The rebels returned to their recent hideout in Gotham City. "Today was the first victory for us. We've lost so many to get there." Supergirl announced. Jessica showed the device in the Batmobile." Ok,let's go to this one." Lena proposed and in a blink of light,the seven renegedes were gone.
They arrived into a city which resembled Metropolis. The sign said "New York.". There was one large tower destoryed,with a broken A symbol on it. They decided to enter the building. They found several nameplates. The top of it said "Avengers." . The screen showed the life sign of the members. Most of these signs were off,which proved the regime or another villains killed them all. The only active members were Tony Stark,and Stephen Strange. "We need to find them" Constantine sighed. At Constantine's remark,an AI voiced answered," Showing location." The screen showed they were in the building called sanctum sanctrum.
Thanks to Constantine's magic,they quickly made it to the sanctum. A man with a cape greeted the seven. "Greetings,I am Stephen Strange,the sorcerer supreme. What do you have here?" " I am the leader of these seven,I am Kara Zor-El and I have come here to seek help in defeating the regime." Supergirl responded. Another man,who wore an armor like Lena's entered the room. "So there is finally help,I am Tony Stark,the Iron Man." The man responded. "I remember the good old days." He told in a sad voice.
Tony Stark remembered the day Superman had invaded,the Avengers were busy defeating a gang of Hydra. Then the dark man of steel has appeared before them. "Kneel before your master if you wish to protect this world,like me." Superman said. "You dictators are all the same." Captain America prepared his shield,but before he could,Superman punched a hole in his chest,and killed the Avenger. "Nooo! I will kill you for that!" Thor was maddened by the death of his best friend and attacked Superman without mercy,only to be torn apart by Doomsday. The monster then proceeded to rip Hulk apart,and more and more heroes soon fell to Doomsday's and Superman's might. Tony and Strange were bullied under a building by Black Adam,and when they got out of the rubble,there was a bloodbath,made by the blood and limbs of their comrades.
"We too lost many friends to that son of a bitch,mine and Jason's family were slaughtered by his army. Mera lost her husband and her brother in law." Mary said. "And that is why we are going to kill him and his lackeys." A woman with a hammer showed up in the building. "Thor? How are you alive? I saw you getting ripped in half." Tony asked the woman. " I am not the Thor you know,I'm his fiancé.Jane Foster." The Woman revealed herself. "We need to make our move,get in." Iron Man ordered.The Avengers still had one Quinjet left,so they decided to use both Batmobile and the Jet.
The Quinjet was attacked by the flyers led by Captain Marvel,Cyborg,War Machine,and a white large Airplane.The Quinjet crashed into a garden. The Batmobile followed the jet and the heroes were gathered there again,and they were shocked by the many gravestones. There were many names of heroes. Stark knew who they were,the X-Men. A man with a red cape similar to Superman came down from the sky,and bowed before the gravestone. He then turned away to see many faces. "Magneto" Stark greeted the mutant. Magneto knew Tony and him were already on the same side,the day the X-Men was gone,the day his brotherhood turned against his. A girl came next to Magneto,after paying respect to the gravestone of her father,Logan.
"We need you on our side." Stark pleaded to the Mutant,Magneto agreed to his offer. Although they had a bad past as the hero and the villain,they both wanted to avenge their comrades. The insurgency payed their respect to the gravestones of the heroes who lost their lives trying to protect their world,when they got struck by the missiles. The white airplane transformed and revealed its true form,and yelled,"Behold the glory of Jetfire!" Jetfire was also the zombie soldier Superman had created,Jetfire fired at the gravestones,and burned them."How dare you!" The Mutant yelled and created a huge magnetic field,Jetfire's metal was controlled by the field and he was immediately lifted away. It also lead Cyborg to Jetfire,and these two was stuck together and could do nothing against Magneto. From behind,Sabretooth and Toad,the traitors of the brotherhood of mutants attacked Magneto before he could realize it,they hit the old mutant relentlessly.But when they were about to kill him,the girl pulled out her large Adamantium claws and sliced them into pieces,killing Toad.She said,"This is for my dad!"
The zombie Captain Marvel and her zombie companions,Scarlet Witch and War Machine arrived and attacked the remaining Avengers,they were first confused by the attack,but quickly understood the situation. Thor fought Captain Marvel and the Scarlet Witch by herself,while evading the photon blast and the hex blast,she struck them with her full power of thunder,she electrocuted both femme fatales and took them down. Iron Man fought War Machine,who fired bullets toward his former friend without mercy,Tony had no choice but to hit Rhodes hard,with his uni beam. When he thought the fight ended,a star-striped shield got in his way,and it brought a immense dread to his eyes. His enemy was none other than the beacon of hope,Steve Rogers.Captain America was also remade as a zombie soldier of Superman,"Steve?" He gasped.Iron Monger landed in front of him and slammed him countless times. " You are weak Tony! I built your company and made it stronger. You achieved nothing! This will be my first achievement as the part of the regime!" Iron Monger attacked Iron Man with his bulky suit. Even though his suit was more tough,it made him slow,Magneto created his field again,the shield and Iron Monger were sucked into the field,giving Tony enough time to make Captain America stand down.
"Why is our friends turned into zombies who serve Superman?" Iron Man asked Supergirl."Their is no information about that,but I am sure about this. We need to go to this Earth." Supergirl said.The display showed It was the Earth Jetfire came from. With a nod,the insurgents followed her into the portal made by the motherbox.
When the portal closed,a mercenary showed up into the garden. He wore a red and black suit. He uttered,"Ah,I should have gone with them.. Anyway,Me,Deadpool isn't dead! I have the power of plot armor! I hate this Batman vs Superman bullshit."
In the next chapter,The insurgency will go to the planet,Cybertron. Some unlikely alliance will be formed...
