Chapter 2
Sullivan Estate
Dawn landed on the Netherworld, giving way to a new day with the sounds of birds chirping outside Lord Sullivan's Manor. That if those things were birds at all.
Iruma was wide awake in his bedroom, analyzing every single speck of it, unable to return to sleep due to his situation.
"No dice trying to think of what-ifs. This is my new reality." He conceded. Like Uriel had told him, he was to act as their secret asset in the meantime until further notice. He just hoped he could pull it through. This was no easy task.
Knock knock!
Iruma heard someone knock on his room and without a response from him Sullivan made himself at home
The powerful elder demon strolled throughout the bedroom, greeting his new grandson.
"Morning, Iruma-kun!"
"Did you have a good sleep?" The senior demon asked while Iruma noticed a another individual standing at the door, carrying some kind of luggage.
"Yeah. It was kind of... good." He meekly commented, scratching his head. It was actually but he had too many things in his head to just sleep soundly in this place.
"Well, then, change up. This is your new first day of school and as my precious grandson I will be making sure that you see it fulfilled." Sullivan exhorted his grandson. This was an one-time experience for his family that may never come again.
Underworld
It was all really strange for Iruma. The landscape was very tricky to the eye to say the least. He could see mountains doting the lands like an endless ocean but some areas were here and there were weird — gravity speaking.
It looked like some parts of the Underworld were literally floating but the how Iruma did not know.
The teen was holding a briefcase of some kind that his new grandpa has bestowed upon him.
Currently, he was with his grandfather and their housekeeper — Opera on the road to school.
Across his position was a road sign of some kind that he couldn't read of.
Not because he didn't know how to but because it was written in Demonic.
Everything here was in Demonic and he only could read Latin, Hebrew and Japanese as of late.
'How I wished I have taken that course at Demonic Alphabet. Relax, Iruma. You can understand their language for now. As long as you don't stand out too much you will be fine' Iruma reminded himself calmly while his adoptive grandfather Sullivan was instructing their housekeeper Opera in how to take them a photo for their family album.
"My grandson's first day in school! I have to make sure that this moment will be forever recorded, Opera." Sullivan grievously said while his servant only nodded in reply. Then, Sullivan looked at the teen who looked like he wanted to be anywhere but here.
"Stand over there, Iruma." He pointed his wrinkled finger to the signboard.
"Next to t-this?" Iruma asked for confirmation.
Suddenly, the words in the signboard changed, forming a perfectly understandable sentence before Iruma's surprised eyes.
Iruma looked back at his grandfather who looked smug, noticing how his hand glowed in purple.
'The old man did it again'
"Read it now, Iruma-kun." Sullivan requested to Iruma who did as told.
"School entrance ceremony." Iruma read it out loud.
"Uhum."
"It's ready, Sullivan-sama." Opera informed Sullivan, holding the camera in angle, ready to take a photo.
"Well, then. Let's get that photo before getting late." Sullivan reached for Iruma and posed for the photo, doing the "666" hand sign.
Iruma noticed this but commented nothing.
That sign was truly offensive for holy beings like him, symbolizing the Anti-Christian sentiment that all demons share.
But even so the angel teen played it cool. Other angels might have been downright disgusted at it and would have responded in accord to said offense but he wasn't like most of them. Not a penny.
Iruma just raised his two fingers all while giving a smile.
Click!
"Let me see... this is perfect, Opera-san. I will treasure it for all my life." Sullivan brought the photo to his chest, smiling wide before sniffing quite loudly.
"Are you crying, grandpa?" Iruma asked him, noticing how his newest caretaker's eyes looked hazy.
"No, Iruma. Something just got in my eye." Sullivan swiftly responded before regaining his past behavior.
Iruma sweatdropped at the excuse. And people still claimed that he was an horrible liar.
"We are going to be late, Lord Sullivan." Opera said before they wasted more time, steering his master in the right direction.of things.
It was successful.
"Ready, Iruma-kun." Sullivan turned to Iruma who looked surprise before conceding.
While on the road to school, Iruma managed to reach his household butler to try to do small talk since Opera was the only one that he hadn't strike conversation yet.
One of the problems for Iruma was that the teen didn't know how to refer to his silent housekeeper, striving not to be disrespectful. It was a difficult guess, since Opera looked partly feminine and partly manly.
'How should I start? I wonder if androgynous has a noun...'
"Ah, erm... Opera-san?"
"Yes, Iruma-sama." Opera looked down at the angel, waiting to hear his order or question.
"The school is...?" Iruma asked since they have been walking non-stop and wondered if they were getting near it at least.
"Over there." Iruma looked in the pointing hand's direction to see as like some trick of magic the clouds concealing the rest of the road ahead dispersed to reveal its treasure in their grasp.
A massive castle stood over all mountains, levitating from the ground no doubt thanks to ancient dark arts.
"Wooow!" Iruma could not help to be awed. The structure could have been constructed by his race's sworn enemies but that fact did not take away or diminish its magnificence in any way.
"That's your new demon school, grandson. Babyls." Sullivan smugly commented, satisfied with his grandson's reaction to it.
Iruma gaped at the huge structure before noticing as several shadows stood over him. At first, he thought of them as birds or clouds but when he caught sight of what it really was his eyes nearly got out of his sockets.
'More of them!?' Iruma could only watch with slight dread as hundreds of demons were flying above his position.
All of Babyls students were flying their way to school.
Iruma suddenly got frightened, he had never seen so many demons in one place.
'Only in the Limbo...' That was in the past now however.
Sullivan noticed how his grandson looked fearful and decided to cheer him up, not knowing the true reason for his nervousness, thinking of him as human.
"Don't worry, Iruma-kun. Remember what I told you. I will always be there for you." The elegant demon patted him, trying to ease his worries.
Iruma gulped down before responding.
"Okay, ojii-chan."
'I will never get tired of hearing him say that.'
"Shall we continue, Lord Sullivan?" Opera offered, bringing the the elder demon amongst them to it's bearings.
Opera didn't know how a Yodh ranking demon such as Sullivan could have the attention span of a sparrow.
Without answering, Sullivan began to walk as Iruma followed him.
Babyls Demon School
"Well, here we are." Opera said once they over the school gates, waiting for further instructions from his liege.
"Go on, Iruma. I've some preparations to attend first so I will catch up with you later." Sullivan told Iruma.
"Thanks, grandpa." Sullivan ruffled his hair before puffing out of existence, using magic to fast-travel.
"Opera-san?" Iruma looked to his right to see his housekeeper and if he or she would stay.
"Have a nice day, Iruma-sama." Opera bowed, letting his young new master know that he was on his own for now.
"See you at home, then."
While walking through the crowd of students, Iruma noticed how these demons looked so much different from the ones he had faced in the past. Strangely, this ones looked less evil as mess up it sounds.
'Perhaps it comes with the age...' Iruma could only ask himself why demons couldn't be like the one who bought him. Maybe they could even stay on friendly grounds with his kin.
"Hey, you."
"Can I-I help you?" Iruma turned to look as a teenager in black garments called him out. He was surrounded by other wearing the same outfit.
"That's the wrong way. The Auditorium is over there." The student in black and red garments told him making Iruma let out a sigh in return. These people were must be welcome committee or something like that.
"Thank you, umm... just thank you." Iruma mumbled a little embarrassed since he didn't know to refer to his new colleagues and calling them "Demon-san" would be a dead giveaway to his identity.
While walking through the Courtyard, Iruma noticed as the demons mingled with themselves much like the people of Earth. Never in Iruma's mind have devils looked so human than right now.
Suddenly, an image of Uriel crossed his conscious and he returned to his sense, reminding himself to why was he here.
Right now, his sole objective was survival.
So taking a deep breath, Iruma steeled himself and entered the Auditorium.
He had to be strong. Uriel-senpai and God were counting on him.
Babyl's Auditorium
"Oi, something smells oddly clean here?
Iruma heard the massive thing next to him comment to no one in particular. The angel could not for his life decipher what kind of being was sitting next to him but he grew nervous every second that he passed. Whatever that thing was, it looked big and terrifying.
The situation only got worse with the sniffing of those more humanoid-looking devils that stood close to him, following the comment of the giant furry creature.
'Of all the seats. I had to sit next to these brutes...'
"You are right. I think it comes fr—" One was about to speak his mind off in the subject when suddenly a booming voice made itself present.
"Silence!"
Everyone in the room went silent as a violet-haired professor in the front of the room spoke aloud, known by the more senior students in Babyls as the one Naberius Kalego.
Finally, Iruma managed to relax a little, noticing how his current neighbors have forgotten of the current topic and were focusing now on the stage.
Then, Dali Dandalion began to spoke through the microphone.
"Thank you for waiting. At 6:06, the Demon School of Babyls formally begins the Entrance Ceremony." The brown-haired demon announced as the clock in the wall marked that exact same hour.
"All present, stand up!" Iruma watched as all the demons in the room stood on their legs, quickly micmiking their actions himself.
"Everyone will sing Babyl's School Anthem."
Iruma frowned at the order before all those surrounding him began to sing aloud.
"Humans wholly are our food."
"Eat their souls, blood and meat —"
'Well, props to them for not talking about angels there...' Iruma thought, not taking part in the anthem singing.
It would be a terrible sin for him to do so. It was such a nasty, violent song and one made of devil beings. Doing so could leave him in a bad end with God.
Iruma clenched his mouth shut as the anthem continued, standing silent and defiant, showing subtly to everyone where his loyalty stood strong. It was a small gesture but it spoke volumes.
And angels were known to be a loyal batch.
"—without leaving anything behind."
"The flapping sound of black wings."
The voices of hundreds of demons echoed inside the Auditorium while Iruma just prayed it to be over.
"To those who tremble we are the demons."
"The song that spills from red mouths. Let sing out loud, all of you — we are the demons."
With that final strophe, the song was over as all demons started clapping wildly and Iruma joined in their actions.
Thankfully due to his smaller frame, no one noticed that he did not partake in the song therefore bringing him unwanted attention and trouble.
"Next, the principal's speech." Dali announced, leaving the podium for the principal of Babyls to take his place instead.
Iruma heard as the crowd of students began to cheer for the supposed director.
"Yeah, the next Demon King." That comment took all of Iruma's attention, trying to find in the crowd whoever had said it but he could not.
Iruma have only ever heard of the Demon King from the whispers of the archangels and God's history lessons and according to it, the Demon King was supposed to be the strongest demon in all of hell.
He could only wonder if the mysterious principal of this school was such a powerful demon.
"Iruma-kun!" A voice talked through the microphone as Iruma looked up to the stage once again to see his grandfather waving his hand wildly in his direction
'It's grandpa!' Iruma's jaw was left hanging open in shock. His adoptive kidnapper was the principal of this place.
'No way he is Demon King material' Iruma had seen how his grandpa acted and he could not see any kind of link with the random's student statement.
However, the angel teen still looked petrified seeing his grandfather on the stage. This was bad indeed.
Following Sullivan's public greeting of his grandson, all of the senior students began to ask among themselves. They were curious since they never heard that their chairman had family whatsoever.
"Iruma...?"
"The principal has a grandson...?"
'Please, grandpa. Don't do this to me' But his thoughts fell of deaf ears.
"That's right." The principal of Babyls addressed his students, going on a rant of Iruma and how awesome he was.
The boy in question just looked embarrassed at being singled out from everyone.
"Here is a picture of him." Sullivan grabbed a massive photo that he hid in the podium, exposing the identity of his grandson for the whole Netherworld to see. He could not help it, he was a very proud grandparent.
"Da da da, I am screwed." Iruma muttered, covering his face but it did not avail. His grandpa had practically drawn a bullseye on his face by this point.
"Isn't that him?..." He heard the one talking about his smell before speak, no doubt looking down at him but the angel didn't dare to look.
"I will send everyone a copy later. So with that said, bye." Sullivan ran off the stage, leaving Iruma exposed and feeling like a small fish inside a shark tank.
'Kill me, please...'
For some arduous moments, Iruma had to endure the whole room talking about him until Dali decided to take the spotlight for once, saving the teen angel from more peer pressure.
"Next, a speech from the freshmen representative." The Babyls professor spoke, creating more whisper and comments of praise in the Auditorium.
"The freshmen representative, Asmodeus-kun."
Iruma stopped covering his face to watch as a pink-haired demon in a very elegant white dress iased from his front seat and began to climb up the stage, hearing the crowd praise him as smart, handsome and others things.
'Finally, someone that can stick out like a sore thumb in here...'
Before Asmodeus could even set his left foot over the stage. The teacher in charge of the podium began to speak on, surprising the spectators.
"Due to an unforeseen circumstances, in place of him, the speech will be made by the scholarship student, Iruma-kun!" Dali jovially announced while the sea of students began to whisper about the sudden change in earnest.
'AHHH!' Iruma screamed inside his head ignoring the mumbles from the demons around him.
Looking in the stage of the dreaded stage, Iruma saw as Sullivan revealed himself behind the curtains, winking at him while carrying a camera in his hands, giving him thumbs up.
'Call it! Please God, do something. This man is going to kill me with his embarrassment magic'
"Iruma-kun, to the stage!" The professor called out.
'Man up, Iruma' An imaginary chibi version of Uriel told him while Iruma swallowed hard before standing up. There was no way out of this one.
Up on stage, Iruma could feel like all the eyes in the room were focusing on him. He didn't like it.
'What to do now!? Maybe if I play statue no one will see me. That used to work with the dinosaurs...'
"Your speech, please." Iruma frowned and looked at the teacher like if he had grown a second head.
He too wished he could just present his speech and go but he had nothing. He wasn't even prepared for this.
'Is this fate's revenge for those dinosaurs!? Then, I hope you lot are happy!'
Unexpectedly, a paper fell literally in front of him, showing him a message.
Iruma began to read it in his mind.
To Iruma-kun.
To ensure that you never fail in your day or have things out of your hands during your new school life school. I gift you this phrase.
Aberuhake Tadarima Iusaresta Ciratebe Aburuze Sutu Aberizemama Uruhakemon Mahoraba Geresnudar Caresniza Tsurezaza
From Grandpa.
'I don't understand a thing this mean!? Either way, this will do. They will surely understand...' Iruma took a deep breath before facing the Auditorium.
He was ready.
"Aberuhake."
Everyone got quiet while some gasps could be heard throughout the room. No one believing what the scholarship student was about to do.
'Eh!? I must be doing it right?' Iruma noticed as everyone was giving him their sole attention, looking impressed while in reality they were shocked at his nerve.
"Tadarima, Iusaresta, ..."
As Iruma continued, the demons in the Auditorium got more and more stunned as the atmosphere in the room began to get electric.
This freshman student was willingly casting one of the forbidden spells. And in front of the whole school.
"Mahoraba, ..." Sullivan filmed the whole ordeal as his beloved grandson continued to chant the forbidden spell.
More and more dark vibes could be felt inside the Auditorium as the dark forces of the Underworld were being called out with each of Iruma's words.
"—... Tsurezaza." Iruma finalized his speech as the whole room stood like stones. Iruma didn't know it but this was the calm before the storm.
Then, all hell literally broke loose inside the building.
"WHAT!?"
"He did it!"
"No frigging way!"
"Seriously!?"
"What's up with that guy!?"
'Heavens above. Everyone loved it' Iruma smiled. He had done it.
"You!" Dali called up to him on stage approached him, looking concerned. "You can't go chanting Forbidden Incantations like they are evidols songs."
"Forbi... eh?" Iruma was weirded out, he had chanted nothing.
"It's a taboo. A stutter or just one word wrongly pronounced and you would have blown up in pieces. Don't you have common sense!?" Dali explained to him that what he had done was actually a risky magic enchanting.
"NANI!?" Iruma exclaimed. No wonder angels did not have use for such spells. God would have never allowed them to die like that. So carelessly.
"I-I..." Iruma didn't know if to ask for public forgiveness or curl up, waiting for teacher to finish.
"That was really dangerous and reckless... and it was totally dope." The teacher gave him some thumbs up.
Iruma's jaw once again fell to the floor.
"You are not mad!?"
"People who chant that are either idiots, stupid or don't fear death at all." The teacher congratulate him for his daring feat, surprising the teen.
It seems like demons had a complete fine mentality with young people and early death going hand by hand, apparently cool with it.
Either way, Iruma had to know what had he just exactly chanted.
"B-By the way, what effect does the chant cast on someone?" He stuttered a little but who could blame him after knowing that he could have become a steaming puddle of flesh and blood in an instant.
"If you did it well, then for the remainder of the day things will go your way."
'That's useless! How more wrong could this day get!?'
Iruma left the podium after his speech, walking down the stairs until he was met face to face with someone he recognized from earlier.
"My name is Asmodeus Alice..." The pink-haired teen demon stood on his path, blocking him from getting forward.
Iruma being Iruma did the only logic thing he could come up with.
"Oh, hello there...?"
Courtyard
'I take that back!' Iruma looked at his opponent across him while being surrounded by a fence of excited students in all directions.
The entirety of Babyls students surrounded the main courtyard after hearing the news that Babyls freshman representative was battling out the principal's grandson, becoming public knowledge that the duel would begin after the Entrance Ceremony.
Iruma did not know the reason why since his challenger said that he would have to beat the answer out of him but it appeared that this was normal in Demon culture.
"I should have been the one to make that speech." Asmodeus Alice reminded the blue-haired teen who just look in surprise at the statement.
So that was it.
'Fighting for a speech. How mundane'
"For you slight against me and for taking what was rightfully mine I, Asmodeus Alice will duel you to see if you are worthy of such honor, Iruma..." Alice brought his hand and produced fire from it, trying to intimidate the shorter of the two.
But Iruma remained steadfast and sure of himself. The gears inside the angel's head began to work overtime.
This was not the first time that he had fought a demon but it was the first time that he was doing it all alone.
During his time with the warrior angels, he had learned that demons like them had magic but it was not as powerful as that of angel kind.
The inhabitants of the Underworld could only manage to specialize in one single area of magic while angels had an affinity for all of them.
For this reason, Iruma understood that several Demons formed families or clans to continue their specialization in their area specialty, either through bloodline-related abilities or secret knowledge passed from. It seemed that the pink-haired demon was well-versed with fire spells or hailed from a family that held expertise on it.
Iruma hands began to get cold but not because of fear, instead because he was going to use the only element that would weaken a fire user like Alice without causing too much ruckus.
Ice.
"Remember, Iruma. You sullied my moment of fame. It is my right to determine if you are worthy or not!" Alice declared, his flames getting bigger and hotter than before.
People cheered and clapped, not minding that any of them could die in this courtyard from collateral damage.
'They are having fun out of this...' Iruma at the moment could only feel disdain for them. Earlier he had said that demons looked human but now these young devils truly acted like animals. Demon culture was truly a barbaric one.
"Now, prove to me that your ability is above mine!" Alice began the show with his attack, throwing several fireballs in Iruma's direction.
"As you wish." Iruma muttered and he deftly avoided every single one of them.
The courtyard exploded as more several fireballs landed on it, all of those attacks being evaded by Iruma who looked calm and collected.
The reason for Iruma's impressing feats was that he was currently strengthening his body abilities and appendages such as his legs and reflexes with the use of holy element magic.
The unique and strongest type of magic that all holy beings created by God shared between them and differed them from the rest of magical creatures populating the realm.
Asmodeus may not know it but continuing his assault would only yield him one result.
His downfall.
The students watching the battle were impressed by Asmodeus magic and Iruma's skills, starting to debate about it to guess who could be the victor in this match.
"I've never seen a demon that can use fireballs that way other than Asmodeus-san."
"He is truly cool!"
"Wow, but not one single of them has connected yet..."
The onslaught continued for twenty minutes straight with Alice relentlessly attacking Iruma while the angel outmaneuvered every one of his single attacks, biding his time.
"H-How!? I can't hit him!" Asmodeus thought after seeing how his attacks were utterly evaded by Iruma who looked normal, not breaking a sweat.
Alice continued until finally his magic reserves were depleted.
"You cheat! Why can't I hit you!?" Alice demanded to know, heavily panting and kneeling on the ground in magic exhaustion.
Iruma however looked at him indifferently, slightly annoyed at the pink-haired needlessly aggressive actions.
"I simply do not wish you to fight you, Asmodeus-san." Iruma simply replied, crossing his arms who looked oddly blue for some reason.
Iruma was grateful that his defensive abilities were on peak, maybe even beyond that. It looked like his mortal parents were not so useless after all and actually trained him for this moment.
He awaited his downed opponent's response, who looked breathless and worse for wear.
However, the crowd never stopped judging their fight.
"Iruma is awesome."
"He hadn't attacked once."
"Does that mean that he doesn't need to attack to win?..."
"Oi, what smells like incense here!?"
Alice and Iruma heard all of this with the Asmodeus teen quickly coming to one conclusion from it.
"So.. that's it... You don't even deing myself worthy of your attacks — not even to fight me seriously!?" Alice asked seriously.
Iruma response was to turn on his back to walk away. He wasn't going to give these people any kind of show for their trivial pleasure.
Sadly, the students misunderstood this action as a sign that Asmodeus Alice was not even worth his time and immediately started to throw comments about it.
"Ohhh! He is walking away..."
"Someone use a camera and capture this humiliation quickly!"
"You should run away to your mommy, Alice-san."
All of this only succeeded in making the teen in white robes to become madder.
"This is not over!" Alice called out to Iruma who was already on the edge of the courtyard.
Iruma gave him a sideways glance and noticed how the demon was standing once again, looking furious.
"If magic doesn't work, then my martial arts will destroy you!" He produced a fire sword, raising at his hip level.
Iruma saw this and adopted another defensive pose that he learned from the drills with Michael-senpai. This will do.
"I am going to tear you from limb to limb!" Alice threatened him while racing to him, ready to defeat him once and for all.
Iruma awaited until Asmodeus was nearly on him to evade him, using his opponent's strength and momentum to fend off his attack in another direction that was not his.
Unluckily, the direction to where Iruma had deviated the attack coincided with the current position to where one Eiko Oni stood, a meek blond demoness who was standing on the sideways watching the battle.
Iruma noticed this and quickly sprung into action, cooling his hands enough to a temperature close to absolute zero. The coldest temperature that could ever exist.
Iruma in a spectacular show of speed and dexterity, raced to the freight train that was Asmodeus Alice, snatching the fire sword from Alice's hands while making the enraged demon tumble on his legs, using his feet as to stop his charge like impromptu brakes.
Iruma had done so in hopes that the bystanders were spared from injuries but it seemed like he played out Alice's speed way too much. He was going to crash into that poor demon girl. There was no stopping him now.
If you did it well, then for the remainder of the day things will go your way.
There was a green flicker of light.
In an unexpected turn of events, Asmodeus never reached the line of defenseless on-lookers, landing on his face inches away from Eiko's shoes, harming no other than himself.
When he recovered, Alice turned on his back only to see a blazing sword pointing at his head.
"W-Why did you did that!?" Alice inquired Iruma who just looked straight up serious.
"You almost killed someone that had no part in this, Alice-san. As an a— " The teen was going to say angel but quickly bit his tongue.
"—demon of high moral standing, I will not let that happen in my watch." Iruma's hand grabbing the pommel of the weapon steamed as fire met ice but was not strong enough to overcome its freezing clutches.
Eiko who had been saved from being sliced in two could only watch with hearts on her eyes as her savior coerced her would-be killer into submission.
"Now, will you yield?" The blue-haired teen edged the sword closer making Asmodeus sweat a little. He had him.
"I-I yield." Alice brought his head down, finding the match pointless to win by this point.
In the end, feeling humiliated and guilty of almost killing an innocent fellow student, Alice conceded to Iruma before all of Babyls student population who looked at both with wide eyes.
'It seemed like the scholarship student was something else indeed' Alice had no doubt about it. He had underestimated Iruma too much.
Iruma drop the weapon down, letting it dispel on the earth, before offering Alice his hand.
"This senseless fighting it's over. Let's get you to the infirmary."
Babyls Principal's Room
For the rest of the day, all that students could talk about was the reckless chanting of forbidden spells in the Entrance Ceremony and of how the scholarship student had bested Asmodeus Alice using only his feet, even taking him to the infirmary for his sprained ankle.
To top more embarrassment into Iruma, the events had even made it to the school's newspaper, showing the picture of him making Alice topple over and other of him carrying him to the school's nurse.
Now, here he was, watching the school's newspaper next to his grandpa in his office.
"As expected of my grandson. Good start on your student journey, Iruma-kun." Sullivan praised his grandson, making him smile sheepishly.
"I told him that I didn't wanna fight!? Maybe I should—" Iruma was about to defend himself when both heard the doors abruptly open.
Pushing them wide open, was the form of Asmodeus Alice, who started walking to Iruma.
It was time to apologize for his actions.
But Iruma best him to it.
"Listen, maybe we started in the wrong foo—" Iruma began only to be stopped by Alice who surprisingly kneeled over Iruma while he looked alarmed.
The angel was not expecting this.
"I've lost in our duel, soundly defeated by the likes of you. Moreover, you helped me get to the infirmary." Alice declared but Iruma didn't know to where was going with this.
"I am deeply touched by your actions and no words can convey how grateful I am."
"It's nothing rea—" Irumas was about to brush him off since it was in his mature as angel to help.
However, Alice pressed on.
"As demonic custom demands from the loser party. I shall serve you, Iruma-sama."
"Serve!?" The angel shrieked. He was expecting an apology but not this.
"Therefore, I shall devote my body and give my all in helping you rule over this school!" Alice tone changed, going from serious to jovial in one go.
"W-Wait! I did not—"
"Whatever you wish is my command, Iruma-sama." Asmodeus proclaimed to his new master who looked ready to pass out.
"But I—"
"Iruma-kun, can I post this picture on social Blackbook?" Sullivan asked, waiting for his grandson approval on the matter.
"Both of you, wait!" Iruma comically argued to both to stop their behavings while trying to process what was happening.
And so, Iruma on his first day at Babyls Demon School had taken everyone's attention by storm and gained a new ally.
But none of them noticed as an unnatural white dove in one of the building's roofs looked down to the principal's window before flying off, high up into the Netherworld sky.
AN: Here you go people. Thank you for the reviews. I am happy to see that you are liking it so far so expect more in time.
As you can see this will follow cannon but it will deviate and differ in most parts since Iruma is clearly a magic being.
Hope you are loving it and any idea or recommendation is welcome as well as feedback.
See you soon.
