A/N:Hi guys! Sorry for the long wait! I meant to update the story a couple of days ago but I got super busy! I promise to try update as often as I can. This chapter is short, but they will be longer I promise. (And to answer your question, yes Draco and Hermione became friends quick. Blood purity doesn't matter to me in my stories)
Chapter 2
"What?" Theo asks. "Our parents gave me up when we were born." She explains. "Oh wow…they don't know you huh?" Theo asks. "No…they don't…are you upset?" Hermione asks. "Upset? No! I have a sister!" Theo says in shock. Hermione giggled. "God…you have mum's giggle and smile." Theo says. "Really?" Hermione asks. "Yeah." Theo says. Soon everyone came back into the common room. "You told him?" Draco asks. Hermione nods. "Wait! Told Theo what?" Pansy asks.
"She's my twin sister." Theo says. "What?" Pansy asks. "Yeah…our mum and dad gave me up when we were born." Hermione explains. "They never explained why?" Astoria asks. "No…I think my parents received an owl when I was younger. I'm not quite sure." She says sitting down. "Why don't you ask them then? I'm sure they would tell you." Daphne says. "I could ask them. It won't hurt right?" She asks the group for their opinion. "Go for it!" The group says.
"Draco? Can I use your owl to send the letter?" Hermione asks Draco. "Of course Granger." Draco says. "Hey Daph? Can we hang out in Hogsmeade this weekend?" Hermione asks Daphne. "Sure girly." Daphne says. Two other Slytherin girls walk in. "What about us?" Astoria and Pansy ask. "You two can come as well. And hey? Is it alright if Ginny Weasley come with?" Hermione asks. "Of course Ginny can come!" The three Slytherin girls say. "Thank you." Hermione says. "Now…write the letters to your mum and dad. Also will you write a letter to Theodore Sr and Lily?" Daphne questions.
As Hermione thought about what Daphne had asked her. "I could write them." She says. "Do you want to know them?" Pansy asks. "I do…I'm just not sure how Richard and Jean will react." Hermione says. "Who?" Pansy asks. "My adoptive parents Pans…keep up." Hermione says. "Sorry." Pansy says. "It's okay Pansy. Now you guys go get ready for bed." Hermione says. "Wait…Do you know Theodore Sr and Lily's address?" "No I don't." Hermione sighed. Astoria wrote it down for her. "Thanks Tori." Hermione says as the girls went off to bed.
'Dear Richard and Jean (Dad and Mum), Why did you keep it a secret for so long? I met him you know…my twin brother,Theodore Nott Jr. He likes to go by Theo. I wish I knew my brother growing up. I'd like to think you guys were protecting me. I'd love for you to meet Theo. And then my biological parents if you are willing to cooperate. I love you both very much. Sincerely,Hermione.'
She wrote the letter to her adoptive parents and decided to write the other letter later. She went to her dorm and went to bed. When she woke up the next morning,she could hear talking in the common room. The person she could hear talking was Theo. "How does it feel to have a sister mate?" Blaise asks. "Amazing. Even though I just found out not even 24 hours ago, I love having Hermione as my sister." Theo says. Hermione smiled softly.
She got dressed and she headed to the common room. "Morning boys." She murmured. "Good morning Hermione." Theo and Blaise say. "Morning Granger." Draco says. "Where are the girls?" Hermione asks. "Probably already in the Great Hall for breakfast." Theo says. "Well lets hurry then." Hermione says. The boys groaned and they headed to the Great Hall.
When they arrived at the Great Hall, they saw Harry,Ginny, Fred and George. "Let's go sit over there." Hermione says, pulling Theo and Draco along. "Ease up on the grip sis." Theo says. "Sorry Theo." Hermione says. They sit down. "Morning Hermione." Fred and George say. "Morning boys. Now I want to introduce you to my twin brother…Theodore Nott Jr." Hermione said softly as she gripped Draco's jumper.
"Twin brother?" The group echoes. "Yes..I was adopted by Richard and Jean Granger when I was born." Hermione says. "Wow." The group murmurs. "Yeah…I was really shocked that they kept it from me." Hermione says. "Theo? How do you feel about the situation?" Ginny asks. "I'm okay with it actually. Hermione is an amazing sister." Theo says. "Thanks Theo." Hermione says as Professor Dumbledore announced it was time for classes.
"Come on Mione." Harry says as he grabs her hand. "Ease up Harry. I'm coming." Hermione says. They head to Arithmancy. "Why did I choose Arithmancy?" Harry groaned. "I don't know…I know why I chose it." Hermione says. "Because you wanted an extra class?" Harry asks. "Partially true. I want to have an extra class to raise my O.W.L test scores." Hermione says. Harry chuckled and mumbled, "Only you Hermione."
Soon their Professor walked in and began teaching. "Good morning class." Professor Vector said. "Morning Professor." The class murmured. Professor Vector began teaching the curriculum. "Now you will be working on problems 70-120. You can ask your partner if you require help." Professor Vector said while putting out her wand,and she levitated a stack of papers to desk to grade. Each student began working quietly. "Mione? Help me with this one?" Harry asks. "Sure." Hermione says helping him the question he was stuck on.
"Thanks." Harry says. Soon they were both done with their work. "You two are free to go." Professor Vector murmurs as they bring their work up. Soon they both headed back to their own dorms. "See you later?" Harry asks. "Yeah…there's a Quidditch match today right?" "No. That's tomorrow..it's Gryffindor Vs. Slytherin. You're still coming right?" Harry asks her.
"Of course Harry..I'll just be sitting with Slytherin…I'm not choosing sides either." Hermione says. "I never said you had to choose sides..who told you had to choose?" Harry asks. "Ron." Hermione says. "Ron's just being a git. Now go get some rest." Harry says. "Okay." Hermione says and she went to the Slytherin common room. When she arrived in the common room, she went straight to her room and she began writing the letter to Theodore Nott Sr and Lily Nott.
'Dear Theodore and Lily, I am Hermione Jean Granger. You see I was given up for adoption when I was born. My birthday is December 8th,1979…that might mean something to you…I met Theo…my twin brother. I'd love to meet my biological parents if you are willing to meet me. Sincerely Hermione Jean Granger.' Hermione finished the letter quickly and summoned Draco's owl muttered 'Send to Mum and dad and Send to Theodore Sr and Lily Nott as well.' and she sent both off.
