Chapter 2: New Proposition
As Carrie sat on her bed in her cell, while looking at her reflection of her new body, she was still having horrible visions and nightmares that felt familiar, but no memory, as well as them being blurred mostly…
Just then, Carrie heard and noticed a door outside her cell opening, as Eggman in his Egg mobile came in…
"Why good morning, my dear Carrie." Eggman greeted her young hedgehog girl, who's mind was still foggy…
"Wh-Why did you call me that? W-Who-Who are you?" Carrie asked nervously…
"Why I am Dr Ivo Robotnik, but everyone calls me 'Eggman' especially that speedy blue slime ball of a hedgehog Sonic." Eggman replied with anger about his worst enemy. "I can see you don't seem to remember anything, especially your former self…"
"My former self? Who am I? What am I even?" Carrie asked again nervously with fear, fright, and confusion.
"You are my latest and greatest creation, ever since you died, I managed to use many of the inventions of my grandfather to reincarnate your body, and bring you back to life…" Eggman replied in his normal tone, as Carrie became more and more confused…
"But why? If I was supposed to be dead, why bring me back? Why not just let whoever I am or was rest in peace?" Carrie continued asking confusion and worry.
"Lets just say, after learning of what had happened to you, as well as the causes, I felt it was wrong for what happened… so as I'm a scientist and inventor, I believed that you deserved a second chance in life, so I took this chance for you, and brought you back to life, in a new and more powerful body…" Eggman replied, while mimicking a kind and polite attitude, to manipulate Carrie.
"But also, as a result of reincarnating you, and you not remembering yourself, I have a proposition for you: If you help me defeat those who have constantly messed about with me, especially Sonic and his friends, I will help you find your memories and get them back, what do you say to that Carrie?" Eggman asked her.
For a minute Carrie was nervous, not sure if she could trust Eggman, but if this was a chance for her to find out who she was and what had happened to her, she was desperate…
"Ok then Ivo, I accept your offer." Carrie replied nervously.
"Glad to hear Carrie." Eggman replied, as he then let Carrie out of her cell, before showing her to a compartment, which revealed containing a dress, gloves and boots, matching Carrie's stripes and tips, and eyes.
The dress was a Pearl Pink with Bright Blood Red Trim, looking very much like a sleeveless Prom dress. The gloves were Pearl White, with Pearl Pink & Bright Blood Red trim and blood drop glowing tattoos above the knuckles, and metallic Blood Red wrist inhibitor rings, matching them. The boots were knee high Pearl Pink with Bright Blood Red trim, matching the dress, but with Pearl White Jet skate soles.
"Consider this the first part of the deal." Eggman said, as Carrie then gasped, as more horrible images replayed through her mind… "Is something wrong Carrie?"
It's nothing." Carrie replayed as she snapped out of it, and then changed into her new attire…
Once Carrie changed into her new attire, she felt a strange and familiar sense within, but could not remember anything still…
"Well then Carrie, let us prepare you for taking on Sonic and his friends." Eggman said with determination to defeat his greatest foe, and all those alongside him.
"Ok then." Carrie replied, still confused and nervous, but willing to do whatever it takes to get her memories back…
