.*
"Don't worry." Jason said. "I'll make sure of it."
"Wait." Whitley said. "What did she say?"
"Don't worry about that. This is Neo. She is one of the greatest assassin's I've come across. I'm sure she has a body count to back it up, but I'm not sure of the actual amount."
Neo smiled a smug smile in Whitley's direction.
"A-are you sure this is a good idea?" Whitley asked nervously. "Pairing me up with a professional?"
Jason looked at Whitley. "Sorry Whitley, but if you want to be the best, you have to learn from the best."
He looked over at Neo. "You can start when you're both ready."
Neo nodded, and walked over to Whitley, and began looking him up and down.
"Um... What are you..."
Neo walked into Whitley's personal space and looked him dead in the eye's before giving him a mischievous grin. She backed up, and pulled out her Parasol, 'Hush'.
"Wait." Whitley said. "A parasol?"
Neo leaned 'Hush' on her side and started signing while frowning at Whitley authoritatively at Whitley.
"What did she say?" "Whitley asked.
"She said. 'Lesson one. Looks can be deceiving.' Whenever you're ready."
Whitley took in a deep breath before taking out 'Night's Blade' and 'Assassin's Secret'. "All right. On your guard."
'Not like she needs it.' Jason thought.
Whitley ran at Neo and hit her with his sword causing her to shatter.
Neo appeared behind Whitley and hit him with 'Hush' knocking him down.
She signed at Jason. *Lesson two. Never make the first move. It's usually a trap.*
"She says. 'Lesson two. Never make the first move. It's usually a trap'."
"Good to know." Whitley said.
Neo strutted around Whitley.
Whitley swung 'Assassin's Secret' at Neo's feet, but she shattered, and hit him from behind, and signed at Jason. *Lesson three. Only an idiot gloats after first blood.*
"She said. 'Lesson three. Only an idiot gloats after first Blood'."
"Okay." Whitley said getting to his knees.
Neo hit him back to the floor and signed. *Lesson four. If you give your opponent breathing room, they will kill you.*
"Lesson four. If you give your opponent breathing room, they will kill you."
Whitley became invisible.
Ooh. I like this. He can turn invisible. Now the fun begins.*
Neo shattered, and there was a clash before she appeared again, and shattered.
This went on for two minutes before Whitley was on the ground panting.
"What the hell! He yelled.
You forgot lesson one.*
"She says that you forgot lesson one."
"Like you could do better!" Whitley yelled.
"Tag out." Jason said handing his visor to Weiss and clicking his tongue to see Whitley and Neo.
He walked over to them and held his hand out for Whitley.
Whitley took his hand and stood up before walking over to Weiss.
"Begin." Weiss said.
Neo changed into Weiss thinking Jason wouldn't attack the woman he loves.
Jason pushed off the ground creating a pressure wave and slashing at Neo shattering her illusion.
"Should I be offended that Jason just shattered an illusion that looked like me?" Weiss asked.
Jason spun around and sniffed the air.
He found Neo's scent, and ran at her.
Neo blocked Jason's attack, but not his kick, and was knocked on her back before 'Scarlet' was against her throat.
"Yield." Jason said.
I yield.* Neo signed.
Jason let her up and walked back to Weiss.
He put his visor and, and she grabbed him by the shirt leading him into the house. "We need to talk." She spoke.
Neo made a circle with two fingers and began moving her index finger in and out of the circle.
Weiss pulled Jason into the kitchen. "How many people like her do you know?"
"In what capacity? I'm not sure I understand."
"How many people with her type of skill do you know?"
"A few."
"Well, you are going to tell me all of them. Even if we end up staying up all night."
"I'll make coffee." Jason said.
"And you guys can enjoy a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie." Summer said.
"Ruby says that you make the best cookies." Jason said.
"I don't know about that."
Weiss tried a cookie.
The cookie crumbled leaving a trail of molten chocolate connecting the cookie and Weiss's mouth.
Weiss gasped, and the chocolate fell dripping onto her chin, and hoodie.
Jason walked over to her and wiped the chocolate off her hoodie before showing her.
She took his hand and sucked the chocolate off his finger.
"Try one. Now."
"All right, all right. Twist my arm." Jason said taking a cookie and trying it.
He tasted it, and his taste buds went into chocolate overload.
A strand of chocolate fell on his jacket, and Weiss wiped it off.
"It's only fair I return the favor." She spoke.
Jason licked her finger making it slick with his saliva.
"EW! GROSS!" Weiss yelled going to wipe it off.
Jason ducked behind Summer.
"I'm not getting involved in your flirting." She said with a laugh and ducked out of the way.
Weiss ran at Jason and wiped her finger on Jason's shirt.
Jason reached into the flour and threw a handful at Weiss.
Weiss looked at her hoodie.
"Oh." Jason said. "I guess I didn't think that one through."
He threw another handful at her face.
Weiss blew air out her nose and mouth before looking up at Jason.
"Oh shit." Jason said when he saw half of her face covered in flour.
Weiss created a Glyph and pulled Jason towards her before she threw him onto the table.
Jason grabbed Weiss and rolled her over.
Weiss pushed Jason off of her, and onto the floor.
She grabbed the bag of flour and dumped it on him.
Jason tripped her and caught her before rolling on top of her and getting flour everywhere.
The two rolled on the floor in the flour until they heard someone clear their throat.
They looked up, and saw a very disappointed Summer looking at them, and tapping her foot. "You two are going to clean up this mess."
"Okay." Jason said trying to look chastised but laughed.
Weiss blushed. "Yes ma'am."
They looked around and saw the others looking at them trying to hide smiles.
"Weiss." Whitley asked. "What are you guys doing?"
"Isn't it obvious?" Qrow asked. "They've been bitten by the love bug."
"No." Whitley said. "They were bitten by that before we left Atlas." He shuddered.
Pyrrha laughed an embarrassed laugh. "Unfortunately, Whitley walked in on them during their first night together."
Tai and Summer looked at them in shock.
"What?" Jason asked.
"Are you guy's using protection?" Tai asked.
"Yes." Jason said.
"All the time?" Summer asked.
"Yes. Every time." Weiss said blushing.
Qrow looked worried.
"Don't worry Qrow." Jason said. "Today was the first day we did it when you were around."
"JASON!" Weiss yelled.
"What. He was in the house, and his Semblance is Misfortune. He thinks that the condom might have broken."
"EEP!" Ruby yelled.
Whitley coughed.
Jaune and Pyrrha blushed.
Ren's face remained neutral, but he sucked in a breath.
Nora looked confused.
Neo was grinning maniacally.
Tai and Summer were trying not to laugh at Qrow.
"You're pretty brutal aren't you kid." Qrow said.
"I'll say." Weiss said.
"I grew up around Coral and Loki. You're lucky I'm not..."
Weiss slapped a hand over Jason's mouth. "Don't finish that sentence."
Jason muffled something.
"What?" Nora asked.
"EEK!" Weiss yelled. "He licked me."
No one noticed Neo laughing in the background.
"I said okay." Jason said.
Weiss wiped her hand on Jason's shirt.
"You two still need to clean this place up." Summer said.
"Okay." Jason said grabbing the broom and dustpan.
Weiss grabbed the mop bucket.
"When did you learn how to mop?" Nora asked.
"When Jason and I were cleaning our house." Weiss said.
"YOU GUY'S HAVE A HOUSE!" Nora yelled.
"Yeah." Jason said. "I bought it shortly after we got there."
"You told me you bought it a week before the Gala." Whitley said.
"I lied." Jason said. "I wasn't sure what you would do so I told a white lie."
"Okay."
"Don't take it personally." Ruby said. "Jason tells white lies to people he doesn't know or trust."
"Fair enough."
Jason and Weiss cleaned up the kitchen before going up to their room to clean up.
The next day
Jaune was pacing back and forth. "Oh, Gods. What am I going to do? What am I going to say?"
"Jaune?" Jason asked walking up to him. "What's wrong?"
"Okay look." Jaune said. "I had 'The Vulcans' modified."
"Yeah. So what?"
"So, what!" Jaune yelled. "You mean you aren't mad?"
"Why would I be mad?"
"Because they are yours."
"Jaune. I'm not mad. I gave the 'Vulcans' to you for two reasons. Do you know what they were?"
"To protect Pyrrha during the Fall of Beacon?"
"Yes. Do you know what the other was?"
"No."
"They were my wedding gift. I wasn't sure I was going to make it to your and Pyrrha's wedding, so I gave you it early."
"Really?"
"Yes really. Now why don't you show me the modifications."
Jaune pulled 'Twin Fury' from the sheath on his belt and handed them to Jason.
Jason looked them over.
"Viridian is going to have a shit fit when he sees these."
"What! Why?" Jaune asked worried.
"The guy who made this is old school. He made several mistakes that caused older weapons to break in the middle of a fight. We need to fix it before Viridian sees it."
"What are we going to do?"
"Come with me. Grab the rest of your gear." Jason said leading Jaune to the forge in the Haven armory.
When they got there Jason looked at 'Twin Fury' and began disassembling it.
"Do you see these?" Jason asked showing Jaune gears and pins.
"Yeah. What about them?"
"The material these are made with are poor quality, and would snap, break, or wear down quickly causing the weapons to degrade rapidly, and break when they were needed. So, to fix that we need to repair them with stronger materials."
"Like what?"
Jason began scavenging in the boxes around the armory until he found what he was looking for.
"I have good news and bad news."
"What is it?"
"The good news is that I found the stuff we need. The bad news is that it's all for bigger weapons."
"Then what are we going to do?"
"I'm glad you asked. I can rebuild 'Twin Fury', but I will need something from you."
"What."
Jason looked at 'Crocea Mors'.
The next morning.
Jason woke up and dressed quickly and quietly so as not to wake Weiss.
When he was dressed, he crept out of the house and used a shadow clone to wake Jaune.
Jaune and Pyrrha walked out of the house, dressed and yawning.
"Why did you wake us up so early?" Jaune yawned.
"It's not that early."
"Maybe for you." Jaune yawned again.
"Let's go." Jason said leading them to the armory.
When they got there Jason looked at Jaune.
"How do you want 'Twin Fury' designed?"
"What do you mean?"
"Well. Do you want a sword/pistol, A sword/sniper, a sword, a sword/sniper/twin sword/pistol combo? How do you want it designed?"
"Oh. I would like to keep the sniper rifle, and if at all possible, I'd like to be able to dual wield single edged swords, but I want to keep the dual edged sword and the pistols."
"Okay. How about this?" Jason said showing him a blueprint.
"That looks Awesome!" Jaune yelled in excitement.
"Let us begin." He said taking Jaune's sword and marking a straight edge at the hilt.
That night.
Jason, Jaune, and Pyrrha walked out of the Armory with a two-handed sword in 'Crocea Mors' sheath.
"Ooh." Ruby said. "Can we see it!"
Jaune grabbed the hilt and pulled his Sword from its sheath with the song of metal on metal.
In his hand was a blade the same length as 'Crocea Mors', but it was different than the blade.
Jaune spun the blade threw a training Kata to show off the craftsmanship.
He stopped and grabbed the hilt before pulling it, and bending it down showing the hilt to be pistol grips.
A stock and barrel appeared along the blade, and a butt appeared at the end of the gun.
Finally, an iron sight pointed out of the top, and the stock covered most of the blades on the underside leaving the sniper rifle with a small bayonet.
"WHOA!" Ruby shouted. "That's awesome."
"Want to see what else it can do?" Jason asked.
"It can do more!"
"Yup. Show 'em Jaune."
Jaune pressed a release, and the sniper rifle folded back into the starting position.
Jaune put the sword in the right place, but instead of making it a sword he pulled back on the one in his right hand and the blade separated into twin swords, and he straightened the grips and held two single edged swords.
"What do you guys think?" Jaune asked.
Blood burst from Ruby's nose.
Over the next several weeks Whitley and Neo sparred, and Whitley began showing progress.
He's getting better.* Neo signed. *But he still sucks.*
"He'll get better."
I want Cookie Dough Ice cream.*
"I'll pick some up for you."
Thank you.*
"A thank you? What's next. A compliment?"
Kiss my ass.*
"No thanks."
Neo flipped Jason off.
"No thanks."
Jason left for Mistral. As he left, he saw Jaune and Pyrrha sparring, and saw that Jaune was a serious fighter now. It brought a smile to his face.
He was walking to the store when he saw a group outside a clinic.
"Please!" The one in front was practically begging. "Our leader needs medical attention!"
"Go find someone who cares." The security guard said.
"I care." Jason said walking up to the Team. "Now let them in."
"Do you really think growling at me will make me move?"
Jason lashed out kicking the guard in the knee breaking his knee before spinning and grabbing him by the back of his neck and spinning him into the wall.
"I hate people like you! You make me sick. Come on." He said to the Team leading them into the clinic.
"These people need a doctor!" Jason told the receptionist.
"Of course, sir..." The woman looked at the Team. "We don't treat animals here. You'd be better off going to a vet."
Jason slammed his fist on the table. "HELP THEM DAMN IT OR I'LL MAKE YOU REGRET IT!"
"SIR! IT'S THE CLINIC..."
Jason pulled 'Sunrise' on the nurse. "DO WHAT I SAY OR I START SHOOTING!"
"DOCTOR!" The nurse shouted.
A doctor came out and saw the situation.
"SIR! PLEASE PUT THE GUN DOWN!"
"NOT UNTIL YOU TREAT THEIR LEADER!"
"WE DON'T TREAT..."
Jason shot 'Sunrise' into the air. "NOW DAMN IT!"
"FINE! Back this way."
The Team and Jason went to the back of the clinic.
The nurse took her Scroll out and made a call.
Jason watched the doctor look over the Faunus girl. "Don't get any ideas." Jason threatened.
The doctor looked her over. "I can't find anything wrong with her. What happened?"
"We were walking when she collapsed."
Jason listened to the girl's body. "How much water has she had to drink?"
"Not much. We ran out of water a couple of days ago. We were trying to find a place to refill our canteens and water bottles, but no one would let us in."
"A tragedy really." A suave voice said coming into the room.
"Ha!" The doctor said. "You're in for it now!"
"What are you twelve?" Roman Torchwick asked the doctor.
"Jason." He said extending his hand to shake.
"Roman. You aren't doing your job if they are still discriminating Faunus."
"Whoa, whoa, whoa." Roman said. "I'm trying, but you try and take a kingdom who has a major hate boner for Faunus and try changing them around. It's not easy."
"Fair point. Have you at least made some headway with it?"
"Some. There are some who try and help the Faunus, but then they get discriminated by the haters. It's like taking one step forward three steps back."
"Then maybe we should make an example." Jason glared at the doctor.
The doctor flinched away at the malice coming off of Jason.
"What were you thinking?"
"I have a few ideas."
"By a few ideas do you mean quite a few?"
"Yes. We could burn his clinic to the ground. Feed him to the Grimm. Give him to the White Fang."
"NO!" The doctor yelled. "It would be better for you to kill me than give me to the White Fang!"
Jason and Roman looked at each other.
"I have a better Idea." Roman said. "Seeing as I am your boss, and this guy is my boss." He gestured at Jason. "I'll let him decide your fate."
A 'Dominator' flew into Jason's hand and he shot the doctor in the leg with ice Dust. "Be lucky I showed leniency." He said before leaving.
"Come on kiddies." Roman said. "I'll get you taken care of. Enjoy the rest of your day Roland." He said to the doctor.
When Roman got outside, Jason was gone. "Tch. Just like him to disappear like that. Oh well. This way kiddies."
Jason walked into the store and talked to the ice cream section.
He bought one of every flavor of ice cream and was on his way home when his Scroll rang.
"This is Jason." He spoke.
"JASON!" Ruby yelled. "Mom and Nora just collapsed! I'm not sure what to do!"
"I'm on my way." Jason said cutting a portal in the air and running through it.
He dropped the ice cream on the floor and ran to Summer and Nora.
Summer.
Summer woke up in a void.
"Where- Where am I?"
"Summer Rose!" A harsh voice said. "You have been chosen by the Holy God of light to purify the wicked! Do you accept his power!"
"Wh-What!"
"DO YOU ACCEPT HIS POWER!"
"Why did I get chosen?"
"I don't know why you were chosen, but I want to kill me some heathens! Choose. NOW!"
"Who are you?"
"Gods Assassin! The Guillotine! Angels Dust! Salem's Priest! But you may call me Anderson."
"Anderson?"
"Yes. Now. Do you take his power to protect your family? You would never be taken from them again."
"Yes!" Summer yelled without hesitation. "I lost fourteen years of my daughters lives! I won't be taken from them again!"
"Just what I wanted to hear!"
Nora.
"Nora Valkyrie." A powerful voice said. "I have been sent by the God of Light to offer you my power."
"Ooh. Who's the God of Light?"
"He's technically my father."
"I've never had a father before. What's that like?"
"He's not bad. Though he does not crave violence like I do..."
"What power do you have?"
"I am the Champion of Thunder. I have been sent to..."
"Can you make pancakes?"
"Um. Do you know what I'm offering you?"
"Hopefully pancakes."
"I am offering you power itself. Power over lightning. You would be unstoppable."
"No one's unstoppable. My Team learned that the hard way."
"Did I stutter! With my power you would be able to control lightning itself!"
"You could teach me to be a taser?"
"A what?"
"Ren! Come translate for me!"
"I do not know who this Ren person is, but you are the only other person here."
"What do you need Nora?" Ren asked coming up to them.
"What! How! How did you do that!"
"Do what?" Ren asked.
"Only Nora should be in this void! How did you get here!"
"I'm always with Nora."
"I called her here, and no one else! You shouldn't be here! You can't be here!"
"And yet here I am."
"Fine! You know what. Nora. Take my power. You are worthy."
"How do I take your power?" Nora asked.
The champion of Thunder threw something a hammer at Nora. "Catch."
Neo had reached into the bag of ice cream Jason had bought and grabbed the Cookie Dough ice cream.
She started eating it while the others panicked over their friends.
After two minutes of panicking their friends bolted up right.
"Serve the lord with fear and rejoice with Trembling!" Summer yelled. "Kiss the son lest he be angry, and you perish from the way! His wrath is kindling but a little!"
"You people are so petty." Nora yelled. "And tiny."
"What the hell!" Qrow yelled.
The two women got up and looked around.
When they saw Jason, they bowed. "Alpha." They said in unison. "Lead us into battle like you did all those years ago before we were taken from this planet after the witch took the Abomination."
Everyone looked at Jason confused.
"I'm just as confused as you are." Jason said.
'Then perhaps I might shed a little light on this situation.' The Alpha said taking over Jason's body.
"Long ago. The world was covered by darkness. That is until the brother Gods arrived."
The Alpha used Penumbra Barrage to create a shadow clone of the God of Light and the God of Darkness
"The God of Light created beauty to bring into the world, but the God of Darkness was Jealous of his brothers' creations and would destroy them."
"After this endless cycle of creation and Destruction the God of Light proposed they create a combined creation."
"They added the God of lights creativity and compassion, and the God of Darkness's destructive nature and greed."
The Alpha created a Human and a Faunus
"Their creation was man."
"The Gods watched their creation grow, but the darkness always has a way of sneaking in."
The Alpha created the Grimm.
"The Creatures of Darkness hunted man down and killed them. So, the Gods gave them magic to fight the Grimm."
"Humanity stepped out of the darkness, and into the light where they were safe..."
"Or so they thought."
The Alpha made the Human and Faunus turn against each other.
"Humanity turned against each other."
"In the hopes of keeping their creation alive the brother Gods created seven being of incredible power."
The Alpha showed seven beings.
"The God of Light created the Champion of Light."
A being of immense Light appeared.
"The Thunderer."
A being that controlled thunder and lightning appeared.
"The Purifier."
A being with immense spiritual energy appeared.
"The God of Darkness created the Rider."
A being shrouded in darkness with eyes that burned like a furnace appeared.
"The Speedster."
A being of incredible speed ran around the room before stopping.
"And the Abomination."
A being of immense dark energy appeared.
"The Brother Gods then created a being to lead them..."
A being of immense power that dwarfed all the others appeared.
"The Alpha."
The being was surrounded by a Yin and Yang symbol.
"The Alpha was one being that the others would respect."
The Alpha stood at the front of the group and was flanked by the others.
"The Alpha had the power to fight all of the others, and the others had the power to fight the Alpha."
"The Gods sent them out to the world to protect it from the destruction caused by humanity."
The group was born into bodies, and were awoken on their eighteenth birthdays, and would use their skills and powers to put Humanity back on track.
"When the beings died, they were reborn in a new body and the process started again."
"That is until she was born."
A Beautiful woman appeared.
"Her name was Salem, and her father kept her locked in a tower, and said that only a warrior of pure hear could rescue and marry her."
A man who looked familiar appeared.
"Ozma was a warrior of pure heart, and he was able to rescue Salem."
"They fell in love and were married."
Ozma and Salem stood in front of an alter before the scene transitioned to a house and Ozma carried Salem over the threshold.
"Their lives were perfect, but not for long."
Ozma was laying on a bed while Salem held his hand.
"Ozma became sick and died."
Salem was crying in front of a grave.
"Salem traveled the world searching for a way to bring Ozma back."
"She found the God of Light and begged him to bring Ozma back."
"The God of Light told her that once dead a soul cannot come back, and that she should let him rest."
"Salem went to the God of Darkness and told him that the God of Light said that he couldn't do it."
"The God of Darkness brought Ozma back."
"The God of Light came and demanded to know why Salem asked his Brother when he'd already said no."
"The God of Darkness took Ozma back."
"Enraged, Salem gathered the people, and told them that the Gods had power, and they wanted to keep it for themselves."
"The people gathered together and went to fight the God's."
The Alpha showed humanity being wiped out leaving Salem, the Alpha, and the heralds alive.
"With humanity gone, the God's cursed Salem to walk Remnant for eternity while coming to terms with what she had done, and once she had, she could die."
"Once Salem had left the God's brought Ozma back and gave him four relics with the instructions that when Salem learned compassion and was overcome with guilt over what she has done."
"Ozma traveled to find Salem, and when he did, they began to replenish the earth with the help of the Alpha and Heralds."
"Centuries later Ozma realized that Salem was power hungry and tried to leave with their four daughters."
"Salem caught them sneaking out, and Ozma sent them away with the Alpha."
The current Alpha showed four girls being led away with that incarnation of the Alpha.
"Salem killed Ozma in her rage and went to track down the Alpha."
"Ozma began a cycle of regeneration and was last known as Ozpin."
"By this point the Abomination and Purifier had been reborn into a pair of identical twins."
The Alpha showed a pair of Twin girls with pitch black hair, golden eyes, pale skin, and thin builds.
"Salem caught the Abomination and tortured her to the point of breaking. No one knows how she did it, but she did."
"The Purifier felt her sisters' pain, and both were driven to the point of madness."
"It was after this that the God's took their Heralds from this world leaving the Alpha alone."
"They gave the Alpha one last thing."
"Twelve seals that would open when the Alpha faced a deep emotional loss. With each loss another seal would be broken, and the Alpha would become stronger."
"Once the twelfth seal was broken th Alpha would reach his max potential, and destroy Remnant with his incredible power, killing Salem once and for all."
"Wait." Jaune said. "Why not just break the twelve seals and boom?"
"Because." Weiss said. "The Alpha would have to lose everything precious to them, and do you really want all of us to die just so Salem can die when we have a chance to kill her?"
"No."
"That's why."
"How many seals have been broken so far?" Qrow asked.
"I think it's either eight or ten that have been broken."
"So, we are literally sitting on a Dust keg waiting to blow."
"Yeah."
"I think it would be safer for all of us if we go on thinking that ten of the seals have broken. That way we are more cautious." Tai added.
"Agreed." Ren said.
"Did he say that Ozma is Ozpin?" Pyrrha asked.
"Yes." Whitley said.
"So that means that this fight between them." Weiss began. "Is just a marital spat gone wrong."
"Didn't you hear that she killed him?" Qrow asked. "That straight up murder."
"Salem is a sick and twisted individual and needs to be stopped." Tai added.
"So, what happened to Nora and Mom?" Ruby asked.
"They were chosen to be the Vessels of the Purifier and the Thunderer." The Alpha said.
"What does that mean?"
"It means that we are the chosen few!" Summer yelled. What are we?"
"The necessary evil!" Nora yelled.
"And why are we necessary?"
"To purge the world of evil worse than humanity!"
"And why are we the God of Lights chosen few, ordained to undertake this unholy task?"
"Because no one else will!"
"And because it fu••ing... Wait. Why can't I... S••t! f••k! I can't believe my first vessel back can't swear!"
"Ha! Ha!" Nora boomed. "Looks like the Purifier is a pacifist this time."
"Call me a fu••ing pacifist again you miserable little s••t!" "Summer yelled flicking her wrists sending twin Jagdkommando Daggers into her hands.
The Purifier looked at her weapons. " Righteous! This vessel knows how to pick Weapons!"
"Do you want to go Papist!" Nora yelled grabbing 'Magnhild' and changing it to hammer mode. "It's hammer Time b•••h! Wait! What the H••l! I can't swear either!"
"Ha! Ha!" Summer yelled.
"Silence!" The Alpha yelled.
"Yes sir!" The two women said.
"I brought ice cream that's melting. Now. Go cool down. Away from each other."
"Fine!" The two Women said walking to the bags of ice cream.
"Now that that's over with..."
"I'm going to kill you shrimp!" Summer yelled running after Neo who was holding the bags of ice cream and running away from Summer's daggers.
"Leave enough for me to throttle!" Nora yelled running after the two.
"Ugh!" The Alpha groaned. "I'm getting too old for this shit!"
"And that's what happened." Jason told Team CFVY, and SSN.
"Really?" Velvet asked confused.
"Yes. The Alpha is co-piloting with me now, and that's what happened."
"Wow."
"That's putting it mildly."
"So, Ozpin has been lying to us?" Coco asked.
"I guess so."
"That sucks."
"Yup." Jason said.
"So, what are we going to do?"
"Do you guys still want to go to Atlas?" Jason asked grabbing 'Scarlet Sunrise'.
"Geoff is in Atlas!" Velvet yelled. "I haven't seen him in forever. I'm going to Atlas!"
"Okay, but I warn you. Atlas doesn't like Faunus. I'll send you directly to Geoff."
"How?" Yatsuhashi asked.
Jason cut the air and created a portal to Atlas.
Velvet ran through the portal and jumped through it followed by Yatsu.
Coco and Fox followed.
Coco gave the others a two fingered salute before going in. "See you guys later."
"Bye." Ruby waved.
"That was nice." Weiss said. "Getting to see them again."
"Yeah." Jaune said. "It kind of was."
They looked at Team SSN.
"What are your guy's plans?" Ren asked.
"We're going to stay here and wait for Sun" Neptune said.
"Okay. Where are you guy's going to stay?"
"In our old dorms."
"Okay." Jason said. "You guys can join us for training if you want to."
"Thanks, but we are going to take some time to relax first."
"Okay. Just know that the offer is open anytime you want to spar or train."
With that Team SSN walked towards the Academy.

The Champion of Light is based on Shazam. The Abomination is based on Alucard from Hellsing Ultimate, Specifically Abridged. and the Speedster is based on Batman Red Death from Dark Knights Metal.
