Leonard and Sheldon meet their new neighbour, a blonde haired lady called Bernadette.

The next Thursday
"Good evening, welcome to The Cheesecake Factory, my name in Bernadette. Hello there Dr. Hofstadter and Dr. Cooper, how are you this evening?"
Leonard said "good evening Bernadette, today is 'anything can happen Thursday' so Sheldon has decided that we trying something new."
"How about I get you something to drink and provide some menus?"
Sheldon said "That would be a good way to start."

1 hour later Penny is talking to Bernadette
"Who are those two nerdy looking guys at table 6? They haven't been in here before."
"They are my new neighbours, they are scientists as well. I had better take the check over to them."
Bernadette walked over to Leonard and Sheldon's table.
"Here you are gentlemen, how was that?"
Leonard said "very good" and Sheldon said "acceptable" as they both gave Bernadette some money.
"Thank you very much gentlemen, see you soon."

Friday night Bernadette knocks on the door of 4A
"Good evening Bernadette, won't you please come in?"
"Our neighbour is here, would you care for a hot beverage?"
"Sure, I have come to ask a favour of you. I am working tomorrow but I will be having some flat pack bookcases delivered", she held up a door key, "could you please let them into my apartment?"

Next day Sheldon and Leonard had finally got the last of the flat packs up the stairs.
"Come on Sheldon, nearly there, almost at the top of the stairs."
"These bookcases must be made of osmium?"
"OK, into the apartment, put it down next to the others. Don't drop it!"
The last flatpack fell onto the floor and the packaging opened.
"Its OK, Leonard, only the packaging is damaged, the contents appear to be OK."
"What are you doing?"
"What does it look like I am doing, I am making up a bookcase, I don't want to leave a mess. There is a hammer and a screwdriver in the kitchen cabinet, go get them and I will sort out the parts."
1 hour later Bernadette arrived home to see the front door of her apartment open and her neighbours finishing the construction of the last bookcase.
"I only asked you to make sure the bookcases got delivered, I didn't want you to make them for me!"
Sheldon "OK, so you don't want us to unpack the boxes of books and put them on the shelves?"
Leonard "told you she wouldn't be happy?"
Bernadette "I am not unhappy, just somewhat surprised. I didn't expect this. I shall make some tea for us."
Sheldon "Then can we help unpack the books?"
