Thunder rumbled outside the borders of the camp. Thalia.
"She's after revenge Percy, just go out there and get it over with! This storm is distracting me!" Annabeth sighed, a faint smile contradicting her impatient words.
"I-"
Just then, a silver arrow sprouted from the wooden support Percy was leaning against in the amphitheater. Thalia stormed, (get it?) into the area, smirk on her face and a predator's gleam in her eyes.
"You're on, Kelp Head."
"Bring it, Pinecone Face."
Lightning flashed again, and the rain poured another round of watery buckshot onto camp. All the puddles on the floor dropped themselves onto the daughter of Zeus. Soon, a stormy microclimate was swirling in the centre of the amphitheater, water drenching both of the focused, yet playful teens. On the two went, trapped in their own little bubble of competition. Clashing blades, rumbling thunder, and splashes of water.
Annabeth sighed.
POP
"Ha." Gloated Thalia. "Water conducts electricity, Dumbo."
"My book is wet."
