Hello again, and I welcome you to this Fanfiction.
As expected, I haven't really gotten any feedback, but that is to be expected. This Fanfiction DOES target such a small audience, after all.
Well, unlike last time, I won't talk your ear off.
Let us begin
I do not own 'Isekai Nonbiri Nouka' and it belongs to its respective owner, as does any other work depicted in this piece of work.
I have been walking around the woods for at least 20 minutes now. It was surprising at first when I sped forwards much faster that I have ever done. I couldn't measure it properly, but I should be going at at least 35 or so Km/H. I haven't really thought of how well the Stats translated to real life, but if 45 DEX can get me to these speeds, then how fast could I become with 100?
These were questions which would be answered later, however.
Other than that, the only interesting thing are the odd ping of a Skill leveling up.
Perk [Forest Ranger] Leveled Up! 4/20
15% to DEX, END and LCK while in a forest. - 20%
6% less likely to be noticed while in a forest. - 8%
Speaking of the devil.
To level up [Forest Ranger], I only needed to be inside a forest at any time. Likewise, [Nature's Friend] needed me to be around hostile creatures. During my trek, I noticed that some Fang Rabbits were looking at me from a distance, but other than that, they didn't move to attack. Because of this, [Nature's Friend] is already at level 3.
Speaking of the Horned Rabbits, they were powerful. Not only that, they were everywhere, too.

All the rabbit's levels were around 60 to 70. Their HP lower than mine at Level 1, but their DEX stat is incredibly high. If one really starts sprinting, I am not able to see them move. Thankfully, they aren't attacking me. I kept the AFT close, tough.
I didn't want to stall around too much, so I just kept my pace.
As for looking for trees, I found the ones I was looking for. The one I was currently eyeing was huge. Easily 70 or so meters tall, and thick enough to house me.
Taking the AFT in my hand, I transformed it into a saw, and started working.
It didn't take long, sincerely. The AFT was something else, as it cut trough the tree as if it was made of paper. When I took a chisel to smoothen the interior, it scrapped away the wood with minimal effort. The only problem was that I had to do everything by hand. Maybe Magic could help me with that?
Another Important thing happened, I got a Skill
Skill Gained
[Architecture] [Passive] LVL 7/100 {Novice}
The Art of creating buildings from base materials.
At this level, the user may create basic structures without problem.
I wondered how I got it. Didn't that make the [Production Perk] tree useless?
[Hint]
Certain Creation Skills which are not too important can be learned normally. The more advanced crafts will not be made into Skills without a Production Perk.
Huh. That was nice to know.
Well, for now, this little place will do for a shelter.

Huh. If you complete the main objective, you lose the chance to complete the side objectives. It should have been obvious, but I will still note that. I leveled up twice from that quest alone, which gave my stats quite the change.

Hmm. I wonder if I will get a perk once CHA hits 150. I want to try it out, but I don't want to spend all of my points on a stat which doesn't affect battle. I will bring CHA to 140, WIS to 60, INT to 80 and spend my remaining points into DEX, bringing it to 90. The remaining ones, I will keep.
I don't feel anything when increasing my stats, but I know I grew faster and smarter as I spent the points. It's weird explaining this.
I also apparently have a DEF stat? I didn't have that last time. Oh, it must be because I am wearing clothes, instead of being naked in the void. Well, how does DEF work?
Hint
DEF reduces DMG by 1 point per DEF point.
OK, then its a simple stat.
Well, now that I have a shelter, I can finally concentrate other stuff.
One of these 'Stuff' is all of the bark and wood I carved out of the tree. This IS the forest of death, so it wouldn't be weird for this wood to be a rare material or something.
Necro-Wood [Material] {Super Rare]
Wood collected from trees that only grow in the Forest of Death.
Thanks to the super high concentration of Magic on the forest, this wood is exceptional at conducting Mana, greatly increasing a magic user's potential if it is carved into a staff.
Can also be charged with magic to make it temporarily harder.
Despite its name, it won't give any bonuses to Necromancers or the Undead.
Like I said. Throwing the two or three tons worth of wood manually would take a long time, however. I should use the secondary mode of the Inventory.
As soon as I activated the alternate mode, a black smudge began to float out of my hands. It was like a snake, only it had no eyes and a very large mouth.
I motioned it over to the huge pile of wood, and it shot forwards. Watching it eat the small mountain of wood in a few bites was almost scary, but it was still welcome. I confirmed the wood was in my inventory, and I turned it off, the snake like smudge retreating back into my hands.
With that done, I was left with nothing left to do. The Quest was done, and I already had shelter. I don't know if I need to eat or drink, but I probably should prepare for it anyways.
Hunting it is.
I haven't seen anything other than Rabbits, but I know for a fact much stronger stuff lies deeper in the forest. The amount of EXP I can get from something like that is very tempting, but if if the 'Bottom of The Food Chain' was insanely fast, I should be more careful. For now, the [Fanged Rabbits] would do for a meal.
There was still some preparing to do, tough. After all, I still have not used a huge part of my move set. I haven't created a single spell!
Well, some say classic is the best. A bolt of lightning would be good for now. It says on the [Class] that I can create spells so long as I can understand how to do it. Well, that was easy.
To create lightning, I only need to mold the Mana in body to Fire and Wind, combine these, and transfer this energy into my hands, more specifically, my fingers. From there, I can just point my hand to my target, and release. Boom, lightning.
... I have no idea where that came from. It is probably that perk; [Mage's Intellect]. Its an easy mode perk, after all.
Skill Gained
[Lightning Bolt] [Active] LVL 5/50 [0%]
Transforming the Mana inside your body into a more Arcane form, you can release super heated air from your hands, which act much like Lightning.
Creates Lightning from your fingers which will travel 30 Meters forward before stopping, which will damage and [Paralyze] an enemy, leaving them unable to move.
Deals 155 + 10 x INT [Elemental] Damage per second to the target.
The target will be [Parallelized] for as long as the attack lasts unless they have a lightning resistance. This effect will last for 5 seconds after the attack has ended.
Costs 15 MP per second to cast
Takes 5 seconds to cast
That is an useful spell.
I might as well create a couple more. Ice is easy to create, I only need to create water from the Mana inside me, and cool it enough to where it freezes. Due to ice being a lot more easy to control than lightning, I can make the ice manifest anywhere, and when I want to shoot it, I can just use a short water jet.
Skill Gained
[Ice Spikes] [Active] LVL 5/50 [0%]
Transforming the Mana inside your body into a more Arcane form, you can release spikes of Ice, which pierce targets and spread starch around the wound.
Creates Spikes of Ice which can be launched at a target.
Deals 120 + 10 x INT [Elemental] Damage to the target.
The Target is afflicted with [Spreading Freeze] which deals 40 damage per second per Spike still in the Target.
Costs 5 MP per spike of Ice Created.
As many Spikes of Ice can be created as the user wants at once. {Form Mage's Intellect}
Takes 3 seconds to cast, with each additional Spike taking an extra second.
Currently, I have a lot of MP, so I can try to make one big spell to try it out. I can't use fire due to it being a forest, but I can use Ice all I want. So...
Skill Created
[Winter's Torrent] [Active] LVL 5/50 [0%]
Using a combination of both the Water Element and the Air Element, you can create a Blizzard wherever and whenever you want.
Creates a controlled Blizzard which has a Diameter of 35 meters.
Deals 440 + 30 x INT [Elemental] Damage to any target inside the blizzard.
If a Target spends more than 5 seconds in the Blizzard, they will get afflicted with the [Starched] status ailment, which will make them lose 10 percent of their HP every 15 seconds, and their DEX stat will be decreased by 40%
If a Target spends more than 15 seconds in the Blizzard, and can't resist it, they will be [Frozen Solid]. This Causes Instant Death, regardless of how much HP the target had.
Costs 147 MP (150 - 2%) per second to cast.
Takes 13.5 seconds to cast
Mana wise, it is really ineffective, but that Instant Death effect could really be useful. Creating it was tricky too, but I won't go into detail about it.
With these new weapons in hand, I stepped out into the Forest and looked around. I decided to use [Stealth] to sneak trough the woods, and I instinctively knew how to best move around to make less noise.
In no time, I had found a Fanged Rabbit.
It hadn't noticed me yet, so I started to cast [Ice spike.] I didn't want to fuck it up, so I made a total of 30 Spikes. I initially had wanted The Rabbit in question didn't move from its spot, so I launched a singe spike in its direction. The action was relatively quiet, but before the Spike could strike, the Rabbit moved out of the way at a speed I couldn't follow with my eye alone. The only way I knew it was coming for me was the white blur I could barely see. I released more and more spikes, forcing the rabbit to dodge around.
Like it said on the Stat Guide, it is just too fast for me to try and aim at, so I should try and predict where it will be next. The problem lies on that I don't know where it is at the moment. I ended up shooting 4 more spikes at where I thought it was, but I missed completely.
If it wanted to, it could have rushed me already, but it is smart enough to know that it will enter the danger zone once it gets too close to me, so it is trying to try and bait me and use all of the Ice Spikes. Smart boy, but that is where it will fail.
I reached into my Inventory, and took out the AFT. As soon as I touched it, the previous white blur which I couldn't keep track of was moving at tolerable speeds. I could see the Rabbit's shocked face as I started to follow it with my gaze, and even more so when I sent forwards my Ice Spikes. It dodged a good amount of them, but one ended up getting him in the end.
Dealt 730 DMG to [Fanged Rabbit]
Bonus 73 DMG Equaling to 803 [Elemental] DMG
[Fanged Rabbit] afflicted with [Spreading Freeze]
[Fanged Rabbit] afflicted with [Devastating Internal and External Injury]
[Fanged Rabbit] is suffering too much [Pain] and can't move!
277/1080 HP [Fanged Rabbit]
The Spike had landed cleanly on the rabbit's torso, and its insides are now outsides. The remaining HP in the bar above the Rabbit quickly began to empty. It took only a couple of seconds before the bar emptied completely, and its squirming body stopped moving.

Please Pick a Production Perk
[Engineer] [Alchemist] [Runesmith] [Gunsmith] [Golem Crafting]
The amount hasn't changed. I probably need to master the ones I already have for more to appear.
I ended up picking the [Alchemist] Perk. The other ones are more Late Game, and this will let me grind it more than the others.
Among other things, I feel much different now. The huge change in stats was weird for a few seconds, but now it feels as if I was always like this. The one main thing I wanted to talk was how my physical skills changed. Mainly, my speed. Where before I was going at speeds which were somehow believable, now I was just speeding trough the forest at blurring speeds. If it wasn't because my reflexes were increased with DEX too, I'm pretty sure I would have crashed trough a tree already. Another thing is that I can perfectly control my Speed and Strength, so I can use as much or as little of these as I want to.
I relaxed, and went back to the place where I killed the Fanged Rabbit. I haven't looted the corpse yet, after all.
I allowed the black sludge to form from my hand again, and sent it towards the bunny, which was eaten in a singe bite.
Loot Obtained
[Fanged Rabbit's Corpse] [Consumable] [Rare]
The skinned corpse from a Fanged Rabbit. The Fanged Rabbit is a being that can kill a grown man in the blink of an eye, which is why most will never be able to eat one. The ones that have, say it is a delicacy, which makes this meat extremely expensive.
[Fanged Rabbit's Magicore] x 2 [Consumable] {Very Rare}
The Magicore of a Fanged Rabbit. Even this small rabbit has an extremely powerful Magicore, which permanently increases DEX upon being consumed.
[Fanged Rabbit's Fangs] [Material] {Very Rare}
The namesake of the Fanged Rabbits. These fangs are extremely sharp, and can easily puncture Iron, even with a Fanged Rabbit's low STR.
[Fanged Rabbit's Hide] x 2 [Material] [Rare]
The hide of a Fanged Rabbit. With their extreme speeds and quick-kill options, these creatures are a force to be reckoned with, but their biggest weakness is that they have extremely low HP for their level. This hide is not very strong, but it is extremely comfortable, which makes it a luxury item to most.
[Weapon Gacha Coin] [Consumable] {Super Rare}
A Gacha coin which specializes in Weapons. You can use this coin to get a random weapon from another Universe.
Can't be Re-Rolled with [Lucky Break]
I am not surprised I got a Gacha Coin already. This is Easy Mode, after all. Of course, I immediately use it.
The One-Cut Killer: Marusame {Akame Ga Kill!} [Legendary]
One of the 48 Imperial Arms created by The First Emperor.
The Marusame is a cursed blade that can kill just about anyone with a single cut. Once the sword cuts into someone, a poisonous curse spreads through the victim's body, killing them in seconds.
There are many practical flaws with such a weapon, but is extremely powerful nonetheless. The user should be careful with this weapon, as it is the very definition of a two edged blade.
Imperial Arms eventually fix any damage done to them, with the exception of the Core being destroyed.
Normally, an Imperial Arm strains on the User's body and mind, but the Player can ignore such a flaw.
The Gamer can wield any Imperial Arm.
Deals 650 + 55 x STR damage [Physical] Damage to a Target.
Upon a the sword cutting into the Target, apply [Poisonous Curse] to the Target.
[Poisonous Curse] will travel up the Target's bloodstream, and will apply Instant Death once it reaches their heart.
This... won't really help me in this universe.
Its extremely strong, don't get me wrong, but there is almost no need for me to kill anyone. With the amount of people that bended over to someone wielding the AFT, a superhuman wielding the thing should give nightmares to some people.
Well, the day is still young, so I should go into a killing frenzy.
Yep, that sounded about right.
You know, some would say I am bad at games for picking easy difficulty, and I would say:
True, but look at these stats tough

(Are you tired of these things? I sure am! At least, I think most of my ideas are original enough, and I didn't just put something like 'This perk doubles your strength!' or something like that. Do comment if I should do this kind of thing, or just ignore it.)
I could say without certainty that I should not have this amount of power within a single day. I never should have attained this in this little time, yet, I could have done it more. The only thing which stopped me was the fact that everything in the forest has gone into hiding. It seems the animals around the forest noticed my killing spree and decided to just hide.
I found a lot of different animals. All of them incredibly deadly, mind you. The [Cross Bear] depicted in the series was one of the few foes that could actually pose a challenge. Because its fur was too thick for the Marusame to cut trough due to my low STR stat, I had to resort to using the 15 seconds for [Winter's Torrent] to Insta Kill it. Of course, I could have just used the AFT, but that felt kind of cheap.
In any case, those CHA skills are looking as OP as ever. I mean, with [Godly Appeal] and [Love At First Sight], wouldn't that make it so everyone I meet falls under [Love At First Sight]? Something worth trying out with Ru. Speaking about Ru, didn't she arrive here after a year or so? I think it was something about her running away after causing some mischief or something. A full year before anything worth mentioning happens sounds so boring to wait for.
"Should I just look for Ru at this point?"
"You keep talking about this Ru person, aren't I enough for you" A voice sounds out in my mind, and I know exactly who that is.
"Did I say that out loud? Actually, don't answer that." A few hours ago, Gaia started to hang out in my mind. I don't know what to think about the personification of this world hanging out around and having casual conversations with it, but it has been surprisingly pleasant.
"The only Ru worth mentioning is Ru Rurushi, and she's a vampire. I hate her kind, always so full of themselves. Their ancestor is not the worst, but all the rest are a bunch of scumbags." Well, it makes sense considering they are Undead and she is the personification of the World, and thus, Nature.
"Do you know where she is? I have a few things I would like to ask her." Well, that's a blatant lie.
"Well, that's a blatant lie, but very well. I can't feel Undead, but I can access the memories of other living memories which have seen her. Apparently, she is causing trouble on a Human Country called Garlet. Well, that doesn't sound rare coming from her.
Huh. Well, going over there should be easy enough, but, wouldn't that change the story?

"Huh. Thanks, Gaia"
"You are welcome."
A quest, huh. Well, I won't go tomorrow to do it. I have full intentions to do it, look at those rewards, but I want to first get some things done here.
For now, I want to practice my Summoning anyways. I did found something very sweet, after all.
Now that I am home, I can sit down and explain some things. Oh, I created a chair and table off camera. I didn't go into creative, but I might as well be...
Anyways!
When I got the [Summoner] and [Ninja] class, I got a couple of new skills. I won't bore you with the details, but there are two I want to show you right now.
[Summon] [Active] LVL 10/100] [0%]
You summon a creature from your current world, use a [Summon Card] to summon a specific individual, or use a [Summoning Guide] to access summoning to all creatures from another universe.
Where [Summon Cards] are single use, [Summoning Guides] can be used definitively. The catch is that [Summon Cards] can be activated as long as you have enough MP, and for summoning trough a Guide you will need a specific LVL on the [Summon] Skill.
Upon activating [Summon] a list of creatures The Gamer has access to is shown. Depending on the nature of the Summon, the player may need to offer materials to complete the [Summon].
Summons can't gain EXP, unless specified otherwise, or under [Soul Link]
Creatures or Individuals summoned by The Player start with MAX Obedience, and can't disobey them. Particularly clever individuals can find loop holes to your orders, so caution is advised. Reputation and Affection gain as normal.
These Summons only disappear upon Death.
[Soul Link] [Active] [LVL 10/10] [0%]
Summons come with fixed levels, and these can't be changed normally, as these don't have a Soul. Therefore, their gain of EXP is nullified. There is a way around this, however. If you are able to grant them a soul, they will be grounded on reality, and start gaining EXP.
As you can imagine, creating a Soul can be very difficult. However, if you have this skill, you know how to do it, if at a high MP cost.
Depending on the strength of the individual, MP cost can vary.
Essentially, I can get minions out of [Summon]. Not only that, I can get minions from other universes. In my looting, I found a couple of very interesting things which may or may not have swayed what class I choose. Well, its better I show you.
Summoning Guide (Re:Zero) {Legendary}
A guide which explains how to tap into reality and summon characters and creatures from another universe. This one seems to focus on Re:Zero. Naturally, Characters from this universe are particularly deadly and clever, so watch out for who you summon.
Need [Summoner Class] to use
Summoning Guide (Ninja Gaiden) {Legendary}
A guide which explains how to tap into reality and summon characters and creatures from another universe. This one seems to focus on Ninja Gaiden. From Fiends to Ninjas, your possibilities are endless when it comes to summoning creatures. Most Lesser Fiends will not mind serving you, but you must keep an eye on low Reputation Higher Fiends.
Need [Summoner Class] to use
Summon Card (Jeanne d'Arc - Alter (Fate Grand Order))
Single Use card which summons a specific individual from another multiverse. Unlike Summoning Guides, to use this you only need enough MP to activate the card.
Where Jeanne d'Arc was a Saint of the highest degree, Jeanne Alter is a being spurred by vengeance alone. This version of her was created after Gilles de Rais wished upon the grail she be resurrected as 'A holy woman who talks about justice as if she owned the place, and without having any doubts about that, is spurred on by the wrath against the people.'
Because of this wish, this version of Jeanne is extremely cruel to others, and her sainthood is barely visible. She believes in god, yet there is no faith on that belief. She harbors distrust towards her comrades, and dislikes the act of 'having faith'.
Because of these particular traits, having this Jeanne as a true ally and not a puppet could be tricky, but it is not impossible. Her quest of revenge against France is all but impossible now, so at summoning she will be more mellowed out than normal.
The real problem would be making her trust people other than The Gamer.
To activate this card, you must have the [Summoner Class]
Summon Card x 2 (Rindou Kobayashi (Food Wars)
Single Use card which summons a specific individual from another multiverse. Unlike Summoning Guides, to use this you only need enough MP to activate the card.
Rindou Kobayashi is not a Fighting Summon, but a Servant Summon. An expert when it comes to exotic dishes, she is former 2nd seat of the Totsuki Academy Elite Ten Council. In her universe, this means she is one of her generation's best chefs.
A whimsical girl who likes to take things slow and at her own pace. She may be confused when first being summoned, but will undoubtedly find this amusing once she figures out what is happening. When it comes to Summons, she is one of the more 'Beginner Friendly' ones.
Because of her personality, she will find this amusing and go along with it. The only way she would be opposed to you is if you challenge her morals. Other than that, increasing her Reputation should be easy. Increasing her affection is what most will find trouble at.
To activate this card, you must have the [Summoner Class]
Yep. I found these while killing some animals on the forest. Its a shame I didn't get [Treasure Collector] earlier. I am curious as to what would happen if I use the two [Summon Cards] for Rindou. Would I get two exact replicas, or would I get two different versions of her? Questions for right now!
I took the Jeanne card from my inventory, and began to fill it with magic. It wasn't a lot, if I'm being sincere, just under 50,000 MP.
The card shinned more and more as I filled it with magic, and then shot out of my hand and in front of me. It then began to crack, and after a little explosion which kicked up dust, in front of me was the distinctive figure of Jeanne Alter. She was kneeling on the ground with her head looking at the ground.
I couldn't see her face, as she was looking at the ground, but she seemed to be happy for some reason.
"Servant, Avenger, Summoned upon your re-" Until a few moments ago, she was looking at the ground, but as soon as she looked up towards me, she stopped.
[Love At First Right] Activated!
Target: Jeanne d'Arc - Alter
CHA / WIS
Rolling...
Critical Hit!
Reputation increased by MAX (50 x 2 {Lady Killer})
Affection increased to MAX (60 x 2 {Lady Killer})
So it was because of [Love At First Sight]. Well, that's neat.
Jeanne d'Arc - Alter
Level - 150
Title - The Dragon Witch
Class - Avenger
Race - Human {Heroic Spirit}
Alignment - Chaotic Evil
HP - 90,000
MP - 98,000
DEF - 9,500
STR - 560
END - 650
DEX - 490
INT - 730
WIS - 670
LCK - 240
Reputation - 100 - Complete Trust
She has just met you, yet she feel comfortable at the thought of leaving her life to you. She should be suspicious, she knows this, yet she really doesn't. To have suspicions of you feels... wrong.
Affection - 100 - Madly In Love
She knows nothing about you. Neither your positives or your flaws, yet she can't stop her heart from beating out of her chest. She loves you, and couldn't stop herself from loving you even if she wanted to.
Obedience - 100 - Complete Control (Locked}
The summoning ritual has left enough free will for her to act on her own, but she can't disobey your orders.
Because of her REP and AFF stats, she will follow your orders to the best of her abilities, and will strive to impress you in her tasks. Chance of betrayal is practically 0.
I have been reading this while Jeanne is sputtering incomprehensible words, looking at the ground, her complexion as red as a tomato. So [Love At First Sight] and [Lady Killer] stack like that. I sincerely didn't think about that when I saw the skills. Aren't I supposed to be super smart or something?
In any case, now I have Jeanne Alter in front of me, which now apparently loves me.
Huh. Neat.
Things... have changed. I can feel it, the huge pillar of magic out there.
I have lived for countless years. So many, in fact, that I have to erase my memories periodically to not go insane. Yet, in the few memories I have of past times, never have I experienced something like this. Its just not something you can forget.
Its north, this pillar, and its growing. A couple of hours ago, I had just began to feel it. Now its something which overwhelms my senses. I would go investigate, but sincerely, I am scared. As would anyone, if they could feel it. I suspect that I am one of the only ones capable of sensing this magic storm, as not just anyone is as attuned with magic as I am.
The point of what I am trying to say is: Things are about to change.
For better or for worst.
Important! I went back to the first chapter and added some background on how Stats work, as well as correct some things. If you want to see that, its just a click away.
This is one of the longest chapters I have ever written, but I am kinda disappointed almost all of it is just status windows. I could have written so many different skills which he gained, but I decided against it in the end. If you are curious as to that (Which I doubt anyone is) I am going to write all of that on a summary chapter somewhere in the future. I AM keeping track of all the skills and perks, its just that I doubt anyone cares too much about that kind of stuff.
I do believe, as a story, this is so broken. The main character got insanely strong, even for the kind of stuff that I write. Even then, it was kind of fun to poke at my head, thinking of what kind of Perks would make sense in a normal progression arc. I do think that they make sense if he were actually playing on normal, or on a normal difficulty world.
Something I realized while writing this story is what I think is the reason I haven't found Fanfiction on this story is that there is not a concrete goal. In some Isekai, you at least have a goal which the protagonist wants to archive. There is no such thing in this story, which is why I'll have to make one to make the story at least bearable. As to what this goal is, well, I guess you'll have to keep reading.
Like I have mentioned before, if you were hoping for a good story, you are far better looking somewhere else. If you dislike how the story is going, its just going to be this for the rest of the story.
Other than that, I have nothing left to say.
Adieu
PD. I swear, next chapter I am going to get the story moving. This was more of a set-up chapter than anything.
